Monegasque forces invade Sudan and Chad, war declared.
MONACO, FROM OUR REPORTER - today, Monegasque forces began embarking for a large military operation in Sudan and Chad, and war was declared shortly thereafter by Grand Duke Reginault, aswell as the local governors on Comoros and Johnston Atoll. The complete Monegasque security force is to be deployed, together with the newly acquired Norwegian equipment. on 5:00 this morning, F-16C's of the Monegasque Security force have started bombing vital facilities aswell as strategical locations. the main invasion force is scheduled to be landing in Sudan in a few days, but trusted sources within the countries confirm that there are already some paratroopers on enemy soil. Grand Duke reginault declared this a vital training for the Monegasque Security Force, as the Troops have little experience more than basic training as of now. we'll keep you updated, and you'll read it here.
Comoros
slowly, the C-141B Starlifters took off, transporting the equipment so hardly needed during the invasion of Sudan and Chad. the howling of the engines was almost blown away under the sound of 40 F-16C's taxiing over the International Airport. it was the temporary Airforcebase to take off for the invasion. the F-16C's were bought from the Norwegian airforce, aswell as the C-141B Starlifters. They had been painted in Monegasque colours and were now scheduled to bomb several locations in Sudan and Chad, to prevent Greenmanbry forces rolling over the Monegasque invasion.
meanwhile, the old C-130H took off again. it was once again carrying Colonel John Rasper and his men, now accompanied by Norwegian equipment in the C-141B's: 1 M2035 Gramstad Mortar vehicle, 2 M2035 Gramstad APC's, 1 M2027 Viking IFV and a Monegasque Leopard 2A6EX. they were scheduled to land in Khartoum, and take the city. then, they should link up with the invading forces coming from Port of Sudan, and then advance into Chad, towards N'Djamena.
At sea, a Large number of transport ships left for Port of Sudan, to let Monegasque forces embark there. they were equipped with air support and helo support. there were not that much troops, but enough to be able to land on Sudan's soil. they were due to arrive in a few days, coming from Comoros.
A few days later...
after a few days, Sudan had been bombed almost constantly by Monegasque F-16C's, with only 2 aircraft lost on the Monegasque side. the Pilots had been able to bail to safety, and were now probably in improvised POW camps. Colonel John Rasper had landed and secured Khartoum in a quick move, as most Greenmanbry forces surrendered at the sight of the convoy. the advance to port of Sudan was hard, because a large number of soldiers prevented him from breaking through to Port of Sudan. meanwhile, the Monegasque Amphibious forces were making their way to them at high speeds after a succesful disembarkment at Port of Sudan. they encountered almost no resistance, and the coast, aswell as the cities Hayya and Ad Damir were secured. they were determined to intercept the blocking forces.
