NATO and the Warsaw Pact haven't been formed yet and the UN is just being decided on. There are new alliances and new nations are being formed. In this theme you can alter your nations history to create new RP opportunitys for you and change the balance of power.

There are many free nations that have been altered by the theme such as Cuba being Communist already and under Castros control. Nuclear weapons have not been created yet. Japan, Korea, and Germany are split. There are many points that could spark a world war and it has proved to have many possible RPs.

plenty of nations still available that are needed for the RP...especially south amerca and africa

I'm thinking on being one of the less important nations like Saudi Arabia, Aghganistan, Pakistan, Korea, or Vietnam.

already have saudi arabia played by Truitt and INdia has Pakistan. India is RPed by Caladonn. Vietnam is taken but afghanistan is open i believe...what about a south american nation or something?

I'll take Aghganistan, they eventually get invaded by the Soviets, so that'll be interesting with me RPing them.

This is mostly free form, we don't have to be exactly by the books, do we?

Realism is expected but you can change stuff around. For example Im Spain and we are a mostly socialist nation with the monarchy still in power...

As long as you're not too strict on that part I'll do it.

check out some threads and you will see how strict it is. I tend to think it isnt all that strict...
