Purpose:

The MHBS-1 is designed for infantry support. This weapon is not designed to replace infantry. Instead, is is a fire support platform able to carry a variety of normally vehicle weapons such as autocannons and 70mm tank guns. It can take on infantry, armor, and aircraft all simply by changing it's weapon.

Armament:

The Battle Suit can carry (as of now) 3 different weapon systems. The first is the HAC-21 autocannon. Able to fire 500 HE or AP shells per minute, it can clear a building of enemy troops in seconds. It also carries a small rocket launcher for taking down soft targets. The HVATR-4 70mm HV antiarmor rifle is a semiauto high velocity anti tank rifle that fires a 70mm DU sabot shell at immesnely high speeds, and is capable of putting a round through a
M-1A4's front armor at a mile. The third is a anti-aircraft IR launcher, capable of destorying an aircraft going Mach 2 at 5,000 feet.

Armor:

The Battle Suit is protected by a layer of titanium, followed by Kelvar, followed by depleted uranium, followed by kelvar, then finally another titanium layer. The armor can withstand a direct hit from most infantry weapons, and can soak up most small arms fire like nobodys business. The viewport for the pilot is made of a glass-steel hybrid, and can take hits from 20mm weapons.

Targeting:

The Battle Suit uses a State Electronics AITS-2 for it's targeting. This allows the suit to "link" up with it's weapon and use a particular sighting arangement. The sighting also allows for engagement of targets at all hours and weather conditions.

Propulsion:

Powered by 2 fuel cell-powered motors, the legs and arms of the suit are directed by the crewman inside, who is linked to the suit via biomech controls. When the pilot moves a certain way, the suit moves that way as well.
