Tocrowkia

A peaceful protest of more then 600 people took a bloody turn earlier today. The Protest it self was held in Pharamas Square, in which people protested for Democracy in Tocrowkia, waving banners advocating the downfall of the authoritarian Government, and the formation of a new one. As the Tocrowkian Police did not want this to turn into another riot, they sent a large police force to deal with the matter.

After an official fifteen minutes of trying to calm the crowd down and send them back home, the Police were allowed to open fire. Though many witnesses stated that the Police only negotiated for roughly five minutes before the crowd was lit up by machine gun fire. All of the protesters were unarmed, and many of them were killed trying to flee the gun fire or trying to aid others. Many police officers are being charged with planting weapons on the bodies of the dead and injured to provide a false explanation as to why they crowd was fired into.

Steward Isabella Reinhard officialy condeemed these actions, and has since launched an investigation into the matter.

The Holy Empire of Saint Fedski condems this action. However, it is relatively pleased to note that the Government of Tocrowkia has charged members of the police force and is investigating further. The Holy Empire of Saint Fedski will continue to monitor the developments in this case.

The Democratic Soviet Republic of Kahanistan is highly suspicious of authoritarian governments and strongly believes that the officers will likely face a show trial resulting in their acquittal.

We request permission to station 1,000 Republic Guard soldiers in Tocrowkia to observe the investigation and render what assistance we can.

Though the events that have occured are regretable, we recognize this as a matter that Tocrowkia must solve on its own. We DO NOT condemn the actions as the protesters were given ample warning to leave. We urge other foreign powers to not send troops and to let their government solve this on their own.

Jenrak

We agree with the Pschycotic Pschycos, in the preach of that no international interference should be placed, as this is in a civil and internal problem with Tocrowkia which they should be able to fix quite easily themselves. However, the Theocratic Chemicalists believe that they have no right to protest, being a democratic nation or not. They should learn to adapt and live with it, instead of complain. Therefore, Jenrak applauds the use of force the police had resorted to.
Quere

The nation of Quere would like to remind the nation of Jenrak that we sent troops to help secure the peace after you destroyed a whole city. Here, they killed only 32. We also were about to defend you from invasion.
