Asad/Guerriere-class battleship
Length: 309 m (wl); 322 m (oa); Beam: 55 m; Draught: 15.7 m
Displacement: 216,730 tonnes full load
Armament: 4 x 3 560 mm ETC guns (A, B, X, Y positions); 8 x 1 203 mm naval railguns port and starboard; 12 x 1 76 mm ETC guns port and starboard; 8 x 64 cell Mk 136 VLS launchers; 4 x 1,000 mm TT; 4 x 35 mm supercavitating guns for anti-torpedo CIWS; 24 x 'Hornet' SAM launchers; 32 x 35 mm 'Rattlesnake' CIWS
Protection: 630 mm - 740 mm advanced armour composite (titanium, vanadium, aluminum, amorphous steel; ballistic ceramics). Double-bottomed, reinforced keel with void spaces including KERI foam supported by hardened crossbeams installed across bulkheads. Composite rods and ceramic kinetic reducing plates provide additional protection against KE attacks.
Propulsion: Four x Pebblebed nuclear reactors with six propulsors and two internalised waterjets. Compulsators provide power to railguns from primary power system. Each reactor surrounded by thermal insulation to reduce noise emission and infared signature. Four diesel turbines provide emergency propulsion. 31.2 knots maximum. 28.4 knots maximum cruise.
Aircraft: Capable of launching up to 10 medium helicopters for ASW patrols.
Electronics: AN/SLY-2 (V) Advanced Integrated Electronics Warfare System; AN/SPY-4 MFR and AN/SPN-23 navigational radars; AN/SQR-6 (B) passive towed array and AN/SQS-57 dual-mode mounted digital sonar array; A/P Mounted Sonar: AN/SQS-57 active/passive, preformed beam, digital sonar providing panoramic echo ranging and panoramic (DIMUS) passive surveillance.
Countermeasures: Decoy: AN/SLQ-25 Nixie.
Complement: 1800 + 140 aircrew
Price: $15 billion
NOTE: Production rights for this design are not available. Design may only be purchased from Ottoman Khaif naval shipyards or Portland Iron Works.
