Unrest in Monaco
MONACO, FROM OUR REPORTER- In the past days, Monaco and the Monegasque Government have seen some unrest in the streets of Monte Carlo. As far as the Unrest leads, no Riots have broke out, or buildings have been destroyed. the order was kept by the Monegasque Police, which is unsure of the origin of the Unrest. in the last days, several policiers have been beaten up and thrown on the streets, aswell as some Royal guards on leave. The Monegasque government has issued an open letter to the population, and asks them to calm down, and not to worry about the Civil unrest. following the words of our expert, the Monegasque Government is just saying that they don't care. if anything will happen, you will always read it here first, keep tuned.
Monte Carlo
The truck slowly accelerated in the busy traffic. if one looked closely, he would see a truck with the print of a local valuable transport company, which was manned by three men in the cabin of the truck. if that same person had looked even closer, he would have seen a very unusual thing. the guards were amred with FN FAL Assault rifles. it wasn't a thing that was to be encountered on a normal transport.
In that truck, Reginault de Monace-Van Luxemburg looked through the busy traffic at the Monegasque palace. It was quiet at the Palace. he looked at his watch. 5 minutes before 12 o'clock, noon. if they were lucky, they catched up with the changing of the guard. they weren't there to see it. no, they were on their way to disturb it. it had been seen as one of the weakest points of the Monegasque guard. when he looked in his rearview mirror, Reginault saw two MPV's driving behind their vehicle. those vehicles, aswell as this one, were loaded with his loyalists, and were to capture the Monegasque palace. if they had that, they had Monaco. finally.
The three vehicles arrived at the Palace at 12 o'clock precisely. just when the trumpeters began to play, the 24 men, including Reginault, stormed out. they ran over the large open space and approached the guards from the side. the guards however, had seen what was going on and aimed their Bolt-action rifles. at that point, everything happened quicker and quicker. the loyalists aimed their FN FAL's, and one fired a shot, hitting a guard. the Guards answered fire, seemingly confused. a few holes appeared in one of the MPV's, but the Loyalists stayed unhurt. thereafter, the guards were quickly took and disarmed, and the group bashed the palace doors. a group of four men got inside, and returned quickly with the message that Reginault was the Grand Duke of Monaco.
"Marc, try that door!" Reginault shouted at his second. he was trying the door on the right, which had been locked.
"Now, how should we open that door?" Reginault looked around the hallway, which was filled with old Renaissance relics.
"This maybe? We can ram the door with it" Bruno pointed at one of the harnasses, holding a pike, with an axe attached to it.
"excellent Idea, Bruno. I'll give you a position later"
Reginault walked towards the harnass, and pulled the pike put of it's hands. he then got over to the opposite side of the hall and stormed at the door. with a huge bang the door collapsed, and the four men stormed the inside. in it was the (former) legitimate Government of Monaco. they were quickly brought out of the room, and forced to sign a paper, at gunpoint. in it was the declaration that they would leave the government of Monaco to Grand Duke Reginault, and, in very small letters, that they were to be banned.
"okay, get them outside. their boat is waiting"
(OOC: this is only the easiest part of my operation, the harder parts are coming soon.)
Jakob Hansen, a Norwegian citizen who lived in Monaco and officially worked as an assistant to a lawyer in Avenue d' Octende next to the International Hydrographic Organization building, overlooking the port of Monaco. Unofficially, he was employed by FO/E, the Norwegian Intelligence Service. Right now, he was standing outside the Palace, looking at the rebels storming with FN FALs and shooting a guard. Something was definately up, so he pulled back a bit and picked up his cellphone.
From the outside, it looked like a ordinary Nokia 8800, but it most certainly wasn't. It was fitted with a state-of-the-art cryptation system, thin as a paper which fitted under the battery, which also was modified to last far longer than normal batteries. As Hansen called FO/E outside Oslo in Norway, the cryptation device kicked in and cryptated the signal so no-one without the decoding device could listen in.
"Authorization?" the voice that answered asked.
"1-4-0-7-8-7-4-5-3-8-0." Hansen answered, and was immediately connected to the officer in charge of him. "We've got a situation in Monaco. Someone's attempting a cóup-de-tat. Approximately twenty or more men stormed the palace and shot one guard, at least. They're armed with what seems to be FN FALs. Situation still ongoing."
The officer in Norway nodded and wrote it down, told Hansen to keep an eye out and call if something changed, and then rushed to the Duty Officer with his news. This would get to the Prime Minister very quickly!
OOC: I hope you don't mind, but I used to own Monaco, so it's entirely plausible that I have people there. They won't do anything other than to report back to Norway what happens.

Military Personell on Johnston Atoll drops weapons, declares solidarity with Monegasque Revolt
MONACO, FROM OUR REPORTER - Today, in a surprising action by Military Forces, they declared solidarity with the New Monegasque Government, and have put up the respective flags on Johnston Atoll. they refused to abide to Military orders and have took over all facilities and vehicles. at that moment, a C-130H with therein a military taskgroup was also pulled into the revolt on Johnston Atoll. Governments have shown no interests as of now, as they fear that other remote Military bases, aswell as bases close-by will revolt too, following the text written by our military expert. the Monegasque Authorities have announced to be pleased with the forces on Johnston Atoll and has promised to arrange their Payment. At this time there are no further complications in the Monegasque revolt.
(OOC: I'm not sure what Polep had stationed here, so I'm just assuming that there are US forces on the island. this is also for Comoros, which is next up.)

Monaco
Grand Duke Reginault stood above the map. it was a map which showed a few islands, marked "Comoros". it was marked with several markers, in different colours, aswell as some directional arrows, coming from the sea. they were marked Armd. 1 to 3, and again in different colours.
"then, we advance towards to the Capital, Moroni. this should be done by our Special forces and...." while reginault was still pointing out where all the arrows were heading, Bruno looked at him.
"Sir, we don't have any Special forces, neither we do have enough weapons to supply our men"
Reginault looked up, as he was disturbed. he had waited for this question.
"Our Force is counting some 500 men, including the men on Johnston. they have the weapons, M4's and M16's, to fight the Comorans. my Loyalists are our Special Forces, so you're gonna see some action too. our Airforce, the 13 ordered aircraft, cannot reach Comoros from Johnston. we recovered an old KC-130 refueler from Johnston, and will be flying that to refuel our Eurofighters and the F-4's. it should be easey, after the vehicles and aircraft have been delivered and we've fixed the KC-130, as it isn't in the best state possible...." Reginault looked at Bruno, and then looked back at the map.
"So what's wrong with that KC-130 then?" Bruno asked curiously.
"Well, w've got a non=working refueling installation, two of the main engines aren't working and there's a huge hole in the side. we need to repair that. then we can fully operate Johnston AFB."

Johnston Atoll
The C-130H slowly began to lift from the airstrip, and turned follwoing the right course and airspeed to reach Comoros. in the aircraft were parts of the complement on Johnston Atoll, to be fllown towards Comoros, which was to be invaded by Monegasque troops. The Monegasque Security Force was quite a bunch of ill-equipped men and not enough materials, but they had a good chance of winning from the Comoros Security Troops. they had the most advanced materials, after all. in the cargo space was an Leopard 2A6EX, newly bought. Colonel John Rasper stood up while he looked at his troops. those where now paratroops, but they formerly were just guards. anyways, they have had a short training on parachutes and should be able to participate in the invasion.
some hours later, the Hercules was above the dropzone.
"Okay men, these are our orders, we capture Moroni, in order to get our further shipment. this is a surprise attack, so be careful. wait until the green light burns, and then jump. that was all"
a few small coasters were due to arrive from Monaco and Johnston Atoll the day after their jump, and they then had to have the port of Moroni aswell as the airport, to ensure they had superiority over the Comoran Security Forces.
"For Monaco! Green Light! Green Light! JUMP!"
one after eachother, the men jumped off, while the Hercules was making a turn to lower altitude, in order to drop the packages which had the parts of the Leopard tank in it.
Comoros
The Parachutes slowly whirled downwards. under them was the city of Moroni. from the Parachute, you had a great view of the city under you. Sadly enough, they weren't here for the great view. Rasper checked his gear. the FN FAL was okay. he had been issued a FN FAL rifle to ensure he could paradrop without the large M16 in his hands. but, he was the only one with the weapon.
under him, a small group of people had gathered to look at what was happening. there also was some Security, and they had already called up reinforcements. the slow BTR-152 vehicles slowly moved through the city, to look out for some lost paratroops, in order to arrest them.
Somewhat outside of the city, the Leopard had been assembled and crewed. it now slowly moved forward, towards Moroni. together with 4 squads, it would make contact with all the other paratroops. the tank moved by, with the squads seated on it or walking up with it. as the tank slowly progressed, the Comorans had sent their reconaissance vehicles. the 6 BRDM and the 8 Shorland armoured reconaissances drove over the road, on the opposite side as the Leopard was progressing.
"Targets inbound, 14 vehicles, unknown, Comoros"
The Commander of the tank mentioned to the gunner that there were hostile forces moving in, which was actually unneeded. the gunner had already seen them. The Turret began turning, and the gun was stabilized. the gunner aimed for the first vehicle in the row , a BRDM. The tank gun slammed back and fired the projectile. after less than a second, the BRDM was ripped of the road, lifted by an invisible arm and thrown against the Shorland armoured vehicle driving behind it. The other vehicles stopped, while the turrets of them began to move towards where the shot came from. while the gunner was reloading in the leopard, one bullet slammed against the front of the vehicle, leaving a broken light. the Machinegunner answered fire, with the Co-axial and AA Machineguns, spitting line of bullets against the vehicles. the 14.5mm machinegun of the BRDM's could do some damage against the tanks, but didn't stood a chance against the 120mm main gun of the Leopard 2. the gun fired again, smashing one Shorland off the road, into the dirt. thereafter, the resting 11 vehicles surrendered, with white shirts used as flags. they were quickly made POW's by the Monegasque forces, and drivers of the Monegasque Army took over while the squads mounted themselves on the vehicle together with the POW's.
Some time later, they entered the capital of Comoros. as soon as they left the sign with "Moroni" on it behind them, the sound of firearms became clear to the ears of the Monegasque forces. it started as soon as they drove past a crossroad, where Monegasque Paratroops were pinned down by a BTR-152 APC'with it's crew. an RPG zipped past the Leopard, and barely missed the BTR-152 before slamming into a traffic light. the RPG'er was quickly shot by the 7.62mm machinegun on one of the captured BRDM's, while the Machinegunner of the Leopard opened fire on the BTR-152. holes appeared on the sides, showing that the BTR-152 was weakly armoured. one of the Monegasque Paratroops stormed the vehicle, and jumped in. at that moment, noth the Monegasque and Comoran vehicles stopped firing. three shots were fired, and the Paratrooper came out with a bunch of Comoran Security Force members.
"this part is secured, next up is the port. We suspect that there is the least part of the Comorans stationed, as we took out a whole bunch on the way down here, I suspect the Major part is at the International Airport"
Monaco
At the Grand Ducal Palace, everything was quiet. only the Loyalist guards and the Grand Duke were there. the Grand Duke was worried. He had now johnston Atoll, aswell as monaco, but the Comorans were putting up a fight. he had lost some 5 men in the battle, of the 2 squads which had been dropped in Moroni. no forces had been lost with the 4 squads scheduled to meet up with them, however. it was a big difference that those 2 squads in Moroni carried the most obsolete weapons. it became clear to him. they would need a sturdy, uniformed firearm, and where could you get it better than in the international community? he fired up his PC and started with a letter to all nations.

Monaco
As the Norwegian weapons arrived, they were quickly sent through to Johnston Atoll and Comoros, to be in time for combat operations. only some AG-3A2's and AG-4's stayed in Monaco for the equipment of the Loyalist guard and some local military forces. The rest was loaded onto naval combatants and sent through to Comoros and Johnston. as soon as they would arrive, the Grand Duchy of Monaco would have acquired some old Norwegian aircraft to protect it's soil and will sent them through to battle the small, inefficient airforce of Comoros. though, it was all too late....
Comoros surrenders, Monegasque Forces acquire Comoros Islands
MONORI, FROM OUR REPORTER- Today, after several days of battle, the Comoran government and Armed Forces surrendered when the Port of Monori fell. this has been a quite unsurprising move by the Comoran government, as it was already strongly weakened and desillusioned. the Armed Forces have surrendered and have transferred their equipment to the Monegasques. Grand Duke Reginault called this victory "Great, but not very sportsmanlike" and declared to go on a visit to Comoros in a few days. unconfirmed rumours say that Monegasque forces are already preparing for their next invasion. this stays, as said, unconfirmed, and it is not known were they will head.
