The An archic Civil War

An archy

ooc: This is the beginning of the war. Any in character posts you make for the "Andy Anderson's 46th Birthday" should be posted in here from this point forward. Milchama, Collonie, An archy, Noncitizens, Nation of Fortune, and Czardas, may post in this thread as they see fit. Other posters who would like to contribute should have some vital in charactor reason for involving themselves with the war.

This is An archist News.

Patty Paterson: Andy Anderson has official declared war on the Federation of Noncitizens. He has cited the assassination of his father, the former leader of this country, as his reason for going to war. It seems that the Warrior Peoples of Milchama will contend with the An archic side, although their former dependency Collonie will join the Noncitizens. Anderson has not made it clear what actions will be taken concerning the Nation of Fortune, who executed the assassination. He has only said that he needs more time to consider all the variables in what could be a drastic decision. And so, thirty years of peace on the island are coming to an end in the near future. Hopefully, the prosperity or even the future of our people will not end with it.

This is An archist News.

In the Presidental Palace...

The President received an online newpaper and it came from An archy. The news was devestating, because a leader was assassinated for all the wrong reasons. The President phoned General Ajay Patel to type a letter to that nation and help them defeat the evils of this earth.

We would like to help you recover from that loss, stabilize the country, and win back your people's hearts. We are willing to send our Special Forces, Marine Corps, Army, and Navy to help you win. To: General Ajay Patel
From: Andy Anderson

It is good to know that there are many other people willing to fight for freedom. You should know, however, that our nation is not leaderless. As the owner of Andicorp, the most powerful business in the country, I am currently the leader of the Citizens' Club of An archy. Nevertheless, the stability of our island is certainly being threatened and we will gladly accept your military support for that cause. As with all allied military forces you should remember not to infringe on the rights of our citizens. Our constitution makes no exceptions for the violation of these rights during times of war, so the manner in which you treat civilians must be very sensitive. Also, Noncitizen civilians are not to be harmed, captured or otherwise deprived of their liberty. The right to choose the government or political body in which one participates is considered fundamental to An archists. So merely destroying the Noncitizen military and capturing General Blacksmith will suffice.

General Johnson could not believe it. A chance to work with Romans, this was an honor for any Milchamian and he was the one in charge. He just jumped up and down for 3 minutes before calling Prime Minister Horowitz:

General Johnson: We're going to work with Romans! This is one of the best things that could have happened to us ever.

Prime Minister Horowitz: This is not so great, it means that they could stop our goal of taking over An archy and creating an empire.

General Johnson: Their Romans, they built one of the greatest empires in the world. They will probably be more than happy too share the spoils.

Prime Minister Horowitz: Something tells me that is not so and that they are doing this as a pure peace keeping mission.

General Johnson: How about this, let's ask.

Prime Minister Horowitz: Ok let's send them a secret telegram.

Too the leader of the Roman Republic:

Do you want any territory in An archy/ Will you be willing to let us have any territory there. If not please say so and consider this a non-existent issue. If so please respond as quickly as possible so that we can talk about how to split up the island.

Sincerely,
Prime Minister Liam Horowitz

Edit:OOC: This post is all pending on when the Roman Republic goes public (if they go public) and just to clear up any confusion the telegram is private.

{A mysterious woman enters the room. Andy Anderson looks up from his computer.}

Andy Anderson: I got a message from my secretary that you are a delegate from the Nation of Fortune. Sit down.
I'd like you to answer a few questions for me. First, why did your country want to kill Anderson? I understand that, as mercenaries you do whatever the payer asks. Surely, though, you understand that I can offer you a much greater price than Blacksmith, don't you? Secondly, what on Earth has possessed you to come back to this country? Suffice it to say that your people aren't so popular around here. So what do you want?

{Anderson is surrounded by Milchamian Military Body Guards, but the myterious woman has her own unseen enterage of protection which includes a pitch black panther. Anderson intuitively suspects that she is not alone. The potential for death death is high for both Anderson and the blonde. Like the USSR and the USA during the Cold War, they both understand that they must choose their words and actions carefully. Any mistakes could escalate into a regrettable affair. A tense moment of silence invades the room then Anderson repeats his question.}

Andy Anderson: What do you want?

General Ajay fowarded the e-mail send by the leader of An archy.
The President read over it and concluded that the country has a leader and needs miltary support to prevent the evils of this earth. The president then replied to the e-mail.

To: President Andy Anderson
From: President Bhavan Patel

The Fatherland is pleased that we could be of assistance. We are preparing our forces right now. My soldiers will obey the laws set by you and your government. We will follow the rule: "Fire if fired upon." We hope to reslove this problem and create diplomatic relations.

OOC: sorry if I didn't make this clear the first time, but the blonde woman and her entourage are the unseen protection of the delegate. The delegate is quite another character, and will be all by herself, withthe exception of the panther. After you RP with me a little bit more you'll get a feel for my special forces. I will say this though, the delegate, along with the blonde woman and her entourage, are genetically modified soldiers. Hence the special forces. NOw they aren't the generic variety of "super" soldiers that are 7 feet tall and have muscles that bulge at every corner. She had to work for all the muscles she has, and she looks like a standard human being, and according to others I RP my genetically modified soldiers very reasonably.

I'll do an IC post now, assuming you will make the proper changes to your post.

IC:
Kiley Nessa entered the room, with only the company of her panther, Darby. A black cloak hung over her body, obscuring any identifying features she may have. She walked slowly as to not alarm her hosts, and also to obscure her limp. She was amazed at how lax they were treating her, but she didnt' let that drop her guard. When she reached the room where the leader was she took her place at the desk.

"In response to your questions I only have one answer, War is business."

She reached up and drew back her hood so she could look at Andy directly. Her face was a sight to see, she was missing one of her eyes and had numerous scars running across her face, a particularly deep one running under her eye patch. With her one lovely silver eye. Several strands of pitch black hair fell across her face

"Without war, we have no job. We took a single job, that opened up more opportunities for job. It's the perfect system, we provide an opportunity for the rebels to strike back at the government, we get to let our specialty recruits train, and when the nation needs help to crush the rebellion cause they lost their leader, we jump in and crush their rebellion."

She took off the rest of her cloak to reveal that she was wearing a plain green t-shirt that was definatly tight against her breasts, some camoflauge utility trousers, and a tactical vest that was loaded to the brim with throwing knives. She had scars on her arms and neck thta ran into obscurity under her shirt. She looked deeply into Andy's eyes, toning out everything else in the room. SHe was at total peace, she knew that if they even made a threat of harming her, everyone else in the room would be dead in a flash. She had the upper hand, the element of surprise. Valerie was the best friend to have in a tight situation, and the worst enemy to have in any situation.

"Do you have any further questions?"

As she said this Darby stood up and stuck his head over the table.

{From what Anderson could understand, the delegate was here to offer the Nation of Fortune's mercenary services to crush the Noncitizen military in exchange for a certain portion of his wealth. The idea that he should give his business to the people who had killed his father sickened him, but he knew that they could certainly kill him as well. Therefore he tried his best to be prudent.}

Andy Anderson: So this was all part of your plan. You take Blacksmith's money to kill my father, then you expect me to offer you a larger sum to quell the rebel forces that have risen up since his death. It's a wonderful plan, I must admitt. It is quite possible that your mercenaries will prove necessary against the enemy. Nevertheless, I must decline your offer. I cannot allow the assassination of my father to lead to a lucrative business agreement for his assassins. You will have to look elsewhere to find employment for your mercenaries.

{Anderson regretted not being able to accept the Nation of Fortune's military support, but he knew that he had done the right thing. He understood, however, that the right course of action often has undesirable results in the short term. He hoped that he would have the strength to withstand those results so that the long term good he sought might come to fruition.}

{General Robert Blacksmith had successfully destroyed Andy Anderson. His corporate empire, however, lived on in his son, Andy Anderson. Now, he realized, there would be a Civil War. If he won, he could take over the country. Losing would take away the small bit of power he held in the far northwest. He began a speech to inspire his troops to victory.}

General Robert Blacksmith: Tomorrow we will attack the city of Plantopia. From there we will sail to Andersonville on the other side of the island. With those two cities in our control, we will have the opportunity to execute a seige of An Archia. We must not relent at any point. We will not retreat nor will we surrender. It is our destiny to control this island and we will use whatever means necessary to achieve that destiny. If you get the chance to kill civilians, do so, especially so for children. This will hurt the enemy much more than the death of any soldier. When you capture an enemy combatant, torture him in order to gain as much information from him as possible. These means, which our enemy finds unethical, will be the keys to winning this war. Their morals will be their downfall and our opportunity to seize control. Therefore, we must be ruthless in all aspects of waging this war. Show no mercy!

{The Noncitizen troops began to load into their transport vehicles. Some went by land over the highways that the An archists had built, but the majority traveled by air or sea. In all, there were fifty thousand of them. Two hundred thousand more stayed behind to be used at a later time.}

"I understand your feelings, but I must point out, that your safety cannot be guaranteed without a contract. I'm sure I could get just as hefty a sum of money, if not more, from blacksmith for your head, as my nation got for your father. Just imagine the uproar your country would have if they found out you died. Whole cities would collapse in strife in such a questionable time. If I were blacksmith, I would attack soon. Having never met him, I wouldnt' have a clue as to what he's going to do, but now is the pristine time to attack, and if you were to die then all havoc would break loose."

Kiley had nothing to lose, she knew that either way she would get what she wanted, if he refused she would kill him. From there it didn't matter if she died or not, she had nothing else to live for. Watching her mother take a shotgun blast to the head when she was only three, being born with this curse of genetic modification. Her reflexes were lightning fast, and if she her body could emit a small electrical charge, although only enough to knock out foes she touches skin to skin. For this curse she had been born, and turned into nothing more than a killing a machine. She wasn't even the prize of the special ops, and she resented Valerie for everything.

'Only in death,' she thought, 'will I find peace'

If he declined the last offer, he was going to die. She looked at his guards, none of them looked very well trained, and none of them obviously had the ten years of intensive training, and the twelve years of combat experience she had. The major thing was the numbers issue, although that would be solved the second they fired a shot. Valerie and her cougar, Haush, would come in, and sweep the room with her SMG's. They would be followed by nine of the other ten soldiers, the only one staying behind would be DWAR, and he was advanced in years, although still nobody rivaled him with a rifle. DWAR would pick anyone off trying to enter or exit the building.

"One last thing to consider, Mr. Anderson, is that I have nothing to lose, and in the end I will get what I want. If that means taking you down, then this nation will fall, if that means destroying a rebellion that we started, we are more than happy to do so, it all relates to how much you are willing to give up."

Andy Anderson: It seems, then, that I may be unable to deny your request. If I were to die, my people would have no leader and this is the sort of time when leadership is most valuable. Nevertheless, I need time to consider my options. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate it if you gave me a night to sleep on it.

{Anderson sensed that she wanted an answer immediately. He searched his mind for a way to convince her to give him more time to think about the current situation. He knew his potential death could result in the end of Citizens' Club.}

Andy Anderson: You should realize that Blacksmith will be completely unwilling to pay for an assassination which you have already completed. So killing me now will not do you any good. Please, give me some time to consider everything before I make a commitment.

These spies were great. That is what General Johnson kept on telling himself. Not only had his spies electronic hacked Anderson's computer and figured out Roman's might help but he also knew that right now Anderson looked like he could be attacked by a woman. He also knew that if this happened he would be in the perfect position to take over the country and start the process of Milchama becoming an empire. This though was all pending on how this meeting between this woman and Anderson went.

General Johnson knew he better not risk it so he did the one thing that would stop Anderson from dying now and this crazy woman from killing Anderson. He called him:
"Hello this is General Thomas Johnson, I just wanted to tell you that Robert Blacksmith has just crossed the border. I want to send troops out but I want your approval of where to send them. I'm coming up to your office now just to check on where the troops will go. See you in two minutes by for now."

OOC: Quite interesting that you could know that, especially considering how bad anybody who isn't a Nofian soldier sticks out in the nation. There is no way a spy could have learned about a mission like this. Mainly cause Kiley makes judgements that are never recorded anywhere in NoF. The only people in my nation who know of this are her, the pilots, and the special ops soldiers. The pilots are still outside the nation, waiting for Kiley to finish her dirty deeds, plus they know nothing other than the fact that she is working a contract out, hell they dont' even know that we killed An Archy's leader to begin with. The soldiers no, Valerie is my little pet, you can't touch her, you can shoot her all to hell and she'll still kill you, she happens to be the highest ranking, and the second eldest of all the soldiers there. DWAR, he's the oldest and has been working jobs the Nation since he showed promise with a rifle. Kiley is about 5 years younger than Val, and she is in charge of this. The only reason she hasn't killed him yet is because she believes ultimatly she would get rewarded more if she worked it out this way. The other soldiers all had no clue of the mission until they were pulled from their racks in the middle of the night, and have been under either Kiley, or Vals supervision since they have been briefed. The leader of the nation will know of this when Kiley brings home cash, only then will it be recorded in any verifiable source. So unless your spies are psychic they couldn't know of this.

"With the situation you are in right now, I'm afraid I can't allow you more time to think it over. Given the nature of our nation, I don't think it would be hard to 'convince' blacksmith to pay us."

Kiley thought about the time she met Ernine Esras, NoF's torture specialist. Seeing her at work had even made Kiley throw up a little. The longest she had managed to keep someone alive while torturing him was sixteen months, not continuously torturing him of course, but working on him for up to six hours at a time. Kiley shook her head, and realized she would much rather kill him, than deal with anymore of this crap. She realized how long it had been since she killed someone. A fight, death seemed worth it, in the end she knew Val would be the hero. She clicked her tounge, and threw a knife straight at Andy's heart, using the time the soldiers would take to react to dive behind the desk. Darby heard the click and went for the jugular of the nearest guard.

{"She obviously wasn't genetically modified for intelligence," David O'Neil thought to himself. "If she were, she would have realized that the NoF could have used force to obtain money from Blacksmith without killing Anderson. What an idiot!"
O'Neil was, perhaps, the only ex-NonCitizen to have ever joined the Citizens' Club. Somehow, he had managed to see past the severe brain washing he had undergone as a NonCitizen youth. It disturbed him that the cause of freedom was now in such jeopardy.}

Andy Anderson: Oh my God, my chest hurts like hell!!! Where am I?

David O'Neil: You're in a hospital, Mr. Anderson. The Nation of Fortune delegate tried to kill you. She threw a knife straight through your heart. Everyone thinks you're dead.

Andy Anderson: So, I suppose that machine is...

David O'Neil: Yep. It's an artificial blood pumping device. We managed to get you connected to this thing just before perminent brain damage would have begun. You're lucky those Milchamian guards were so inept compared to the NoF soldiers.

Andy Anderson: So she did have body guards hiding somewhere? I guess I could sense it.

David O'Neil: Yeah. There were alot of them. They killed all the Milchamians in a matter of seconds.

Andy Anderson: How pathetic!

David O'Neil: I know. Anyway, after the NoF soldiers wiped out the Milchamians, I had enough time to get you here to the hospital. I had been hiding in the restroom across the hall.

Andy Anderson: Allright, I'm thinking we should tell the press that I am dead. It would be best if the Nation of Fortune does not even know that I am alive. I'll go into hiding somewhere, but I'll keep an open line of communication with my generals. I have some ideas that might help us win this war.

Kiley walked amongst the carnage that ensued after all the guards had died, and was pleased to see the blood splattered walls of the office. She looked up at Val, and a fit of rage shot across her mind. Kiley took her last remaining knife and threw it at Val. Val laughed as the knife went into her leg. Valerie walked over to Kiley as if nothing had happened. Val stopped in front of her and brought her face real close to Kiley's ear

"I see you know how I like it," she whispered in the black haired womans ear.

Valerie brought her lips and kissed Kileys neck. Her hand shot down and pulled the knife out, fast, and she bit Kiley on the neck. Valerie pulled her head away fast and started cackling. The wound had already healed by the time she turned around to address the other soldiers.

"First things first, two of you, head back and get more troops sent here, we're going to take control of the town. Go, Now."

Two of the soldiers ran off and made a call for the chopper to meet them at the edge of town. Valerie looked around the room and thought back to the skirmish, more like target practice, that had happened minutes earlier. My the tiem they had entered the room Kiley had taken three of the guards, and the rest were already leaving the room.

"One of you, go find DWAR, we're taking this building, and he might want to find a better place, such as in here. The rest of you stand by."

Valerie entered the hall, and looked at the blood splattered halls.

"Cowards," she thought, "afraid to fight to the death, even though they failed their mission. Glad we hunted them down, like the rats they were."

It suddenly occured to her that she didnt' remember seeing Andy's body in the room, perhaps somethign happened to it while they all left to hunt down the guards. Regardless it had to be found. She burst into the room where all the other Nofian soldiers were.

"I want standard details securing the entry ways and exits to the building, any body thats left is going to search for Mr. Andersons body," she wiped some of the blood off of her face before screaming, "DO IT NOW!"

This is An archist News.

Patty Paterson: Andy Anderson has been assassinated. Various sources have confirmed that this assassination was also the work of mercenaries from the Nation of Fortune, this time for their own purposes rather than those of NonCitizen general Robert Blacksmith. An archist general Tom Thomson will assume complete leadership over the troops. He says that he has no ambitions to assume leadership of the country after the end of the war. He reaffirmed this position earlier.

Tom Thomson Well, first we'd have to win the war. Hypothetically, if we did, I still wouldn't want to have any sort of business or political leadership. I have absolutely no interest in those areas.

Patty Paterson: Thomson has been moved to an undisclosed location from which he will relay messages to the troops. This is to spare him from potential assassination by Nation of Fortune mercenaries while he leads the An archist troops. No other information has been released regarding the assassination.

Valerie looked around the room, she was unhappy. No body was never a good thing, and she remembered seeing him laying on the floor with the knife in his heart, but there was no body to be found when she returned. She would tear this city apart looking for him, because until she found the body she couldn't be assured of his death. She looked at the clock, the troops would arrive anytime now.

"Haush, come, we need to form some guidance for our troops."

The cougar stood up from her spot on the floor, and followed Val down the hall, towards the main entrance. Along the way she passed Kiley.

"Kiley, I leave you in charge of this building while I'm gone."

"Yes, Valerie," Kiley said before heading down the hall, to check on the patrols.

Valerie exited the building, and started spriniting to where the first wave of troops were landing. She saw the helicopter starting to touch down, and numerous Nofian troops in full battle gear were exiting the choppers. THe first soldier she saw she directed to the building they had holed up, telling him she would be along in a minute. She watched as the rest of the soldiers filed past her, and towards the building, and stepped to the helicopter. She pulled out the last weapon in her choice of arsenal, and M-240, to accompany her Browning BDM and duel FNP-90's. She snapped a belt in the weapon, and pulled the cocking lever back, after wrapping several belts around her body. She stepped out of the clearing and watched the chopper take off, only to be replaced by a second one. She left the clearing, heading for the building, the soldiers from the chopper following her. When this chopper was empty it was replaced by a third. This process would repeat until several hundered soldiers had made thier way off of the choppers. The next day more soldiers would come, only these soldiers would be in military transport vehicles, tanks, and most importantly more troops.

When Valerie made it back to the building she saw her troops waiting for her. She instructed them to start doing a sweep of the town, she knew Andy couldn't have made it far, and if he was still alive, then he had to be hooked up to all sorts of machines to keep him alive for several weeks, then he'd have to get a pacemaker, because his heart would never heal fully enough to support itself. She instructed them to search everywhere, including peoples homes, especially there. If any resistance was given they were instructed to kill without hesitation.

General Ajay Patel,

Yesterday, Andy Anderson was killed by an NoF assassin. Currently, several NoF mercenaries have entered the city. We expect that the full Nofian military will be arriving shortly. Therefore, we are in desperate need of your entire military support. Every soldier, every sailor, every pilot, and every officer will be necessary for victory in this difficult war. It is my understanding that the Nofian mercenaries have been genetically mutated. Nevertheless, your advantage in numbers might give us a chance to withstand the attack of our enemy. The cause of freedom is in great peril. Pray to whatever gods you have that they might come swiftly to our aid.

Thank You,
General Tom Thomson

{Andy Anderson could see the Nofian mercenaries outside his hospital window. It was rather unfortunate that he was stuck here next to his articial blood pumping device, for it would only be a matter of time until the mercenaries would locate him. He had thought, at first, that he might be able to leave the island for a safer location, but now he knew that that would not be possible for the next few days. The mercenaries would find and kill him by then.}

Andy Anderson: David, I want you to leave the hospital. The mercenaries will be here in a few minutes. There is no reason for you to die as well.

David O'Neil: But Mr. Anderson...

Andy Anderson: No buts. Leave the hospital now.

{David O'Neil did as his leader asked. When he walked out of the hospital door he saw at least a dozen Nofian guards running in. "Freedom is dying," he thought to himself as he walked down the sidewalk. He heard a gunshot and then another. Gunshots happen to be the precise sound that freedom makes as it dies.}

Valerie recieved the word that Andy Anderson was indeed alive. It brought a smile to her face. She knew this would work ultimatly better for her in the long run.

"Don't kill him," Val spoke into the radio, "I have an idea that will swing this heavily in our favor. I dont' care how, but find a way to bring him to the news casting station alive, I'll be there in a few minutes."

Valerie picked up her weapons and headed for the door, Haushinka picking up a trot behind her. She made her for the first jeep that she found, and headed towards the news station. When she arrived she stepped out to find that her soldiers had already occupied the station, and already had the same idea in their heads.

"Good afternoon Patty Paterson, nice to see we could finally meet in person," Val said, not realizing she still had dried blood on her face.

Val carried her machine gun by it's carrying handle, like it was a breifcase. Haushinka followed behind her like an oversized kitten.

"I want to make a news broadcast."

OOC: I'm assuming Patty won't decline
IC:
Valerie stood infront of the camera as it got ready to capture her message to the nation. She was wearing a plain green T-shirt, tucked into camoflauge utility trousers. SHe was wearing a belt that had suspenders on it, it's use was obviously not to hold up her pants, but rather to hold stuff. On her belt sat a single pistol, and on the suspenders sat various clips, one kind for her pistol, and one kind for her SMG. Her long blonde hair was haphazardly tied in ponytail, and her face had streams of what appeared to be several day old blood splattered in places.

"Good afternoon noble citizens of An archy. My name is Caitlin White, and I'm the representing leadership for The Mercenary State of Nation of Fortune. I apologize for any inconvience we may have caused you, but we have been looking out for your best interests. We knew that Mr. Anderson would fake his own death so he could lead over you with his veil of lies."

Val snapped her fingers and several soldiers carried the quite obviously alive body of Andy Anderson in plain view of the camera, he had duct tape over his mouth so he couldn't speak.

"Whats next? I ask you, the noble citizens of An archy, are military troops going to enter the city? Would he have commited a crime as heinous as sentancing you all to death while foreign leaders rape your pristine land? What would he get out of this you all ask, I ask myself the same question, and all I can think of is he did it for power."

She glanced over at the soldiers who then took Andy away.

"I look around, and I see slums, and I see high rent districts. This is something I never see in my home land. I've never seen a Nofian child begging on the street for someones spare change as thousands of people walk by, ignoring the poor little guy. From here on out, I leave the choice up to you all. Leave the tyranous leadership of Mr. Anderson, and join hands with the Nofian people, or find your fate as you let these lies continue on and destroy your unique way of life. For the next couple of months, we will stay on patrol, and protect your country from would be dictators, we will act as nothing more than a police force for the community and country. We leave the ultimate decision in the hands of you, the people of An arcy. And we will pray that your lying leader, Andy Anderson, has not done anything stupid and sentanced you all to doom."

The camera cut out and Valerie gave out a little cackle. The news of Anderson lying to the people he ruled was a sure fire way to get people to support their cause. She turned to Anderson, and watched his slowly fading face. She reached over and ripped the tape off.

"In the end, you lose Mr. Anderson. I don't know if you called for help from other nations or not, and I frankly don't care. All that matters now is the fact you will die, and we will get our money, and if things go really well, we will have a wonderfull base country for our Naval operations. Keep in mind we're giving your people choice to choose their fate. So I ask you, what do you have to say before we finally kill you? And I assure you, this time, we will not let you go free."

Andy Anderson: Well, first of all, if you weren't so ignorant, you would have known that every member of the Citizens' Club already has the ability to withdraw his/her membership and join any government he/she chooses. So this myth that your soldiers are coming in to give the people a choice is laughable. Secondly, I had a reasonable cause in lying to the people. Finally, all the people who become upset at me for lying to them will be even more shocked at your government's insane violations of human rights. So even if you conquer this island with military force, you will never have the peoples' support.

{Anderson knew that he would surely die soon. If not within the next few minutes, at least within the next few days. Valerie would not allow him to live for that long unless for some reason he would be useful to her. He would avoid such "usefulness" at all costs.}

{David O'Neil knew what life was like in countries like the Nation of Fortune. He had been born in one. Now, it seemed that he would have to live the remainder of his life under that kind of authoritarian regime. He thought about the painfully long hours of military training that he had undergone as a young man. He also thought about what life was like in An archy. Those thoughts comforted him temporarily. He knew, however, that he would have to adjust himself to the lack of freedom in order to at least maintain a peaceful life. Then he remembered the national motto and he thought to himself, "I don't have to accept this tyranny. If I fight back, I might die, but that risk will be worth the chance for freedom."}

"Well, due to certain comments, I assure you, Mr. Anderson, you will have a long and very interesting life from here on out. I'm sending you to go visit a good friend of mine, her name is Ernine Esras. I assure you, she'll take good care of you in the middle of a highly guarded secret military compound in the heart of Nofian soil. And even though most of what you said was true, I assure you propoganda really takes it's place. The youth of any nation is a powerful force, and just keep in mind, in a few generations nobody will remember what it was like before we moved in. The children have little clue what this citizens club is all about, and they seem to take the word of mouth more literally than adults. So if you ordered military support, which since we had control of your network and know was a viable option, then the children will see you as more of a villian, and us as more of a hero. Even some of the adults will question what you were doing, not all of them, but enough."

Valerie smirked at Andy as he lay strapped to his table.

"Two last things Mr. Anderson. First, when someone has this much control over your life, I suggest you dont' piss them off in the future. Second, I want to give you a little taste of what your going to be living on for the next.........well, for a while."

Valerie pulled a KA-BAR knife out of it's sheath and grabbed Mr. Andersons finger. She took the tip of the blade and started to drive it under his fingernail. When the knife got as far under the nail as it was going she lifted the handle of the blade in a semi circular motion, effectively popping the fingernail off.

"Take him away boys."

Several soldiers grabbed him, and several more acted as escorts. They dropped him off in a jeep, and located a helicopter, placing him, and multiple guards inside it. The helicopter took off shortly and made it's way to Nofian soil.

{Anderson was long gone by now, but for some reason David felt himself drawn back to the hospital room where he had been staying. The room didn't look any different from a normal hopital room except that the bed was not made. David went to the closet, got a clean sheet, and put it on the mattress. He really didn't see the point in doing this, but some sort of instinct told him that he should. Then he noticed something under the pillow. It was a letter from Andy Anderson, a set of instructions. He followed the first instruction and left the building, then the island. He headed north to seek diplomatic relations with the various freedom loving nations of the world. Before he left, he bought several items mandated by the instructions from Anderson.}

OOC: and while we're in limbo, waiting for the roman republic to show up

IC:
When the helicopter touched down, Andy was wheeled in a building. The building was nice and warm compared to the biting cold of the Nofian mountaintop. Andy was placed in an elevator with several guards. With a whirr, and a distinct click the steel box started in it's journey. The elevator stopped after a trip that seemed to be forever. Andy was taken out and strapped to a cold steel table.

"Hello Mr. Anderson, and may I formally welcome you to the Shanley compound," an unidentified voice behind him said. "Right now you are several thousand feet underground, in the heart of a mountain. Escape is not an option. Even if you did manage to get to the surface, up two hundered stories, past constant guard patrols, and out of the surface of the complex, you would die in the Nofian wilderness. DO you have anythign to say?"

The Generals dialed the numbers on the hologram screen to all the bases to get ready for deployment.

I have managed to secure the military aid of several nations including Sarzonia, Steinbrech, Clan Smoke Jaguar, Evil heinze worshipper, and Vendil. You should send an email to the leaders of each of these nations discussing how you plan to use their military services. I will speak personally with each of them regarding remuneration for these services. Also, make sure to secure an air port and a sea port so that troops from these nations can arrive safely onto the island.

Valerie looked at the city through the throne she held high atop her building stronghold, and watched the Nofian troops patrol the city. They were experienced and top of the line, they could react superior to any army in the world. She thought about what would happen when the Island was taken over, she would have to lead these people. Of course she would be under direct control of Cyrus Lanier, but then again she always had been. She knew what his orders would be, to create a navy modeled after the mother land. She knew nothing of ships, let alone how to work them, she knew how to survive, how to kill, and how to lead men in battle situations. She stood up and started walking toward the main constituant of troops when a scrawny child ran up to her.

"Ma'am, we have orders from the Commandant to withdraw all troops from the city."

Valerie only nodded her head and continued walking. She saw Kiley, and stopped.

"Kiley, I have orders to pull us out, but I would like to add my own little twist to the orders. Tell the men to raze the buildings, rape the women, and kill the men and children. Althoguh not the special ops, their genes are too special to risk passing on to some backwash country such as this. Make sure no buildings are left standing, and all the men are dead."

"Yes Val."

"One last thing, I want you to lead the troops in their reteat," she pulled her M240 up at a 40 degree angle and pulled back the charging handle, "I want to have some fun."

Kiley had single handedly started this, and realized she woudl take all the heat for any losses they would assume. She knew the loss of the countries leader would throw the country into peril, but she didn't think that Valerie would try to take control. She lef tthis thought laying on it's own as she picked up her radio.

"This is bluegirl calling all patrols. We have a fire and time situation. All patrols are required to commit, this is top priority. Over"

Outside gunshots could be heard flaring up all over the city. At this cue Valerie took off running outside, Haushinka following after her. The distinct sound of the automatic fire of her machine gun filled the streets. Kiley stepped outside and hopped in a jeep that was jsut about to head out. She looked to the streets and saw them running red with blood. The jeep stopped at the rendevouz, and Kiley looked out to the city as black smoke started filling the skies. By the tiem she got there the first four helicopters had already filled up, and took the skies. She stood at the edge of the lot and watched soldiers that had been on shifts other than patrol fill the area. She found a soldier and ordered him to take charge of the evacuation. She herself hopped back in her jeep and went to the next place where helicopters were stored. She gave teh same orderes to some soldier, and took off to repeat this at every lot where they had stored vehicles of some sort.

Currently the Nation of Fortune's soldiers are waging a massive attack on the city. They are particularly targeting women and children. We have have secured a seaport in Andersonville in the west and an airport in Plantopia in the east. It seems that some of them are retreating from the island. Patty Paterson: You're just going to let them retreat?

It has destroyed so much of the island and killed so many people. Revenge would be nice, but it just isn't worth extending the war.

she stepped back and cakled before throwing her head back and looking at the ceiling and yelling "I love this job!"

Kiley looked at the ashes and rubble of the city, she was impressed that it had taken such a short time to reduce such a city to nothing. The remaining forces headed towards the remaining vehicles, Valerie had already had headed back to the motherland with a messload of infant and toddler children to donate to the nations "school" system.

********
Valerie had already dropped her bounty off, and was plenty happy to be back on Nofian soil. She lived to fight, but then again so did everyone else in the country. There wasn't a single person here who didn't know how to fire, clean, dissassemble, and put a rifle back together, and the majority could dissassemble it and put it back together within a matter of seconds. She also knew, just like every other person in the country that the forests were the most dangerous places to be, booby trapped for training operations, many bodies could be found laying in the forests. The savage wilderness that surrounded the whole country would ward off most enemies. Entering the nation with any sizable force was nign impossible. Surrouned on three sides by high altitude mountains, and on the fourth by forests. One road in and out of the nation was all there was, and checkpoints lay every fifty miles. The few major cities in the nation were always patrolled by military forces, there were very few jobs besides a member of the military in this place. The only accepted jobs were arms manufacture, importer of goods such as food, and, well, military. Any attempt to enter the nation would be incredibly difficult.
