Official Press Release From:
The Armed Capitalist Republic of The Silver Sky
http://www.nationstates.net/images/flags/uploads/the_silver_sky.jpg

In a surprising move today the government has agreed to start colonies in a far away region, several other allies have also claimed colonies nearby. Several dozen other nations have also claimed some kind of land, however even surrounded by our allies we need to consolidate our holdings in the area.

The Colonies are to be named, the Isle of Endymion, Atlantia and Pacifica, a map of them can be seen here (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y10/68157Silver/colonial0hdcopy.png)

Along with the usual escort of destroyers High Command has also decided that a single fleet, the 4th Fleet with it's new 'Neptune'-Class Trimaran Super Dreadnaught Flight II, along with a We Buy It Fleet.

Hundreds of ships, commercial and military alike will take part in the largest movement of men and material in the history of The Silver Sky, hundreds of thousands have volunteered and thousands more have been drafted to take part in this monumental undertaking.

As I speak hundreds of ships are nearing the Isle of Endymion and are preparing to set up a colonial capital.

In a mere few months the colony is expected to be fully operational, and the other two within a year and a half.

Colonization Phase 2/4

[50 miles east of the Isle of Endymion]

The huge fleet hung offshore as transports began unloading thousands of people, both military and civilian, a make shift airfield, to be the basis of the new airport, the city was to be dubbed Farbanti and would serve as the capital of the island.

In a short few hours the sound of transport planes could be heard, they began to land and unload more supplies and people.

On that first day the foundations for hundreds of buildings were laid.

A forward fleet was dispatched with other colonist to go forward to the colonies of Atlantia and Pacifica: Map (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y10/68157Silver/colonial0hdcopy.png)

Airstrips would be established and cities would be built. All the colonies would be under the control of the military until elections could be held.

Forces Deployed to Keep the Peace:
3x Heavy Divisions (http://s14.invisionfree.com/TSSTechCentral/index.php?showtopic=79) to each colony = 229,050 Combat Troops
2x Naval Fleets (http://s14.invisionfree.com/TSSTechCentral/index.php?showtopic=104) = 440 combat ships
1x Air Group (http://s14.invisionfree.com/TSSTechCentral/index.php?showtopic=102) to each colony = 1,584 Planes

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[Farbanti Air Force Base]
Major General O'Maly watched over the construction of the city from his newly finished watch tower, it was the highest point in the city since it was positioned on a hill, the city was rapidly growing, already several dozen houses ere finished and the port was close to completion thanks to those artifical breakwaters and docks they had brought with them. The first commerical building was scheduled for completion
The main part of the military base was done, vehicles patrolled the barbwire fences and buildins, the airfields were completely paved and several dozen hangars lined the sides of it, each filled with an assortment of planes.
The barracks had been finished the night before, the radar arrays and SAM sites were still being constructed throughout the island so he still required the use of naval radar and AWACs.
A soldier walked into the room, "General!"
"At ease soldier, what'cha need?" Asked O'Maly without even turning around.
"Thus automated defenses are here along with the ST-37s, and the vehicle pool will be finished ahead of schedule."
"Good good, tell them to mount them near the SAM stations and proposed sites of the defensive guns, have the ST-37s patrol around the city. They ain't got anything better to do."
"Yes sir!" Said the soldier as he saluted.
"Good kid, should go far as long as he manages to stay alive." Thought O'Maly.
As he grabbed the nearby phone a squadron of SAH-27As flew towards the city, "Quite a site" he thinks as he dials a number.
Colonzation Phase 3/4
[Comona Naval Air Force Base, Colony Atlantia]
Major General Bowden poured over the papers he'd just received, 'Damn people at the capital! I should be out their leading our troops, not babysitting a bunch of civilians and doing paper work!'.
A few seconds later the satellite phone rang jolting him out of his thoughts.
"Comona Naval Air Force Base, Major General Bowden here."
"It's been a while Hank, how are things?"
"Fred O'Maly!? Well I can't believe it, how've you been!? It's certainly has been awhile."
"Unfortunetly it has, but it seems faith brought us together again, as soon as things settle down here I'll be up there to meet with you, I'll be eager to see how much you've grown up since Ista Fortress."
"Same here old friend, anyway, but I've got alot of paper work to finish for those pencil pushers back at the capital, and I need to do inspection to night, the hangars are finally done and several new buildings are being built and a new dock is being put in."
"I understand, I should get back to the command center anyway. Keep in touch, bye"
"I will, bye."
With that General Bowden set down the phone, as he did a new energy coursed thru his veins, he quickly finished what would have taken him a few hours and handed the papers to the mail officer.
He walked out of the HQ and towards his LV-08 to make the rounds of the new buildings.
Out at sea he could see, not a military fleet, but We Buy It's 3rd fleet, this would be their new home harbor, although he knew that merely a hour in plane flight to the northwest was another fleet, that one of the military, and he also knew that he was surrounded by allies in all directions, they were safe.
He drove past the airfield and he could see the OTH radar array that was being built in the nearby hill, as he drove near the shores he watched the remote defense stations and SAM sites, they were literally a fortress.
He drove along the beach, too his right was a sheer rock wall, and on top of that was the base, command had decided it was a good idea, after they had seen what Ista Fortress could do, to build a base on a group of cliffs and hills and into build into the ground a cliffs, he could spot a few 24" guns sticking out of the cliff.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

[San Salavation Naval Base]

The situation here was the same as the rest of the cities, building progressed without incident, all of the cities were expected to be operation and self sustaining within the next few weeks/months, and the colonies within the year, it was better then high command could have ever hoped for.

Colonization Phase 4/4 "Final Preperations"

[Isle of Endymion]

Finally after many weeks the main military bases and colony capitals were finished, Farbanti was quickly becoming a trade and tourist hub due too it being a waypoint between the other colonies.

The harbor had been expanded and could now hold nearly half a naval fleet, mean while 2 more major military bases have been set up on the southern and western tips of the island, near 2 more cities, a total of 3 major military bases and 6 cities of at least 200,000 or more, with dozens of small towns poping up in the interior of the island, the island was well defended by remote weapon stations and 24", and 8" Mark 71 Shore Cannons, along with dozens of SAM batteries, a single OTH Radar Array operated from the middle of the island seeing hundreds, nearly over a thousand miles into the ocean and surrounding landmasses.

It was as solid as a rock and the military on the island would soon be testing out some new SAMs and ATA missiles over the ocean.

Another major surprise was when it was discovered that large schools of fish liked to visit the island during the winter causeing a booming commerical fishing market, a few weeks after the first major was done oil was discovered off shore, not a lot but enough to keep the colony going for a couple dozen decades, major oil fields were being set up off the eastern shore with smaller ones dotting the northern and southern shores.

[Colony Atlantia]

The situtation wasn't much different on the mainland colony, after the Isle of Endymion had settled the population boomed, nearly 1.75 million people had emigrated from The Silver Sky, another ~100,000 residents had actually been born on the colonies or on the way over, it was estimated that the 1.5 Billionth Citizen would probably be born on one of the colonies and not the mainland. A total of 19 major cities had popped up on the island, only 10 of those had actually been planned by the government, quite a surprise, but a good one none the less.

A big surprise was that ore and uranium deposits had been discovered in some of the mountains near the shore and inland, althought it wasn't really substaintial it would be able to keep production up for at almost 25 years, another major oil field had been discovered in the inland sea and near the shore of the colony and the part of Pacifica near it, although it wasn't as exploitable as the one at the Isle of Endymion because of the extreme depths involved and the fact that some of it lay in other nations waters, it was estimated that 30-60% of the oil would be available to production and refining, huge refining plants went up along the coast.

Naval vessels and those of We Buy It constantly patrolled the fields because of the threat.

Also a space center was being constructed, although unlike the one in The Silver Sky this one was purely military, most speculated that it would be used to keep the military's ABM system up to date, and to expand it to include the colonies.

Military officials have officially stated that the colonies would be 75% under the ABM shield within the next 6 months and fully under the shield within the year.

[Colony Pacifica]

Having originally gotten off to a great start it soured soon their after, many of the colonist were either extreme right or left wing, these ideologies clashed for nearly 3 weeks of violence, although not major damage was done nearlly 2,000 civilians and 500 military were injured or killed. This event chased many of the other colonist away, it took awhile to recover but they did it, the tropical forest and great climate made up for the original violence and the lack of lots of natural resources(They still had quite a bit, just not like the other colonies.) and managed to start attracting more colonist again, 22 cities sprung up, mostly with government help or because military troops were included in the census.

[Over All Situation]

The overall moral and spirit of the colonist is at an all time high, with hundreds of jobs being created, especially with the opening of a new shipyard in Comona, which will be used to create 2 Neptune Class SD Flight IIs for an ally.

[Interesting Tidbits]

With all this sucess one would think the colonist would be oblivious to all other happenings, but some are worried, especially the ones that live near the north/eastern borders, a influx of long range SAMs has been seen delivered to military bases and are being place near the border, another disturbing thing is that while the military says they are now longer nessercary to keep order it is rumored that even more divisions are being sent, in the past few weeks several divisions and another fleet have been deployed, their destination remains unknown and military officials refuse to comment, civilians also report that several divisions are taking part in mock invasions and the fleets are undergoing combat exercises.

Could the flames of war have finally reached this remote corner of the Armed Capitalist Republic?

Czardas
12-11-2005, 04:57
Colonial Capital, Great Avren, Silanche Island. Czardaian Overseas Colonies.

Daniel Andreev is one of the busiest men in Czardas. Since Czardas's claiming of colonies a year or more ago, he was the one selected to oversee the building of the colonies: here in Silanche, that is. Now he could finally see the fruits of his labors. Silanche is officially "open". More than 2 million Czardaians have chosen to emigrate to this island, with another 3-5 million going to Florians and Tharesia colonies nearer The Silver Sky's territory.

The Czardaians had come over on several groups of transports, which along with their escorts—about 24 combat ships along with the 40+ transports and the helicopters—now resided in Silanchian harbors. Besides that, they had little. What existed of the Czardaian government had provided them with a grant, enough money to build housing for themselves and construct facilites to mine the natural resources of the island, which were plentiful in themselves.

However, today Andreev has no time to look over the cities built on the island, the shipyards constructed. A grant from the Czardaian government, or what existed of it. From there on they had to rely on the resources of the land. Fortunately those had been plentiful, and Andreev now lives on an island promising to boom. Today, however, he must enter a meeting with the rest of the island's high council, of sorts.

General Danail Arachinov, commander of the 5th National Army—a total of 810,000 troops conscripted from the Czardaian reserves to defend the island and other colonies—is waiting in Intel Briefing Room #1, along with Andreev's intelligence chief, an officer known as Mink. Andreev smiles, as it is the only intel briefing room they have so far. He pushes open the door and walks into the bright circle of electric bulbs, sniffing the smell of new rubber as he glances at the map of the area, then at Arachinov and Mink.

Mink speaks first. "As you probably know, the Silver Sky's colonial forces in this vicinity are mobilizing, engaging in exercises and preparing for war."

"I'd heard something of the sort, yes," says Andreev, trying to keep his voice casual.

"It means that we may be called upon to aid them. It looks like nations such as Doomingsland are also seizing colonies in the region... there may be an outbreak soon."

Andreev knows enough of Doomingsland to know that they are sworn enemies of the Concordance. "It may be related to that?"

"Possibly," says Arachinov. "It may not. But I'll radio Central Command...we'll need full air support, at least twenty wings total, to be divided among the colonies."

"I've had word from Tharesia," says Andreev. "Apparently they completed their shipyards ahead of schedule and have already started building naval combat ships. As yet Florians has done nothing along that line..."

"...which is highly worrisome," concludes Mink. "You see, Florians is the one bordering Doomingsland. Besides reinforcing that border as strongly as possible—the mountains are full of trench pits, minefields, pillboxes, machine gun nests, missile defense systems, and so on—they have built a few airfields and harbors, but no large naval harbors able to keep a fleet."

"Yes..."

"As you know, the Czardaian military has spent the last five years working on rebuilding its navy after the various wars. Eighty-six ships and seventy-two submarines suddenly seemed very small and impossible to use." Arachinov goes on, "That project is nearing completion. I have been informed that the military has purchased two of the Silver Sky's Superdreadnaughts as a final complement to the navy. That was several years ago ([ooc:] Really using fluid time here....), and since then the number of combat ships alone has increased to 144, with many more still being built, ready within several months."

"I see," says Andreev shortly. There is little to say, after all.

"Now that war has broken out between us and CAD, it is becoming all the more imperative that this project be completed as quickly as possible to defend both Czardas and, especially, these colonies; therefore, I have asked a number of corporate and private interests in Czardas to contribute more money to national defense. With the situation outlined, several readily complied, increasing our funds to more than $4 trillion—enough to finish building our navy in time."

"Very well. Should we send some kind of message to The Silver Sky announcing our support?"

"It's hardly necessary right now," says Mink. "But do call for the extra wings of aircraft, and begin naval and military exercises. You know, get the governor-populations of Florians and Tharesia to reinforce their borders, and so on."

"Very well." Andreev nods curtly.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From all over Czardas, a total of 1,440 aircraft take off, twenty wings of Czardas's deadly air force. Their destination: the colonies. Skimming expertly through the air at about Mach 2.2, they set out for the newly constructed airfields to reinforce them, in case of an attack by whomever the enemy might be this time. A silent gesture of support for The Silver Sky. They were sure to notice it anyway...
Meanwhile, in the "colonies" themselves, the citizens from Czardas and immigrants from other nations commingled, the roots of a new society starting in the lands. A new beginning. And a new end.
The smell of machinery in the air. The sound of voices, of noise, of everyday life which was always new.
The Great Colonial Experiment was on.
"This is OTH RADAR Operator CIII, we have Czardaian Fighters incoming, tons of them, coming in fast too, mach +2, seems they weren't to busy protesting to notice what we're doing."
Dozens Laughs could be heard over the radio.
"Ok, ok guys, get back to work, our shift ends in only an hour, you can wait until then can't you?"
A resounding "Yes sir!" could be heard.
"Good good, hey, guys monitoring the exercises, who's winning?"
"Gold team sir, 175 down to 100 of their own."
"Well, tell them to stop screwing around, get their asses over to escort those damn Czardaians through out air space, I want to see how well our allies can play 'tag'."
A message went out to every Czardaian plane.
"This is Station OTH III, monitoring the airwaves, playing all of your favorite "We can see you" hits! How would you guys like to play tag, we have 1152 F-133s and 576 F/A-3s waiting to play with you guys, so what do ya say?"
"New lands!?"
Colonization Phase 5/4?
November 12th, 2005; Issue 05; $1.00
"Updated Map as of November 12th" (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y10/68157Silver/colonial1yucopy.png)
[Isle of Endymion]
All is good on the isle in the middle of the ocean, the oil industry is booming, fishing is very good at this time of year, the citizens have setteled into their new home, elections have already begun for local governments, the island will be divided into 4 districts each with it's own representative, a general election for colony is set for 2 months.
On a more serious note the military has stepped up patrols around the oil fields and islands due to the recent colonization by Civitas Americae, NYC, and the Isle of Skye, Spizania has also colonized the area but due to the fact that they are in the IADF they are regared as no threat.
Will the Isle of Endymion be able to get along peacfully with it's new neighbors?
[Colony Atlantia]
Oil production continues to boom, as does the ore and uranium mining operations.
The Military Space Center has begun launches and is being used to bring the colonies under the ABM sheild, with the edition of the new colony progress has only climbed to 83% complete, though it should be done in a few months.
We Buy It Patrols have been stepped up around the oil fields to keep any unwanted guest away.
[Colony Pacifica]
Nothing too exciting going on here, although a recent influx of imagrants to the region has caused the population to go up.
[Colony Marshall]
The newest of the colonies, claimed before Spizania got their claim, a huge influx of colonist from the already established colonies and the mainland have caused a few cities to spring up in the small amount of time. Military officials also have seen the use of this new land and have dedicated 2 Heavy Divisions, an air group and a fleet to defend this strategically signifigant piece of land, although with our allies Czardas right across the lake and Spizania in the IADF no threats have been for told so the amount of troops might decrease at a later date, although the amount of remote defences will most likely stay constant.
Also, a strange development is that a large number of rail ways have been built near the Spizanian border and throughout the rest of the colony, officials say they are to transport new colonist cheaply. Although the weird thing is that the rails are broad gauge rails (five feet). Very strange for a civilian rail system.
[Overall Situation]
The overall situation in the colonies remains the same, spirits are high and the citizens are going about their daily lives just like if they were at home.
[Interesting Information and Rumors]
The rumor mill has done some turning, with over 500,000 troops, and 3,000 planes, along with +600 naval combat ships in the colonies the rumor of an impending war has gained strength, it seems our allies in the Czardaian colonies have noticed this too, and have increased their military in the region, apparently our allies in the other Woodstock Pact Colonies have also noticed this and have fueled rumors of war with the Doomingslandi colony, although the military officials I've been in contact with have assured me that relations with Doomingsland is at a all time high and the threat of war is very little.
With that information from the military who is the mysterious enemy, or future enemy that the military is prepareing for war with. Also, it is rumored that the newly commisioned GDB-001 "Super Nova" bomb is being deployed to the colonies, the military acknowledges that their are weapon shipments but that they are regular weapons and are only here for testing purposes, any further questions were turned away.
Are the Flames of War closer then we think? Are they already lighting up the horizion? Only time will tell.
Colonel Gramm of the 4th Marshall Logistical Company waited with a few dozen of his men at the base train station, they were responsible for the safe delivery of 5 GDB-001s and 25 GDB-002s, right now they were waiting for the train carrying them to arrive.
"I can't believe they're selling these things!" Says Gramm as he looks over the technical specifications again. "Damn things are huge! They weigh more then our IFVs! No wonder headquarters gave us tank transporters."
As Gramm finishes his rant the train could be seen pulling into the station, Gramm gathers his personal.
Ok guys, we have ten transports, five for the big boys and 5 that can carry 3 of the smaller ones. Should any of these babies have even a stratch or dent in them I will personally rip your rank right from your shirt! You understand?"
The troops nodded, "Good now get to work."
[Seveal Hours Later]
After several hours of back breaking labor, the bombs were finally loaded, after a brief recovery period the crew got into their vehicles, armored caskets had been placed over the bombs to disguse their true identiy and purpose of the transports.
As the transports left the base and travelled down the road to the Spizanian border station they were joined by 4 ST-37s, 4 M-89 IFVs and 12 LV-08s. Gramm's voice came over the radio, "Ok, while intel says these Spizanian guys are pretty good we don't want to take any chances, our escape in the instance of any problem is pretty much standard, the Tanks and IFVs will stand and fight while we, escorted by the LV-08s, will haul ass towards the border, we have a few companies of troops ready at a moments notice, so we should be safe."
Gramm finishes as the convoy stops infront of the Spizanian border station.
[Interceptor Air Group]
Hundreds of F-133s and F/A-3s closed on the Czardaian Formation.
"All aircraft, engage Pallas Athena Stealth System"
The RCS of the fighters was cut to nearly zero, totally destroying the chance for long or medium range interception with RADAR.
"Engage Active Camo System."
The gray tones of the airplanes changed to match the sky reducing the range at which a visual system could see the plane. With LADAR/LIDAR absorbant paint and the angles of the planes adding to their stealthyness it would be nearly impossible to make long or medium range interception.
"Interception Plan Alpha, make every pass count boys!" Yelled the group leader of the radio.
The fighters accelerated to Mach 2.5, and climbed to 70,00ft to get the jump on the Czardaian fighters, one group headed straight towards the enemy fighters while the other 2 groups broke formation and went to the right and left before turning to intercept.
OOC: Basically the first group is head nose on, the other two groups are at 45 and 315 degrees from the nose respectively.
OOC: Ok Czardas, here is how the simulation works, the program takes control of the Fire control Systems, effectively deactivating the missiles and guns, in order to shoot down a plane you need to track a target for a certain amount of time(Increases the closer the plane gets), and then the HUD will say fire, the pilot must pull the trigger "releasing" a simulated missile, the pilot must keep the target locked on until the missile hits.
The pilot who is being track gets a warning and can "fire" simulated flares and chaff, the other computer of the chasing plane takes into account the type of weapon fired, the countermeasures used and the manuvers of the plane against the path of the missile, it determines if the "missile" "hits" or "misses" the other enemy.
Pretty simple, and when the missile "hits" the "hit" pilot gets a warning and must procceed to a "safe area" away from the action.
Czardaian Fighter Formation
The formation heads into the clouds, their blue absorbent paint and radar cancellation on, disappearing swiftly from the Skyian screens. Then, as Skyian fighters approach, the Czardaian formation breaks. Suddenly the area that once contained over 1,000 planes is completely empty as the fighters spread through the clouds, the Kestrels jamming "enemy" radar. As the Skyian fighter groups approach in a three-pronged motion, the Czardaian planes are nowhere to be found, preparing for the sudden strikes they are infamous for.
A group of about 45 Daggers suddenly shifts direction at 85,000 feet, accelerating to Mach 2.4 as they plummet downwards towards a group of Skyian planes, their med-range AAMs already locked on Skyian fighters. Then, as suddenly as they appeared, the formation breaks and disappates into the clouds.
All over the area, similar scenes are being played out as Dagger planes strike suddenly at their "enemies". Meanwhile, the Peregrines are doing their own job.
25 Peregrines switch on ARC and push their planes to nearly Mach 4, closing in with multiple AAMs locked on Skyian fighters. As they hit the firing range, they dive under towards the sea, their countermeasures and anti-missile weapons ready for fire. The rest of the vast formation remains high in the air, hidden from enemy screens...
The F-133s were ready for the "Sudden Strike" of the Daggers, Skyian pilots had researched the techquines of the Czardaian fighter pilots. Carefully and swiftfully nearly the F-133s avoided the simulated missiles with their stealth and active directional radar jammers.
The F-133s and F/A-3s hit full afterbuners and nailed Mach 3.5 and screamed up towards the Czardain fighters, with thier switchblade designs the F-133s and F/A-3s while bigger, were much more maunverable then their Dagger counterparts. Their powerful radars, uplinked to each other for better use, quickly "burned" through the jamming and acheived locks onto the Czardaian Daggers, quickly closing formation they tried to maunver behind their "enemies." and "released" simulated version of the AIM-508 Starshield New Short Range Air-to-Air Missiles, capable of off-boresight firing and lock-after-launch, and it's computer systems making it very less vunerabl to Blurred Edges and Flickering Skin type systems
A seperate group of F-133s and F/A-3s closed on the enemy jamming planes, using lock-on-jam technology and uplinked radar, they easily broke through the wall of ARC and jamming and achieved a lock with their AIM-509 Starfall New Intermediate Range Dual Function Missiles, hundreds of missiles were "fired" at the enemy Peregrines and quickly closed formation.
ARC and jamming may have worked against an enemy that didn't know the systems or hadn't seen enemy tactics, but not against trained and ready enemies.
...were much more maunverable then their Dagger counterparts...
[ooc:] The only things more maneuverable than Daggers are Doom's F-78s. With the combination of wing design (position changing according to programmed needs), size, and speed, the Daggers can outmaneuver just about anything. Just making sure you knew. If your planes are approximately on that level, then you're fine. If not, then....try revising that...
[ic:]
As the missiles come in from the Skyian planes, Daggers veer out of the way, maneuvering in blurring motions, their wings quickly sweeping into forward-swept for maximum maneuverability...which is really, really high maneuverability. Although the Daggers take a few "losses", the vast majority disappear into the clouds. Kestrels continue their jamming, while the other fighters spread out, circling at 90,000 feet or even higher—at the maximum end of their range.
The Peregrines, meanwhile, are traveling so quickly that by the time the Skyian "missiles" reach them, they are well out of range already, maneuvering swiftly and ascending once more into the clouds. As the fighter formation completely vanishes from startled Skyian screens, the Strikers and Hailstorms, going at slower speeds of around Mach 2 behind the fighter groups, lock a hail of long-range AAMs with plenty of maneuvering range—nearly a thousand in all—on the enemy planes.
The convoy came to a halt in front of the gate as the Spizania Guard calls out to them.
Colonel Gramm sent a message over the shortwave radio to the other vehicles, they stopped, the tanks and IFVs cut their engines, and the LV-08s stayed a small distance behind, but kept the engines running.
Gramm opened the cabin of his truck and walked towards the guard showing him his papers and the deliverly papers. "Colonel Gramm, 4th Marshall Logistical Company, Silver Sky Republican Air Force, here on deliverly duty." He said to the guard.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

OOC: Geez Czardas you sound a bit angry. :p There are more maunverable planes then your Daggers, the F-133s(Which are improved version of the ones on my forum) are at least equal, with moveable canards, switchblade wings, low drag, and 4D thrust vectoring(Up, down, side to side and diagnoal).

IC:

While the majority of the F-133s chase after the Daggers "firing" short range AAMs many of the F/A-3s break engagement and head towards the high flying Kestrels, as the F/A-3s come into range they lock on with their AIM-509 Starfalls, with both RADAR guidance, emmision guidance, and home-on-jam their accuracy would be deadly. But they didn't launch from max range, but waited until they were at least 50km from the Kestrels.

The fighters hardly dissappear from the RADAR screens, with LADAR and LIDAR and with the F-133s and F/A-3s off-bore sight lock and lock after launch technology they Daggers could be behind them and the Skyian fighters could still launch missiles at them.

The long ranged AAMs were easily dispatched by Active Directional Jammers and the stealth features of the planes, just because the planes could get a lock doesn't mean that the missile will be able to stay on that lock. Although a few planes were "hit"

Scores of F-133s soared after the Peregrines, although the Peregrines were fast they weren't fast enough, although the "official tops speed" of the F-133s was recorded at Mach 3.5 to confuse enemies the actualy top speed excceded mach 4 for a brief amount of time, who knew how long both planes could keep up this speed. Dozens of F-133s released volleys of AIM-315A/B 'Spear' AAAMs, with a top speed of Mach 5.1 and the ability to maunver up to 30gs it could easily our maunver any plane in the sky.

A secondary force of 150 F/A-3s released a volley of nearly 450 AIM-315A/B 'Spear' AAAMs at the force of Strikers and Hailstorms from a range of 75 miles, another force of F-133s closed from the sides, but waited before releasing their missiles.

[ooc:] Daggers were designed for maneuverability and little else. They have many of those features, and more, in order to outmaneuver the vast majority of missiles... only extremely maneuverable missiles with speeds exceeding Mach 6 will be able to hit at Dagger at its best. They generally spread out to avoid being tracked and are so small that, when flying high, can be mistaken for unmanned recon planes or even large birds—one of the RADAR "disguises" of Daggers...

[ic:]

The Kestrels, high in the air, spot the F/A-3s approaching them long before the fighters can launch their "missiles", and immediately lock and launch a virtual volley of AIMX-302C long-range AAMs—a total of 150—followed by another virtual volley of med-range AAMS (300) launched as soon as the Skyian fighters come within 60 km. These large med-range missiles have a deadly explosive power, and would hurtle at speeds of Mach 6+ towards their targets, too fast for a human eye to see—and too fast for most mechanical eyes. As soon as the Kestrels have fired this "volley" and maintained their lock for the specified amount of time they disappear into the clouds, with their absorbent paint disguising them on LIDAR and LADAR screens, and ARC and other stealth measures hiding them from RADAR.

The Peregrines themselves have been confusing their counterparts, the F-133s. They too accelerate to their official maximum, Mach 4, and then a bit beyond that... While most Peregrines can accelerate to speeds far exceeding this, the so-called "sprint" range, they choose instead some devious maneuvers picked up from combat against other major air powers such as Doomingsland. Switching on radar cancellation and slowing to about Mach 3 to avoid burning, they dive down towards the sea; even if the Skyian radar still manages to pick up the Czardaian planes, it would appear as though they had been "hit" and were falling out of the sky. They suddenly level out at about 4,000 feet. This group, consisting of 60 Peregrines, splits and turns off to the sides, ascending into the skies once more out of Skyian RADAR range.

Here and there, tiny groups of Daggers launch med-range strikes (30-50km) at Skyian planes, hoping to confuse the "enemy" formation by attacking from many places at once. The break of the Czardaian formation ensures that, unbeknownst to the Skyian fighters, the Czardaians hold a circle around the enemy planes. From here, they would usually cut down all enemy planes with swift strikes and Firestars until they had filled in the center of the circle. In this mock battle they simply maintain locks with med- and short-range AAMs.

Meanwhile, the Strikers and Hailstorms activate their extensive anti-missile defenses and countermeasures. The Strikers and Hailstorms have long since broken formation, scattered over 250 miles of sky, and the retaliation comes not from them but from the Daggers—a force of more than 300 of them, which bands together swiftly, fires a rain of swift (Mach 5+) med- and short-range AAMs—600 in all—and disappears into the clouds, in a true battle to refill their missile stocks and refuel at supply planes, but here simply to hide at heights exceeding 90,000 feet.

"Losses" so far:
20 F-59 Daggers
11 F-60 Peregrines
10 F/B-91 Strikers
2 B-68 Hailstorms

Czardas, the objective is not to shot and scoot, it's to shoot and maintain lock untl the missile hits, this is because the computer only tracks what your senors are tracking, if you fire and quit lock to fly away the missile is "lost", no hit, that's why I have low casulaties to your attacks.

And what part of Home-on-jam don't you understand? The more you jam the more likely the missiles are to hit, not to metion the IR signature.

Your Daggers can out run close launched Mach 4.5+ missiles? Bullshit. You're going to be pulling way to many Gs at that speed to even turn, unless your pilots and planes can pull +20 Gs, which while possible for a well built plane would kill a human pilot, it could not our manuver a missile, and you saying that mach 6 missiles could even be extremely manuverable is also bullshit, a hypersonic missile trying to turn that fas could be easily out manuvered except by big targets. It's either speed, size, or manuverability for a plane or missile very rarely could you have both.

How could you planes dive at Mach +4, what are they made out of, even my F-133s can't dive at Mach +4, when diving at Mach 4 you'd gain even more speed, I doubt any modern material put on a fighter could dive that far with out burning, let alone have stealth, the only plane to reach that speed, the SR-71 couldn't do that, and it was most unstealth plane in the US arsenal.

And what'd I say about the Firestars?:p

The ISS Grand Enterprise sliced through the waves near the ongoing conflict. Duke Ian Davion McKenna sat on the command deck of the Mobile Shipyard en Route to New Hebridea.

"Duke, Satcom just signalled us. We have air combat ongoing."

"Sitrep."

"We have aircraft from the nation Czardas engaging aircraft from the nation The Silver Sky, sector 111-434. We have what appears to be a large... airship on IR and LADAR feeds."

"An airship? As in Nazis and the Hindenburg?"

"That's what sattelite feed is showing us sir. Do you want Awacs in the air?"

"No, if there's combat I'd like to keep my Aircraft out of it. Launch CAG II from the Hebridea, keep them close. If the battle drifts this way, we'll defend ourselves. Jake, Polrep."

The political officer had a soft voice, with an educated accent. He seemed almost bored when reciting what he knew about the various countries. "Current nations are both neutral, though we have far more in common with TSS. I would suggest siding with them as their military far outclasses the Czardasian military... by last report, TSS spent nearly half their budget on militarism where... well, from all official reports Czardas has no military, though obviously they've managed to acquire aircraft somehow, we've traded intelligence information with other nations, and there are active military factories within Czardas, though what they're building we don't know. I can get INTL on it if you wish. We also believe the... airship is theirs. On another note, the two nations... appear to be friends. I don't know why they'd be fighting."

"Colonization does strange things to alliances."

"Indeed. Also, we're still trying to accertain who owns what around here. We don't know who's territory that Airship is in."

"What are our closest assets to that Airship?"

"One UCAV Carrier, Stealth, several submarines, one a boomer, conventional, the other two are attack."

"Perfect, have the UCAV get UMAWACS in the air, and get me a video feed of that Airship. We'll call it Objective H for now."

The political officer smiled softly. "Is this Objective H going to be burning like its namesake?"

"Only if it fires on my aircraft."

And don't except to get that close without being detected, OTH arrays use the 3-30mHz range(All RL stealth aircraft are only stealthed above 30mHz), and don't expect to get closer then 100(40 for sonar) miles from my ships, I have +200 ships at both colonies.]

I don't honestly expect Stealth systems to keep my aircraft from being totally detected, I just expect it to have to get closer before that happens. The ship in question is stealthed and close to the water. The point isn't invisibility but a diminished profile. It will be visible from *miles* away, but the reflection looks like a fishing boat. The aircraft are quite small, and so their radar signatures will appear to be nothing more than a flock of birds. (A flock of birds moving between 200 MPH and Mach 1.5, so most radar operators wouldn't overlook it. They might mistake them for missiles.)

My shipyard is so far away from the "Air Battle" That they're currently under the assumption that it's a real battle. The main fleet is closer to Atlantia, and they're keeping aircaft far away from your sim, so as not to be dragged in in case it's real. I also forgot something, which I'm editing in now.

Imperial colonies of Dornuva

Over the years since Dornuva was claimed, and eventually colonized—its 8 million citizens now beginning a thriving community—its military had grown as well. From the original four legions created for the Dornuvan Guard, that number had grown into eight, with a navy of more than 500 ships, many purchased from the vast industrial bases of Conquest Industries. The Imperium's colonial force was joined by a naval air force of 1,440 planes, divided among the six supercarriers, and a normal air force of 720 combat planes, primarily IF-24 'Wyvern' and IB-69 'Skyfire' fighters and bombers.

With a ready army of this caliber, itself larger than the armies of some larger nations, Dornuva had grown into a strong and well-defended colony, with defenses built along its borders, several major ports, and a number of smaller cities.

Dornuva was within less than 100 km of Czardaian territory, and 120 km of Silver Skyian...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
General Saltz of the 28th Legion was deemed a harsh man. It was a reputation not without basis—during his sixteen years of service in the Imperial Guard he had been a hard taskmaster—but it tended to be exaggerated. Contrary to popular belief, he was capable of kindness. Occasionally even a smile or a laugh.
This would be demonstrated, in fact, when one of Saltz's senior aides came to him with news from the nearby colonies.
Saltz was relaxing in his office, sipping from a cup of coffee as he sat in a comfortable chair facing the door, when that door opened and the aide came in.
Saltz barked, "You—what are you doing here?"
"I have news for you sir..."
"Great, I'm sure there was something so important you had to interrupt me at my work," Saltz said with an edge of sarcasm, face in a deep frown.
"Just this." The aide showed Saltz the satellite display printouts showing repeated frames. Saltz demanded, "What is the meaning of this?"
"Well, sir, it appears that The Silver Sky is mobilizing its military, particularly towards its northern border—near us..."
"Don't Czardaians hold the territory north of the Skyian colonies?"
"Well, yes, sir, but Czardas appears to have little or no military forces stationed around here, thus making them little of a threat. The Silver Sky is slightly more worrisome."
"Czardas and The Silver Sky are allied, aren't they?"
"So it seems, sir. But then there is this." The aide handed Saltz another printout.
Saltz looked over the blips. "Silver Skyian aircraft...engaging Czardaians? This is a ... new development," he said softly, a smile beginning to tremble upon his features.
"I agree, sir. However, there are some ... unusual features here."
"Explain," said Saltz, intrigued.
"For one thing, despite huge numbers of aircraft—over 1,000 on each side are our best estimates—not a single missile has been fired so far. Nor have planes from either group been downed, not even a single one, although there may have been more losses before we found this."
"That is confusing..." Suddenly, and unexpectedly, Saltz grinned. It was a completely uncharacteristic gesture and to the aide it appeared cruel, even a little bit ... malicious?
"Find out as much as you can on Czardas and The Silver Sky. I want the whole of our military mobilized and put on high alert. Send out stealth unmanned recon planes towards this... 'battle', to gather information on what types of planes they have. Also, I want all of our missile silos in Dornuva to be put on high alert. Inform Conquest as well and let's get their equipment running. This one will be a collaborative effort..." Saltz waved his hand. "Dismissed."
~~~~~~~~~~~~

Half a dozen of the tiny, birdlike planes, near-impossible to detect, took off from the roof of the airbase, flying towards the air battle at over 100,000 feet. Far too high to be seen, above the ceiling of most planes, to gather information—pictures, missiles, and so on—of the planes far below. Another dozen are sent out to monitor the holdings of Czardas and The Silver Sky, scanning the ground and sending their findings back immediately to the central base.

Meanwhile, in Dornuva the colony is preparing for its first war, running on bought equipment, preparing for battle. And no mock battle this time.

Ah, whatever, I'll edit that out. I missed the post where you explained the system, I think...Yeah, it was right before you posted your first post, like 2 seconds before.

That's odd. Just a few days ago Doom was cutting me apart with missiles traveling at Mach 7+ that were deemed more maneuverable than his F-78s, which are probably among the top in the world for maneuverability...Well, manuvering at mach 7+ would be nearly impossible, it could be very manuverable, but only compared to another mach 7 missile, this is also backed up by the fact that no SAM or AAM system goes faster then mach 3-5 with the S-400 and PAC-3 pulling near Mach 5-6, and those are the most advanced, frankly unless they are made of Ubermetal most missiles with long range and at hypersonic speed wouldn't be able to maneuver extremely well at that speed. But remember, a missile can always maneuver better then a fighter, but also take in mind that the fighter always dictates the movement of a missile.

Right, let me edit that to make it sound more reasonable. They reached Mach 4+ while diving, not before. While they can sustain that speed for a while, I agree that diving is near-impossible at that speed...

I didn't say I used them, only that I would in a real battle. Let me clarify that.Ah, yes, I see, my bad.:)

Will have a full response up shortly.

Let me clear this up. Any missile that travels at above Mach 5 are usually not very manuverable. If you have seen a clip of a MiG-29 trying to shoot down a F-16 with some missile, you will see my point. The F-16 used the missiles great momentum against it by flying down before taking a sharp turn upwards as the missile neared, dodging the missile without much of a fight. That's only a modern AAM. A Mach 5 missile would have no manuverability whatsoever. It would have too much momentum to stop and manuver around.

Hope this clears your guys argument.

[Station OTH-IV, New Field Island AFB, Colony Pacifica]

Colonel Samson walked towards his desk from the brief visit with Mrs. Coffee, just the thing to start off a night shift, "Damn, wish I could be back home, after me and my wifes little 'session' I wish I could go back for more." said Samson to himself as he walked towards his RADAR station.

He sat down and tooke a long sip from his coffee mug, "Damn, that hit the spot." He then turned his attention towards the display, monitoring anything within nearly 1000 miles from the base northwards, his shift would monitor the other directions.

Over the past few weeks Samson and his co-worker had been put in charge of monitoring anything going in and out of Dornuva, the Banduria colony, nothing out of the usual, miltary and civilian aircraft, nothing out of he ordinary for a colony.

A few minutes later somethings were detected from a known Dornuva AFB, but instead of staying in their airspace like usual they intruded on Czardaian airspace, Samson counted the 6 tiny objects, if it wasn't for the sheer altitude and speed he would have easily mistaken them for birds. He immdently alerted base command who sent out several messages, but not before the other group of UAVs were spotted:

From: Station OTH-IV, New Field Island AFB, Colony Pacifica
RE: *URGENT*Aerial Intruders*URGENT*
6 Intruders from Dornuva, the Banduria colony have entered your Airspace, headed towards mock airbattle, altitude 100,000ft, seem to be UAVs or similar sized craft. Another dozen craft heading into your airspace, ETA 2 minutes, heading south-southwest.
--------
To: Station OTH-III, Comona AFB, Colony Atlantia
From: Station OTH-IV, New Field Island AFB, Colony Pacifica
RE: *URGENT*Aerial Intruders*URGENT*
You got 6 bogeys, apparently UAVs heading for the mock battle, Alti. 100,000ft, should be in your guy's range within a few minutes, suggest you cancel the battle and route fighters for intercept, use of F-133Vs is suggested, we are currently our F-133Vs routing aircraft to intercept other intruders.

Several Hyper Valkyries peel off their CAP routes and head to intercept the UAVs headed towards Pacifica.

[Mock Air Battle]

Brigader General Samuel pulled hard right to keep up with his Dagger target that he'd been chasing for the last 20 seconds, all of a sudden a radio message came over the air waves. "Cancel Air Battle, Report Back to Comona AFB, all F-133s Hyper Valkyries stay in the air and report to sector A-10, bogeys have been detected, you need to intercept, repeat disengage and RTB."

"Damn it!" Says Samuel, commander of the 13th Hyper Valkyrie Squadron, he quickly delivers message to the Czardaian planes highlighting the situation before disengaging and turning towards the enemy UAVs.

News of the Bandurian build up soon reached CINDER-II, generals and admirals met for a 2 hour session, after at least an hour of discussion it was decided that more forces would be needed to ward off any invasion and would be need for the master plan.

It was decided that the 4th Naval Fleet guarding the Marshall colony would be retired from duty in the colonies and return home, half of the fifth fleet guarding Atlantia would also be sent home, however, the We Buy It Fleet in the area would be sent to guard the Isle of Endymion, the 6th fleet from Endymion would be called up to guard Atlantia while the 7th fleet would remain in Pacifica, also, the 1st Naval Armada would be called up to guard duty around Pacifica.

These changes would take place within 4-8 days.

The UAVs [ooc: Thanks, that's the word I was looking for :p] winged off from the formation, collecting information on the lands below and, ultimately, the planes. Six of the tiny birdlike vehicles sped over the mock air battle, sending back live footage of the Silver Skyian fighters disengaging and approaching, their types clearly marked. More footage returned shots of Czardaian fighters and bombers, showing them from above, and configured the numbers displayed into various slots displaying the known types of aircraft.

"So the Silver Sky has about 1700 planes in the air, and Czardas has 1450..." Saltz watched the images of the F-133s, F/A-3s, Daggers, Strikers, and other planes appear onscreen, from what the UAVs and geosynchronous satellites had gathered, with the numbers and stats next to them.

More information returned of the various mobilizations going on in the Silver Skyian colonies, showing approximate numbers of troops, fleets, ships and so on. The UAVs never remained in one place long, and their extensive cloaking devices to prevent being noticed by any but the most advanced systems were all turned on. Many began circling back over Czardaian and Skyian airspace, returning to Dornuvan bases...

Colonel Gramm watched to workers with their small transports with a raised eyebrow, he pointed at them and said to the Captain, "You're going to move several 30 ton and 15 ton bombs without the proper equipment?"

As if on que another container on another truck opened, several big and very strong transports, crews rushed to them and turned them on, they began to use the lifts to carefully extract the weapons from the containers.

"You're going to get these with the bombs, and plans for them, they're the only lifts strong enough to hold these weapons and un/load them into planes."

[Silver Sky Air Space, heading towards Banduria]

Several dozen F-133Vs Hyper Valkyries rocketed upwards through the sky, they were tasked with intercepting all UAVs over Pacifica and Atlantia, although their own radar couldn't see them very well they were receiving uplink from either OTH arrays or AWACs.

As the Hyper Valkyries neared the UAVs they locked-on, they pilots maveured in close and took several pictures with of the UAVs with their on-board cameras.

A message was sent to Banduria:

*URGENT*
We have detected several of your UAVs over our air space, we have intercepted them and unless you can give us a good reason we will shoot them down. If you attempt any more acts of incursion into our territory it will be seen as an act of defiance and they will be shot down on sight.

Good Day.

The personnel controlling the UAVs back on base pushed them higher to nearly 120,000 feet, but to no obvious avail...as the message from The Silver Sky proved when it arrived.

The UAVs were immediately recalled, although the harder-to-detect geosynchronous satellites were not. The following carefully fabricated message was sent to Skyian headquarters:

Official Message from Dornuva Colony Station #24, Dornuva, Banduria

We apologize for the unintended incursion into your airspace. We had temporarily lost control of the UAVs while testing our equipment, and they have been recalled. This accident will not be repeated. Once again we apologize for any trouble this may have caused you...

All completely false, of course. The Imperium would have to try a different strategy. Sending in spies seemed to be the best alternative—trained infiltrators who would enter Skyian borders, preferably in little-protected areas, such as borders with their Czardaian allies...or from the sea. As civilians with carefully forged papers.

...Just to ensure a policy of good neighborship, of course. No malicious intentions....

A Civitas Americae SR-71 was cheerfully flying around the tip of the new colony, Westamerika. Thanks to a rather small channel between Westamerika and the Isle of Endymion, they didn't even need to leave Civitas Americae air space in order to view most of the Isle. While they didn't have any hostile intentions, it was always helpful to know what forces one might have to come up against.

Temporarily lost control? Wow, you lost control and your UAVs flew nearly 500 miles across our airspace? You think we would not detect your satellites parked above our colonies?

I think not. You vastly underestimate our weaponry and detection system. The order has been given out to destroy every single UAVs above ours and Czardaian airspace, any other planes will be destroyed as they enter the airspace if they do not respond to hails and orders to leave.

We apologize for any trouble this may have caused you.

Apparently the Bandurians were a little less then concerned with the large cloud of very very small objects and satellites that they parked their satellites into. Oh well, the fault of the commanders

GPALS Constellations and "Brilliant Pebbles" were brought to bare on the Bandurian Satellites. The GPALS satellites targeted the satellites and uplinked information to the "Brilliant Pebbles".

Brilliant Pebbles, small AIM-9 sized anti-satellite-ICBM missiles, and GPALS were a system pioneered by The Macabees, which in turn was based upon the US proposed GPALS system. Target information was uploaded into the missiles computers, which in turn activated active homing.

They fired in rippled waves towards the enemy satellites, 10 for each.

[Isle of Endymion]

The military installations on the island and AWAC planes detected the SR-71, which was easy considering even the soviets could detect SR-71 over flights of their land.

AWACs and RADARs were ordered too highlight the enemy SR-71 and any plane the ventured too close to the Isles airspace, when the radar would spike the plane, if it was equipped with half decent passive detectors, would warn the pilots that they were being tracked. This was nothing beyond standard military proccedure, also, patrols near the border were stepped up, planes, upon detecting enemy planes were to fly straight for it and then before they reached the border to turn and fly parrallel up the border with the CA planes.

On the ground troops prepared for a possible war, ships patrolled the channel to the colonies, shore defences were prepped, border security, even with Czardas were stepped up.

The tiny planes were brought back towards Dornuvan airspace fairly quickly once the motion of the Skyian planes had been detected, but it was a bit too late. The missiles hit, destroying all of the planes. However, they had already transmitted their information back to home base... it was kind of a pointless attack that could only spark a highly destructive war.

The Silver Skyians had apparently been unconcerned with keeping peace among the colonies, and knew little of how the planes transmitted information....

[High Earth Orbit, Geosynchronous Earth Orbit]

Apparently the Bandurians were a little less then concerned with the large cloud of very very small objects and satellites that they parked their satellites into. Oh well, the fault of the commanders

GPALS Constellations and "Brilliant Pebbles" were brought to bare on the Bandurian Satellites. The GPALS satellites targeted the satellites and uplinked information to the "Brilliant Pebbles".

They fired in rippled waves towards the enemy satellites, 10 for each.

[Right, so I was supposed to know your airspace was full of satellites. :rolleyes:]

The Bandurian commanders were not foolish enough to send out completely defenceless satellites. As the 'Brilliant Pebbles' missiles streamed towards the satellites—in a clear act of war—rotating lasers mounted on the satellites swept across the path of the missiles, destroying them immediately. Their small size made them easier for the lasers to explode them, but still a few of them got past. The lasers swept across the other direction, destroying the few that remained.

In return, the satellites targeted all of the GPALS and 'Brilliant Pebbles' within a specified radius and immediately fired volleys of missiles. Kilometers from their targets, they would detonate, releasing an EMP that would knock the satellites—and any other missile systems—out of the sky. While the missiles would detonate 10 km from their targets, the EMP extended for a 20 km radius around the point of detonation... Traveling at hypersonic speeds, the missiles approached their targets in formation.

Soon it would become evident to the Silver Skyians that the reason the Imperial colonists had launched their satellites into the middle of the Skyian formation was because they knew they had little with which to be concerned...

"This way" said the captain
He led teh Skyian men across the road leading into the bunker, along a side street past three Hydra Mk1 Tanks parked in their maintainence bays and over to a massive tower manufactured out of what appeared to be a single fused peice of black stone, they walked into a vast luxurious lift with a guard in dress uniform, who activated the lift. The lift rose on and on, a glass wall showing a view back towards the Skyian border across the beutiful green farmland.
Finally the doors opened, and they stepped out into the mess.
It was open planned and five floors tall, at hte top off duty officers smoked cannabis and tobbacco, below that were three floors of tables and small bars, then at the bottom, covering nearly the entire expanse of the bottom floor was an absolutley enourmous bar, dozens of dumb waiters expanding out in all directions.
The view was spectacular, the glass walls providing a vast view of the jungle to the south, teh graslands to the northa dn teh river caracella wandering across the plain in the west.

Moving among the tables were young beautiful local women, wearing only bakinnis in the tropical temperatures, in hte central building column on hte floors below the one where the lift arrived were a vast set of soundproofed suites whos use was evidenced by the stream of serving girls walking hadn in hand with hundreds of officers of various ranks.

[Space]

The Bandurians had vastly underestimated the amount of weapons that The Silver Sky kept in space.

The enemy missiles were easily detected, pulse microwave lasers mounted on the satellites fired towards the enemy missiles, each hit would destroy their electronics and render them useless, the rest were engaged by brilliant pebbles.

Due to the vast distance, over 200km, from HEO and GEO, the missiles were easily intercepted, though a few dozen brilliant pebbles were knocked out of action, a few missiles managed to get to 20km and detonated knocking out a f more BPs, but the GPALS due to their hardened nature were unaffected.

Several other satellites, which were developed as part of the first ABM defensive scheme, made themselves known. Several were missiles satellites, they fired volleys of missiles towards the enemy satellites, unlike the brilliant pebbles these were larger and had a hardened nose that protected it against all forms of microwaves and lasers, along with that they contained a HE-FRAG, this was tungsten ball bearings arranged around a HE warhead, upon detonation the ball bearings were propelled towards the enemy satellites.

Using the pulse microwave lasers the GPALs and other dedicated laser platforms began to engage the enemy satellites, targeting weapon systems, and electronics. Also, 40 brilliant pebbles for each enemy satellites were fired.

The missiles rocketed through space at hypersonic speeds ready to deliver their deadly payloads.
