I am searching for 4 players familiar with roleplaying fantasy tech. If you volunteer, you will be told to create a fantasy nation (yes, it has to be a new one. Any nations you currently have won't work). This nation will take part in the upcomming roleplay Earth Mythology (also known as Earth Fantasy and Mythology Intwernational Incidents). For more information, please go here: http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=9857179&posted=1#post9857179

There is a set of rules on the second page written by The Druidae, who is ultimately in charge. All participants are required to read the MII thread from beginning to end, in order to futher their understanding of the RP.

So, what kind of thing are you looking for in a player?

well, they need to be commited to this RP, and they should probably be used to playing fantasy. The nation you would assume would be issued a god, RPed by another player, that you can worship and invoke for protection or whatever.

So you want nation players, rather than god players?
Also can someone be god/nation combined?

I'm in. And I already have a Fantasy Tech nation. Woohoo.

We already have all the gods we need, so yes, this is to recruit nation players.

It is generally accepted that a player cannot Rp both a nation and a god, because that player is likely to give themselves bonuses. However, even if that player were to not do that, someone would always suspect they were not being truthful, and so it would not work either way.

EDIT: Ok, cool THL. Head on over to the MII thread and post there and we'll get you signed up.

Is there a death god?
Need one for my nation idea.

Well, I think Chronosia is playing the Lord of Death. Of course, that's just his name. For all i know he could be the god of puppies and ice cream. I think that a god will be assigned to you by either The Druidae or Spooty, so I am not sure you can choose who you get.

However, by making your nation in the image of a death god, you will probably be assigned one. Also, keep in mind the restrictions that The Druidae placed on nation creation: You start with only one city, and you are in the bronze age. All magic comes from your god.

Id like to join. I think I'll just use fantasy Boozia, as my nation was designed with modability in mind.

The Boozian Heptivirate

Boozia is not a nation state, but an ideological nation, based around the consumption of booze and and the destruction of other people. Despite their Germanic tribes worldview, the army is a modern affair, based on blocks of pike and lines of bow, plus the occasional death or glory cavalry charge, or at least it will be when we reach the middle ages. The High Council rules unquestionend, for unknown reasons. For all their rowdyness, Boozians praise loyalty more even than bravery, but on the battlefield these are basicly the same. The council consisteds of four junior and three senior members, and it has occasionally been theorised that one senior membor is above the other two. All members have an unnaturally extended life, but at the cost of their mobility, they cannot attempt any physical action other than circulation, breating, and speaking. The only man permitted to see them is the warmaster, supreme general and representative of the council. The position is in theory electoral and voted on by all officers, but in reality it is decided by a council of the highest ranks, where the current warmaster has veto, thus, he selects his own succesor. The Council may overrule any selection, but this has only happened twice.

The country is federal, comprising ethnic groups and even species such as the Albese ship people, who own and control the navy. Thus, although senior positions are reserved for Boozians, the admirals have a unique power over the island state.

Boozians in the ethnic sense are human, but ritually mutilated and often with many battle scars. There are few especially strange species among the Boozians, most are simple evolutional offspring of the human race, Albese for example have lumps on their back which were fins once and strange slashes on their necks which appear to be more ritual scars, but are infact all that is left of the gill slits they had in the past. These features are useless, but they can hold their breath for a long time and swim well in the same way that the best horsemen in history were mongols and huns, a simple matter of extreme upbringing.

Feel free to join. Summarize your nation or God on the thread Druidae posted above, and we'll probably just make new threads here on II for RPs.
