Closed War Games Invite Only
General Frederick Johnson strictly glared at the infantrymen sweating at the position of attention. "At ease men, Now these are war games, therefore there will be no actual physical contact between the two factions. If you so much as consider attacking another soldier with an actual weapon or in CQB, I will personally kill you and everyone you hold dear do you understand?"
"Sir, yes, sir!!"
"Move, out!!"
3rd platoon grabbed thier gear and moved into the thick forest.
1st General Manfred von Frankreich stood in front of the 1st division and explained the situation, "alright men these are war games you know the rules If even one of you uses a weapon to try and hurt a living thing I will personally make sure that you go straight to jail, got that"
"Yes General"
"Now suit up and get into Formation 2"
3rd Platoon moves through the trees, marching in an arrowhead formation. After two hours of marching the commander calls a halt.
The commanding officer shouted, "Sniper groups disperse into the trees, Platoon, we rest here for an hour, get something in your stomach, get off your feet, and keep a watch out for the enemy, this is war games but remember, if you die in this, you'll most certainly die in combat, so do your best, your representing your country,"
SGM Geoffory Turner crept through the trees and set up a concealed position. He put an electronic tracer bullet in his rifle and snapped the bolt shut.
"I am the rock, ... I breathe slowly..., I wait for my prey....."
1st divison moved into the forest and continued to march for 1 hour and 30 minutes untill they came upon a part of the forest where the land began to drop it was here that General Frankreich ordered the heavy weapons to stay and have the high ground. The General then ordered his sharpshooters to scatter through the forest in a semi circle pattern and "set up shop." Finnaly the General ordered the Troops to rest upon the high ground and fill up on food and water before more marching.
Private Luke Childs of the Sharpshooters slowly moved down the valley to set up shop. while Private First Class Sven Tran moved upon the ridge and began setting up support fire.
One hour later, 3rd Platoon marched through the forest, they continued onto a part of the forest that seemed to rise steeply upward. THey almost headlong collided into an enemy patrol but seemed to have gone unnoticed. They faded into the wood and began entrenching themselves.
The sniper took careful aim at the soldier at the front of the patrol. If they noticed anything it would be his job to eliminate as many enemies as possible. He breathed deeply and took aim.
CSM Derick Forden dug a foxhole and set up his Mx-22-4 Light Machine gun.
Where there's a patrol, there's a main force following it.
