Sportscenter: Everyone was shocked when the Big Ten kicked out Northwestern and brought in the Single A team of Stony Brook. If that wasn't enough they had to play teams such as USC, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Miami. No one expected anything from this team but not even The Almighty himself could predict this. They went UNDEFEATED. Stony Brook ran over everyone they played to finish out the year averaging 58.6 points a game. They finished the year 14-0 and are 1st ranked. This weekend they will face 13-0 Texas Tech University. But Stony Brook is dangerous Their number one wide reciever, Khalfani Alleyene was named Heisman winner and no suprise because look wht he did in high school:

Standout wide receiver for Orange HS in Orange, N.J. . . . caught 47 passes for 965 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior to earn first-team All-County, first-team All-Area, first team All-Conference and Group Three All-State honors . . . also named to East-West All-Star Game . . . made 21 catches for 398 yards and seven TDs as a junior . . . earned All-Area honors . . . .also lettered in track.

The kid can run a 4.21 Fourty Time and is very consistent. This is unfourtunatley his senior year and it will be a joy to see him play in the pros. he's not their only weapon though they also have Leonard Wright III who is a very dangerous corner boasting an amazing 52 tackles and 14 Interceptions with an unprecidented 12 Sacks. He's amazing already and he's only a freshman and looks spectacular. But there are more spectacular players on this team.

Luis Altimiranda is a running back who has a 4.3 fourty time and also has a knack for breaking tackles. So far on the year he has 2,039 yards rushing 987 yards recieving and 203 broken tackles. He's a great competitor and only a freshman as everything points in the direction of a Stony Brook win.

Sportscenter After Championship Game:

Stony Brook wins in a blowout against Texas Tech final scor 78-10. The MVP of the game was Luis Altimiranda who rushed for 287 and 5 touchdowns. The game was an easy victory for Stony Brook which ends their Cinderella season.
