The Neuvo Rican Admiralty, Monrovia, the morning before the declaration of war...
Admiral Medani slammed the door open and ran into the room, in the centre of which was a long table surrounded with high ranking officers in the Neuvo Rican military. "We have it here, ladies and gentlemen, the Khan has given the go ahead for un-restricted warfare on the Brink - he sees it as neccesarry to the expansion of the nation".
"I am to command the task force" he continued... "I will be needing your help though Air Marshall, I need you to get on line to bomber command, start bombing the Namibian coast, and give them good fighter protection..."
----------------------
Two hours before the declaration of war...
The 7 B-2 Spirits of 19 Sqdn Bomber Command sped down the Skeleton coast, whilst far above, satellites relayed co-ordinates of targets. One of the bombers was targeting Walvis Bay, with three massive EMP-Type 13 Low Observable Magnetic Pulse Warheads, whilst the others targeted radar stations, air bases, ports, barracks and other military installations with conventional weaponry.
Two miles north of the city, the aircraft offloaded their deadly load, before wheeling around with their F-22 Raptor escorts, and speeding back towards home, leaving Walvis Bay at the mercy of the massive Neuvo Rican attack force, already moving towards the Namibian coast.

Sorry Rica for the lateness i didnt see post until now.
The country was young, small, and without allies. Only a number of years had passed since the new government based on freedom and equality had been established. It now stood face to face with its first enemy, its first challenge. It would be a battle between democracy and dictatorship.
Farrell, now in the last 2 years of his final term, stood silent in disbelief. The reports were slow and first a mere trickle, but slowly that trickle became a flood. An unknown force had struck along the coast concentrating on Walvis Bay. News stations across the country reported the destruction, the utter collapse of communities, military installations, and naval fortifications was stunning, a disturbing image to say the least. There was no warning of the attack, not so much as a second glance. It was, needless to say, a direct act of war, a deliberate attack on various military installations and personal headquarters. The strike was precise leading to the conclusion that this was premeditated for some time. The true reasons behind such a catastrophe were still unknown, yet it was time to send out an immediate message for help of any kind. Farrell knew all to well his countries size compared to the rest of the world. Deeming from the quickness of the strike as well as the surrounding populations, the United States of Brink would surely be outnumbered but over 2 billion people or more.
The failure to recognize and evaluate the attack lies upon the back of not only Coastal Defense High Command but the lack of advanced functional radar equipment. With the creation of the democratic government, last on the minds of the politicians was military equipment and subsidiaries. With that in mind one must not rule out the complete lack of competence on the high command overlooking the coastal defensives. The failure to deploy the fighter squadrons stationed along the coast to intercept the bombers, led to the immediate sacking of all commanders in charge. To call the coastal defensives, “defensives” is kind to say the least. As before the Government was not all concerned with the military as it was with infrastructure and stability. The coast was makeshift and primitive but would be the first line in the obvious assaults that were to come.
Farrell would soon be addressing congress, as well as the country, to explain the knowledge which they had (which at the moment is very little) and ask for a declaration of war. With that being said the military was already on the move. National Guard units were being called up as well as sent to the bomb sites for relief. Thankfully the enemy had overlooked once vital piece of information, the Brink main naval fleet, The September Fleet, was not anchored and suffered no damages. It was off on diplomatic relations around North Africa, now steaming its way back home to defend its homeland. Still two other fleets, the 17th and the 19th had been badly beat, the 17th more-so than the 19th. Naval command deemed it fit to combine the remains into one fleet, the 18th Carrier Strike Force. Although shaken the Brink’s air force, the largest of the Brink Military services, remained for the most part intact. The air force was the pride and joy of the Brink Military. Already the 111th Fighter Squadron was in the air with a combine total of 15 F-22/Raptors and 21 of the Brink’s own Se-9 NightAngel. The NightAngel was strictly air-to-air fighter, a jet hunter, if you will. Painted all black with advanced night fighting techniques it could match any fighter to date. It had two sets of forward swept wings and a new system called “ANAS” or Advanced Night Aerial Systems. It carried a payload that rivaled the F 22’s. Among its arsenal was the new “AngelDust”. It fired multiple rockets that were not heat seeking but locked on to the opposing enemy jet’s computer systems and signals. Once within range it deployed another set of rockets which exploded into a wall of explosives. The new system had not been tested in combat but was highly effective in training. Following the 111th was the 119th Fighter-Bomber Squadron which contained 10 Se-9 and 15 F-117 stealth bombers. They had located a large fleet of the coast.
Since Brink had a very small standing army it would have to depend on the navy and the air force until it could get its self established for a successful defense. Young Brinkians were already lining about to join the armed services. War had begun.

Mission Control, Liberia...
"Excellent, infrastructure has been knocked out to a sufficient extent"...
A lieutenant entered the room with a folder containing some bad news:
"Sir, we have just seen the Brinkman september fleet returning from North Africa through satellite imagery..."
"Damnit, we need to stop it..>"
After hours of debating, a decision was finally come to. Three bomber squadrons with a heavy fighter escort would launch a missile attack on the returning fleet. This attack would hopefully stall the fleet long enough for two high seas fleets to return from patrol in the southern atlantic...
--------------------
The 16 TU-160 bombers took off, along with another 40 Saab JAS39 Gripen at another Liberian airfield. Within minutes the large air group was over the ocean.
After an hour in the air, the September fleet came into radar view. In another five minutes, the TU-160s were in missile range - each of the bombers had picked a large ship to offload missiles at...
The TU-160 leading the formation opened it's bomb bay, which had been converted to carry a rotary cruise missile launcher. 6 NR-Type 14 Heavy Anti shipping missile sped towards the fleet which was still over the horizon at Mach 3. The other bombers offloaded their missiles - bar one, which was blown out of the sky by an enemy ship launched rocket almost immediately after an ECM failure. The JAS 39 fighters each fired a single Exocet missile at the fleet before wheeling round to to defend the bombers from the carrier based assault that would surely come...

In Namibia...
The long range assault around Swakupmond and Walvis Bay had so far been a success. Now, Marine units began to land, under light resistance from the defending forces. Soon, hovercraft units started to unload armour onto the beaches. Explosions were still going on beyond the beach, as a rolling barrage from Battleship out at sea began to move inland...
Major Ramirez, of the King's Angolan Marines, was leading the marine troops, who began to attack the Suburbs of Walvis Bay - if they could hold the beach for a day, then the army would move in behind.
The marines ran into trouble in the Walvis Bay subrubs, heavy enemy resistance was causing them to stop dead in their tracks. Until an A-10L delivered air support, they marines could go no further...

The Neuvo Rican MOD, Luanda...
"We should open a second front, land troops in the north... on the Skeleton coast, and push inland towards Tsumeb..."
"Our troops perform well in the desert - you have 4 divisions to open your 'second front' Matenda".
-------------
The army troops for the southern offensive were en - route to Walvis Bay, the next morning they would land in support of the marines. In Luanda 4 more divisions mobilised to land on the Skeleton Coast.

Walvis Bay
The invasion had begun full bore, Rican troops were pouring inland almost unscathed save local resistance. For the moment Rica owned the skies over the battlefield. This would change due not to the overwhelming air superiority of Brink fighters but the sheer fact that their fighters were carrier based and would need to refuel. This would become a slight problem if Brink’s two fighter squadrons did considerable damage to the fleets stationed just off the coast. The 9th Infantry would not make it in time to prevent the beachhead from being secure. The best they could hope for was the destruction of the fleet funneling the troops in and the disruption of the Marine landing by heavy air power. Still the 9th split their forces and moved into Goanikontes and Welwitschia Plains. The hopes of holding the two cities were slim and high command understood this. The plan was to stall the landing force long enough to allow the 20th Airborne ,10,000, strong to constructed fortified positions in and around the Khomas Highlands. Once entrenched it would be almost impossible to rid the mountains of the defenders thus trapping the landing force on a very small beachhead.
The forces engaged at Walvis Bay were grouped into a division to make command easier. Two more stationed in Botswana were on the move to aid in the defensive efforts. Plus 2 more were being called up from National Guard and new recruits. However, these units would take some time to get into the action. President Farrell urged citizens not to take up arms fearing swift repercussions by the enemy, although none were reported yet. Still this did not stop the locals from pouring fire onto the enemy than disappearing into the houses.
September Fleet (North Africa)
The Fleet was buzzing with activity and calls over the loudspeakers. Lights of every color flashed illuminating the decks and holds of the bustling fleet. Quickly the carrier-based fighters were off the decks in the attempts to intercept the missiles inbound. 20 F-35 Joint Strike Fighters from two carriers were joined by 15 F-18 Super Hornets as they circled above the fleet. The AEGIS systems on every ship pinged multiple missiles that were headed at mach 3 towards the massive fleet. The VLS were beginning to come alive as the AN/SPY-1D picked up the multiple targets. The fleet housed 20 cruisers capable of the AEGIS system; it seemed very unlikely that the fleet would sustain much damage as a result of the bombardment. Five F-35s along with all the Super Hornets were ordered make a counter-attack to eliminate the bombers that fired the missiles than join with the ground-based fighters that were already en route to engage the enemy fleet. Nonetheless, this put a hamper on speed at which the fleet was hoping to make. They had been stalled but only for a moment.
(Rica you never replied to the two fighter squads engaing your fleet)

Onboard the Acheron, the Neuvo Rican flagship - things were starting to get serious. The Brinkman forces had an air superiority of sorts, and now two squadrons were bearing down on the fleet. Whilst AA defences on the ships worked their best, the boats were left mostly at the mercy of the aircraft.
4 Destroyers in the outer reaches of the fleet had fallen foul of the aircraft which were already listing and were bound to sink. In the centre of the fray, the Khan, the fleet Battleship had taken a direct missile hit and was in bad need of repairs. An engineer squad was taken by helicopter from the advancing army fleet to speed up the process. To the north, the aircraft had hit 5 frigates as they left the combat zone. One of the ships exploded immediately, whilst two more smouldered - giving time for their crews to escape. One of the ships had been blown in two by the sheer force of the explosion.
Their anti aircraft missiles had taken down three NRFAA F-35C and a chinook full of marines but were otherwise unsuccessful. On the carriers, more powerful NR-35 (Neuvo Rican versions of the MiG-35) aircraft began to take off. The aircraft were more than a match for the enemy aircraft, but this didn't stop two of them being blown out of the sky before leaving the deck of the ships.
Once airborne, the NR-35s released deadly loads of NR-17 'Boomslang' missiles - which lock on to communications between aircraft, block them and strike towards them. Whilst over the fleet, the NRFAA aircraft were close to home - and supplies, and despite almost ten being destroyed by strong enemy resistance the NR-35s were beginning to hold the fleet - although they had been shown that the Brinkman airforce was a force to be reckoned with - and much more powerful air units would have to be shipped from Angola.

The outskirts of Walvis Baai...
"Sir, we captured these locals, they had been firing at green team..."
"Kill them, we don't have the facilities to take prisoners"...
Things were at a low point early that morning - the army still hadn't arrived. At about mid-day, the first units started to trickle in. These added a deadlier edge to the Neuvo Rican offensive - now there were better equipped, fresh troops arriving in large numbers. These troops stormed into the city, under heavy covering firce from marines, and under command from a Stormtrooper major, specialised in urban warfare. The distinctive explosions of FN-2000 rifle grenades could be heard up and down the city, in the face of fierce local resistance...
Four Marine brigades, which had been relieved by the army fell back to the beach. Most rested, whilst some manned deadly Mistral Positions - firing repeatedly at enemy air units. The next morning, they would spearhead an assault toward Swakopmund.
In the north four divisions began to land on the Skeleton as part of Operation Phaethon - the opening of a second front in the north. The desert trained troops now started to march towards Tsumeb.
Losses had been too high on the second day:
Marines: 930
Army Troops: 2034
Destroyers: 3 Sunk, 1 Sinking
Frigates: 4 Sunk 1 imobilised

The Neuvo Rican Admiralty, Monrovia...
"Damn, looks like the missiles were unsuccessful... I think we're going to have to do this the old fashioned way... Where are the two fleets we recalled from the south?"
"They are 1300 miles west of Cabinda - they are preparing to engage the enemy fleet"...
-------------------------------
Aboard the Dalman a typhoon II class submarine in the depths off west Namibia...
"We've received orders from Luanda - we are to launch a missile strike on Windhoek"
"Tube 16 is being readied!"
"5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Fire!"

September Fleet
Missile Impact! Two Ticonderoga AEGIS cruisers had been hit; however, only 1 had been sunk. The ship’s bow had exploded during a direct hit and the ship sank to the murky bottom in a matter of minutes taking the entire crew save just a few with it. Also a Frigate had been hit and was slowly settling to the bottom. Only a handful had been killed and rescue operations had already begun. The Fleet steamed on closing in on the enemy fleet while it was still alone and vulnerable. The fighter squadrons were making their way back to the ships. Eight Super Hornets were lost and one F-35 was damage as the result of unsuspecting resistance from the carrier fighter defense that scrambled into action. The Fighters had inflicted heavy tolls on the enemy fleet which now seemed to under strength to put up a fight against the September Fleet when joined with the 18th Carrier Strike force.
Windhoek
“President… you are in danger sir.” A high squeaky voice trembled. A missile had been launched from an undisclosed location off the coast. The evidence reports show it was a submarine attack. No city was now safe from missile attack. Sure, the United States of Brink had Anti-Ballistic Missile defenses, they were still only prototypes and the elapsed time of the launch versus the strike was too short. Simply put there would not be enough time for the missile to be intercepted. Evacuation had begun but with the time limit the city would sustain heavy casualties. Luckily, if you’d call it that, there were no significant military gains in such an attack. Still it could be put to great use. Although in war such attacks can be justified, it would still play a major roll in propaganda not only for the country but in international affairs as well. Also reports of executing prisoners as well as civilians combined to make a pretty effective argument as to draw help from the international community.
September Fleet
The Fleet was now well within fighter range as well as effective missile range. Since the attack on the capitol it was even more important to retake the coastline to prevent such devastating attacks. Almost every ship within the fleet had cruise missile launch capabilities and now they were going to be put to the test. A volley of 13 “ThorHammer” (A modified Version of Macabee’s JackHammer) lunched into the air heading straight for the enemy Carriers which had become the main focus of all Brink vessels and aircraft. The ThorHammer was a highly advanced missile that not only came in at an angle that the VLS system could hardly handle but was a prototype stealth missile. Regardless it was still in early states and once close enough it could be seen quite clearly. Another 7 “Auric” T-7 Missiles had been launched at the remaining ships still seaworthy. The nickname Auric came from the speeds at which the missile’s traveled: mach 4.5. The amount of heat generated caused the missile to be lined with thin layers of gold. Three sub-hunting CH-99 took off from the decks of the Carrier, Lakota. With the location of the submarine that had launched the missile attack on Windhoek unknown they now set out to release sonar’s all along the coast with hopes of tracking the deadly sub. Meanwhile the aircraft resupplied, refitted, and rearmed; it would not be to long before they were in the air and on the attack. Along the southern coast of the attack the 18th Fleet was setting out to sea, its aircraft leaving the flight decks. The Fleet concentrated its attacks the on enemy fleet now being zeroed in on by the September Fleet. They would need to overwhelm its anti-missile capabilities. This fleet launched another 10 “ThorHammer” missiles.
North Namibia
Two divisions of National Guard units now took to marching north to secure the Northern beachhead. This attack was unexpected and the landing could only be disrupted by airpower, not stopped. Their goal was to reach the banks of the Hoanib River than extend their line anchoring its western flank along the Etosha Pan thus cornering the second front. In all likelihood they would get their fast but static defensives would have to wait. Rican forces were in the process of capturing the coastal cities of Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. Only local resistance stopped them. However the 9th had taken up positions and had been preparing solid defensive networks in Goanikontes and Welwitschia Plains. Now, with artillery in place, they began to bombard the attackers before they even occupied Walvis Bay. They were now in prime position to hold off a few assaults and allow time for the 20th Airborne. Another two divisions were being formed and fitted in Botswana.
Southern Coast
The 18th Fleet’s fighters were to rendezvous with 10 Fe-5 Heavy bombers over the first beachhead and unleash a devastating barrage against the forces still landing. With the fighter cover from the enemy fleet wavering it was the perfect time for such an attack.
Neuvo Rica

Walvis Bay...
The 4 marine brigades now prepared to launch a stabbing thrust out of the beachead. Swakopmund had recently attracted the attention of the Neuvo Rican battleship, and was smoking in the distance. The Marines embarked on newly landed APCs whilst others manned mobile Avenger AA positions. The troops set off, encountering light resistance, and moving quickly towards their target with a new found ambition. The city of Walvis bay was a complete warzone, Neuvo Rican troops had taken most of the city, and now Crusader gun positions had been established in amongst the protection of rubble and were pounding what was left of the enemy in the city, who were struggling to hold off the torrent of troops.
Which was when the bad news came, an enemy air formation was heading for the fleet - with bombers. The fleet had lost some of its air defence in the previous attack, but Marines had established Mistral Launchers on the decks of carriers, providing deadly air protection to the centre of the fleet. As the specks on the radar drew closer, NR-35s were desperately scrambled - to protect the beachead, which had a large number of air defense sites itself. The NR-35s main advantage over the enemy planes was speed, and the aircraft charged towards the bombers, releasing missiles and raking the centre of the squadron with fire.
--------
North namibia
The Neuvo Rican troops outnumbered the Brinkman National Guard 2 to 1, but the enemy were well defended. The Neuvo Rican MOD had sent 2 more divisions to the area, along with engineer support, which was establishing an airfield in the regions. Of the 4 divisions already in the area, two established a defensive front opposing the Brinkman forces, whilst the other two (motor rifle) divisions wheeled round to the north, in an attempt to outflank the defenders, who had dug in deep - high command could see this was going to be a problem...

IC:
North Namibia
The two National Guard Divisions, the 312th and the 313th, now extended their lines from the Atlantic Coast along the Hoanib River to the Etosha Pan. The Rican forces were making good ground but with no major roads to travel and movement in daylight hours becoming suicidal it would be some time for them to make a flanking maneuver. This vital time would allow the hastily activated 315th Division to secure the Army’s flank at Ondangwa. With that being said both beachheads were, for the time, secure or better yet isolated.
Swakopmund
Local militia forces were being overrun by the professional Rican Army at Swakopmund. Their desperate but brave defense was vital to securing time for the Army and Airborne to construct defenses against the oncoming attack. If the Rican Army continued to be held up it would allow the Airborne to reinforce the Army units stationed in Goanikontes and Welwitschia Plains. Also the two National Guard units in Botswana, the 400th and the 401st, would be given more time to activate and deploy to the two beachheads. Even better news was upcoming. With the influx of young eager men and women to defend their homeland a planned 4 divisions were to be trained and armed in the near future with even more after that. All USB needed was time.
To further this theory was the supply chain of the Rican Army. From the outset it had puzzled Brink Military Planners. Why attack from the sea? With only one fleet, which would eventually be battlefield ineffective, to supply the attacking force and provide air cover it seemed that even if the forces couldn’t be defeated with the sword they would be unable to complete their mission due to lack of supplies. It was becoming evident to Rican High Command that something had to be done to supply the assault force. Since Brink had numbers in the air it was going to be a difficult task that could be too late to fix.

Neuvo Rican High Command...
"The Brinkman forces are putting up a good fight - we should send more"
"No, the war is lost..."
"Shut up - you ought to be shot - look we have over a million troops in reserve, send in two more army fronts, and re-direct the two southern fleets to Walvis Bay"
"Yessir, right away"...
-------
The Walvis Bay beachead was being battered, but the Professional Edge, superior firepower and sheer numbers were getting the upper hand. Bombers were moving to attack the beachead, but over 300 Mistral and Starstreak SAM sites had opened up before the bombers had come within range, missiles thundered into the bomber formations. They had clearly not expected such heavy AA resistance, as the explosions on the ground were very few and far between. An enemy bomb hit a fuel dump on the south flank of the beachead, and the explosion killed 200, an artillery battery went up in flames -and a lucky shot gutted an empty LCP. The Neuvo Ricans could replace all the units they lost - replacing bombers and crews would be much harder for the Brinkman forces.
Over the previous few days, three more marine battalions and two mechanised infantry divisions had come ashore. Most of these units struck into Swakopmund, in a furious and merciless assault, that took the troops right into the middle of the city.
In Walvis Bay, the troops had captured the city, and were desperately consolidating power. The Troops now instated a hearts and minds program of sorts, and started helping locals rebuild homes. This was only on the West Side - in the east of the city, Neuvo Ricans built defences and mopped up the last of enemy resistance. Tanks were now rolling into the city, life continued as normal, but they could not escape from the ominous thuds, of NR navy cannons firing at Swakopmund, completely levelling the city
-----
The supply problem was sorted easily, on the northern front, where a substantially larger area of land was under neuvo Rican control, engineers had set up a supply base with a harbour, from here it was shipped to the southern fleet under heavy protection by a group of Qahir corvettes. Although this allowed only for small amounts to be shipped, the route was secure from air assault by powerful systems on the boats and the corvettes there was also effective sonar, radar and satellite systems to provide ample early warning from any sea attack - on the Namibian coast, more powerful vessels were never very far away to lend a hand. Army High command had also set an auxilliary fleet to ship emergence supplies directly from Angola, under the protection of a high seas fleet 3rd class, to prevent piracy, or an attack from what was left of the Brinkman navy.
On the northern front, the Neuvo Rican Kustjagare had set up coastal batteries, to protect the harbour, whilst around that - the Luftwaffe had set up large numbers of concealed SKyguard and Avenger anti aircraft systems. The supply base was well protected, but an all out attack could possibly break it. Engineers now began work on an airfield - it would be hard, as most airdefence usually reserved for this was over at the Supply base, but the airfield was in range of some of the missiles there. It would be little more than a dirt strip with a few hardened aircraft shelters, but it would allow the NRAF to move more powerful types into the region and eventually gain air superiority.
-------
In Angola, Two more army fronts were stirring - they would soon be shipped to the Northern front, to make a massive offensive southwards to link up the forces. Far out to the West, two southern atlantic patrols were moving on the offensive...

OOC: Not to be a jerk but there are some holes in your post that I hope you‘ll address after I say this.
1) “What’s left of the Brink Navy?” As of right now I believe I have a larger naval force in the area and if not it still rivals yours.
2) In general you move to quick. A harbor should take weeks to build not a day. Setting up defenses, airports, and activating two Armies doesn’t happen overnight.
3) You say you fixed the supply problem by sending supplies south via sea. However in-between your fleet and the northern beachhead is the September Fleet. Also where did you get those escort ships?
4) The bombers are a Brink modification of America’s B-2 Spirits. They travel at altitudes of 50K feet using the latest in stealth technology. A few hastily set up anti-air is hardly going to have an effect.
5) If you are trying to win over the hearts of my people is just isn’t going to happen. If you look at my government: Political Freedoms are a world benchmark, economy is strong and my civil freedoms are excellent. We are wholly democratic so all the power is with the people. Plus you invaded are homeland for no reason but that of imperialism. You destroyed their homes and lives and killed civilians. So please that is not the path you choose.
Like I said I don’t mean to be a jerk but I want to have a fair realistic RP
Also you still havent adressed the barrage of high-class missilies aimed at your fleet from both directions.

It was official, peace talks had begun. An odd war it had turned out to be, it was over about a week after it began. It claimed hardly any Brink soldiers save some of the navy. The battle was fight between Rican professionals and desperate pertains from apocalyptic cities such as Walvis Bay. The true battle was fought in the air and out at sea. To the Brink people it would be known as the 7 days war with only two major battles. Along the skeleton coast no battle actually began, just a standoff. Just outside of Walvis Bay the Brink army lay in weight along the highlands for an assault that got bogged down in Swakompund and Walvis Bay by bands of locals. The quickness of the war had to be credited with a number of things. The lack of thrust from the Rican army out of the beachhead wasted time which was essential to such an assault. Lack of supplies lines after the navy was unable to secure a safe route against the September Fleet contributed as well. Yet the Rican army had near 1 million men able to reinforce, why not use them? The Rican government had been on the prowl looking for land when the bought large lands in the Middle East soldiers were needed over there. With the army spread thin the troops had to be recalled. Nevertheless you cannot discredit the Brink military or the Generals involved. The speed at which defenses were constructed was a true sign of the effectiveness of a well organized yet small military. Although these troops hardly saw an action because the assault was over before it truly began. It was the navy and air force that won the day. Early they had gained superiority over their foes and crippled supply. With peace talks underway a cease-fire had been called. Using this time the Government asked all locals fighting or trapped within the embattled cities to withdraw into the safety of the Brink forces. Meanwhile every took a sigh of relief.
United States of Brink

Officially on December 8th the war was over. The governments had come to an agreement of sorts. The Rican government would withdraw all troops in the United States of Brink and pay 4 billion dollars for compensation. The United States of Brink would cede Juan De Nova Island to the Rican’s as a minor trade. Nova was a small island about 4.4 miles all together just off the coast of Madagascar. Having been recently acquired and than neglected due to the war it was easy to give away. Still most citizens didn’t think it was worth it, they felt jibbed. Although this feeling presided all the way to President Farrell he was eager to see the war end and claim victory for his country. Nevertheless there was still a battle to be fought across the country in Zimbabwe which now drew the attention of the entire army. The regular infantry from the western front was relieved while the airborne units remained in place. Raven’s Rangers were sent across to preside over the withdraw while two divisions were still being activated from the 5 originally allotted. One infantry division was sent into Zimbabwe and was set to be in Plumtree by tomorrow morning.
