Secret IC: Thandaria, Near the Center of the Milky Way Galaxy

the Death Star was ready for testing. it was still being built, but the Superlaser was Operational. Cas'rai Gon'dor'i was there to see it, along with Darth Imperia her self, via Holoprojecter. "Fire on that Moon." Cas'rai ordered.

On the death star, The Superlaser was Charged up and ready. "Fire." The Commader. the Superlaser was fired, blasting at the fourth Moon of the Planet below.

The Moon was destroyed in a second.

"At last," Imperia said, "The Grand Alliance will be destroyed." Cas'rai bowed to the Dark Lady of the Sith "The Fools on Earth thought they has killed you, and yet you lived." she said.

"That is why they need DNA Scaners," Imperia said, "Then they could tell if it was a Clone, or the real one." The Dark lady soon laughed. "Crimaera will oversee the plan as we talked about." Cas'rai bowed again.

"The Plan goes as Planned." Cas'rai said to Chimaera, "The GA would take the bait soon." "You better hope so," said Chimaera, "or Imperia-sama will have your head." The General Looked away for a bit and turned back to Cas'rai. "Imperia doesn't like to wait, Start Operation: Draw in NOW!" and the Holoprojecter turned off.

somewhere Near Saturn

"Cas'rai will do as she is ordered," Imperia said though the Holoprojecter, "she isn't one to try to ignore a order from Me, without paying the price." Of course, your ladyship." Chimaera said, bowing to Imperia, "We are about to exit the enemy FTLi Field and head for Thandaria now."

"Do it.." Imperia said, "and don't fail me." as the Holoprojecter turned off, Chimaera turned to the Captian of The Victory Class Star destroyer Star Killer. "Jump into Hyperspace now." she ordered.

The Small Fleet was ready, from out of Saturn's Clouds the Hatarian Starfleet,
23 Victory Class SDs and 10 Imperial SDs. The Fleet soon Jumped out of sight and into Hyperspace.

The Hatarian Starfleet soon dropped out of Hyperspace, Near the Cassiopeian Base. "Prepeare my fighter," Chimaera ordered, "I will go to the Death Star."

a Few minutes later, she was in her Starfighter, a TIE Slayer, heading into the Death Star's hanger bay, one of many on the Battle Station. as soon as it landed, Battle Droids and Clone Troopers marched to the fighter and standed in atteneion as Chimaera got out. Cas'rai walked over to the General of The CIN Forces on Earth. "General Chimaera, what a Surprise..." She said, but was cut off by Chimaera, "Don't talk nicey-nice on me, Warmistress, I am hear to get you prepeared for the battle" Chimaera said, "Have you sent your...Agent to Earth?" "Yes, General," Cas'rai said, "She will tell the Jedi where the........Gift is heading."

Sol System

a Ship, The Stinger, dropped out of Hyperspace near Earth. The Pilot, Guri, looked at the Blue World that she was sent to. Guri was a HRD or Human Replica Droid. She soon sent a Com Message to The Base at Theed. "This is the Stinger, Requesting Permission to land at your base." she said

_______________

A hundred different weapons from missiles to turbolasers immediately lock on to the ship.

"Very well. You will land exactly fifty kilometers north of the base. Any deviation from the flight path will be met with immediate destruction." The reply came.

Fifty klicks north was open grassland space. Four fighters came up to escort the ship while ground troops down there awaited the occupant of the ship.

Guri Came out of the ship, with her hands up. "I have Information for the Jedi." she said. She knew that The Jedi would want to hear what she had to say.

A Jedi Master by the name of Helena came out of the crowd of pointing weapons with her lightsaber out but unignited. "Very well. Speak."

Two Hakurabi technicians came running to the landing zone, holding powerful handheld devices. They looked like short sections of tubing with a truncated cone on one end, and a small glass object in the middle of the cone and a glass plate on the front of it. It could emit electromagnetic energy between 380 to 740 nanometres wavelength at variable strength. It can project a full 75 lm at maximum strength, and is totally immune to any sort of shielding.

They stood among the crowd of Coredian soldiers.

The Tarmanian Spynet has found out That The Cassiopeian Republic is Embarking on a Top Secret Military Project, they don't know what it is, only that it is bad news to the Grand Alliance." she said. Guri looked at the Harukabis, "Can you tell them to back away?" she said.
__________________

"No, I will not. Keep talking." Helena ordered. She mentally snorted. Top Secret military project...Three guesses what that is.
__________________

Guri Noded, "I have a message from The Master spy, Tuni Banbanian. He will tell you more about it." Guri looked at the Jedi. "You can keep me here if you want."
__________________

"Where shall I meet this master spy?" Helena asked.
__________________

"In Tarman City, Capital of Tarmania" Guri said
__________________

"I see." Helena nodded. "Do you have coordinates?"
__________________

Guri soon gave Helena the Coordinates on a Data pad. "The Tarmanians are Cat-like. They are neutral in this war and are master Spies, second to none."
__________________

Very well." Helena took the datapad and began walking away with it. She passed the soldiers and gave them an order. "Take her out. Have the techies find out how she ticks. Take the ship, too."

"Yes, ma'am." The soldiers opened fire on Guri with anti-droid EMP weaponry while other soldiers began moving on her ship to take it.

Outside the Base, Four Beings were walking out of the wood and heading for the base, two of them were carrying the oher two. They were Vrana, Tanya, Nadia and Tenc'uo.

Vrana was yelling at the top pf her Lungs "We Surender!" over and over again, hopeing that the Coredians, not The Harukabis would hear it.

a Camera on the Ship showed the ones watching it what happened as Guri was knocked out. Cas'rai and Chimaera watched it, Smileing. "it worked, now we will send the Corgo Ship to Tarmania with the Plans." Chimaera said, "The Grand Alliance has made a Big mistake this time."
__________________

Of course, the commandos had neglected to eliminate the surviving specialists (I'm assuming the Heavy weapons and Secondary gunner were killed in the fight, as well as the clone and the rest of the commandos.), who were carefully stalking them from various distances.

The technicians turned on their lights, strong enough to help illuminate during daylight, and fiddled about with their controls to sweep the ship in different colours of light. Then they moved over to Guri and checked for any signs of explosives or other booby traps. They would want to remove those first, because even if their armour could survive it, the droid obviously wouldn't.
__________________

"Sir, we have four Hatarians outside of the base asking for surrender. They appear to be survivors from that failed infilitration they did two days ago." The General reported to the Patriarch.

"I see." Alexander sipped his tea. "Have the Hakurabians take them into custody. And be sure they have their Force-inhibitors online just in case. I will wish to interrogate them soon."

"Yes sir."

The word went out to the Hakurabi troop commanders to take them away.
__________________

The specialists recieved the message and sent an acknowledgement message back to the Coredian Commanders.

They hurried ahead of the survivors and engaged the captain engaged his active Force-Purging device. Then he stepped out in front of the commandos (Snipers with locks on the legs of the survivors) and announced "Drop all weapons and disengage all electronic warfare devices immediately. We are here to escort you to the appropriate authorities. Failure to comply will result in death.". Whether or not it would actually result in death was yet to be seen, but their orders were to take them alive, so they would not use lethal force unless required to.
__________________

Soon, the Patriarch recieved a visit from the Jedi known as Helena.

"Sir. The coordinates check out. There definitely is a world known as Tarmania. The technicians are looking at the droid as well. They say it's quite the goldmine."

"Very good, Captain Hawkeye. You will go with the Jedi Alchemist and find this Tuni Banbanian person. See what he or she knows about the secret military project." Alexander casually tapped his fingers against each other. "Commander Masaki may need to know about it when he returns."

"Yes, sir." She saluted and walked away to search for Jacob Masaki.

Later still, they took a ship and made the jump to hyperspace.

-----

Vrana Glared at the Harukabis, "Does it look like I have any weapons, Bot man?" she said.
__________________

"Unless you feel the need to lose a limb you are required to comply." They didn't normally do the robotic drone routine but if the Cassiopeians thought that they were a bit dense then all the better for them.

It was obvious that they could not possibly use any weapons, but to be sure the two snipers came down behind the group. After making a quick scan and confiscating any weapons they still owned, the specialists used their blades to quickly cauterise the worst wounds of the survivors, in lieu of actual medical supplies.

The captain then gestured for the survivors to follow him and proceeded to the nearest Coredian military base.

Soon, space rippled and crackled with energy as a ship tore from hyperspace to realspace. Captain Hawkeye and Major Masaki are heading to the planet of Tarmania to find out about the 'secret military project' Cassiopeia is trying to create. They descended and landed at a nearby spaceport.

First out of the ship was a young man in a blue cloak with the Alchemist symbol (a cross with a snake curling around it) in the center of his back. His dirty-blond hair parted to the right and his clothes never varied from a white opened dress shirt, a blue T-shirt and a pair of military-brand green trousers. On his hands were a pair of white fingerless gloves. This is Jacob Masaki, the Jedi Alchemist.

The other person was a woman in standard military uniform, rather than Jedi robes in her role as Jacob's aide. That is Captain Helena Hawkeye.

The two Jedi began inquiries into the person known as Tuni Banbanian...

"that is why we must start Operation: FORCEBANE at once. With the Plans for The Death Star and where it is heading For Tarmania, the plan is starting to unfold."

----------Tarmania---------

Tuni Banbanian looked on the Monitor at the two newcomers who had come to the Spaceport of Tarmania City. Good, The Jedi would need the help of The Tarmanian Spynet to find out what it is that The Cassiopeians were building. The Tarmanians had tried to hack into the Cassiopeian Computer Center on Darkkaan, but that failed. The Tarmanians had learned that a Computer from Darkkaan was heading for Tarmania, via a Cargo ship, The Jedi would like to know that soon.

Have I mentioned "Damn!" recently?

Hmm, I can see the losses, depending on the size and composition of the fleets, a fleet of Protoss Carriers for example, isn't going to do much. While a Fleet of Metal Militia Class ships will pound them into so much scrap.

Unfortunately for her, the Force-inhibitors the Hakurabians used were still on. Nothing occurred, and the Sith Lady appeared to make a fool out of herself.

well in all since, the poke the soldier did ticked her off, she soon pulled out of Hammerspace (which she didn't need the force to put something out of Hammerspace) a Lightsaber and turned it on.

Varna was a expret in Sword Fighting, and knew how to hit Small Targets, like Force-inhibitors. She Stabed at the Soldier who Poked her, intent at hiting the FI.

OOC: I take it since you said Varna was in fact Darth Imperia her self, The Most deadly Sith Lady yet! that she is indeed the real thing. I sure hope you don't try to do another of those 'It's a clone' tricks.

IC:
It was about at that point that the small fleet showed up, though they were hanging about a considerable distance outside the system (It would be daft to give any locals the impression of an invasion...) and a trio of corvettes (The freighters carried a number of small vessels, fighters and marines alongside the munitions) with what looked like large sensor dishes mounted on the front.

They dropped into the system and did a routine sweep, with the cargo vessel showing up as a hotspot, carrying weapons of some sort. Proceeding to make a detailed threat evaluation scan, they discovered the veritable arsenal hidden in the craft.

There was no true cargo at all! It was loaded with what appeared to be a large number of missiles, with the launchers actually installed into the ship! This was far too much to be a simple cargo shipl, and the assumption was made that it was a pirate vessel. Deciding that they had a duty to ensure there was no threat to legitimate shipping, they hailed the 'pirates'.

"Attention unidentified vessel. We have reason to believe that you have been engaging in piracy. Lower shields and submit to inspection immediately."

The corvettes hoped like hell that they agreed.

Point is, there is now another threat - the fleet doesn't know who's on it, and if they find out it's a Cassiopeian vessel it is liable to be blown away by a torpedo. It creates a sort of 'minefield'.

If YOU saw a heavily armed cargo ship wouldn't you be suspicious, too?

Meanwhile, the Fifth Fleet over Earth at Sol was alerted to the incoming ships.

"Sir, I'm detection various Star Destroyer-class ships approaching Earth!" A sensor officer aboard the flagship Velociraptor. "Venators, Acclaimators, and Vicstars."

"What? What's their IFF?" The admiral asked angrily.

"Cassiopeian, sir."

"Very well. Go to red alert. Comms, warn our allies and groundside. Helm, come about 0-6-0. Weapons, are they in firing range?"

"Yes sir!"

"Very well." The admiral replied. "Order the fleet to surround the enemy! Don't let them near Earth! Fire at will!"

The Elite-class Star Destroyer then tore space with a blistering blast of turbolasers, ion cannons and missiles while the rest of the fleet moved to cut the enemy off from Earth and too opened fire. Such ships are no match for the ten mk II class Star Destroyers in the fleet, as well as a multitude of missile cruisers and lighter escorts. Once again, the Cassiopeians have learned nothing but how to fail...

OOC: Hataria, you're not entering the atmosphere yet. You keep thinking you can somehow avoid our fleets entirely.

The Godulan Battlefleets overhead had been paying attention to incoming traffic themselves, and were in the process of forming up attack formations when the notice came through from the Coredian forces.

Mako Star Destroyers and Kython Slaughterkings took their positions to commence full combat jump into the midst of the enemy fleet, and as the Coredians funneled massive volleys of cannon fire into the Cassiopeian fleet, the Archonal Command ship turned gingerly to face them.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Status on Red Rain?"

"Five torpedos activated, targeting solutions acquired."

"Prepare to fire on my mark."

General Achaedus watched the scene unfolding before him in the holocommand chamber, zoomed in slightly to show the besieged Cassiopeian fleet, and completed the command:

"Mark."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

From the edges of the Godulan fleet, five large canisters winked out of existence, immediately returning at five random places around the Cassiopeian fleet, and dispersed its payload. The 450 missiles from each torpedo were each targeted on random vessels in the enemy fleet, with rough emphasis placed on the flagship vessels, and today they packed a new punch.

Approximately half of the missiles were standard fusion missiles, meant to deal significant amounts of damage to anything and everything. The other half, however, consisted of enhanced Tachyon missiles, far larger than simple torpedos, the missiles would fly towards their target then detonate, firing off a pulse of tachyon radiation that would be harmless to all but shielded targets. Shielded targets would experience the equivalent of a planetary grade turbolaser that shields could not block.

The new red rain presented a conundrum: Keep shields up and be slaughtered by the Tachyon bombs, or drop shields and be slaughtered by the fusion bombs.

Eenie.

Meenie.

Minie.

Boom.

And of course, to add insult to injury, the Red Rain torpedos themselves, now reduced to 250m long armored, shielded, and self-propelled ramming wedges, picked the largest enemy vessels and went into overdrive, intending to wipe out the largest portion of enemy infrastructure even before the Godulans joined the battle in force.

Speaking of which, as soon as the missiles had all struck their intended targets, or got shot down (though nobody could catch them all when the missiles were launched at nearly point-blank, and usually paid more attention to the ramming wedges). The Godulan battlefleets commenced probability iteration, materializing in the midst of the enemy fleet and opening up with everything at once. The Makos, the Slaughterkings, Thousands upon thousands of Slaymasters and HellKites came into the battle in unison, letting their tremendous numbers take the enemy by surprise as much as the sudden and tremendously vicious onslaught.

Fractal Guns, Tachyon Torpedos, Fractal Torpedos... the new directed effect version of Godulan Flux Cannons was amazingly potent due to the ability to focus its firepower towards the enemy, rather than just radiating out in a circle. All of these were brought to bear against the enemy fleet.

The Kingdom Come and its escorts waited patiently for anything to attempt to break for the surface, as did the ground forces, aiming upwards with their planetary defense cannons and even bringing the Guns of Archona into Long Range Assault Mode.

The Coordinates were somewhere in the Center of The Milky Way Galaxy, but something was about to happen that would start the Trap.

Chimaera's Fleet Dropped out of Hyper Space and had Put up their FTLi Field and a Jamming Signal to make sure that The Jedi and Harukabis were Traped near Tarmania.

Chimaera Watched the Planet from the Bridge og The Ultra Star Destroyer Imperium. "Power Up The Superlaser and Target the Cargo Ship, and Star landing the Ground Troops on The Planet!" She ordered.

Jacob then headed back to his fighter and hopped in, then was immediately bombarded by a warning.

"Sir! We've got incoming! Cassiopeian Eclipse-class Star Destroyer and its posse!" Captain Hawkeye yelled.

"Shit." Jacob cursed and juiced it. He sped out of the cargo ship's hangar bay and found out immediately that an FTLi was in place and landing ships were sent to the planet itself. "Damn! Form up on me and let's try to shake off the interdictor field!"

Near the edge of the system, five vessels came into existence. Mako Star Destroyers one and all, the vessels were immediately aware of the presence of an FTL inhibitor field. A rough sensor sweep showed a significant jamming field, but it did not stop their mass detectors from reading a rather massive fleet closing in on the planet. Energy signatures also painted a grim picture.

Secondary targeting solutions were initiated, and psi-comms between the vessels were as thus:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Allright, our suspicions are proven correct again. Here's the deal. We're faster than the lot of 'em. We get in, scoop up our comrades, and haul ass until we're free of the inhibitor field. Got that?

>Chorus of Affirmation<

Just remember, if you're shot to shit, take one of 'em with you. Give Sojun a good read when he brings out your book.

>Chorus of Primal Roars<

Now lets bolt.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

With that, the small flotilla vanished, reappearing close the Coredian and Hakurabian vessels and the cargo ship, and turning to face the enemy fleet. As soon as they materialized, their teleporters went active, focusing on getting the crew out of the Coredian fighters and any potential life signs on the cargo ship.

Within a matter of seconds, the coredians were aboard. A single message went out to the Hakurabians:

The Corvettes were trapped, and the fleet decided to spring into action. Imperia could not be released at any cost, lest she once again become a thorn in the side of the GA. However, there would not be any excuse to allow the Tarmanians to be killed.

A snide reply wafted back across to Chimaera. "Are you sure you're willing to alienate the Cassiopeians?"

A large contingent of marines already on the planet (dropped around the time the Cassiopeians did their drop) rushed to distribute 'rescue chips' (in handy tablet form) to as many Tarmanians as possible before the situation turned ugly.

The Corvettes were still the only ships within sensor range, and did their best to look large, imposing, and most of all, arrogant. They did, however, pinpoint the large Cassiopeian troop locations. Then they were slagged by the Cassiopeian armada, who only then noticed them.

The fleet moved in, the Beamer Battlecruisers melting the heavier ships without mercy, whilst hundreds upon hundreds of anti-matter missiles poured from the Missile Battlecruisers. Alongside the firepower was the plasma cannons hailing thousands of pulses onto the ships.

The Imperium, a wholly uncreative and outright pathetic vessel, found itself dealing with a huge number of antimatter missiles, above and beyond any shielding or point defence capabilities.

"Yes, sir." The trooper saluted and left to get the Triad member.

Tarkaan.

Darth Fang came to the fighter bay in the Morgukai Temple. 190 Morgukai Pilots were dressed in cortosis Armor. They carried their Lightsabers by their side, ready to battle the Jedis. "We have a mission to do," Fang said. "We are to go to the Milky Way and rescue four war pisioners from death. Some of us my be killed, but The Force is with us!

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
There is death, but there is the Force
The Force shall free me!"

The Morgukai Slauted the Gray Lady of their Order and boarded their Fighters, T-wing fighters. The T-wings were as fast as Harukabi's Timberwolf Fighters, and just as powerful. Armed with dual laser cannons and two Projectile Launchers (Standard load: 4 concussion missiles per launcher) The T-wing could go into Hyperspace.

The T-wings soon took off and were in Space, soon they Jumped into Hyperspace.

Unfortunately for the supposedly new KythonBanes, the Kythons had been undergoing massive evolutions during the interbellum. Instead of their glistening black shells of steel and neutronium, the Kythons now shimmered in the sunlight like glass, a result of their strange purplish hulls. The only major issue with supposed Cassiopeian ingenuity, is that they assumed their enemies would just sit there. For example, these 'Kythonbanes' seemed to rely on the assumption that Kythons Slaymasters were NOT protected by a rotatable ring of whirling monoblades SPECIFICALLY intended to combat melee attacks (and the Slaughterkings were equipped with light discs in order to do the same thing, in addition to picking apart capitol ships disabled by their ion cannons).

As a result, the Slaymasters and Slaughterkings took the attacking 'Kythonbanes' as little more than a weak insult, and surged forth into the enemy vessels, with the Slaughterkings diving in on the Capitol ships, and the Slaymasters spreading into two groups to combat the enemy fighters and add their power to that of the Slaymasters.

The Morphic Crystal that now made up their hull enabled the Slaymasters not only to fire their standard Kinetic Lance cannons, but to switch into a mode of operation that allowed them to funnel energy into the crystal hull itself. With precise controls, the hull would then generate bolts of energized crystal that would then fire at enemy targets, exploding on contact with fuuuuuurious anger. The wonderful thing about these crystal bolts was their limited seeking capacity. Mere Juking and dodging would help little against these fighter craft. Also notable was the high rate of fire, despite their somewhat complex ammunition requirements, pumping out firepower quickly enough to match the speed of a vulcan cannon.

As the Cassiopeians arrived in force, More Godulan vessels entered the fray, accompanied with reinforcing Kython units to rip and rend the enemy to pieces.

Hellkites roared into the fray, using the Slaymasters as cover they opened fire on the enemy fighters and picking off the primitive vulture droids when the need arose. The Godulans had been putting the Morphic Crystal on their own vessels, and with the Crystal's inherent regenerative properties, things that landed on the vessels and attempted to peel it apart and muck about with the interior were not exactly the most efficient means of dealing damage.

The Kythons also had one last little screw-you for the Dark Jedi piloting the initial fighters:

Force Nullification Fields.

It had taken a while for the Godulans to figure out how Ysalamiri worked, but they did it, and decided that the Kythons would be the ones best equipped to make use of the mechanized version.

So now the Slaymasters simply picked out those fighters piloted by the Dark Jedi and focused their attention upon them. The Jedi would be no better than typical fighter pilots. And it would kill them.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhilst, Maximillian simply stood, a small cloud of dust wafting about his plated boots. He was tracking the Sith directly, still capable of smelling him, but he gave no sign of paying attention to the opponent's location.

A lone marine turns around in shock as the army charges towards him. "Aww, crap." He raises his gauss rifle and blows away Crash the Zombie Guy with three rounds, leaving no trace behind save a small crater. At that point the army gets within firing range and wastes him.

(OOC: Seriously, the undead have no place in FT.)

"Ow."

"Quite."

"Why in the hell would they think we were all clumping together nicely in one place? We're trying to get to as many Tarmanians as possible, and they think we're not going to spread out? When one marine can handle an entire suburb?"

"If you ever find out, let me know."

---Above Tarmania---
OOC: Time for me to rant. There are three issues I want to address that will justify why I've got a massive advantage over you and have a huge advantage in terms of accuracy, too.

First, I will address how Antimatter Torpedoes would theoretically work. Antimatter is not universal. Antimatter will annihilate only its respective particle. Anti-Iron will only convert Iron perfectly into pure energy. Hence, dumping antimatter onto a ship will provide only marginal, at best results. Therefore, the missile provides both the antimatter and its corresponding matter. Let's say I decide that I will use uranium in my missiles, then I would have missiles with equal parts Uranium and Anti-Uranium - creating a 'clean' reaction. Your 'Giantite' immunity to any sort of antimatter is not only impossible, but is also a moot point.

Now, reactor walls are designed to withstand constant forces emitted during the reaction. The key word here is CONSTANT. If you wore a theoretically perfect anti-radiation suit and hid in a nuclear reactor, then you would probably be safe from the radiation caused by a fission bomb dropped nearby. Now, say that same bomb hits the reactor. You would be blown away, regardless of the reactor walls. A sudden sharp dose of energy, as would be the case with an antimatter missile, would be enough to overwhelm the 'diamond like' material's resistance, which is why it would be used for reactors and not armour. You would need a large amount of 'Giantite' to survive a single anti-matter bomb, let alone a salvo of them.

Which brings me to my third point. I'm assuming for the sake of proceeding with the RP that you have armoured your ships to the point of near invincibility to energy. Now, this Giantite, to survive day-to-day operations of constant anti-matter reactions, would need to be extremely dense, and hence have a lot of mass. Now, earlier I stated you would need a lot of this stuff to armour your ships. Now, this would mean that it would have a mass approximating that of a small planet, in the case of your USD. Your turn time for 90 degrees would take upwards of a month, and your fighters would have a turn radius of hundreds of kilometres. As a result, front mounted weapons are totally useless except against like unwieldy ships like death stars. Turrets are only marginally more useful. We know that a Star Destroyer of any kind is literally bristling with turrets, and all of those would need to be armoured in like kind, lest the prohibitively expensive armour be near useless. Inertia is a very important factor in starship design. This would also be why my ships are always considered to be far faster than yours.

This is why my ships can choose everything from the location, to the range, to even the outcome of this battle.

IC:
As the Cassiopeians commenced their months long task of turning around to face the fleet, the far swifter and less bulky ships had long moved out of range and simply struck them with their Long Range Plasma Cannons from afar.

The fighters were so predictable that many were downed simply by the heavy plasma cannons of the battlecruisers, when they were not mown down with Point Defence fire from the Faiths.

One fighter even found itself on an intercept course with an anti-matter missile.

The corvettes made it out alive and well after moving out of the way of the fighters.

The Kythonbanes continued to operate as if they were useful, getting sliced in half or shot to a pulp whenever they got too close to a Slaymaster or Slaughterking. The primary threat to the Kythons was the typical counterfire from the doomed Cassiopeian fleet, and a decent number were lost despite their disproportionately powerful defenses. It did not matter. The wreckage and flotsam of this latest victim would mean a great many new Kythons later.

The HellKites were considerably more durable, however, and avoided the brunt of the damage, with only a couple being forced to enter in last-ditch ramming maneuvers to detonate their engines within enemy fighter bays.

The Makos, heavily outnumbering the attacking ships, simply formed up defensive cordons and recycled vessels to take the brunt of the damage while others moved to the back to regenerate shields and armor. This, combined with the fact that the Cassiopeians were forced to divide their cannonfire a great many different ways, meant that no Mako took more than token damage.

As it stood, a small group of enemy fighters pushed their way through the colossal blockade, causing only smirks and headshakes amongst the commanders of the Godulan Battlefleet. The fighters were persued unflinchingly by multiple squadrons of Kython Slaymasters and Godulan HellKites. And Kythons from the Ground Garrisons also came up to 'greet' the enemy fighters.

Before the two forces closed the pincer, however, the ground batteries opened up again, pounding Protium Arc bursts into the enemy fighters like a maelstrom of crackling blue disintegrating energies. Both forces did not intend to leave any member of the Cassiopeian invasion fleet unharassed, much less alive.

IC:
As the fighters entered the atmosphere several wings of Timberwolves launched from their spare hangers in Coredia, firing salvoes of Plasma Missiles and zapping the so-called 'Jedi-Killer' droids with their 250Kw pulse lasers. That, and simply getting too close to them and knocking them off with their shields. The Null-Gravity Fields were still perfectly good as a one-way shield for material. (OOC: This would be like clobbering them with a mountain flying at 42.1km/s, not including the velocity of the fighters.)

The Witchhunters used in the original campaign were now obsolete, as the pressure to deal with the powerful Force-users had found the device small enough to be added to humanoid forms. The modem-like Force-interdictor did not, as has been stressed many times, jam the use of the force but instead simply purged it. As a result the Timberwolves had them dropped into the design.

The Morgukai's fancy Force-Boosting was a moot point when faced with the tried and true Hakurabi Timberwolf fighter pilots - who, indeed, would certainly swear by them. Fortunately for both their enemies and their allies, they toned down the interdictor range when nearing known allied Jedi. Nevertheless, the enemy fighters were given no chance to exploit it as the wings used the ages old strategies employed by their namesakes.

Tarmania. most of the Capital ships were destroyed or Damgaged, 123 Fighters were gone, but on the ground, The Cassiopeian Army Contiuned To Attack, The Walkers Blasting The Hell out of the Harukabi Troops.

The Imperium it self had Damage, but its Armor Protected from Very Bad Damage. "Blast the Bots to hell, then Order the retreat." Chimaera said. The Fighters soon Started Attacking the enemy Ships, Torpedoes and Blaster Cannons fireing.

Back at the Battle of Theed, most of the Fighters fallowing Darth Fang were destroyed, only three T-wings and ten Droid Fighters were left to Protect Fang's Fighter.

And they were heading for the base.

"Target the Buildings and Towers," Fang said, "That should get them to run." The Fighters were soon heading right at the base.

As for me? I smirked as I locked on one particular fighter with the Force and let loose a powerful blast of lightning at Darth Fang's ship.

Meanwhile, Darth Bankai has NOT entered the base after all. It was simply a false alarm due to a glitch in the computers.

"My my." Alex smiled as he stepped inside the dungeons. "It appears that we'll have to expediate your executions. Your friends have decided to try and rescue you, but they will fail, and quite miserably too."

"By the authority vested within me, I sentence you to death for espionage and conspiracy to commit sabotage under the laws of Coredia..." Alex said coldly as his lightsaber sprang to life. Then he struck at Nadia first, stabbing for her chest...

OOC: Godular: I will Edit, but I was Thinking about Maxie finding out that Bankai was in The Base and Maxie would fight him inside the Building.

OOC: Maxie is tracking Bankai, he would know if Bankai was moving and in which direction. And once again there's the acoustic/seismic sensors which would spot Bankai's movements and put the whole base on alert. Hell, now that I think about it, if its the same base as in the other RP, then there's Gendarmes roaming about that would notice Bankai moving through the ground just as easily as Maxie.

Trying to get into the base by that route opens up too many cans of worms.

On another note, its a two-on-one with you on the offensive on one front, and a one-on-one with you on the offensive on another. Now if it were six on one on both fronts, there'd be cause for dogpiling claims, but this is definitely not the case, and you are the instigator on both fronts. The Godulans and Coredians pretty much come as a package. And I suspect it shouldn't be too much of a problem for Hakurabi to keep to the issue over tarmania, if only to placate.

IC:

Maximillian was now staring at the ground, following Bankai's position with the focus of a hungry predator. He could feel Bankai's soul within the ground. The first sign of moving into the compound itself would have Maxie yanking the Sith out of the ground with a decisively unceremonious explosion of dirt and grass.

However, even in his hunting state, he was fully aware of the incoming fighters, harassed incessantly by Kythons and HellKites. He was prepared to compact a couple more enemy fighters if need be, and maybe hurl them into the ground to let Bankai know that if he didn't get the hell out of the ground NOW there was going to be hell to pay.

Even with the Force Push, I had the skill to unleash the ball lightning at Darth Bankai before I landed some meters away, igniting my lightsaber.

Meanwhile, Alex was about to kill Ten'cuo when he noticed a second life within her. He lowered his blade and shook his head. "You are foolish, woman, to bring an unborn child to a known battlefield. Know that the child will grow up an orphan, never to know his mother or the rest of your family, for that matter. At least take heart that we will take care of him."

With that sentence, he squeezed the woman's throat with the Force until she passed out. Once he did so, he motioned for the marines to take her to the medical deck, where the child will be taken out of the womb and placed in a specialized chamber until he's 'born'. After Ten'cuo is free of the child she too will be killed by a blaster bolt to the head. It's harsh, but hey, it's a harsh world.

And now, he turned to the final person. "Darth Imperia. Dark Lord of the Sith. Your and your ilk are foolish to challenge the might of the Coredian Empire and her allies. Any last words, my dear?"

As soon as Bankai returned above ground, Maxie cut loose a massive volley of farpunches, not only at Bankai himself, but at Fang, who was still in the air himself after leaping free from the fighter. After that single lightning quick barrage, he sent out his will and took hold of the ruined fighter, stopping it cold.

Bringing it to him, he compacted this fighter as well, but this one was not wrought into a simple little cube, oh no. This one ended up being shaped into a very heavy, very dense, yet surprisingly thin tube of metal, only about three inches in diameter and eight feet long. Maxie took it up, and utilizing his telekinesis in addition to his own prodigious strength, held it like he would a club.

He moved towards Bankai and Fang, an evil grin in his eyes...

(OOC: You've still only killed the one unlucky guy caught off guard. Stop referring to my troops like they're one body. They are not politely standing by to be shot, nor are they shooting back at the moment.)

The situation on Tarmania was getting worse, although 75% of the population was now innoculated, the Cassiopeian army was now running around shooting anyone caught on the streets. Whilst the Marines did not use such obvious channels, it was worrisome to see innocents killed like this.

The fleet, however, was trapped utterly by their horrendously low maneuverability, and they would realise that by virtue of their position in orbit of Tarmania were the Hakurabi not simply using their anti-matter missiles to push them into the sun. Their FTL would not be with them either, as a matter of protocol the FTL Interdictors on both sides were active. Nothing save mutual agreement would allow them to escape.

Whilst the superior mobility of even the battleships would protect them, they made a sport of nailing the fighters with the heaviest weaponry they could muster. Thus the fighters were struck and subsequently destroyed by all manner of armaments not normally used on such small targets. Anti-matter Missiles, Hand Grenades, Wrenches, Massive Energy Beams, and the like. Any that did get through were simply dealt with by the Faiths whose Gatling Mass Drivers simply shredded the remains.

Eventually it became a topic of discussion as to why it was that the Cassiopeians used materials that were ONLY as hard as diamond - Even their fighters were better armoured with simple fullerene weaves.

---Theed---
The Timberwolves were comfortably blowing gaping holes in the Cassiopeian fighters as they approached the base, neglecting to shake the Timberwolves at all, whilst the Hakurabi security forces moved to control the situation before the Cassiopeians gained any hint of an advantage.

The Gauss Rifle wielding snipers shot out the incoming missiles, as the offending fighters were dealt with by tailing Timberwolves - even if they would not risk using missiles at this range, the pulse lasers were more than enough to finish the job.

When Bankai appeared and drew his lightsaber, one of the snipers started yelling out "Hey! Wing boy! Go back to the hole you crawled out from!" and other remarks with the sole intent of distracting Bankai long enough for someone to put a bullet in his skull. Or something like that.

---Inside---
Chatter was heard in the corridoor leading up to the scene of the fight, which both Alex and Imperia were mildly aware of.

"...a little harsh?"

"Nonsense, it is what she had coming to her."

"But the process so cruel! Surely she deserves better than this!"

"It's the mos-"

The door opened, and Commandant GHKA, along with a nameless technician saw the carnage for the first time.

"Oh my go- HEY!"

GHKA grabbed what seemed to be an injector gun from the technician and leapt towards Imperia, a grim determination in his eyes.

An invisible wall suddenly sprang in front of the commandant as he tried to kill Imperia. Alex glared at the person who barged in on the conversation. "What possessed you to barge in on me. She and I were having a nice conversation!"

The nameless technician sighed. "Do you never listen? You ALWAYS explain first. Otherwise we get this sort of thing happening."

Then he turned to Alex.

"Right then, thanks for holding my commanding officer back before he goes and gets himself stabbed, and I think we owe you a bit of a brief on this thing."

GHKA looked a tad sheepish as he dusted himself off and handed the device back to the technician. "This is Doctor R. Willis, one of the scientists that came down with the prototypes for some sort of new nanite."

"Lead scientist, thank you very much. We should probably let you finish your little duel, but could you take her alive?" At this point it became quite clear that what had seemed to be one of the many technical grunts that kept things in working order actually outranked the Commandant. "I'll explain later, but it'll strip her permanently of any Force-Sensitivity or ability to manipulate it. Now, I think we should just wait quietly in the corner for you to be done."

The more the Sith have to concentrate on, the more the odds are stacked against them. If they have to worry about snipers, a fighter battle, and Maxie at the same time, their force abilities will be dulled as will their concentration. Just because YOU can't handle more than one opponent at the same time doesn't mean that you can simply ignore any other tactics.

Just as it's not wise to ignore a psychotic man wielding a formerly-known-as-a-fighter staff, it's also not wise to ignore even nameless sharpshooters.)

GHKA walked forward and restrained Imperia whilst Doctor Willis prepared the nanites, injecting them into the still struggling Imperia along with a small dose of sedatives. It wouldn't kill her, even in her weakened state, as the medical nanites (reprogrammed to eliminate all traces of the force from her) would purge them when the process was complete.

Now that Imperia was quite lucid indeed, (you've had your chance, and you blew it on your little 'armour ploy') Doctor Willis explained the process. "It's wholly irreversible, and it actually performs DNA surgery to permanently alter the genetic makeup of her."

---Outside---
The snipers, wanting to have a part to play in the demise of Cassiopeia's finest, (It's a called shot, not called damage.) shot out the Beam Apetures on Fang's lightsabers. Failing to recognise any threat was dangerous, and sharpshooters were no exception.

The 'Jedi-Killer' droids continued to be lased, blown up, shot, and smashed by the Hakurabi forces, who regarded the paltry attempt to create a mass-producable elite soldier as an insult.

A group of APR-40 wielding soldiers ran out of the facility and picked up Bankai's Lifeless Corpse (heavily sedated, just to be sure) and ran back in where a similar yet different procedure would be used to deal with him.

She soon Jumped to her Fleet and Charged at Daniel, Thowing some heavy objects at Maxie. Fang was going to make sure Danny Boy was as dead as The Dune Sea.

Maxie's reaction was as simple as it was blatantly obvious. Switching his grip on his staff with a subtle shift in stance, he whipped the staff around eight times and slammed every single one of the objects Fang had sent his way back at her with an initial velocity approaching somewhere around the initial speed of a cannonball. Indeed, a series of cataclysmic reports accompanied each impact, and three massive barrages of veritable flechette needles, resulting from the inevitable disintegration of the hurled debris, surged Fang's way.

As soon as his third swing went, he switched to a one-handed grip and charged forward, one hand extended slightly as if to snatch at Fang as quickly as possible.

The nearby soldiers clapped at Daniel's excellent impression of a Sith Lord.

As for Bankai, he would not be bothering anyone ever again, the transfer having been scattered by a passing Timberwolf, and causing Bankai to become totally insane. (Yes, I'm ignoring him too.)

A passing technician noted the current situation, and made several observations on the now unavoidable outcome, while a soldier yelled for Maxie not to touch Fang.

1) Fang's legs are made of metal.
2) Metal, by definition, is highly conductive.
3) Electricity only kills at 0.1 amps or above.
4) Lightning strikes at 30,000 amps.
5) Daniel is shooting lightning at Fang
6) Electricity will hit the nearest, most conductive material available.
7) Fang is in the air, legs down.

Therefore: The lightning will unavoidably strike Fang and cause her to instantly explode, showering the area in little Fang-Bits. However, taking into account Force-Based Resistance, she could also be perforated by the debris after being nearly killed by the lightning, with the net result being that the area is showered in little Fang-Bits.

Conclusion: The area will be showered in little Fang-Bits.

(OOC: Don't bother arguing the second point, Metal by definition is highly conductive.)

During that fateful day, where many of Cassiopeia's finest met their untimely and undeniably tragic end, Imperia was dealt a blow far worse than simple death. Her reputation had preceded her into the Coredian holding cells, and in an ultimate act of defiance she attempted to destroy the facility. However, when her plan failed to produce anything more than an impressive sound, she was stripped of her once formidable powers and indeed, her own being by the thousands of nanites injected into her system by the Hakurabi.

Following the battle, she awakened in the nearby city and the full meaning of her disability took hold. Drifting between seething anger and utter hopelessness, she attempted to drown her sorrows and herself in alcohol, desperately trying to reclaim some lonely fragment of her now lost glory. In Coredia her notoriety was known to all, and she was regularly cursed and jeered during her stay in Coredia. Eventually, however, she chanced to come across a sympathetic support group, and to some extent overcame her lust for power long departed.

She finally left Coredia a few years later, moving from planet to planet, hoping to find one where her terrible past was not known. Eventually leaving the quadrant, she found refuge in a backwater agricultural planet in a tiny village. In her last years, she finally came to terms with her past, and died a peaceful death watching the sun set for the last time. Her passing was mourned by few, but those of the village remember her to this day.

One must wonder, though, if she had not regained some small measure of her power through her redemption.

I slid a good thirty meters before coming to a stop. I ignored the pain of the blow and got back up, wiping away blood that trickled from my lips. "Heh. Not bad."

The twenty soldiers started picking up the bits and pieces and carting Darth Bankai's lifeless corpse off in a body bag. They stayed well clear of Maxie and Fang.

Instead of going up to bat again, Maxie let her throw the various objects at him, and sprinted forward. A sharp piece of debris struck him in the head, leaving a healthy gash along his right temple, but he ignored it as if it never happened, and for dedicated observers it would have been readily apparent that his wound was regenerating at a phenomenal speed. He didn't even twitch an eyebrow as he brought his staff around for a slam into Fang's sword-arm.

OOC: Fairly certain its color doesn't matter.

Maximillian's staff impacted the lightsaber like a kinetic rod being dropped from orbit. The impact of the clashing weapons alone would likely have been enough to leave Fang's left arm numb, possibly even breaking a wrist bone or two from the sheer kinetic force. The sheer density of the staff, and Maximillian's telekinetic reinforcement of the weapon, prevented Fang's lightsaber from burning even a minor divot in the staff itself.

Without pause, Maximillian reversed his grip and swung about, bringing the staff screaming down inside the reach of Fang's lightsaber from below, in an attempt to not only shatter Fang's elbow, but to send the lightsaber itself flying.

It would have been a good plan indeed.

If Maxie had not used her jump as an opportunity to pole-vault directly after her, coming to a landing at exactly the same time she did and in such a manner that his staff whirled about to thunder down in a strike at the shoulder of her sword arm.

The thrown Hakurabi Soldiers were understandably angry at being lobbed at one of their allies. They did have their revenge, however, as one of the flying soldiers had managed to blow a hole in Fang's Lightsaber whilst wildly firing. (OOC: Force-Throwing soldiers is really a called damage, due to the nature of force, so take this as the 'trade off' for using an unblockable move.)

The funny thing was, Fang had also assumed that Maxie would be the only one watching her, and did not keep track of the patrolling soldiers and technicians who were also keeping an eye on the battle. On the contrary, Shah'reek were not all that hard to kill, and were only as difficult as it was to kill anything else.

Even if killing or otherwise disabling her risked invoking the wrath of Maxie, that did not mean that she only had to worry about him.

Of course, anger was a sound plan for defeat, and she would be all the more susceptible to baiting. The only problem was that Max was almost impossible to predict and thus any ploy to influence the outcome of the battle needed to be carefully planned and with as little disruption as possible.

(Obviously, Fang does NOT know this, and NO, you may NOT mind-read the soldiers. You also MAY NOT use any type of 'x-ray' vision on the crate. And another thing, before you try it - the Crate and surroundings are Force Jammed. Totally immune to reverse engineering, too.)

The soldiers walked into the building, appropriated one of the high security crates, filling it with spare tools and a few chemically fueled pistols (You know, the MT ones) rigged with LEDs and a datacube with a copy of 'Tetris' loaded onto it, along with a Super Star Destroyer design taken from an obscure history book.

They then started hauling the crate outside, with HIGH SECURITY emblazoned in bright yellow lettering on the side. They left it a short distance outside the base and hoped Maxie would know what to do. Just in case, the snipers watched it carefully.

Maxie noted the crate emerging from the building as he charged after the increasingly incapacitated Fang, staff whirling so swiftly it seemed to be in several places at once.

A slight smirk crossed his face for but an instant. Fang was already falling victim to enough distractions, and one more only made his efforts to feed easier, though he hardly required the assistance. This one was strong in the force indeed, to hurl people and portions of buildings as easily as one would hurl sticks and stones. But the poor girl just didn't have the skills he did. Thousands of years of constant battle went into honing his combat style, battles against enemies of all species and all walks. It had been years since his last feeding...

He closed in on Fang with a swipe towards her left flank in a strike at her hip, but he stopped short and brought the other end of his staff around in a lightning-quike jab at her sternum.

He was getting close now, and he was hungry...

If Fang was to die, then she would take the monster with her to Conalaui (OOC:The Palace of Fallen Warriors in Shah'reek Legend.) and fight in the Afterworld of The Force to the end of time.

Attempting to throw the lightsaber at the same time as his staff struck home threw off her aim somewhat, though even with his lightning quick dodge, the damn thing got him right in the left eye, emerging from just above his left ear.

He twitched slightly, dropping the staff. Then reached up to deactivate and remove the lightsaber. For all accounts and purposes he did not seem in the least pained, more... enraged.

He reactivated the lightsaber, but instead of slicing it at the critically wounded Fang, his free hand darted forward, latching onto her neck with tremendous force, though not in such a manner that she could not breathe. For both involved, it felt as if some form of electric current was now established between the two of them. The regeneration of Maximillian's wound picked up by an order of magnitude and his grin suddenly switched to its normal Shark-toothed glory.

For Fang however, a different story would be told. First she would know only pure agony, then her fingers and toes would go numb, then her hands and feet, and progressively onward until she could feel nothing but the pain around his hand. Vision would blur, hearing would fade, the heart would fail, mental activity would stop. Fang's life would simply come to an abrupt and painful permanent halt.

"I am a Phage, a vampire that feeds on the very aspects of the universe. I am the Phage of Life, and I am a SoulTaker Vampire. You are strong indeed! So much vitality! You are indeed a hearty feast!"

He reached down to remove the rest of her lightsabers, keeping two but crushing the rest in his free hand. No escape would be offered...

Maximillian was hungry. He would not be denied.

Maxie had found one of the few things that could kill a Shah'reek very Fast, electric Shock. Fang Screamed one last time, Actvateing a Thremal Bomb in her Armor. She soon closed her eyes as she soon disappeared, becoming one with the Force.

The Bomb soon started counting down..........56 seconds to Blow up time.

OOC: Its not an electrical shock per se. Just the establishment of the conduit he needs to absorb Fang's life energy. He's pretty much draining her of her life force and her soul entire. Technically, she won't be able to become one with the force as when she dies, there won't be enough force in her, unless I have the concept mixed up and that one-with-the-force bit happens to a jedi regardless of latent force power...

Her life drained to the last, Maxie stood up and roared into the darkening sky. His muscles bulged, his eyes gleamed, and his skin rippled with the infusion of life energy into his own. The roar itself echoed off nearby mountains, set birds to flight, animals to fleeing, and babies in towns up to thirty miles away to crying inexplicably.

He threw the remnants of her body off to the side and walked away. Somebody else could pick the rest of her gear up later. Back into the base he went, not in the least annoyed that he had missed the executions...

(OOC: I think Maxie's finisher ends with a fate worse than death, and I doubt she would even be given the luxury of becoming one with the force. The Force is the 'life force' of someone, and it's just been devoured by Maxie.)

The soldiers were stunned by Maxie's revelation, and caught between horror and applause for his actions. Surely no-one deserved this! They had little enough time to decide as they suddenly became aware of a low beeping sound when the timer had dropped to the forty second mark. Aware of Imperia's earlier ploy, they deduced quickly that the bomb was somewhere in her armour and it would need to be disposed of.

35...

They made a frantic scan for any obvious signs of the explosive in the armour.

30...

They became acutely aware that there was no time to disarm the explosive, and began stripping down Fang's lifeless corpse.

25...

Some technicians arrive and hurry with the others to remove Fang's armour.

20...

The final piece of her armour, the breastpiece was removed.

15...

The pieces were seperated and the technicians set to work trying to extract the bomb from the breastpiece (It's the only place it's practical to put a bomb)

5...

"Found It!"

4...

There was no time to lose, and it was impossible to take the bomb out in four seconds.

3...
2...
1...

The detonator went off with a disappointing thud. The bomb was too integrated to remove, but the primer had been partially pulled out and the resultant explosion was not enough to detonate the suicide device.

One of the technicians passed out.

The soldiers began to pick up Fang's equipment and body, taking it off for analysis. Her autopsy and testing would provide valuable information about Shah'reek physiology, and she was a fresh specimen, one that had yet to experience decay.

She was zipped up into a body bag and her equipment into boxes, both having being checked thoroughly for contingency plans (That means that the booby traps have already been disarmed), and taken to a Hakurabi Research Complex for an autopsy.
