OOC: OK, this is my first detailed roleplay where' I've made a lot of effort. However, I am open to criticism. Specifically, have I made the military in Northern Ireland strong enough? However, I'd like to have any recommendations on how I can improve my RPing. This may take a while to finish, especially in the southern Ireland section, due to real-life time constrains

PART 1 - PRELUDE
Dr Joseph Edwards was sitting in his office alone, staring out of the window at the large city that was Redmofo. He had been living in Holland for over five years now, since the British government had fallen into total anarchy and the US had split into its different states. A lot had happened in the last few years – trade conferences, alliances, treaties, wars. However, there was one event that was bringing a tear to his eye. And that was CorpSec Corporation's brutal invasion of his homeland.
He had lived a good life in Britain – raised by loving parents, educated well, graduating with a degree in computing from the former prestigious Oxford University. His relations had fled to Ireland, one of the few Western European countries that had maintained its neutrality and not come under attack by foreign powers along with Spain, Portugal and Italy. France had been split in half by Pyschotika; a new movement was taking over in Germany, now called New Preussen. The Balkan countries were beginning to unite. Sweden and Finland had merged. And Norway had became a colony of the incredibly strict Kraven Corporation police empire. Ireland could be next; maybe falling to a good, fair group; maybe falling to CorpSec or Kraven Corp. At that moment, the Prime Minister knew what he had to do. He had to invade Ireland for its own protection.
PART 2 – INTELLIGENCE
The next morning, the Prime Minister called together his cabinet and key military chiefs. He told them to gather whatever information they could find about the country of Ireland, and bring it to the meeting. No-one else knew what the meeting was about, but they knew from the PM's tone it was something big. They hurriedly got together what they could find and attended the meeting at two o'clock.
At precisely that time, the cabinet members were sat down along with the heads of the army and air force, plus intelligence chiefs. Dr Edwards, esteemed Prime Minister of Rolatia, walked into the room with a highly serious look on his face. He sat down and remarked “Well, I see everyone is here on time”. He glanced around the room and said “And with the information I asked for. Excellent. Shall we begin?”. He gestured towards the military intelliegence head. “Well, good sir, what do you have for me on the Irish combined arm forces?”
The young man, apparently in his late-twenties, timidly spoke. “Do you want the Northern Ireland or Eire information first, sir?”
After a moment's though, the Prime Minister spoke. “Give me the Northern Ireland statistics first. I fear more for foreign intervention there”
“Well sir, I have good news on that. Northern Ireland is a country in turmoil. After the British Civil War II that destroyed the United Kingdom, all the previous agreements to help ease the tension between Catholics and Protestants were forgot. The IRA and the New English Forces-”
Dr Edwards suddenly put up is hand as an indication to halt. “Woah, stop there. What are the 'New English Forces'?”
The chief replied “Well sir, this group sprung up as a result of the IRA re-arming and re-mobilising. It's an army comprised of ex-British Protestants who either lived previously in Northern Ireland or fled from England, Wales and Scotland.”
“I understand. Please, continue” said Prime Minister Edwards
“Well, the two factions fought it out, until eventually what was formerly Northern Ireland split into two. The Catholic side is the west, the Protestant side the east and the dividing line is at two main places – these are the places where there is much tension. At Lough Neagh in the middle of the lands, the Protestants and the Catholics reside on opposite sides of the lake, and in Portadown the entire city is a disputed zone and a constant battleground.”
“And military forces?”
“Well, each faction has a small army on its side. The IRA are the generally stronger side, with approximately 3000 men currently in its ranks through voluntary means. They specialize in incidenary devices and explosives – we may take casualties from mortar launched. They are strongly defiant of any peace movement. The New English Forces contain about 7200 men, but they are poorly equipped. They do have a good amount of jeeps and a large amount of light arms, but they're not too powerful. The majority of them will not attack us, and will most likely lay down arms. The majority of Northern Irish residents want peace though, and would probably not cause a severe resistance.”
Dr Edwards nodded before turning to his heads of the military and air force. “So, what's the current strength of the Rolatian army that can be deployed?”
The military head responded “We have about 3500 frontline men that can be sent in, plus logistics personnel. We also have 1000 tanks we can send in plus a crew of 4000, and a whole load of logistics personnel. Also, we have a highly useful 2000 paratroopers . It depends on my comrade here in the air force”
The air force captain smiled and remarked “Well, I'm pleased to report we have a good 100 transport planes to take in our men and tanks. However, we'll have to limit ourselves slightly. I estimate we can take in 2800 men, 800 paratroopers and 300 tanks plus personnel, which should be enough considering the poor state of the army. Plus we have 150 tactical strike fighters, which could easily cause havoc, especially by targeted bombing”
Dr Edwards thought for about a minute. Finally, he responded “OK, this sounds like a good start. Mobilise the troops and air-force – we'll liberate Northern Ireland yet”. As the room emptied, the Prime Minister thought.
He knew he had to do this to stop Northern Ireland and eventually Ireland itself falling to a dangerous corporation or police state. He knew he had to do this to bring peace to a war-torn country. He needed to do this for freedom, liberty, equality – for the Northern Irish people themselves
