Salutations To The World,

Although I still value the alliances established by my grandfather, the War of Golden Succession has persuaded me to re-evaluate the nations that have relations with us, and therefore, the embassies of old have been forewarned of their closing. Those that wish can continue to be hosted within the Empire in the new compound for embassies. We mean no disrespect, however, it is a policy that must be undertaken if we are to weed out those that really wish nothing with us, and to allow newer nations to set up embassies within our nation, and vice versa. Hopefully, all can understand this.

There are certain new guidelines to set up an embassy within the Second Empire of the Golden Throne, which stand at:


The embassy staff must be no larger than two hundred employees.
Any guards cannot exceed the number of fifty armed personnel.
A nation is allowed one transport helicopter unless an emergency.
There are to be no armoured combat vehicles.
There should only be the nationa flag flying on embassy grounds.

The Holy Empire of Saint Fedski wishes to set up an embassy at the location right above the black rectangle. The ambassador, Guy Simonds a current Elite Guard Colonel, will be accompanied by a staff of one hundred eighty personnel and twenty members of the Intelligence Bureau. Guarding these men and women will be fifty heavily armed members of the External Security Force of the Holy Empire of Saint Fedski. One armoured limosine, two armoured sedans (FBI style), twelve armoured GMC Suburbans, and a Bell 206 Helicopter(unarmed).

Unfortunately at this moment, our Embassy District is being expanded and new buildings being constructed so we will not be able to house a diplomatic team from your nation until November 1st (RL time).

Having long since supported fond relations between our two nations we seek to further that tradition and seek a permanent Embassy within your nation. After much debate we have with some excitement chosen the Embasy location just across from the center courtyard (top, second row, middle) as our preffered Embassy location though any location will be quite fine by us. members of the First Dragoons will be accompanying us, as well as a single unarmed MH-30 'Griphen' Helicopter Painted in Diplomatic Colors.

You should be quite familiar with the Represenetive we are sending, he is afterall our representive to the IADF as well, I have the utmost faith in Chris' ability to speak for us there, and hope to hear great stories from the land of the Broken Dawn.

President Harsimran stared at his daily, vanilla folder. It had in a red, metallic ink on the cover saying "Daily News" in bold print with slight italics. He stared at it. He sighed and finally picked it up from its place on his brown, wooden, Presidential table. He gently opened it up with a little hesitation as to not see what bad news the folder might have in it today.

He slowly opened the folder up as white papers appeared in his eyes as they replaced the vanilla color that was there only a second ago. He looked at the paper dimmly. He could see that it was not bad news, in fact good news. A small grin came to his brown face. "I see our ally of The Macabee has opened up an embassy exchange. It beats bad news everyday of the year." He quickly closed up the folder and set it swiftly on the corner of his table near the other stack of white papers that he would commence to scan later on in the twilight hours.

He moved his hand toward his platinium-plated telephone that was covered with a bit of crystal diamonds. It had been used by every President before him to conduct their "special" affairs. This matter was no different. He swiftly picked up the cordless handle-held phone from its jack on the silver receiver. It was quite smooth and polished but had a nice rough, black pad so it was graspable. He slowly pressed his button on his telephone for the Macabeean government.

Fedor put his hand on his forehead, unable to proceded with all the paperwork. Indeed, he was in the midst of an epic war of succession, leading armies, leading people, and although he had called for the reorganization of the embassies, he could barely deal with it. Nonetheless, his policy was to directly answer to his allies, and not put a wall of beaureaucrats betwee them, so he urged himself on to respond to these three newest messsage on time and in haste. They were all concerning embassy moves, or even new embassy set ups, and two of them were from already old allies, while the first was of a new face to Imperial politics. In order of succession, and whoever introduced themselves first, Fedor responded to Saint Fedski's telegram first.

Thank you for your show of interest in the set up of an embassy within our embassy grounds, and thank you for being so willing to compromise with the rules we established, however internationally 'draconic' one could think of them. It's safe to say that your embassy has set aside, regardless of the time frame that you have set up for the organization of your staff within embassy grounds. Indeed, the building will be ready for your arrival on the exact date you have set aside. We're content to say that you have chosen a very beautiful spot, close to the exit of the compound, yet near the huge rotunda and water fountain.

Remember, if your ambassador ever wishes to speak directly with the administration of this Empire, as ambassadors they have the right to request me at any time of the day. I am extremely addicted to the appeasement of fellow neighbors throughout the international world, and I am at your service, just as I expect your ambassador to be at mine.

Sighing at the rather short message he turned to the next telegram. It was from Mekugi, one of the nations Fedor owed most to, as well as Hailandkill, both of which had put men on the ground to aid in the combat against those who threatened his throne. He would give this telegram more attention, naturally. He dipped his pen in more ink, took out a white sheet of paper, and got to work.

Praetor Patrick O'Neil,

The location that you have requested has been set apart for your arrival, and we're glad that Mekugi has opted to pursue the continuation of embassorial relationships with the Empire; something others haven't. Indeed, Mekugi has always established itself to be a one in a kind ally, and it wouldn't be something I would like to lose, or take advantage of. I will reiterate what I told Saint Fedski. Your ambassador has exclusive previlages to speak to me directly of any problem your nation may have, or any question it may have. I am always open to my allies.

Furthermore, we're glad that the ambassador is that from the IADF. A friendly face always helps, does it not? This will make communication between IADF state members easier, especially as most likely, further IADF members will pursue the establishment of an embassy in our new embassorial grounds.

Again, as we repeated to Saint Fedski, the Empire and myself always is open to allies, and do not hesitate to speak to me directly. Thank you for your continued interest for our friendship; it's something that, perhaps, we owe more to you, than you to us.

Folding that, and putting it aside, Fedor grabbed the next telegram, from Space Union, and read over it. He was quick to grab yet another sheet of paper and begin writing to his ally.

Beloved president of Space Union and the IADF, in terms of spots, we will telegram you a map of the area. Only two spots have been taken so far, so there should be plenty of room for Space Union. No, more accurately, especially for Space Union. The location you choose will be placed aside and readied for your arrival. We're glad that another old ally of the Empire has decided to pursue further relations with Fedor, even if under a new regime. I may not be able to equal the diplomatic prowess of my grandfather, but I'm trying. Again, thank you, and I will personally answer any further questions you may have.

Folding that, and putting it aside, he gathered all three of the telegrams and rose from his oak desk, specially carved in the halls of Tir, the Lebanon of this Earth. Walking to the gigantic doors that seperated his study room from the hallway, he opened them slightly, and spoke to his guard,"Guardian, send this to the telegram room, immediately. Thank you."

The guard turned suddenly, snapped to attention, saluted and responded,"Yes, your majesty!" With that, he turned around again, and began to rapidly make his way down the hall as Fedor shut the door behind him and reentered his study.

OOC: I know we already have had an embassy exchange, but I figured I might as well go through the ropes with this. The more I RP the better I'll get, presumably.

IC: Clovis Pendragon had requested that any messages from The Empire of the Golden Throne be sent directly to him. Such a powerful ally need not dirty its hands with beureaucracy and inept clerks.

Anyways, the Dominion of DMG would like to exchange embassys with The Empire of the Golden Throne of The Macabees. We see it as an imperative step to create better relations between our two nations and will be readying a space in our complex for a embassy of your own.

Sitting, a knock came at the massive oak doors seperating him with the rest of the world, and he rose to meet whoever was waiting in the hall. When the door creaked open he saw a guard in his usual uniform and he adressed the man first,"Yes?"

The other man bowed and handed him a group of telegrams translated onto paper into Dienstadi, and Fedor took them and bowed as well, murmuring,"Thank you." With that, he closed the door, and walked back to his desk, sitting down, and taking the first telegram. He smiled; it was from a nation he had taken extreme interest in, The Republic of the Seven Flowers, and he responded to Clovis Pendragon immediately,

It seems we have become somewhat like friends, no? Indeed, of all our telegrams back and forth they have been between us personally. Your embassy location has been reserved, without question, and I wish to personally welcome you to your new home in the Empire. As per our talks prior to this, we will continue that [in the other thread] later. Nonetheless, thank you for your continued interest and cooperation. You are not making a mistake affiliating yourself with the Empire.

He folded that, took another paper, and then took another telegram. This time it was from DMG, a nation with a very large armaments industry and national bank, that for some reason Harbinger had taken an interest in, although the Emperor truly didn't trust Harbinger. But that was for later, it was time to respond.

Thank you for showing interest, and thank you for the reservation of a location in your own embassy complex; we will be sending a team, restrited by any laws you may pertaining to that, in four days. As far as yours go, the location has been reserved for you, and you will find yourself neighbors of Saint Fedski and The Republic of the Seven Flowers - two very respectable nations; indeed, a very good spot to be in. Thank you for the information on your team; we feel that knowledge is equal to trust, and trust makes a healthy relationship. Again, thank you.

We're glad that you were not offended; it was something that troubled me deeply when I first decided to do this, but now it seems that it was a fine decision. As fasr as alliances go, the alliance between our nations has been one of the longest standing in the Empire, perhaps only eclipsed by our alliance to Sumer, and perhaps Mekugi. Nonetheless, we are the ones that owe Hailandkill, for Hailandkill has been there every time that we have found ourselves in dire straits, and for that, your embassy has been reserved, and you will be given a private escort to them, and you have first priority to speak with us whenever. On behalf of His Eminency, Jikadda Toran, Emperor of The Askiran Imperial Republic, I have been charged to express the intrest of forming an embassy exchange with your nation.

We have already made preparations for the location of your embassy. The building in question contains five floors, including basement, and has secure parking to the rear of the building. Which will accomadate your transports. The embassy we offer you has adequate room for a staff of 100 to conduct the affairs to which they are tasked. The embassy will also be able to accommodate a security presence of 30 personnel. Their is a helipad located to the rear of the complex.

Ambassador Hargen Nilanni along with his staff of 81 people, including diplomatic personnel, lawyers, and a military advisor along with the force of 40 ADP (Askiran Diplomat Protection) personnel are all waiting to be dispatched on your confirmation. You are aware that the Askiran convoy will have the following vehicles attached:

As a matter of Trade I will be appointing a Team led by Alyssa Kent, from our Department of Trade & Enterprise, to asses and coordinate a Trading Treaty between us. Fedor, before heading over to the embassy compound, took a look at the newest batch of telegrams and decided to take care of them, one by one, and the first one he looked over was that by Askira, a nation that had attempted a peace overture with the empire before but had caught it in a time when Jonach had failing health, and then died, and there was little time for diplomacy then. However, this time Fedor had enough free time to respond to their request;

Secretary Halsey, Askira,

Greetings, and welcome to the Empire. First of all, I wish to personally thank you for your preperations within your own nation for the formation of an embassy of our own there. You have been one of the kindest nations in that respect so far, and you will receive equal treatment in Fedala, that you are guaranteed. Second, would you like any spot in particular? If not, we can merely assign you one; they are all the same in terms of size, and only the amount of money the nation puts into its construction really matters, within the context of beauty and height. As for what is to occupy that segment of land, your outline of personnel follows our restrictions perfectly, and we thank you for the cooperation. Our own team will be roughly similar in both size and layout.

As pertaining to trade and mercantilism, the Empire under my rule is taking a very steep turn. Our policy is rather strict, and that is, we only allow major trade with nations that believe in the same economic principles as us, or pure capitalism, where there would be no restrictions regarding trade itself, and the growth of our business, although anti-trust laws are a given, and are a common practice even within our own nation. We do not take capitalism so far, although may wish for it to be so.

Nonetheless, I'm sure we can work something out and Askiran relations will improve. I'm looking foward to it.

As per your offer, we do wish to set up an embassy within your nation and we will gladly put up shop whereever you think would be the better spot. Other events nonwithstanding, welcome to the Empire. I am here for you, and I hope my ambssador can expect the same, if not, oh well. Nonetheless, foreign relations always come first, even if I'm busy [I will just get another high ranking official to speak]. Thank you for your cooperation and your hospitality.

Rubbing his eyes, Fedor yawned. He was tired and it was getting late. Tomorrow he would make his way to the embassy of St. Fedski to see what they required. He had much work to do, perhaps he would send a general to speak. Ah, he would make his decision tomorrow. For now he would simply reply to the final telegram;

Greetings Mr. Lin, and thank you for your show of interest. Is there any specific location you want this embassy to occupy? If not, I would be glad to set one aside for you. But, alas, that should be left for later. Thank you, again, for your interest, if you ever need to speak to me, or to a represetative, we are open.

We are glad you have accepted our request. As I understand we will be constructing the building? If so, then shall send some architects and engineers to draw up some plans and begin construction. They will be using local materials and workforces rather than Phoenixius crews - that would be alright, yes? As for your embassy we shall allocate you an area within our embassy section of Phoecia - currently the area is under some construction some details are a bit scarce.

I will always accept foreign diplomats, so your ambassador will recieve the same. When our embassy is ready, we shall be sending our ambassador, Wendy Highbury.

Dear Sir,

On behalf of the Democratic Imperium of Praetonia, I wish to apply for the construction of a Praetonian Embassy in your capital. We shall, of course, allow you to build your own embassy in our own capital, Praeton. General proceedure dictates that we require an Embassy Guard of 50 men with small arms who will not leave the Embassy whilst armed. In terms of vehicles, we request the ability to station a single armoured helicopters in the embassy, 2 unarmed APCs and 5 armoured ambassadorial cars.

The Ambassadorial Staff will consist of 120 people, including the Ambassador and his/her family. We are willing to offer you similar terms for your own embassy in Praeton. As for the position of the embassy, we are not particularly bothered, but but we would prefer it facing into what I can only assume is a courtyard in the centre. I hope that this deal will herald greater diplomatic contact between our two nations and, depending on the results of the Free Trade Conference, greater economic contact as well. Indeed, it is strange that we do not already have an embassy exchange arrangement.

Fedor had left for the River Nestor to command the field armies he deemed absolutely necessary for the defeat of Heinrich and his fist moving closer and closer to Fedala [OOC: Don't worry, the rebels will lose in the end at the River Nestor] and so he had left the task of diplomacy to a very trusted man, Lord Carobin, and when the new array of telegrams had dropped on his desk he immediately put himself to work. The first telegram he would write was directed to Ellias Aubec of Phoenixius, so first sighing deeply for the lack of sleep, and then taking out his pen, he went to work;

Thank you for reply Mr. Aubec. Unfortunately, His Imperial Majesty Fedor I has left for the River Nestor where he is personally leading armies against an attempted usurper of the throne, his father Prince Heinrich of Dienstad. Therefore, I Lord Carobin might be responding to your telegrams in the stead of the Emperor. I hope this doesn't prove to be a problem.

Yes, you have the liberty to design your own embassy, and do not worry, our Empire's economy is vast and you will very well find that any exotic material will be imported if necessary for your new building. As for our own embassy, we thank you very much for your hospitality; the ambassador will be Lady Feralin, a very beautiful but savvy woman.

Regardless, we feel honored to have our own little place in repordetly grand Phoecia, and we're looking foward to the blooming of relations between the Golden Throne and Phoenixius. Remember, either I or the Emperor himself will be here to receive your guests if you ever may want to talk.

Apologies, but I Lord Carobin must take the place of Emperor Fedor I in the response to the telegrams; His Imperial Majesty is leading the armies, regardless of all the disputes the Lordship and his new wife, Empress Sophie, have put up against the idea. And yes, I must agree with you, he will mirror the abilities of his grandfather, and perhaps surpass the fame. Nonetheless, those words of yours were very kind and he will be happy to hear that an ally has said that about him.

Opening the next telegram to the Empire he saw the title of Praetonia and he smiled. The embassy opening had brought the attention of another world power, and that's just what the Empire needed, friends in high places. So, he responded in kind;

Unfortunately His Imperial Majesty will not be able to respond to your telegram directly, something that prior to his leave was his policy. It is in this event that he had been forced to leave the capital and command his armies personally to ensure the destruction of the rebels at the River Nestor. Nonetheless, at least I hope, that I can respond to your application as thoroughly as he would, and I hope there are no problems concerning this matter. Thank you for your cooperation should this have been a setback to your politics.

And of course, the request of location has been reserved, and we eagerly await the arrival of your ambassadors. The next telegram was from Ariddia, the nation that had won the Golden Cup in Fedala not too long ago in the International Futsal Tournament. Lord Carobin took yet another piece of white paper and began his response;

Ariddia and the Empire meets again! It has not been too long since the first arrival of your men at Fedala where they issued a complete victory over their rivals in the Futsal Tournament. The requested location for your embassy has been reserved and we await your own ambassador. Our ambassador to your country will be Baron Mandragon a very learned historian and a very good politician. Hopefully, through this exchange Ariddian and Imperial relations will only strengthen. With that said, I bid good luck to Ariddia hoping that we will continue these talks.

Unfortunately, because of other provisions, His Imperial Majesty Fedor I will not be able to make it to a meeting between your ambassador and himself, and so Lord Carobin has decided to appoint another politician to the task, Duke of Mandalay Gregorien. Hopefully St. Fedski does not find any problems with this; if so, please telegram Carobin as soon as possible. If not, then Duke Gregorien will make his way to embassy grounds within two days. With that he got up and a servant rushed to him and he placed all the letters in his hands and sent him off to the communications center where everything would be sent to the respective location.

It is with great pleasure that I am finally able to write to you in regards to the establishment of a Sumerian embassy within your lands. Of course the equivilant provisions for your own Ambassadorial facility within our capital of Uruk will be made avalible for your use if so required.

The Dictorial Republic of Sumer officially requests an embassy within our great ally. Construction of the Ambassadorial facility should be undertaken by contracted workers within the Second Empire, plans for the Facility will be forwarded with a small engineering team to oversee the process.

Our standard Ambassadorial staff consists of 96 personell as well as two Sections (18 Soldiers) of Ranger Specop units for Grounds and Personell Security. The total personell should come to 132, including 36 armed gaurds. Vehicles to be provided are six T-6A general purpouse vehicles and two armoured limos, as well as a single ATH-29 helicopter.

I would enjoy a view of the wonderful countryside of Fedala if that could be accomodated, but it is not required.

Lord Carobin rubbed his eyes; he had left all the new telegrams aside and put them off for some later time but he had jumped what he could afford and he would have to reply to those letters at some point or another. So, he set off to it. The first he would have to attend to came from an ally, Sumer. Taking a slip of paper he set himself up for a worded response:

How wonderful that an old ally has wished to continue such relationships and I reassure you that the Empire is just as happy to do as such. In no world, or in no life, would I hesitate to say yes to Sumer, and in no world would I say no to an embassy from such a great ally. Although the staff and guard has been accepted, we have a slight problem with the suggestion of embassy quarters. The ambassadorial court is put together within Fedala [the map provided] and to give Sumer something on the outskirts of the city would play like favouratism, something that although sounds rather childish within the context of accusing of such, is not something Fedala can willingly afford when it comes to other embassies. Therefore my apologies and those of Fedor, but it would be best to stay within the ambassadorian court. Again, my apologies. It troubles me that I failed to please an ally, but it is the best I can do.

Oh yes, and thank you for an embassy in Uruk. Your laws concerning embassies will be followed without any further interpretation. The ambassador will be Lord Xiern.

Carobin put that aside where the rest would go. He had invented a very handy system for him and his workers. He would just leave them on his desk and his secretary would take the stack to the guards instead, saving him the trouble of walking ten meters. He sighed. Even ten meters was a lot for man of his age. He took the second telegram and studied it. It was from Vietnamexico, another ally. He prepared a response:

Although, like I told our allies in Sumer, we cannot give you an embassy outside the compound, I will push through Fedor the construction of a condominium complex for refugees of Vietnamexico; we will also push some welfare programs and some employment programs for the further welfare of the refugees. We do hope that King Horus visits our country so day, like he did for the wedding. But, alas, that is all for now. Thank you for your telegram.
