Today the tiny nation of Kot Diji was rocked by 3 car bombs in the national capital of Kot Diji. 450 people were killed in the blast most of them civilians.
The Prime Minister, Guy Silly, was killed in one of the blasts which occurred:
in front of a packed nightclub and killed all inside, in front a popular restaurant causing death and serious injury to the patrons, and in front of the Sunshine Resort and Spa a favorite destination for foriegn tourists and often frequented by the Prime Minister who went there to pick up on foreign chicks. Many foreigners were killed and mamed at the resort blast.
So far, the obscure Al Faqwa has claimed responsibility. In a note left at the site, Al Faqwa leader, Abdul Mohammed, demanded the government of the new nation resign, that the people of Kot Diji accept strict sharia under strict islamic rule. He further demanded that women who did not wear veils be shot on site and that all foriegners must leave Kot Diji.
Kot Diji, having no military, is caught with its pants down with no way to respond to the terrorists. Their police aren't even armed, having just been recruited this morning.
Mohammed threatened more death and destruction if the people of Kot Diji refused to adopt his radical form of Islamic government.

Al Faqwa has struck again. Insurgents wearing all black clothes, ski masks, black goggles, and sporting AK 47's have stormed a preschool and shot up the place, killing the staff and the children.
The terrorists were reportedly seen speeding from the scene in a white Chevrolet van with no license plate.
Mohammed sent a report to news stations saying the killing of the children was to punish their parents for not adopting Islamic rule.
The witnesses to the incident have fled town in fear for their own lives.

Early this morning, a suitcase packing heavy explosives exploded inside a church during worship services. The church was filled to capacity due to some member of the surrounding area deciding to convert to the Christian faith.
A note left at the scene by the perpetrators stated the attack was carried out to punish people for believing in a false religion. As with the other notes it demanded that Kot Diji adopt a radical islamist government.

The attack has upset the people who are angry at the inability of the government to do anything about the terrorists. Many people are beginning to call for acquisence to the terrorists demands so as to prevent further bloodshed. An equal number are against giving in to the terrorists.

Due to the continuing attacks and the increasing public pressure for action and our lack of ability to respond credibly to the terrorists attacks and threats, the government of Kot Diji formally requests and accepts all offers of outside assistance including the deployment of spec ops and counter terrorism forces. Be it known however, that the home governments of such forces must accept that as long as their people are in Kot Diji soil, they are to obey all Kot Diji laws.

I am horrified to think of these radical "sickos" would attack an innocent young country trying to assert itself in the world. My country is on another planet quite a distance away from Earth (four days by FTL travel) and because so much goes on on earth, I always have three starships (three Arian Class Battlecruisers to be exact) in cloaked orbit. These have full crew complement as well as a full medical staff for each one. We recieved information that while on your soil we should obey your countrys law, we will do so but we ask what the law states about shoot to kill policy and kidnapping terrorists etc

The people of Chitzeland were in outrage. Anti-terrorist and anti-Muslim demonstrations were carried out in every city. Crowds gathered in the thousands protesting the terrorist attacks, burning effigies of the terrorists. The news has reported on an incident in Providence in which a mob seized an Arab tourist and decapitated him on the spot with a pocket knife. The terrorist attacks had caused the long standing hatred between Chitzeland and her Muslim neighbors to reach a boiling point. President Copeland knew he had to take action if he was to remain in good standing with his citizens.

A larger than usual crowd had gathered for the Sunday marching demonstration at the Academy. President Copeland, who normally watched the demonstration while drinking wine in the north tower, was positioned at a podium on the steps of the Academy. Surrounded by assorted generals and camera crews, President Copeland addressed his people.

“My fellow Chitzis, the vile Muslim dogs are once again advancing on our land. It is up to us to save ourselves. For too long we have stood back and watched while the Muslim invaders have slaughtered mercilessly in the name of their demonic deity. We must take a stand against this Muslim imperialism, even if it means war.

“The land of Kot Diji has been stricken with a terrible plague. It is our duty to cure them and prevent their disease from spreading. Remember, my fellow Chitzis, the Muslims will not stop until they have swallowed the entire world.

The crowd was in ecstasy, jumping up and down with careless frivolity, yelling and applauding. President Copeland did a short wave, and turned to disappear into the Academy.

And a school bus full of elementary school age children has been taken hostage with the extremists threatening to kill the children unless the government renounces its permission for foreign troops to enter Kot Diji. There are 45 children on the bus, all they scared and crying. Frightened parents are being kept away by the ill trained police force for their own safety. On board the bus is the Prime Minister's own daughter who the terrorists are not allowing him to speak to. The most we are getting is the children having their faces pushed against the windows of the bus with a gun pointed at them as the muslim extremists scream something in the muslimic language.
Again, Abdul Mohammed sent another message saying the children will be spared if all foriegn forces turn back and Kot Diji and its neighbors agree to submit to radical islamist rule.

In Chitzeland, over 400,000 troops were being rallied for the largest military operation to be undertaken by Chitzeland in seventy years. Transport ships gathered in Automati to depart for the shores of Kot Diji. The transports were to be escorted by a portion of the fleet, under the command of Admiral Lavergne.

Marching demonstrations have been continuing around the clock in Providence following President Copeland’s approval of a propaganda campaign. Chitzeland was ready to purge the terrorists from the land of Kot Diji.

"Thankyou for granting FutureEngland forces military control of the hostage situation this is on a secure line the terrorists wont know what we are doing, we plan for FE Black Ops to have snipers on roof surrounding the bus if we see one terrorist go for a kid the snipers will fire and ground black ops teams will move in we hope to secure the area without any civilian casualitys, they also request to do a few raids on houses they suspect of harbouring terrorists. Ships carrying the first forty-thousand of Chitzi soldiers docked in a small port town of Kot Diji. More were scheduled to arrive in the coming hours. One ship, the Tiger, dwarfed them all. The Tiger was one of the fleets Gigasanic class fleet carriers. It was from here the Field Marshal Smith was to direct the initial stages of the campaign.

Troops began filing out of the ships and directed to their temporary stations by their superior officers. Tanks, such as the HT-64 MBT and the LT-30, crawled out of the underbellies of the ships. Trucks hauling artillery as well as troop carrying AT-45's rumbled out into the town.

The troops, relieved that the terrorists had not set up positions against them in the town, began gathering near an AT-45. A sergeant of apparently high rank stepped up on to the vehicle's roof and began issuing orders.

"This is directly from Field Marshal Smith: You are to systematically check each and every house for possible signs of terrorist activities. Anyone who seems suspicious is to be arrested, anyone who resists to be shot. We are setting up artillery positions at this port. If you find any positions of stalwart resistance, then call down the artillery fire. While this is going on, we are using paramilitary forces and aircraft to scout out positions outside of this town for us to proceed to next.

"That's our orders, but before we begin blowing in the skulls of these towelheads, lets have a drink!"

A ramp on the back of the AT-45 fell down, and some men began rolling kegs into out in front of the soldiers, who dove at it like starving beasts.

Other, less fortunate, men began working on defensive structures, machine gun nests, and artillery placement as well as preparing the port for the more ships to come.

After a couple hours of drinking and gambling festivities, the commanding officers coaxed the men into beginning their dangerous task.

As the foreign soldiers entered the house, the house disintegrated in a huge explosion. Later investigators would find traces of C4, wire, and the remains of a rigged cell phone.

Hearing of the explosion that killed eleven troops, Colonel Ferral called a meeting with some of his sergeants to discuss how to prevent such an attack from happening again.

"Sir, this attack probably happened because our troops are just searching house to house. The terrorists probably saw us coming from down the street and planted the bomb there. We need to be more random in our searches."

"No, we need to stop this problem where it starts. If the terrorists can have a place to meet to recuperate and plan their next attack, then we will see less attacks. Find out a place where terrorists like to hide out.”

“A typical meeting place for these terrorists would be in mosques, sir.”

“All right, then. I want all mosques that show any evidence of Islam destroyed. Also, make our patterns of building searching less predictable.”

Our government protests your forces attacks on the mosques.
These actions do nothing but help the terrorists recruit more people to their side.
For the well being of Kot Diji society we ask that you not attack mosques unless you have definate proof that terrorists are attacking your forces from them.

"This day is a day that will never, ever, be forgotten. It was, in the words of one commentator, a moment in which history splits, and is defined as the world "before" and "after". We send our sympathy for the very many victims and our condemnation of the barbarous acts of terrorism. A nameless subordinate walked in to Field Marshal Smith’s office and handed Smith the message from FutureEngland.

Field Marshal Smith read the transmission and began writing a response:

“I think we have a misunderstanding here. We are thoroughly searching the mosques that we destroy, and before we destroy them we make sure that there is indeed evidence of regular Muslim meetings there. Our evidence is not ambiguous. We have found Qu’rans, as well as other stuff written in Arabic chicken scratch, in the mosques. This is a clear sign that there are regular terrorist meetings in the building. If I find anything that will lead us to more secret hideouts or plans for future attacks, I will not hesitate to let you know, but so far we have not found anything. We must not wait in destroying hideouts such as these.”


Field Marshal Smith sent the message to the proper authorities of FutureEngland. He then called General Stein.

“How is it going?”

“Perfect, Field Marshal. Although I must admit, these terrorists are more dug in than we thought. So far every mosque we have checked has had to be destroyed by artillery fire. That being said, the city is almost completely checked. We have imprisoned around four hundred suspicious persons and killed twenty three. Our troops are facing little resistance in the area after the initial bomb that killed eleven troops. Our troops in Kot Diji now number one hundred thousand, and we have constructed a large air field southeast of the city. We need to begin mapping out our plans for moving further in the country.”

“Yes, good to hear. Very good.”
