(OOC: Okay, a little build up, Palixia- a Conservative Theocratic nation had been taken over by a group of Liberals (the Palixian Liberation Force) and the old PM Robert Plant resigned, leaving the state in shock, soon a group of Conservative Theocrats formed their own seperatists republic called The Floydian Empire of Palixia, or Southern Palixia, and now the nation is in a Civil War...Southern Palixia vs. Northern Palixia whos side are you on you Liberal/Conservative/Theocratic/Commie/Neo-Nazi/Facists)... and now for some IC

Jean Martin's military was large, about 21 million troops much larger then Southern Palixia's 2 million, about 15,000 people have died on both sides so far. Southern Palixia was forced to use guerilla tactics due to their muscg smaller amount of troops. The Theocrats are determind to take the nation and are starting to suceed. The old capital of Clamptown in the South had been taken, the capital of the north was now located in a small town called San Juan Paul. All of Palixia was fading away, once, the motto had been "Long live thy nation, for Conservatives and Liberals both" but now the peace was broken...

The Leader of South Palixia had just recived his supplies from DMG, which included Respitory Anthrax, and an Apocolypse missle, which could very well destroy 2 cities in Northern Palixia, they sent a letter to Northern Palixia

To Prime Minister Jean Martin,
We would like to warn you, that we have a nuclear weapon that can destoy 2 cities, we would not like to use is as we would kill our own men, but if you do not surrender soon, we will use it, we will tell you everything we currently own that is of danger, we own 2 kilograms of Respitory Antrax, 2 kilograms of VX gas and the nuclear weapon we informed you about, please surrender and give Palixia back to Robert Plant, please respond or we will use the VX gas.

IC: We will send a Red Cross Division, as well as convoys of medical supplies for the next 8 NS years. Our legislation is at this moment voting for a monetary aide resolution. Should military support be necessary, we will take legislative action to decide upon it immediately.

Military aid will be given to the Northern Palixians, should the Southern Palixians use any form of chemical, biological, or nuclear weaponry.

Remington scanned the reply of the Palixia rebels. He was more than a little amused, these Palixian Rebels (which they would be known as) were outnumbered at least three-to-one, yet they want to dictate what kind of support we being given to them. Clearly they lacked common sense, but in time Jagada would teach them. For now the most important task was preventing Northern Palixia from overrunning the south. He had already summoned Field Marshall York, whom these days was quiet and looked much older than he was, to the Chamber of Eternity (the Emperor's throne room).

"Can we assist them?" asked Remington.

"Yes sire, though it will take many lives. I expect at least half a million dead. So you should prepare for a political backlash,"stated York grimly.

"Don't worry about the domestic front, just the front lines--Field Marshall,"stated Remington.

"Yes sire," said York, "Should I prepare to move out then?"

"Yes, procede, I expect great things from you York just don't let another mistake happen like the last one," stated Remington.

With that York bowed and backed out of the Chamber of Eternity to leave the Emperor to his business. As he walked down the hall, York sighed; must had happened in the last few years the fall of the Commonwealth, the fall of Norris, and the rise of the Imperium. He had played a critical role in all of it, having lost his family and then most of his friends during the civil war. The burden upon his heart was great, that burden was the ever present fact that he was the one who executed Hunter Norris, the last Highest Minister of the Commonwealth. He had every righ to execute Norris, personally, after Norris executed his family yet he could not bring himself to come to peace about it. The only thing that would relieve his heavy heart and strained mind would be the planning of the operation in Palixia. He would redeem himself--by any means nessecary.

For the entire fiscal year, the Ackerenian Legislation argued, debated, and filibustered over the "Palixian Decision".

Now, it was time for the Prime Minister to make the address to the nation.

Many watched in anticipation:

" Fellow Ackerenians....as we know, we were faced with a powerful decision. Palixia...a nation of great civil strife as of now, has been given our help of medical equipment and; as of 3:28 pm, financial support.

I realize however, that the question on our minds...is whether we will officially go to war on the side of the Southern Palixians.

Though we would like to never see the dogs of war again, we must remember all 10 million of our own, whom died fighting in our own Civil War.
We must remember how these men and women, though fought for an ideal completely opposed to ours....did just that....they fought for what was in their minds right and just. They wanted the government to respond, and reluctantly we didn't.

And now, 10 million Ackerenians will never enjoy the same luxuries or comforts as you. They will never see their children, nor will their children ever be the same.

So I ask of you. Wouldn't you have rathered had the support and aid of a fellow country? Couldn't have many precious lives been saved?

Ackerenia is no longer a nation of isolationist feelings. We will push forth and continue to fight extremism and tyrrany. Ackerenia will be the refuge of peaceful men....and the reckoning of those who require justice.

As the tv's of many homes turned off, the Parliament of the Commonwealth met once more....
