Before you think "oh gnoes! not anoth3r 1! wut h3 d01ng?", hear me out. Unlike my previous ones which end in unmistakable obviousness (government wins, everybody goes home happy...well, anybody alive, that is). This one will be a bit more disturbing, and it will detail the brutal ruthlessness of a theocracy such as myself. Anyone willing to participate will also be seeing the ends of my chemical and biological weaponry, the ones I'm always boasting about.

In short, it will be a long RP, possibly taking quite a while, but for anyone interested they can say what they need.

As I have said, this war will not be, however, on a political scale. It will not be a group of digruntled citizens attempting to take down the government through terrorist attacks. Instead, this RP will infer a bit more into human nature, and Ascherach's core. Also, it could provide some interesting plot developments that you might be wondering whenever the RPers out there RP with myself. What is Ascherach? Whom were the warlords? And what significance does it have on the Jenrakian descendants?

It will all be entailed, and I warn you, before you might sign up, I tend to write long, emotionally based posts in my RPs, whenever I feel like it. I might also warn you that this is a war of religion, a 'break' in the Jenrakian laws of conduct. It will be for mature readers and (most likely) RPers, containing excessive sex, violence, and crudely horrific scenes. Mods, please don't shut me down :( .

Anywho, anybody willing? I will be detailing the base of the plot a little more later.

Sounds like it could be my cup of tea. What specifically are the limitations on technology and what level of participation are you looking for?

At least once a week, and anything MT is allowed. PMT tech is not wanted, and I won't tolerate it, unless it is applicable to Modern Technology (such as a weapon being advanced more than what we have now, but there is no doubt it can be created within the next few years).

What I meant was what kind of disposition of forces were you wanting? The tech level is a bit stricter definition than what I generally accept, but if I limit forces deployed to specops, none of the bleeding edge 2020 stuff I use will likely come into play. However, I'd like to run a couple things by you:

Rifles: What I call pulse rifles, which are basically caseless rifles fired using electronic means. Voere of Austria has a hunting rifle called the VEC-91 that uses a similar concept and has been selling them since 1991.

Combat suits: Uses an electrospun material interwoven with ballistic fibers and electroactive polymers, which slightly enhance strength. EAPs have already been developed and showcased at tech shows, they just haven't been put into practical use. I also have a chameleon-like coating over the suits that allows the camo to adopt to the environment, although nothing so spiffy as perfect blending. It merely allows the suit to change to pre-programmed patterns over a 15-minute period.

I'm not good with weapons, and I don't know much about them. So if they're invented (or most likely will be invented in teh near future), then that's alright with me.

By the way, you mentioned the use of chemical weapons. If my troops come into a situation where they are used, would you be opposed to my retaliating on a tactical scale?

While the provinces do keep vying for power against each other, it's the constant lust for war that keeps them together against a common foe. If you retaliate on a tactical scale, expect a fairly large retaliation back. In the end, you'll most likely be losing more than us, since Jenrak is pretty much a massive wasteland anyways.

But they shouldn't be expecting foreign intervention, so there shouldn't be chemical gassing that often.

The provinces that you will be seen fighting against each other:

-Archios [The water wall, lined by cliffs and turrets, with control of the Argun islands.]

-Ssessloth [The ancient, the evil, and the deadly warrior province, where most soldiers are originated from.]

-Haasdra [The heart of Jenrak's economic strength, and the hardest province of all to capture - currently the capital of Jenrak]

-Naharank [Land of the North; the scorch fields of Cheliclas, where the lancers are strongest]

-Jeviz'Kraa [The Gateway - controls all special forces and has a strong naval defensive position]

-Erges [The Jewel of the Desert. Expect heavy Guerilla resistance]

-Delidrian [The Home of Aristocrats. Expect alot of strong overall defenses]

I'd like to jump on board, if possible. Just, how long will this be? I'm supposedly shipping out, like, June-ish. That is, if they can stop losing the damned paperwork! Sorry, it annoys me.

My nation may not be as big as all of yours' (is that even a word?), but I would definitely join this. I've been looking for a really in-depth RP on NS for some time, but they're hard to find these days.

Unfortuantely, I just decided to make my own insurrection (I got bored, figured a little uprising doesn't hurt now and then), so my forces would probably not be able to commit to anything externally until internal problems subside. However, if this starts up a little bit later, you can count me in.

I'm working on the first post right now. It should be starting either today or tommorrow, but this thread I'll keep referenced for an OOC section, since I will forbid any form of OOC, including TaGs and questions. Anything needed asking will be placed here.

Anyone can join anytime they want. It's not that much of a deal. I'll only close things off when it's way too many people it's too hard to keep track of, but I doubt that will happen.

Entirely up to you on what you do. You can be an imperialistic nation who sees this as an opportunity to take some easy land, or you can be someone who will help a certain faction...doesn't matter what you do.

Got a couple of questions for you, too. Which provinces house Ashili’s and Saerus’ castle?

What province are my military bases in?

Should be near Rephalim, and Saerus' castle is in Archios. Ashili's is in Naharank.

I check in one of your thread (The one you took out a whole town to build a gold min) and show all ten of my bases are in Raunin province. I have no idea where that is.

So the Archios and Naharank provinces are going to be involved in the civil war. Sweet!

Meh. Rephalim, Raunin. They sound similiar to me. And ya, Archios and Naharank will be in the civil war. Everyone and everything that survived my RPs in my nation will be involved in it.

Alright, I'm confused. I had this preconception that we would be playing ourselves, but only your power groups are getting play time. If you could clear this up for me that'd be great.

Jenrak is in a massive civil war, provinces vs. other provinces. Friends fighting friends. Brother fighting brothers. Fathers fighting son. And many more people fighting each other. Then you got me, trying to take over the Raunin province for my own reasons.

And from what Jenrak said, my two million men army is the only army in Raunin. And it is a remote province.

Now…think of a way to enter. Help one of Jenrak’s groups or act as a peacemaker. It is up to you.

Yeah, pretty much. Help me rebuild or screw me over. Sums it up fairly well. As for the thread, I'm busy right now, so anybody interested just start going in it needed, and I'll write up a post soon.

I’m helping rebuilt after the war is over. But right now, it's killing time.
