Hakurabi, how wide is the FTLinhibition field? A couple dozen AU?

I made the Ant-FTLi to make sure that a Fleet could (and Can) go though a FTLi Field, which shows that when you have Defenses, someone can find a way around them:)

I found a way around FTLi myself, but it also has tactical consequences. If you attempt to jump right into orbit and begin some form of bombardment, you had better be ready to have your butt pinned between the planet and the defending fleet, both of which will be eating you alive in the crossfire.

Well I've got Anti-FTLi!
Then I use my Anti-FTLi Disruptor! There!

And so on. It would degenerate QUICKLY into something akin to those 'n00king' races that are so famous in NS.

Just like Mine, but it causes a ship in Hyperspace goes though the FTLinhibition Field with out being pulled out by said field.

And I repeat, you will not be able to do that with the destabilizer. I should clarify: It disrupts FTLi circumvention. Mini Miehm used a type of FTLinhibitor 'hole' to kick my Red Rain torpedos out of combat, and the Godulans decided to bring forth something to prevent even that.

Teleportation-type FTL, like the Godulan Probability drive, remains unaffected, as completion of transit is 'completely natural'. The Godulan fleets can go in, they just can't leave.

OK, I'm thinking it might be a good idea to rewind and restart this little fracas. No one really knows what the hell is going on and I at least havn't had time to coordinate anything with anyone-- which is rather annoying since theoretically I'm supposed to be -RUNNING- CIN.

For that matter Casseopiea jumped the gun, I hadn't finished my attack plan as of yet (I knew the target), and I -STILL- havn't recieved the data from Mini Miehm about what my espionage effort a few months back achieved.
So, uh, yeah.

I basically had Part 3 sprung on me completely by suprise. First I heard of it was from Coreworlds.

I think AN is right, I think a Redo is in order. But I am still keeping the Death Star part

Sorry about starting Part Three without telling you AN.

I suppose we should continue on your little subplot on the current thread, and redo the space battle thread. Maybe make the new one specifically stating 'Cassiopeia's Revenge Space Battle', as Coreworlds did for Part 2.

I agree that maybe a redo is in order. Everyone on both sides of the conflict should have been notified by TG right before the thread was created so that they could be ready for the RP to start. Especially since the side story laster for a really long time. I happened to stumble on to the thread while I was browsing the forum or I wouldn't have even known about it.

Part III is going to be in Two Stroy Arcs.
