Kraven Conflict Peace-Talks

President Dent stood in the Parliament building, running his hands over the smooth mahogany desks. As he sat down in his chair and pretended to read through his speech notes, the doors swung open and two men walked in. The first was a soldier, though not from any Branch he recognised. He put the thought to the back of his mind and focussed on the second man.
He was dressed in a dark suit and a long open coat, walking with an air of command and control.
"President Ford Dent, I am Dr. Lee Arthur and I have been appointed by the Cabinet to oversee the negotiations. They wish for you to return home immediately, there is a convoy waiting outside."
Dr. Arthur walked right past the President as he said this and sat at the desk at the head of the table. As Dent turned and strolled away, the Doctor opened his briefcase and studied a dossier on the current situation.
All Nations Involved in the Kraven Conflict,
You are invited for peace talks regarding the Kraven situation as soon as possible, as we are sure that we could come to an agreement on this tense conflict. There is no further need for loss of human life, and our aim in this is to reach a compromise that reflects which way the war is tilting.
If you too wish to seek a beneficial solution to this incident, then you shall abide by the following conditions;
1) Your single unarmed Ambassador will arrive in The Imperial Raven by private air transportation as soon as possible, with no more than eight personal security personnel.
2) The security personnel will wait at the Airport while the Ambassador is taken to the Imperial Parliament via armoured convoy, escorted by a special branch of the Imperial Military.
3) Your Ambassadors will conduct negotiations in a peaceful and orderly manner so as to reach a mutually beneficial conclusion as fast as possible.
4) The treaty, once signed, shall be carried out without hesitation and be enforced for as long as stated.

The Kraven Delegate, a Reichmarshal from the Kraven Defense network, His private Vtol Took off, hugging the land for as long as possible before taking off well out of Enemy fire... all around him the sound of exploding missiles and the hammering of flak cannons rippled through the hull of his craft like a stone into water...
He listened intently, it was the sound of battle, it was what made the Corporation strong, it was what the Corporation lived for, the fools who attacked us do not know that this is how the Corporation works, how it lives, Even as their fighters roar over head, the Citizens of the Corporation make new bullets and guns without disregard for their own lives, hundereds of thousands of bullets were being made per hour in the Factories, Hundereds of Flak shells, Anti Air Missiles, all sorts of Shells, massive CDB's... all at a much faster pace, this was what the Corporation lived for, Its Economy was booming, Reports comming in of Military Production quoatas meeting new highs...
The Reichmarshal reflected on it, They had enough ammunition and weaponry to kill every citizen in every AKA nation twice over...
On board, his personal Body guard of 8 Sardaukar phase 4's... they sat in perfect silence, in deactive mode, there were several blinking lights indicating that all systems were functioning and they were on standby...
It wouldn't be long before they'd arrived at the Imperial Raven Delegate talks...
It wasn't something they'd want to talk about, Peace and all of its concepts, but if they could swing it in their favour... All the better...

Dr. Adams stood as the Reichmarshal entered, and shook the Kraven delegate's hand. He was quietly relieved that someone had bothered to send an ambassador, and knew it to be a matter of time until the rest arrived.
To his right a wall made of flatscreen monitors was showing the latest footage from the Kraven Conflict. To his left he could see smoke rising from either the Industrial sites or battle-grounds of the Kraven Corporation. The Imperial Raven and The Kraven Corporation had shared a border for as long as their history recalled, but it had never been a friendly relationship.
This would change, as Dr. Adams thought, when this conflict is settled and the negotiations are over he would be in a very powerful position. His personal future was his secondary concern, however, his primary being the sudden loss of trade through The Imperial Raven since the war errupted in their neighbours.
It was in everones best interests to secure peace.
Back at the Airport, a small team of soldiers escorted the Kraven Phase 4 Sardaukar into a spacious holding area. Though the room was monitored and the door was securely locked, the eight soldiers would be left unattended until the negotiations were over.

The Sonic Cruiser touched down, after a flight of a few hours. On board was Kurz Weber, the Civitas Americae Minister of Foreign Affairs, and 8 Mithril commandos. As usual, they were clad in the new, and rather expensive, powered armor that had recently been developed.

"Peace Talks indeed! What an idea if this were that simple anymore, however though The sheer dissarray of the supposed alliance attacking Kravonika and it's Assets were so grossly unorganised meaning that there were little other choice than to sue for peace, After all what else are we supposed to do? We after all never did anything other than defend Xirnium, a pity really but after all peace must be had, it is only civil after all." Suprainister Denteth Tolion reflected leaning over the strategy table depicting the assault or the excuse passing off as an assault on Kravonika, The war room deep underground was a myriad maze of activity however this particular prjector table held great interest for him, he balked at the seer incompetence of their supposed allies, and evnied Kraven their allies were far more organised. Then the inhuman images flashed in front of his eyes, unbidden and unexpectedly, His face a total mask of shock and horror, with this his envy evaporated like a playground puddle in a heatwave.
"Despite Prodigous and almost ungodly output with such lack of organisation as this a successful war cannot be waged, Suprainister you are right in your Anaylsis however though previous peace talks with Kraven have been documented as monumental failures, though it would be best if we could withdraw the Kahanistanians Xirnumites and ourselves from this war at least," the words of IXION, the cyberspace assistant and recent invention of Novacom Arms, cooed from a terminal nearby, at the table diagrams and charts anaylsing force compositions and strengths of the 2 sides, the odds were not favourable, then again there were plenty of designs on both sides that had no place in a true war, pipe dreams are designs too far ahead of their time, and as such not meant for the battlefield they were deployed on.
"yes indeed Ixion, Colonel Kvanotijay you and 7 Elite Enforcers will go with Foreign Minister Hugoro Sarestus to these Peace talks, above all else at the very least withdraw ourselves and closest allies from this war if possible, Xirnium however is not to be sacrificed in the interests of our own peace. if peace is to be had for us alone that it is not acceptable. At best try and end this mournful and tragic conflict in which their can be no true victor merely the mournful souls wandering through the wreckage of all they hold dear, wandering to the sypmhony of misery and the acompniment of tears." The Colonel salutes his eyes watering at such deep and profound words and marches out of the war room.
"one other thing send this message to the Xirnium High Ecclesiarchy, My Xirnium friends, we have sent a delegate to the peace talks, we think it is in both our own and your best interests to negotiate peace, although the victory in forcing the Kraven fleet away is great, the Alliance against Kraven outside of the war in Xirnium is poorly organised and would more than likely lead to the destruction of all of it's members if allowed to continue, even after this there would be Minimal damage to Kravonika, therefore at least a temporary peace is in order, at least to get organised." He finishes there, the thought of the nesscessity of such a message pains him greatly, but it was true, it was a war that could not be won the alliance was a shambles and could only result in the complete destruction of it's members without any real damage if any actual damage done to Kraven. His shoulders which bear the wight of a nations heave a sigh as he turns from the table and walks back up to the elevated area where his commanders awaited to give him an update of the situation, he hoped that the news contained the Alliance actually getting itself in gear but of course he had a feeling such hopes were futile.
Several Hours later, A Parralax Transport and 4 of the Prototype Elite Hijir take off from a secure facility bearing the Colonel and the 7 Elite Enforcers as well as Foreign Minister Hugoro Sarestus, all heading towards Imperial Raven in the noble cause of peace for all or none.

The white jet slowly pushed its way through impermeable dark of night. Below it tiny islands of light danced before the onslaught of darkness. Ambassador Mathew Wyatt slowly thumbed through a booklet containing information about the crisis and the convened conference. Diplomacy had been attempted already, and he had found that these Kraven dogs could not be negotiated with. Either way it did not matter, one must always strive for peace.
“Seatbelts sir,” chimed a pleasant stewardess who he was not too proud to say he did not know the name of. She turned to Wyatt’s escort, then decided against talking to him. He, but much more aptly, it, was a Royal Legionnaire. Better known as Spooks, to the few that knew of their existence. Tall, lanky, and almost inhumanly proportioned, merely laying eyes on them caused a dread in most people. They were relics, to be truthful, created by the Emperor to serve as his elite soldiers. This one, known only as Marv, was eighty seven years old, though he hardly looked it.
The plane began to descend with grace, rocking side to side in some light turbulence. Within minutes they were on the ground in The Imperial Raven.

An Imperial Official met the Civitas Americae ambassador as the plane landed. He wore a thick black coat which concealed body armour; and a dark grey berret which was pinned with a distinctive golden symbol resembling a raven. With him were twenty soldiers cloaked in the same manner, with an identical berret. They also wore an armoured mask with red goggles, and they too had the golden raven. Another twenty soldiers were visible in the distance, standing like statues with an assortment of Assault Rifles, Sniper Rifles and Carbines; assigned by job role.
"Greetings, Mr. Weber, your escorts are to await for your return here while negotiations take place. You are free to contact them at any time, though all communication in and out of the Imperial Parliament will be monitored. Please, come with me."
He opened the car door for the delegate, and stepped in after him. One squad mounted up in each of the two APCs, and the convoy set off towards the Imperial Parliament.
The Official spoke into an intercom built into the driver's seat in front of him.
"Dr. Adams, Sir, our second guest has arrived."
He turned to see forty more soldiers step up to the runway, and another long-coated man take his place. The process was almost mechanical, completely faultless, and the next guest was prepared for.
The Parralax Transport after much time in the air begins it's final approach and starts to land at the Imperial Raven Airport, the Hijir continue on slightly and as the Parralax comes to a stop they touch down in a protective formation.

A transport helecopter with the markings of 'AMF' could be seen leaving the area where the negotiations were to take place, causing some to wonder what was going on. Rumor was already circulating through Automagfreek (and without a doubt the rest of the world) that Azrael, known as 'The Devil's Son' would be in attendance. Many did not believe that the son of Damien Dreadfire would meddle in diplomatic affairs, but having a taste for the theatrical he decided to go.
His arrival was not announced per his request, but upon being questioned as to the nature of his arrival, he stated bluntly:
I am here on behalf of Automagfreek....and The Kraven Corporation. I will speak when appropriate, but will spend the duration of this meeting in observation.

The Thunderbird that set down at the negotiations was painted in the white and green of Pale Rider Arms, a crimson badge signifying it as a Red Samurai envoy.
Stepping from the VTA, the nameless Samurai Negotiator looked around and scowled. Yammering for peace when the battles had just started... These are nations of cowards. Still, perhaps we can wheedle some concessions out of them...

General Jack Horner, over-all commander of ExForCom, was selected as the best delegate for this situation, since he knew the most about verything that was going on with the battle and he had the best track record with NOT trying to kill the people he was negotiating with out of the entire Terran Defense HQ. His personal Dropship brought him quickly to the designated landing site, and he was soon on his way to the meeting.

Kurz Weber stood up from his chair, and paced, as was his habit when in thought.
"Well gentleman, I think we can put an easy and quick end to this. We propose three simple terms:
1. All nations signing this truce shall immediately cease hostilities with one another.
2. All forces currently deployed shall be granted safe passage back to their homelands.
3. Any attack upon a signatory party will be the start of a new war, and alliance obligations pertaining to the current Kraven War will not be obligatory for the new war."

"You've heard Kraven's conditions. Now here our ours."
"One: All AKA military forces shall immediately withdraw from any Kraven/Kraven-allied nation's territory and immediately proceed at best speed back to port."
"Two: All AKA nations will swear to never again take up arms offensively against the Consortium nations."
"Three: All AKA troops are to leave the nation of Torontia and pay triple reparations for the damage caused by their foul and unprovoked attack. In addition, their leader shall be released into Axis Nova custody."
"Four: Ten percent of your collective female populations are to be shipped to Kraven Corps immediately for induction into the Capitol Police breeding program."
"Five: Under no circumstances may any member of the AKA ever launch, maintain, deploy, or otherwise use any form of ortillery or laser relay points ever again, except those needed for the maintenance of an SDI system. Anything capable or intended as a ground attack weapon is strictly forbidden."
"Six: All AKA nations are required to pay the bills for ammunition expenditures and repairs on all Kraven-allied forces incurred as a result of this conflect."
"These are our demands. In exchange for these, we at least are willing to swear to a cease-fire and not render your collective navies to the bottom of the oceans surrounding Kraven."
"The Brettonian Government will stand firm behind Axis Nova's peace conditions. Additionally, we are including one of our own:
A statue of Chancellor Donner, constructed of marble, and posessing a height of no less than sixteen meters, shall be erected in the national capital of all Anti-Kraven Alliance member nations. It shall be kept in good, orderly appearance by the respective member nations' government, utilizing government personnell and government funds.

OOC: This was meant to come after Kraven's first demans, but jolt went crazy.
Ambassdor Wyatt visibly frowned at this proposal. It lacked a term he desired and contained two he did not. He slowly twirled a pen in his hand, surprisingly casual for the situation, and far less intimidating. All these men putting on shows, Christ, child’s play.
Wyatt stood up and briefly adjusted his tie looked over the grim men surrounding him. Slowly a massive smile broke across his face, “Why so serious, its only a massive war that will cost millions of lives!” He knew this would be poorly received but it was important to work the delegates in such subtle ways.
“While I believe the majority of the points stated by my friend,” he gestured to the Kraven delegate, “Are correct, there are a few I wish to discuss.”
First: There shall be no removal of this event from historical record. In addition to being a unenforceable term, as many nations not involved in the conflict or this meeting will actively use it in foreign history classes, it will only increase the chance of more people invading your nation, The Kraven Corporation. For if we know not of history, is it not bound to repeat? I can only believe its removal is for reasons of pride, and those are not reasons at all.
Second: To say nations of the AKA alliance may not have relations after this war, is, frankly put, unnecessary. You are already protected from war by the rest of the treaty, and this seems only there to cripple out nations. We are hardly desperate yet, don’t jump the gun.
Third: We believe another term is in order. Perhaps if agreed to, we may agree to the previous two. All those subject to genocide, and punishment for “thought crimes” will be freed and sent to foreign nations. If this is agreed to, not only will we pay The Kraven Corporation reparations, but 10% of our military budget for ten years. We will also pay a small fee for each and every refugee that comes to our shores.
As far as Axis Nova's demands go, they are rejected in every form of the word.

OOC: Given that Kraven is the one heading the Kraven Alliance, I'm going to assume that his is the only official terms of truce that can be set by the non-AKA. And your fourth point is just plain silly Axis Nova. Also, are those costs per unit or overall?

When the last of the delegates arrived from the airport, Dr. Adams stood to greet them. He was calm and in control, and with all the ambassadors acting respectfully and not a single firearm in the room he thought little could go wrong. Not that a firearm would be necessary, he thought as he looked at Azrael, He is as much of a warrior as his father.
"Welcome, delegates from across the globe. It is in our best interests to sort this inconvenient mess out as soon as possible." He took out some notes from a case, "The nations in, or supporting, The Consortium are currently within their rights of sovreiginity to support and/or partake in such actions. Therefore they shall propose their draft treaty as a collective to the Anti-Kraven Alliance. The AKA will then review the proposed treaty and we shall negotiate on anything that seems to be overly harsh. While discussing this, it would be wise to remember which side is in immense military superiority."
With a click of his fingers four aides stepped from the windowed wall of the room. They looked incredibly similar to each other, and although not identical it was obvious of their laboratory origins. The Imperial Raven had been increasingly interested in the use of clones for high-trust jobs, and this was possibly the highest yet.
"They shall wait on your every whim, delegates, I would introduce you to them but they have no names." Said the Doctor as he sat down to oversee the negotiations.
"The Pale Rider Arms bill, to be payed by the AKA, is as follows:
Prefabricated Bases, labour and installation: 100,000,000 USD.
Red Samurai Deployment: 100,000,000 USD.
Fuel and Ammunition Costs: 10,000,000 USD.
Loss of Life: 10,000,000 USD.
Prices for the return of hostages taken from Kahanistan are to be negotiated."

"These Terms are Interesting... Infact Most of them are Almost Agreeable... However, It comes back round to this" The Reichmarshal spoke...
"The Thought Criminals, They must be executed, and we must be perimitted to Carry out their Extermination, Only until Every last one of them have been utterly annihilated from existence, Then the Corporation can stand down its Extermination Camp, We cannot allow these Animals, these Inbred heathens, these out right criminal psychopaths to be released into the International Community, even Before they would have left Territorial waters, your crews minds would be poisoned with lies, turning your crew against your own nation and its leaders, We stand by this Resolution, The Thought Criminals must be Exterminated" He Continued...
"We do insist however that your Nations do not engage in any further diplomatic relations after the war, We still feel that you will use this period of peace as a means to reconsolidate your losses and begin the attack a new, this is a Safety precaution for our Nation.
"Other than that, The Treaties are Acceptable, As for Axis Novas and Brettons Treaties, they are to be considered as well, The Corporation, Axis Nova and Bretton are the three Nations that lead the Consortium in its solidarity and its clear thinking... Thier Proposals Stand"
The Brettonian Combat Obervation Units have compiled a list of our losses as well, which are as follows:
One BA-104 Arbiter bomber completely destroyed: J$2,700,000,000
Repairs to BA-104 Arbiter bombers: J$1,370,250,000
Complete destruction of Army Group K:
20 A7V Peacemaker multi-legged tanks: J$420,000,000,000
158 A4G Partisan bipedal tanks: J$340,490,000,000
3,100 AS-004H Stahlkörpe assault suits: J$6,820,000,000
Total loss of personnell: 3,582
Reparations to the deceased: J$1,791,000,000
In total: J$769,101,000,000
Without a wholesale agreement to the terms provided by all members of The Consortium, any finalized peace treaties are invalid.

Wyatt smiled at this response, at least for most of it.
"I believe we can make a final decision on whether these thought criminals are truly as dangerous as you say. Bring a cross sample of them to this very meeting, let us see them. If they are the bloodthirsty criminals you make them out to be, we will leave this was and pay full reparations. However, if they are not what you say, then this war may drag on for quite some time. Do not attempt to deceive this council, as we have ways of... finding the truth."
"We do see the need for the suspension of relations between the AKA nations, but not permanently. Perhaps for a period of five years there shall be no relations, but following that we are free to do as we please."
"As for the proposals of Axis Nova, if you want any chance for this war to end, you will tell him to withdraw them all and think carefully before he speaks again. I believe they may have sent a... nit wit... so to speak, to represent them. As I can not see where these rash demands are coming from, due to the facts within your repremation demands, it appears you have lost far more than us."
Hugoro Sarestus had remained well out of the parading by both sides, "As we have only engaged Kraven forces in the defence of Xirnium the only peace we need make with is indeed Kraven itself, therefore Brettons and Axis Nova's 'fanciful proposals' are not applicable, the Matter of the Thought Criminals are of no concern to us, we understand the need to war against those who would split the nation whatever you do with rebels is your choise, we do however urge you o make sure you target the though criminals and try to make sure only they are punished, we've had to learn ourselves punishing the innocent creates more rebels then it stops," at the end of this statement is a small string of Novan Language with the term Admiral Kukonois said in an extremly derogative tone,"However though on the relations front I offer a trade, 100,000 Captives from our war against our own rebels in exchange for the waiving of that point," The rebels crimes in their service to Admiral Kukonois had earned them death however though turning them over would eliminate a particularly unpleasent memory, it was a worthwile concession and he seriously hoped peace could be had.
Admiral Kenzal had suggested if an agreement could not swiftly be met then a show of force was in order, he had of course been over-ruled but the genie was out of the bottle and the idea in people's minds. "Reperations for the battles at Kravonika should be proportional to the ones who did the damage, after all Novacom Forces have only acted defensivley at Xirnium and have been no-where near Kravonikatherefore there is no need for reparations, if so wished we would however offer a research collaboration to the effect of replacing the design of your Mobile Anti Air System." The Veteran Negotiator leaned back steepling his fingers exuding calm and confidence.

"Very well, We will Arrange for transportation or a specimen From Camp 18"
"It will take us some time, But for now, We agree that your Nations will not Have any relations between the AKA for a number of years, 5 years we feel is acceptable, Every week your Embassy's will need to submit a report to The Consortium for appropriate checks to ensure the Restrictions are Being held up"

"We Will take your Captives, we will make them wish that Rebellion had never crossed their minds, Be sure Justice will be swift, Their Internment in the Kraven Mining Complexes will ensure none of this happens again..."
"As for the Mobile AA Systems, Replacing the Design will not be needed, However We are pulling out from Xirnium, and you can rest assured hostilities between our nations will end as soon as our Fleet is in International waters."
"By the by, I was authorised to offer a number of research collaborations, and since your Mobile Anti Air System design had suffered heavier losses, we though it wise but as you wish, Admiral Kenzal had been so ordered to not pursue once your forces have completly evacuated Xirnium Territory, however though several units of your Capitol Police have not withdrawn and even now continue to assault the defenders in Xirnium," The Minister pauses taking a sip of a strong Novan Blue tea, before continuing,
"We do thank you for taking these rebels off our hands, Admiral Kukonois' followers have hounded us since world war 2 outright exterminating them would be extremely, shall I say counter-productive in putting down this 80 year rebellion of his. I do wish to emphasise that the offer of a rsearch collaboration is on the table, it is not after all merely restricted to your mobile anti air but to a wide array of things, We would however like to ensure a lasting peace between the nations involved in the Xirnium conflict, Novacom has assigned a large fund for reconstruction efforts, perhaps Kraven would as a gesture of good faifth assisst in cleanup operations of mine fields and the like that surely wil have been sown during the confict, we do however have one request that would be preferable to be in any treaty, that while your occupation of Ankaristan is legal however violation of our Territorial Waters in reupllying your forces there is not, our Territorial Waters Extend a great deal, and as Ankaristan has not seen fit over the past 60 years to negotiate otherwise the offer to adjust them was taken off the table 10 years ago, We would request that Kraven transportsw and forces would instead go AROUND our territorial areas." OOC: Note Detection ranges in my territory are extremly limited, there is a reason why I use jamming technology so much hehe, Years of having to hone methods of averting it to allow my own equipment to even operate instilled a deep understanding of how to stop equipment from working in the first place :P
"I suppose we can make concessions, however though I have been informed that a convoy is en route to escort your forces, Admiral Kukonois' Geurillas are not to be underestimated, and the Seas in Novacom Territory are not to be trifled with, they make the Bermuda Triangle look like a lightning storm, in future however contact us before entering our waters, recent policy changes aside, a decade ago the patrol vessels would have shot first and then asked questions later," he smiles at this, remembering days gone by though the days of isolation had had to end, though he was worried in the event a storm wipe out the Kraven flotilla, it was an unfortunate wrinkle to come up, after all when he'd been briefed the Kraven flotilla was outside of Novacom Waters, well it couldn't be helped. "and as for the collaboration perhaps yes at a later time." pausing again stiring the large cup, Strange Novan caligraphs engraved all over the surface.
"I would reccomend alerting your fleet to the incomming escort, as well as to be vigilant the Geurilla's have some extremly potent submarine's at their disposal and the nature of our territory can at any moment render what little detection range the jamming allows to be reduced to nothing. though now that we have come to agreement perhaps we should make it official." He looks round, the nature of the Xirnium conflict should have ensured that 2 seperate treaties were to be drawn up, he didn't care for the look of the Axis Nova delegate and had no desire to put pen to the same paper as him, such demands even with the intent of making concessions would be unreasonable by any standards, if not then a seperate agreement could be drawn up quite easily.

"Very well, I shall Sign this treaty between our two nations now"
The Consortium - Novacom Treaty
The Following will be put into immeadiate action upon the Signing and Completion of this Document.
1 - All hostilities between Novacom and The Consortium will end.
2 - There will be a 3 year period of Non Agression between Novacom and The Consortium, At the end of this period, The Consortium and Novacom delegates will meet once more to discuss further Terms and engage in Further Diplomatic Relations
3 - The Kraven Fleet Operating in Ankahistan will be perimitted to continue its operations and use Novacoms Territorial Waters, Under the Guidance of an Escorting Fleet
[signed] Reichmarshal Horgh, 1st Commander of the 121st Secret Police Battalion, Kravonika
The Reichmarshal then passed the paper over to the Novacom delegate to sign, Hopefully the other members would follow suit and see that the Corporation is willing to make peace...
As long as it was on Our Terms....
Hugoro Signed the treaty both in English and in Novan Caligraphs, afterwards he levers out a small stamp of the Novacom Emblem and makes a firm impression at the bottom right of the treaty,

After Signing it he runs a small sensor over the document creating a duplicate The treaty was beneifical to both sides and that was what was important, The Minister inwardly smiled Kraven had no idea what it had let itself in for, Admiral Kukonois' forces would dog the Kraven's forces as it ever Dogged Novacom's, A pity that the ongoing efforts against the rogue admiral seemed to be ineffective the constant losses inflicted on his rebel forces didn't seem to do ANYTHING! though that would change with the recent discovery of one of his facilities, and the Sword of Damolces would strike the Admiral's base of course he'd survive, he always did. Wyatt stood up and motioned towards the door, he was about to make a private phone call requesting something very, very dangerous from The Infinite Crucible for the purpose of finding the truth. One of the clone guards approached him and escorted him from the room. Once down the hall, and in a nice dark nook, he rang up The Infinite Crucible. The guard made sure he didn’t do anything funny.
“This is Wyatt… I need to ask something of The Inquisition, and before you say no…”
“I don’t like the sound of this.”
“Look… I need… its for peace… we need… The Emperor…”
“No.”
“Its of…”
“No, do you have any idea how dangerous he is!”
“Yes but…”
“We would be bringing one of the most dangerous beings every to defile this earth, to an neutral country!”
“Yes, but think…”
“What if he got out, how many more nations do you want to fall under his, no its, heal of oppression! What Kraven does, is nothing, I mean nothing compared to what… that monster did to those who he ruled!”
“But, he will find the truth!”
“Aye, that, but is the truth worth the risk?”
“I think yes…”
“Hmm… I have known you a long time… I think I may be able to arrange something…”
“Thank you”
“Every fucking precaution that is possible must be taken, I mean the whole nine yards nine times over!”
“I know!”
“Also if the government does not want him there, he aint coming, tell them what they may be getting themselves into if they accept.”
“I will.”
“Erhm… so who is the subject anyway?”
“A victim of the genocide…”
“I thought we were trying to save them?”
“We are.”
With that the two men ushered their goodbyes and Wyatt returned to the meeting. He had a request of The Imperial Raven, a very dire one.”
The Imperial Raven
08-11-2005, 22:59
As Wyatt sat back at the discussion table Dr. Adams met him with a smile from ear to ear. He raised a hand for silence and got it instantly, and then raised the other to reveal a sleek, silver mobile phone. He dialled a number and activated the speakerphone, before setting the object down onto the desk and taking his seat.
The sound quality was impressive, but it was the actual sound that mattered. Over the next few seconds Wyatt's entire conversation was replayed to the group. Faint footsteps from the floor above were heard in the awkward silence that followed.
"Mr. Wyatt, I believe you have something to ask of The Imperial Raven... and your answer is yes. As long as... your guest... follows our security procedures then... 'it' is most welcome to partake in the negotiations. If security is an issue, it has just been solved with the arrival of three more Regiments exactly two and a half minutes ago."
It was such calmness, composure and tact that had allowed Dr. Adams to climb the political ladder so fast, as well as his seemingly natural understanding of modern technology and several doctorates-worth of degrees in Psychology. He had climbed very high indeed.
"If you have anything else to say," He said, with a sudden edge in his voice, "Then you shall say it at this table in front of these people. Leaving this room is no longer permitted until the end of negotiations."
Civitas Americae

Kurz Weber stood up as he prepared to speak.
"We are willing to accept the terms listed so far, with a couple of provisos. First, of course, is that payment of debts will be divided equally amongst the members of the AKA. I don't believe that this needed to be stated, but there it is. Second, the treble damages for Torontia will only apply to nations that were ever in a period of hostilities with Torontia. Civitas Americae itself never declared war on them and understood the conflict with them to be seperate from the war with Kraven.
We assume that Axis Nova's fourth demand was made as a joke given its barbarity and complete lack of logistical feasibility; it is rejected out of hand and no matter what.
As for Bretton's demand, we ourselves lack sufficient quantities of marble to undertake such a project. It's a sad quirk of our geology. If you choose to donate sufficient quantities however, we can do so, or we can do it out of fake marble made to look like the real thing."
The Infinite Crucible
08-11-2005, 23:31
Wyatt frowned, he had expected they would have overheard the conversation, but not actually played it to the whole party, not that it mattered. He had merely left in order so a “small” request did not slow down the party as a whole.
“I apologies for the privacy, it wont happen again, but I don’t think you understand what you may be getting yourself into, you could have a million men, and the Emperor would simply pass through them, killing them all…”
“If the delegation would allow, I shall digress, to explain… The Emperor.”
“The Emperor is not a physical being, rather an acute and very powerful split personality. I know this sounds, crazy, but there are things in the cold north of our country that have no explanation.”
He continued, “The split personality forms when the subjects body is… infected… with a parasite, of sorts, we believe a fungus. It pushed through their body causing paralysis and massive genetic mutations. This splits the mind asunder, creating, The Emperor.”
“Now here is where is passes beyond all knowledge of science. The memories of The Emperor, are contained in the fungi’s massively complex DNA. It seems that just before the subject dies from the infection, all that the split personality has learned and experienced is genetically coded onto the DNA.”
“With this, the personality is able to… maintain millennia of experience…”
“It is the cruelest, most manipulative, and brutal being I have ever seen. We will need your best trained biohazard teams to ensure that not a single spore is able to escape, along with some trained personal from out nation, who know how to… deal with him.”
“I know this sounds crazy, but dark and terrible things stir in the annals of our history… and you, my friends, may get to meet one.”
OOC: So it may sounds crazy, but it has been my idea for my ruler since the start of NS. It is also outside the bounds of science, and is heroic tech, but it may add something to the RP. If it is unacceptable OOC just say you wont take the risk IC.
OOC: Yeah, that REALLY delves too far into FT (fantasy or future, take your pick). That and the fact that if you DO bring in a giant super-sentient fungus, I'm most assuredly taking a sample back with me to play with and quite possibly sell on the open market.
The Infinite Crucible
09-11-2005, 00:27
OOC: --snip--
OOC: The fungus itself, is not sentient, merely the split personality. Also, taking it back to your nation would lead to the complete breakdown of your government, as controlling The Emperor is a fool's errand and another being of almost similar power was the only thing that actually manage to subdue it. Even if you did manage the epic task, it would merely destroy itself, rather than be used.

"We hold the advantage at the moment. You are not in a position for fair bargaining-- you may either take the terms that are offered, or this war can continue and we shall obliterate your naval units off the coast of Kraven."
"We shall NOT accept these terms put forth for Kraven to sign. They are not in our best interests and give nothing to us."
"Do not expect us to stop there, either. This is your one and only reprieve from from swift and just retaliation. We suggest you do not waste this opportunity, but if you should choose to do so in spite of the fact, the Consortium will be more than happy to oblige in your collective eradication.

RE: An End to Hostilities
While recognising your nation as a vile scourge which must one day be utterly cleansed from the surface of this fair Earth, the High Ecclesiarchy is also desirous of peace in the interests of the international community. We offer you the following treaty, with the greatest possible contempt that we can show for the abhorrent filth that is the Corporation, in the hope that you will see reason to end this pointless bloodshed:
Treaty of Nonaggression Between Holy Xirnium and the Kraven Corporation
The High Ecclesiarchy of Holy Empire of Xirnium and the High Command of the Kraven Corperation have reached the following agreement:
ARTICLE I
Both High Contracting Parties agree to desist from any act of violence on each other.
ARTICLE II
The present treaty is concluded for a period of two years, with the provision that, in so far as one of the High Contracting Parties does not denounce it 6 months prior to the expiration of this period, the validity of this treaty shall automatically be extended for another two years.
ARTICLE III
The present treaty shall be ratified within the shortest possible time. The agreement shall enter into force as soon as it is signed.
We feel such an end to the war is more then fair, and none of these points are up for negotiation with the most august High Ecclesiarchy. Furthermore, we refuse to deal with your slave-allies as a matter of honour, and are only dealing with your own demonic nation with the greatest of misgivings. We have no intention to attend these "peace talks" in person, such a blasphemous deed would demean our sacred institution.

Automagfreek
09-11-2005, 10:57
For the first time during the meeting Azrael broke silence, clearing his throat and commanding both silence and attention from those in the room. His jet black eyes scanned the faces of the diplomats one at a time, and he licked his lips before addressing everyone in the room.
All this politicking and bickering is taxing on my nerves. These back and forth demands and threats of the occult will get us all nowhere.
Azrael turned to Wyatt and leaned forward against the table, the wood creaking as he rested the bulk of his weight on his elbws. You think you've seen shit not of this world? Come to Automagfreek sometime, there are more things neither of Heaven or Hell that dwell in our lands.....things that make your 'fungus lord' look like a child's bedtime story.
The Warchief then rose from his seat, the shining plate armor upon his chest catching a glint of light and reflecting it across the walls. He placed his hands behind his back and began pacing across the room, in plain sight of all the present dignitaries.
Getting back to the topic at hand, I have a counter offer to make. It is the position of Automagfreek at the present time to support The Kraven Corporation in this time of unrest. Lord Dreadfire himself has sworn to aid the Corporation for as long as this war lasts.
He paused briefly and ran his hand across his grizzled chin, drawing a deep breath and ceasing his movement across the floor.
But as we all know long full scale wars can be quite taxing upon an economy, especially with the level of aid that AMF is providing the Corporation. It is in the best interests of our nation that this war end quickly and in favor of Kraven, and if a swift resolution requires military involvement on our behalf, then so be it.
So here is my counter offer. The nations engaging Kraven ground their aircraft, recoil their troops, and withdraw their ships from Corporation territory, never to return. Simply cease and desist, and you will escape this war with your lives. If not, you face the wrath of the most indomitable military empire this world has ever seen, and that is a fight that you cannot ever hope to win. Automagfreek, one of the very few superpowers on this planet, will not hesitate to forcibly eject you from Kraven territory should you remain belligerent.
Azrael then returned to his seat and scanned the faces of the diplomats once more, waiting for both a reaction and a response.
Hugoro now having completed his task rises up from his seat, "These negotiations have been most agreeable, until next time, farewell," He turns and makes to leave before doing so saluting the Reichsmarshall as a gesture of respect, he approaches the door hands clasped behind his back, he had alerted his guard to be ready for departure.
The Infinite Crucible

Wyatt was a brave man, to be sure, but the site of Azrael staring him straight in the eye, and questioning him caused a tingling throughout his body. He was surely his fathers son.
Wyatt responded to the cold prodding question with the same relative casual façade he had held so far, “I do not doubt the depth of the long creeping shadows which block out the sun and hope in Automagfreek.”
“Perhaps,” he said with a conniving smile, “I will visit.”
He continued with a tone that made it clear he was asking a straight question, “And perhaps, someday you may visit the Northlands, to… sample our darkness.”
The smiles faded from Wyatt’s face as he heard the remainder of the Azrael’s speech. We cant win a war with this many foes, Bretton’s generals knew not how to score victory, but Automagfreek… war is all they know.
“Thank you, kind Azrael, and at the risk of… stroking your fancy, we must say this changes our stance on peace.”
“We were willing to sacrifice our own people for the strangers of the world, and even when hope seemed so far off, the fight was worth the effort.”
“However when all… chance of victory eludes and is naught but a dream of dreams, we must think of what is best for our nation. As such, here are our newest proposals for peace.”
1. All AKA armed forces pull back from The Kraven Corporation at maximum safe speed.
2. The members of the Consortium will be reimbursed in full, the price of reparations split amongst AKA members. The Infinite Crucible, however, would be willing to pay for the less wealthy nation in our numbers.
3. The AKA shall never be formed again, and all ties that were bound when it was signed will be dissolved.
4. There will be no contact between former members of the AKA for a period of five years. Weakly embassy reports will be submitted to The Kraven Corporation to ensure its enforcement.
5. No military forces of the AKA will be deployed within five hundred nautical miles of any Consortium nation unless express written consent is given by the current government. This will last for a period of ten years.
6. No military forces of the Consortium will be deployed within five hundred nautical miles of any AKA member unless express written consent is given by the current government. This will last for a period of ten years.
6. No former members of the AKA shall declare war or subterfuge of The Kraven Corporation for a period of fifteen years, except in cases of direct national threat and provocation.
7. All former AKA member nations must pay for the reconstruction of Torontia and if so requested aid in reconstruction directly.
We believe these are acceptable terms and await your approval or disapproval.

Wyatt looked up at the Axis Nova diplomat and smiled, "Don't fret, I believe that is an acceptable term, and will gladly add it."
8. The former surviving members of the Torontian regime shall be reinstated with full executive and national governing power. Those who have died in the service of their country will have their position's filled by the choice of the surviving governing body.
"Does this suffice?"

Azrael turned towards Wyatt and bowed his head ever so slightly, as a sign of respect. I'm glad both sides can come to an accord, and your terms seem more than reasonable to myself and the Excessively Armed Empire. However, I do not speak on behalf of The Kraven Corporation, and only they can agree or disagree with your terms.
Azrael turned towards the allied dignitaries, and shrugged his shoulders. This is what you wanted, is it not? What are your thoughts on the terms offered by Mr. Wyatt?
He reclined in his seat, taking his leave from the conversation and turning the discussion back over to the politicians.
As the conversation continued, Azrael leaned towards Wyatt and whispered to him with a half smile. Just business my friend, just business.
The Imperial Raven

ooc: Right, I'm sick and tired of my peace-loving nation so I'm going to have something ranging from revolt to civil war. This should concern everyone with their dignitaries in my Parliament, as they will be there when the shit hits the fan.
ic:
They were dead. Ford looked again, they were definitely dead. For years, Ford Dent had been the President of The Imperial Raven and for years his decisions had been overruled by a unanimous vote from the Cabinet. And now, someone had lined them all up against a wall round the back of the building and executed them. His first thought was along the lines of Well that was awfully nice of them, and his second thought was What the hell is going on?
After being dismissed from the negotiations by Dr. Lee Adams, Dent had gone home and got leathered. Cheering up, he had eventually tried to break into The Imperial Parliament; only to find the twenty members of the Cabinet slumped against the back wall he planned to scale. In the moonlight he could make out around forty pairs of footprints, in a neat line facing the wall. Casings littered the floor, and the stench of cordite was still in the air.
He heard the crunching of tires and gravel, and saw the silhouette of an APC. This must be the clean-up team, he realised as several white-coated men stepped out. Thinking quickly, Dent grabbed a handgun from the body of Minister Roger Minnear; an ageing man who made a point of being armed.
With little time for stealth, Ford Dent shouldered the flimsy back door and tipped a desk and a large potted plant in front of it. He pocketed the gun, and made his way to the thirtieth floor.
A muffled thud came from the other side of the oak door, followed by loud swearing. Dr. Adams rolled his eyes, this could only mean one thing. An aide went to the door, and the second he laid his hand on the handle the door was forced open. The aide was sprawled across the floor, and the President of The Imperial Raven came in firing.
His first shot whipped past several delegates, ending flight with a sickening thwack sound as it lodged itself between an aide's eyes. His second shot also found its mark, hitting an aide in the stomach as his third shot finished the job. The fourth and fifth shots fired came from a different weapon, namely the one belonging to Dr. Adams. Dent was hit in the right hand and left shoulder, going down with a small whimper and a lot of bleeding.
Dr. Adams holstered the weapon, and reached for the phone once more.
"Send two squads in, use the door."
The similarities between the Imperial Covert Forces and the Kraven Capitol Police were immediate; black and dark grey armour with a small backpack and deadly primary weapons. They too had a built-in gasmask, though it was smaller than the version mounted on the Capitol Police.
They were the same soldiers who had met the delegates at the airport, though this time they were without the trench coats. In seconds they had two soldiers holding the President, four staying close to the Doctor and the rest either lined up against the windowed wall or covering the door. Hugoro opens the door to leave and exits, on the other side however his radio goes off, "Minister, message from the Homeland, your to return immdiately,", The Minister swiftly turns round and re-enters to lift a dossier off the desk, he leaves hurrying quickly all of a sudden a strange computerised voice begins to warble somewhere down the corridors, all he hears is father and something about the High Command before leaving the building to his waiting Enforcers and their Commander, Colonel Kvanotijay, the Enforcers form up around the 2 who begin discussing the newly signed treaty as they board their transport.

The bank of monitors behind the Party soon flickered, static moved across the screen as it began to activate...
Soon the screens turned black...
Then a small red dot appeared in the center of each screen, every screen in the room projected this same image...
Quickly the Dot expanded, red quickly moving out from the dot, Until it had formed a Computer generated face, made out in red lines, its electronic eye lids shut, as though the image had been asleep for some time...
Then like a new born baby opening its eyes for the first time, the Image of the face looked around the room...

"Where Are my Manner... how, Terribly Rude of me... You may be wondering who I am.... "

"Now that, We, The Consortium hold all of the Cards Right Now, Because Come on did you even for one moment think I would Actualy Hold peace talks in a Neutral Nation?" The Machine once again with its sick cold voice...

Wyatt eyed this machine, this compilations of ones and zeroes. It spoke with a cruel elegance, but all the same it was a machine, and its flaws shown through like beacons through darkest night.
“The High Command, well I must applaud whoever wrenched the ones and zeroes together to birth you, but couldn’t they have… thought a better name?”
“If you are… in command, well then “high” seems a bit superfluous.”
“I wonder if they had the slightest bit of knowledge on… excess baggage.”
“Your name carries unneeded syllables, serving to… reassure your fragile power I assume.”
“Just like your name, your proposal carries excess baggage, something we, those who are intelligent, must remove.”
“So let me trim it down for you, remove terms one, two, three… well remove a good deal of them.”
“Add a few more, and huzza you have my previously arranged treaty, the only I plan on agreeing to.”
“For all your depth of intelligence I must wonder, where has it all gone?”
“Why propose a treaty worse than total and complete destruction?”
“Not a lot of sense in that, but not a lot of sense in a bunch of ones and zeroes I guess.”
“You also, seem to have no knowledge of our nation’s… situation.”
“This would cripple our ability to hold the northern border against the… never-ending waves of all that dwell in The Wood.”
“The mad men and beasts would reclaim the nation, and well your entire treaty would be nullified as I can not see you imposing it on them.”
“We would be destroyed as billions of horrors overran the land, so hence you see my… refusal.”
“Our terms are negotiable, only fools deal in absolutes, you have much to learn young one.”
"Well, then. I believe we may safely assume that you are rejecting the terms of this peace as well."

"Hence, I recommend you actually make an acceptable treaty."

Dr. Adams looked at the Infinite Crucible delegate in utter bewilderment.
"The treaty is peace because it is control, your leaders simply cannot be trusted with the ruling of a nation after showing such poor judgement in this conflict. The Consortium merely wishes to guide your nations into something that poses no threat to anyone, lest those addicted to power try to excercise "rights" they dont have."
"Now, I believe that I am forgetting my duties as a host. I would like all the Consortium delegates over here with me, and those of the wretched AKA by the big window. face the viewscreens please, theres a programme on soon which you might have some interest in." The sound of rifles chambering rounds filled the room, "Quickly now."
Father was gone from the viewscreens, and in his place was taken by the view from a security camera back at the airport. They displayed the eight Sardaukar activating, then awaiting their orders.
"Reichmarshal, just give the word."

We at the High Command believe that the Consortium is actually afraid of defeat, and has dragged much bigger allies into this, and now seeks to kill off the AKA delegates to try to stave this defeat off. The Consortium is now believing they can exericise soverignty over nations that were suceeding in defeating them.
This is a display of feigned superiority and utter cowardice.

Wyatt looked over at the newly found traitor.
"Shoot me then, as I would rather die with a spine, than live knowing cowards such as you, whoring yourself out to the victor, inhabit this world."
"Pathetic, I have seen worse and been through worse then a bullet wound to the head."
"Pull it now."
Wyatt had not a clue where this courage came from, perhaps it was a dead man's last grasp at power, at his own worth. Either way, his death smiled at him, and he merely smiled back.
--------
Marv looked up at the two guards in the room with him. Something was wrong, he could hear the cocking of guns through the walls, the smell metal and fear, and the tingling of battle. He always trusted his instincts, and his instincts were to kill.
Neutralize… shift… feint… duck… gunshots… grab… snap… target neutralized… shield… good… throw… pin… snap… target neutralized.
The thoughts came out in a rapid succession, merely feelings, urges. Within seconds the two guards had been killed. Their heads had been twisted from their bodies and blood flowed liberally. Marv grabbed one of their weapons inspecting it, making notes of every intricacy. He lifted the sputtering corpse of the second guard and began to tear into the flesh, consuming as he went. Blood covered his face and drenched his body. Ribs snapped, ripping the flesh asunder from within, small speckles of coating the room. The intestines emerged, steaming, fresh.
Marv grabbed the still twitching heart. Veins and arteries were torn with a delicate popping sound as it was finally pried loose.
Dessert…
The monster, an abomination from the old days slowly exited the room, wary of more guards.

Kurz Weber was currently wondering if mass insanity had somehow gripped the Consortium, and if it was contagious. Better try and make sure that these guys don't try and do something really stupid.
"Hey, guys? Just to let you know, if you had any thought in your mind about doing so, killing ambassadors at peace talks is something that WILL provoke a nuclear response from Civitas Americae. We don't feel that such nations are trustworthy enough to leave on this Earth. And Kraven, you can just take your terms and shove them up your ass."

"You may be, quite foolishly, willing to die Mr. Wyatt; but would you dish out that same fate to your soldiers? As we speak the Kraven Sardaukar are preparing a firing line, and when your troops' bodies hit the tarmac it shall be your conscience they rest on."
Dr. Adams was loading and checking his own pistol as he said this, gauging the reaction of the infuriated delegate.
"And did it not occur to you for one moment to think of where the power really lies? It is with the Consortium, who we have... albeit secretly... helped out from day one. I hoped for peace to be settled easily, but it appears that you throw yet more complications in the way of progress.
Know this, and have no illusions of the contrary. You either walk out of here with you signiature on that treaty, or you are carried out with a tag on your toe."
His point was made concrete by two Soldiers leveling their weapons at the delegate.
"If you agree to our reasonable terms, then you shall reap the rewards. You shall be in complete control of your nation, with the Consortium merely checking in from time to time. You fear what lies to the north of you, but the solution is simple. Lead your army into the maw of those daemons, and burn their woodland to the ground."
He looked around the room, cocked the weapon and lowered it slightly.
"If anyone else would kindly stop wasting all of our time and sign the treaty, then I assure you that this will be the best-case ending for you and your people."

"You know not the nature of the Northlands... there can be no victory over it."
"I choose death, and I believe my... bodyguard... is more than capable of taking care of himself."
Wyatt closed his eyes, the final eternal dark embraced him.
The screams of those falling to Marv could be heard slowly echoeing through the halls.
"Well that was certainly productive," thinks Hugoro, he'd managed to sign a favourable treaty and make a swift exit only as he leaves to hear some computer babbling about being the father of the Kraven High command and something about the High Command, he simply hadn't heard that much. Perhaps the Recording device standard equipment for diplomatic events would yeild more information on analysis. As he muses this his transport takes off both transport and it's escort accelerating away at maximum speed, onboard the somewhat shocked minister would be delivering a report, he'd left before the treachery of Imperial Raven had been revealed, he had his suspicions though.
"Something's a foot in Imperial Raven sir Kraven's Leader or High Command is called the Father, I wasn't able to hear much as I departed but my recording device may have been able to pick something up I didn't (it's a belt worn device) I'm sure something's up here I've had Colonel Kvanotijay get the transport to accelerate full speed out of Imperial Raven, it should take less than 15 minutes but something is definetly wrong in this country there's some Kraven Equipment here and after we took off we saw Sardukar on the loose. Whatever the case I'm sure Admiral Kukonois has a hand in this somwhere, he had a hand in many things during your fathers term I urge Caution My Suprainister. Remember it is you who have been entrusted with the care of our future and I have faith that our future is in safe hands. The minister respectfully inclines his head, they wouldn't get grouped with the AKA, in the strictest of terms they wern't a member, there hadn't been anyone in favour of attaching the terms of that treaty to the new NTEF (Novacom Treaty of ENDURING {new version with slightly different name} Freedom) , Denteth himself had argued most forcefully that Xirnium was to be defended however though the fight back then had been decided to be to drive them away not strike at their homeland.
That might change however these were dark times, Whatever was going on at that summit, a Resurgant Admiral Kukonois, a New Diri E I G Ignen movement, the Continuing Mysteries of Damocles (even Novacom doesn't fully understand the thing, it's a superancient artifact) and of course the constant infighting of the nearby nations, The Zanziik Republic, they were a member but not truly of it. Hugoro throws himself back into his seat in frustration, the entiire world seemed to be arraying itself against Novacom, the same had happened before, however things would end the same Novacom would endure.
"Hugoro did you hear me? Hugoro snap out of it friend I was saying that on your return we'll poresent a report to the council of Ministers, if they push things to war then Damocles will be deployed against their homelands we were merciful to the greeks after the destruction of Troy and look what it lead to, the rest of the world collapsed around us 500 years later. I'll see you when you get back, I've deployed Air Armada Erotos to escort you hom you should be linking up with them now." The Transmission ends however the Minister is shocked to the core, Damocles, against civilian targets, he reflects as the transport and it's escort accelerate on leaving Imperial Raven Territory Where said Air Armada is waiting, the SUprainister hadn't been kidding, it had been launched almost as soon as he'd arrived in the nation the Military had been concerned that the Minister may be targetted after the conference. The Minister rests his head back and drifts off to sleep thinking only this
The death of his father must have hit the Suprainister harder than anyone had thought indeed the world was becomming a darker place...

Immediately the procedures took place, metal shutters coming down over every door and window and all security personnel taking up firing positions. Snipers covered every angle, every window, every door. The air vents* pumped out mixtures of gasses which would stop the heart and lungs of the victim, with further security measures taken on the Rails. Ceiling mounted rails were suddenly buzzing with activity as they were patroled by drones.
Teams armed with entry-shotguns and carbines stood by each door, ensuring the maximum number of available entrances for the Ysuri.

ooc: Novacom, you left before it turned from negotiating treaties to negotiating hostages but you came back. This puts you in one of two positions;
1) You left the negotiations, flew out of my nation without knowledge of the situation.
2) You are in the room with the others, seeing as they would not allow you to leave if you returned.
Follow your current path and I shall have you shot down and blame it on the Kravens. There can be a lot of accidents when flying over a war zone, and with the shiney new ZSU AA systems i'm sure all the CP would have very itchy trigger fingers.
The Negotiator grimaced. Why does everything always go to hell on my watch?
"Pale Rider Arms is... irked... by this new development, but is quite willing to sign the new treaty. I do hope that our friends of the former AKA can be persuaded to do likewise? Do keep in mind that any attempts at escape will certainly meet in failure, as several Thunderbirds are ready to curtail such efforts. We would also like to remind the people of Civitas Americae that any strikes with nuclear weapons will be met with comensurate retribution by all parties of the Consortium."
Keying up his DNI, he quickly typed a message, to be sent to the Kraven delegate or Father.
Sir. I believe that an agreement can be reached much more easily if point 5 is removed. Women tend to be placed on a pedastal in many of these primitive cultures, and insulting them usually does not bode well.

Heartbeats, footsteps, switches, even the movement of an eye. Everything was crystal clear to Marv, his senses beyond even those of a god. He heard the sniper licking his lips on the building across the street, the struggling heart of an old man watching the events unfold from the street, he heard the pounding steps of the Sardaukar. He could taste their metal bodies, their putrid blood, and the little flesh they had.
A Spook was something beyond comprehension and there were only a few dozen in existence. Most were dead before they their minds would even register having spotted the foe.
Marv turned the corner, grabbing yet another hapless guard. With a massive flick he sent the body flying like doll, tearing the spine our in a an even manner. With his other hand the recently acquired rifle fire a round into the eyes of the oblivious partner. Blood covered the floor.
The slight rippling of the sonar could be felt as sharply as any touch and Marv’s skin. He knew the Sardaukars had located him. He looked up at the vents and saw each ripple of toxic gas, the movement of the air.
Deep breath…
With that he jumped into the vents, his body making a mockery of the poison. His powerful lungs held twenty minutes of air.
Escape…
OOC: I had not intended on RP'ing Marv, as his power is ridiculous, but it seems the situation has changed.
OOC: only to pick up something he forgot, I'll change it however to reflect having only heard a strange computerised voice a Computerised voice carries and echoes a great deal so that voice will echo a fair bit so something will be figured to be up. "Though you may retaliate against us, we have consistently prepared for a nuclear war ever since the nuclear age began and our populace is well-defended. Also, my murder may result in a full retaliation by the Greater Prussian Empire, which means you'd have to deal with them as well. Finally, while we are capable of surviving a nuclear attack that defeats our defenses, we rather doubt that Kraven is."
The Negotiator smiled wistfully.
"Whoever mentioned nuclear weaponry? It will be hard for your nation to survive when all that lives has burned to ash from our chemical stockpiles, and our tailored diseases create orphans in the millions. Tell me, do you really want to condemn your entire nation to death by refusing us? Triage is neccessary, my friend, save the great majority by sacrificing the few. Which is worse, the loss of your freedom for a short time, or the loss of the lives of you and millions of your countrymen?"

Tell me, have you ever seen a man's eyes rot as he writhes in agony? Or parents vomiting blood while cursing the names of the children that carried it to them, their own flesh and blood? Have you seen the dead cremate themselves as wisps of necrotic gasses carry the burning plague to new victims? These things shall all come to pass if you cannot bring yourself to see reason. Do we wish to kill millions of innocent lives? Of course not. We are not monsters. But we cannot allow nations who threaten the sanctity of law to maintain their barbaric practices. Please, sign the treaty, and save countless lives. Your fellow countrymen have placed their lives in your hands, can you throw them to the flames of hell?"

I am really getting tired of this Weber thought to himself.
"Your own words condemn you. For who is the barbaric nation that threatens the sanctity of law: The one who violates all international convention and law by murdering diplomats at a peace conference, or the one who punishes such an act?
And in order to cause such things to my countrymen, you must be able to get at them, which I assure you, you won't be able to do. As for throwing them to the flames of Hell, I have been entrusted by the Emperor with the duty of making peace. If Kraven's lunacy requires that we make a desert of them, then so be it. The ball is in Kraven's court. Whether they wish to survive as a nation or not is up to them. Azrael slammed his hand down upon the table in front of his and shot to his feet with a look of disgust upon his face. He turned to the delegate from The Fallen Races and snapped his frustration upon him.
Silence, rat! Your nation exists solely upon our good graces, and if you want to keep it that way I suggest you shut that hole in your face. You have effectively removed yourself from this conversation, good day.
He then turned to the other AKA dignitaries in the room and cursed their existance. If you are not prepared to accept terms of peace, whatever they may be, then perhaps the lot of you should make good on your threats of war. Automagfreek has already readied its forces (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=9913951&postcount=28), and instead of squawking like women how about you face us like men?
An evil sneer crossed his face as he began to circle those in the room. Life or death, make your choice now, but don't waste our time with petty threats of force. Put up or shut up.

KRAVEN'S airfields. Mine are still fully intact, along with all 500 Banshee Interceptors.
1. If they were on Kraven's territory, they were hit.
2. You'd be facing between slightly over 600 and just under a thousand fighters depending on how many escorts I decided to send, as well as 108 electronics warfare birds.
3. It's kinda pointless to argue about it now.
1. If they were on Kraven's territory, they were hit.
Actually, nobody ever directed an attack towards them, especially as they're centrally located. So they're still there and intact.
2. You'd be facing between slightly over 600 and just under a thousand fighters depending on how many escorts I decided to send, as well as 108 electronics warfare birds.
True, but it depends on what type of fighters and bombers, really. Banshees are bleeding edge PMT, so it might be a fair fight. Or then again, maybe not.
3. It's kinda pointless to argue about it now.
Very. But then, it's kinda fun too. :D

F-108s and B-70s. Though I'm now switching my bomber force out to Tu-160s as a result of this war (I'm debating whether to hold a division or two of B-70s in reserve).

If you want to know what my problem is, its that you don't actually pay attention to others posts. Not paying attention enough that you have missiles hitting everything but their target and an airstrike hitting a completely different country is just a tad bit annoying. This was the same problem in the other thread, where you decided to put your fleet in visual range while ignoring the fact that I had already said that if you moved within a certain distance I would shoot.

There were Four capitol Police troopers manning this Flak Cannon... They stood each with their Hands Behind their backs, the Flak cannon aimed up towards the sky, it had been aimed their since the start of the conflict and had been firing almost constantly since the Air Strikes had started...
"This is the Command Relay to all gunners, Hostile Craft leaving Imperial Raven Territory, Considered Hostile by Raven Command, Orders are to Open Fire, All Gunners to Comply"
"By Your Command" Came the response from every gunner across the defense line facing Imperial Raven...
Soon the thunder of AA guns permiated across the lands, as Shell after Shell were fired over and over again towards the Novacom Ambassadors plane...
Each Capitol Police trooper forced a shell into the breach, slamming it shut then pulling the chord that would send the shell towards its target...
The Nigh sky was lit up once again by the hammer of AA guns and the explosive bloom of muzzle flash....

ooc: I wish people would stop walking out of the hostage situation, seeing as I have 40 soldiers in the room and another 3960 in/around the building. Kraven didn't make it too clear, but the Novacom delegate is getting an ass full of assorted AA. If you want out of this, then either sign the treaty or pull a few armed battalions out of your ass.
My posts tonight will be few and far between as i have to sort out a ton of lineart and draft my new military dossier.
ic:
"He's in the vents."
"Good, get every man out of there, seal all exits and drain the oxygen. Keep the Sardaukar in there, and sent out a request for more snipers."
"At once, Sir."
"And put our Air Defense network on highest alert, shoot down anything that isnt cleared without hesitation."
"Understood."
OOC: WHAT Air Strikes? and I changed all my posts so I'd left before things changed, the only things my Delegate knows about is having heard a computer voice echoing down the halls, about Kraven, the High Command and the father, He however knows nothing of this new treaty.
IC: The Transport juddered and jarred as it ascended yet higher to avoid the innacurate AA Attacks, the jamming equipment could only do so much, after all if your target is a moving dead zone you target that, The Transport hadn't much father left to go and the second firing had commenced, Air Armada Erotos had been cleared to screen the transport and it's escort.
The Transport shuddered as wreckage from a Hijir which had bravely sacrificed itself to allow the Minister to survive, as the remnants of the Combat macha descend to the ground it's self destruct activates sending a massive spray of shrapnel, The Hijir armed with Bazooka would fire their 127mm Rockets at the Flak Batteries, while those armed with the 95mm Combat Rifle would prepare to engage any aircraft scarmbled, it was obvious really the only chance of getting to the transport was through the vanguard units of the Air Armada which had gotten into a screening formation, 22mm CIC machine guns would lay down a withering hail of fire all at any incomming shells and other AA systems some of it got through but Parralax's were in general heavily armoured in comparison to other similar craft and Diplomatic Parralax's had by nessecesity advanced heavy armour, specially crafted to be lighter than it would be expected as well as a set of powerful boosters and engines.
"Final Preparations for Final Acceleration complete, Minister I'd buckle in even tighter. The Homeland has been informed of the situation don't worry the armada has been instructed to keep damage to a minimum," The Transport shudders as another Hijir martyr's itself and shudders once more as it's engines begin final acceleration a collosal boom can be heard as the transport accelerates to Mach 6 the Pilot was fully aware that they wouldn't be able to manoeuver but at these speeds it wouldn't be nessacery The Transport had made it linking up with the other half of Air Armada Erotos. The Hijir also accelerated however they would take 5 minutes to esacpe and having only lost 20 Hijir all of which had self destructed to avoid any of their secrets to be discovered the Pilots as well had willing sacrificed themselves, if Death was what had been required of them they would have made the sacrifice in less than a heartbeat. The Pilots were happy with their performance sacrifices while regretable had had to be made.
Hugoro shook with rage, he would find out what had happened the Transport had taken quite a beating but unless interceptors were scrambled 10 minutes ago they simply wouldn't be able to even intercept the withdrawing vanguard of Air Armada Erotos and certainly not his transport, "When we get back I want all relevant information about what just happened, Colonel let me make this crystal clear however this does not reflect badly on you or any of us It's Fortunate Rey Anatos was in command of the Air Armada Erotos, That man has a sixth sense, though what suprises me is the fact that the Suprainister even sent out that force in particular I wonder,"
Air Armada Erotos had an unusally high percentage of Combat Aces and often tested out new designs, and on closer inspection of the Air Armada that had remained outside the border were a large number of new units, they gleamed brighter than the sun itself, they looked sleek and dealy their Damocles Derivative Battle Cannons slung over their back effortlessly hovering in mid air and acceleration in seconds to match the transports speeds they do it with ease hardly straining the prototype replacement for the Hijir, The fact that the Vindicator units were even being tested was mind blowing to the Minister, usually when a unit was being replaced it was when it was in it's elite Phase, this time however though it was different, the Hijir had barley made it into the Commodore Phase and was already being replaced the Presence of Damocles Derivative Battle Cannons was a shock as well, no-one had thought Novacom Manufacturing could create a Viable derivative of the Damocles superweapon into a normal battle laser, he wasn't to know of the problems still being ironed out but their presence filled him with menacing mirth, "If those fools continue following us have the Vindicators shoot them out of the sky," The Colonel looks somewhat suprised he hadn;t realised the minister had a ruthless streak, he bellowed the order to the pilot and it was swiftly relayed.
Outside the Vindicators quickly brought their DDBC's forward and prepared for combat, the entire process took less than 10 seconds, the Vindicator had had more than double standard development time and the only true faults and weaknessess in the units had been almost completly ironed out, the only truly major one was the Capacity of each Energy core for their weapons. Woe betide any persuers.

ooc: All doors/windows are sealed, and the vents dont lead to the outside of the building apart from one great big fan on the other side of a mass of air conditioning equipment. There would only be traces of air left now, and what was left will surely be contaminated by the gas. This oxygen-free environment will also make the Kraven Sardaukar stronger, as usually a hole in the armour lets oxygen in which is lethal to a Sardaukar. My troops have gasmasks, and around two hours worth of oxygen with them. They can wait outside all day though.
I meant to finish my dossier by now, but somehow I ended up playing CounterStrike for the past 5 hours. Its a mystery, honest.

The Republican Senate, a member of the Anti-Kraven Alliance, has examined your demands. We have unanimously found them to be reprehensible and reject them out of hand.
The Republican Senate has always considered the Anti-Kraven Alliance a defensive pact in order to safeguard the sovereignty of the Republic. Though it has never been the policy of the Senate to intervene in the internal affairs of sovereign nations, Kraven’s violations of other nations’ sovereignty (most recently that of Xirnium) has caused us to believe that no nation is safe while the Corporation exists.
We have not engaged in hostilities with your nation and feel no need to comply with your demands. Most reprehensible of all is the demand that we surrender our female population for use in your breeding factories. This is outrageous, for we are a liberal democracy where all are equal and we sacrifice none of our civilians for no one.
The Senate shall not allow you to fulfil your demands simply because we signed a defensive pact against you, a defensive pact which now seems obviously to have been justified. We will be activating our regional defensive alliance, and attempts to assert your demands will be met with lethal force.
The Senate of the Republic of Praetoria Novus
You form a defensive pact, yet you attack a nation that has done you no harm, without indication that an attack from said nation is imminent? What kind of fools do you take us for? Your warmongering could not be stood for, and our actions are justified by your unprovoked attacks. Even if your nation has not yet attacked Kravonia or its territories, you have associated with nations who have, offering support. This cannot and will not be tolerated.

PN is right, Otagia would do well to keep it's facts straight. The Kraven Corp. invaded our ally Xirnium, in it's "liberation" attempt (really an attempt to gain slaves and resources for it's war machine). The KC indirectly started this war, as well, on top of pissing off the International Community by killing "thought criminals" and other "undeseriables". How can you even claim that Kraven's "soveriegnty" is even valid, seeing as how it murders it's own people, far worse than what Xirnium has ever done (and they have renounced the practice, unlike the Kraven Corp), and holds hostages at a diplomatic conference.

[OCC: Since it would appear that this thread no longer serves a purpose I'm going to continue it for a closely related yet short rp that has developed out of it]
Inquisitor Aleia entered Government Conference Centre 17, situated in the capital of the Fallen Races. Escorted to the place by Major General Fen'Ris Kavirinsky, Lady Aleia had been sent instead of Lord Valhorn at the last moment. Why the Inquisition had done this she couldn’t tell, but then again the Inquisition was always making inexplicable decisions and ordering about its Inquisitors without divulging the full details of their plans. It’s the way may Order works, she thought grimly, always the constant need for secrecy.
Inquisitor Aleia examined the room the way only an Inquisitor could, taking in minutiae of detail that would be ignored by an ordinary person. Everything she witnessed was being catalogued for further scrutiny in her perfect memory. She was ultra-alert, simultaneously running several threads of consciousness at once in her own mind (all involved in a different task) as she prepared for any eventuality. The mental disciplines of an Inquisitor always proved useful.
'Greetings, Chancellor,’ Lady Aleia spoke softly, inclining her head in a slight bow, ‘the Inquisition is pleased to finally meet with you. I think, with your permission, that we should get right down to business.'
The Fallen Races
13-11-2005, 19:26
"And very much so." A secret door opened in the back of the room, and out stepped Chancellor Kaito Saruwatari. He was an elf, dressed in a white shirt, white pants with random belts buckled up both legs, and had angel wings. Nobody could explain why this was...it just sort of was. "Please, miss. Sit. We have much to discuss." He took the white chair at the far end and waited for Aleia to sit down as well.
The Inquisitor flinched slightly at the term of address. She had a noble rank and preferred to be referred to by such. That’s hardly an important issue at the moment, focus on the task at hand.
Lady Inquisitor Aleia smiled confidently. ‘Very well Chancellor Saruwatari, I’ll cut straight to the point as I don't believe in wasting time. The High Ecclesiarchy wants to know the relationship of your nation with the Kraven Consortium. The real relationship.’
The Fallen Races
15-11-2005, 02:31
"Yes, Inquisitor. Forgive my improperness before. I was unaware of your need to be addressed as such. However, that's not the point. The matter is, The Fallen Races is currently in a state of confusion. We were thought to be of the Consotorium, but after reviewing our status, we are now thought of as part of the AKA." He paused for a moment, to let the words sink in. "Now, the real manner at hand has been addressed. Your turn, Inquisitor."
The Lady Inquisitor’s eyes narrowed. Chancellor Saruwatari seemed loath to reveal anything particularly substantial and kept his true intentions well hidden. Surveying the man with the attentiveness that only an Inquisitor could muster, she scrutinise the tiniest detail (the Chancellor’s respiration rate, heart beat, voice frequency, rate of perspiration) in order to gain some insight into his goals.
Lady Aleia, however, found nothing, this individual was like a closed book. ‘My turn indeed, Chancellor,’ the Lady Inquisitor continued. ‘As you know, Kahanistan is even now being invaded by the Kraven Consortium. Should they fall, the Consortium will direct its intentions to the other AKA member nations in turn. In time, your own disloyalty to the foul Kraven beast will become publically known, and when it does the cowards shall come for you too.’
The Inquisitor paused theatrically, allowing the full implications for what she had said to sink in. ‘Surely it would be better to face the Consortium in Kahanistan, far from your lands, then wait for the bitter end in your own nation. My question is whether you share such a view.’
The Fallen Races
16-11-2005, 20:58
"Your penchant for theatrics does not impress me, Inquisitor. But, rest assured, forces will be commited to Kahakistan as soon as reasonably possible. This meeting is over." The Chancellor stood. "Fen'Ris will escort you out."
The Lady Inquisitor inclined her head towards the man in a slight bow. 'As you wish, Chancellor Saruwatari.'
