Hatarian/ITD Controled Hatarian borader.

2,000,000 Hatarian Troops have been sent to The Canal Region that seperates Hataria from ITD Controled Western Hataria. the area of Western Hataria was taken Illegaly by ITD in 2004, and the ITD Military had caused the deaths of thousands of Hatarians, leading to a Embargo of ITD.

Grand General Ming Asakura said that the Troops are being sent there to Protect Hataria from Terrorists that might Use ITD Hataria as a base for Terror Attacks.

"How many?" inquired General Seth Rayne, leader of the occupation forces in western Hataria territory.

"Our best estimates are at 1.8 to 2 million infantry." replied Rayne's chief officer.

Rayne took the cigar out of his mouth, placed it in the ash tray, which was riddled with several other half used cigarettes and cigars, "Send up a drone, if it is engaged, have it crash and self destruct here," said Rayne, pointing to a point on the map.

"Why there, sir? That zone is just civilian." queried the officer, "Why not have the drone crash and kill a few of the Hatarian soldiers."

"Believe me, blowing up this spot will far more damage." nodded Rayne, "be sure to use this model drone, too," slipping a section of paper to the officer.

"This model?! But this is..." exclaimed the officer.

"Yea, I know." smiled Rayne.

A few minutes later a loud blast was heard from the missile construct near the main barracks, a drone was being fired. As the drone reached it's designated cruise height, its wings spread out and its on-board computer began taking telemetry readings of the surfaces it passed over. The drone passed over the canal and began taking photographs of the Hatarian mobilization.

Within the debris was nestled a small canister of the drones special cargo, a aerosolized and compressed canister of the IG-virus, a nasty and infectious disease which reanimated living tissue and zombified immediately anyone unlucky enough to breath in the airborne virus. The canister opened, the contents in a long stream of gas, which slowly fell to the earth... the error damaging the drone would soon be revealed to the Hatarian government.

On the far side of the canal, sat General Rayne, watching patiently.

"You can't be serious about letting this get out of hand, General?" asked the officer.

"They won't make it across the canal, zombies are afraid of water. Besides, they'll find plenty of 'meat' over there to feast on." replied Rayne.

"Sir... should we not report this to the home office?" asked the officer.

"Later, let us wait to see how this turns out. Until then, muster the soldiers. Prepare for whatever attack these Hatarians are aiming to throw at us." sighed Rayne.

"Yes, sir." nodded the officer.

Definition of Godmoding
1) Saying what happens to other people's stuff.
2) Refusing to take any losses. Or lose. Ever.
3) Having übertech armies that are too large, etc.
4) Having your nation’s geography to your extreme advantage

Flamebait: Posts that are made with the aim of angering someone indirectly. Not outright flame, but still liable to bring angry replies. Flame baiting is a far more subtle and covert action; it is an underhanded tactic that is designed to provoke a response from another player. It's in the same context of trolling but with flamebaiting it's just the one person.

Now, if you want a zombie RP, that's different. Set it up as such, and this sort of thing is perfectly acceptable (and I'd be willing to join in, though the personal armor of my soldiers makes it reasonably certain that zombies couldn't do squat against them).

If Hataria had stipulations he wanted in place for this RP, he/she should have laid them out clearly at the beginning, so as to avoid a snafu like this one.]

Actually, it is impossible with any tech. For one thing, virii simply do not work in a fashion that would allow it. Second, virii are incapable of imparting an animating principle (which is what we mean by the term soul). Absent an animating principle, it cannot actually do anything. You can cause muscles to twitch with an electrical stimulation, but you can't use that to make them self-motivated.

Hataria, I am going to come right out and say that you need to stop tossing those words around. Just because they disagree with you and criticize your actions does not mean they are automatically 'Flaming' you or 'Trolling'.

Halbergardia is being perfectly reasonable in his response. And I would agree with him on the PMT nature of the weapon. When it comes into science fiction, one can start messing about with aspects such as reanimating mindless zombies with freaky retroviruses.

Secondly, you did not stipulate the no-WMD's condition at the beginning of this RP. I have no doubt he would have complied with the stipulation had it been mentioned at the proper time, rather than just after he activated it. That actually makes YOU come off as a little godmodish due to ignoring enemy attacks.

It is not fair to those you wish to challenge that you set such conditions arbitrarily. And ITD would have every right to ignore you for your actions.

And also, please don't make such massive fusses about percieved godmods. Typing "IGNORED" in fontsize 7 and making pun-like names involving the word 'GODMOD' reeks of taunting. That does reflect upon you.

Now I shall reiterate that you should not automatically lump this under 'flaming'. I was one of the few people that said you should be given a break. I've seen real improvement thus far, but you shouldn't be so... defensive.

While that makes for a great movie, it's completely impossible with the actual nature of virii and dead bodies (among other things, virii can't infect dead cells).

OOC: The fact is that, while many other weapons are not in RL but can be scientifically proven, this 'zombie' virus can't be. Thus, it may as well be labeled as 'fantasy tech' and not even PMT (since PMT stuff, even if they are not feasible as of right now, are based on various scientific and engineering principles), and you can't force someone to RP with them if they don't want to RP with fantasy tech.

Intent is difficult to prove over the internet, so mods will work under their best assumptions.

Note that posts of opinions you disagree with does not automatically equate with trolling. Disagreements are expected, as long as they are done in a civil manner. Max Barry has made it clear that he welcomes all opinions in civil debate, even those that are highly unpopular or minority-held. [Bolding mine.] Make your case without the invective, if you want to avoid banishment as a Troll.

Trolling is also is used to refer to making obviously silly topics that people nonetheless will reply to, despite all common sense. Don't feed the trolls.

OOC: First off, Hataria shot down the drone IC when he knew what it carried beforehand OOC; if he had an issue with the virus he should have addressed it ooc before he continued the role playing and shot the drone down. Second, there has been no ill effects role played, his losses are his to role play and if there aren't any, then so be it. I am a post modern nation, and from my understanding, Hataria seems to be a future tech nation (he does role play space wars) or borderline future. The IG virus has been around on nationstates for at least a year, several nations have used it in the past, some even role playing outbreaks and such. I never flamed him, not once. If he doesn't want to accept this virus, we can either start over or abandon the role play.

OOC: The IG virus is not a godmode in my opinion. It can be controlled and contained. Ask any nation that has dealt with the virus. My nation has its own International IG Virus Control Center (IICC). Its purpose is to stop outbreaks of the virus in ally nations. There is also a vaccine available that my nation has produced.

OOC: Even I had a zombie virus in my country but nothing a few well placed strikes can do. Hell Ive had two types of zombies. The resident evil kind and the Doom 3 kind with weapons. Its really nothing. It can be dealt with easily if you know what you are doing.

IC: The Hatarians soon sent a Message to Nikolos The Great for help in Stopping the IG Virus. The Hatarians had Naplamed the area, just incase of a Bio Weapon. But Hataria was going to do something that would doom The enemy Forces in Western Hataria.

For Months, The Hatarian Government had started giveing out Flu Shots to everyone, but the Shots were in fact the cure for a new type of Flu, one made by Hatarian WMD Sciencets, a Mix of The Deadly Bird Flu and Ebola. The Virus was soon named The Hatarian Flu.

The Hatarians were outing Missile on Missile Launchers. The Missiles were armed with a Bio Weapon Warhead with the Hatarian Flu.

The Missiles, which were Cruise Missiles, were soon Launched to Western Hataria, Revenge is hell as the Hatarians always say.

With the news of ITD's Bio attack, Serena soon went to The Imperial Senate to Declare War on ITD. "Today, Our Nation was Attacked by The Evil Nation of Itinerate Tree Dweller. This COWERY ACT will not stop us from Takeing Back what is rightfuly Ours! I Declare War on ITD!" she said, and also Added this Warning, "If The Cowery people of ITD DARE do another Bio Attack on us, We will Start Anna Kalee!" Everyone in the Senate gasped, Anna Kalee was Asakura Hatarian for "Mass Death Fight", TOTAL GENOSICDE!

576 CT-24 MBTs were soon at the Canal Zone, along with 500,000 more Troops, Ready for War.
