Ah, hello! I see you've found our webpage, newly created of course. This is the home of the Samtonian Diplomatic Services branch of the Foreign Affairs Department. Within it, you will find a complete listing of embassies here in Samtonia and around the world from Samtonia, a nice level of allies and how much we support them, and a listing of all official alliances we're in.
Any questions, suggestions, or want to be added to the lists? Just ask and you shall receive! We're always willing to trade embassies, engage in diplomacy, or create an alliance. So just give the word and we'll see what happens. And in the event of war, we here in Samtonia take great pride in our negotiating skills as the moderators of peace talks or general war talks. So if you want an agreement not to use chem weapons, go through us!

These allies are literally the highest diplomatic honor that can be given to a foreign nation. Every nation on here is in some way inextricably linked with Samtonia and a true ally in all senses of the word. We never doubt these allies' motives and a war against them is so impossible as to be ludicrously funny.

Are you an ally of Samtonia? Have you ever opposed Samtonia in a war? Do you want international diplomacy to be brought to a new height of ease? Do you finally want contact with an influential member of the international community? Need another contact? Come apply for an embassy!
Why?
Do you want contact with one of the premier movers and shakers of the world? Do you want contact with an international powerhouse whose word on the economy could shut down your nation? Do you want contact with a nation whose armies might traipse about your country at some point in time? Do you want a brand new embassy building and contact with Samtonia?
Of course you do.
Where?
Your embassy will be located on the beautiful embassy row, located about ten minutes outside downtown Samtonia City. Building styles will be made to order, but tasteful elegance and refined construction are the norm. Each embassy will sit on a one-acre plot of land, one of the largest plots for a basic embassy in the world. Wooded parkways, streams, and lakes are all part of the tranquil setting that will be a part of Embassy City, the new city created expressly for this purpose.
Who?
Any nation is welcome to apply, though Samtonia may turn some down. Your ambassadors are welcome and will be active in an area comprised of foreign nationals in the diplomatic corps. Diplomacy doesn’t just occur with Samtonia- it occurs with all other nations there!
What?
Basic Building, guards, etc...
Your embassy will be in the one-acre compound. It may have walls, it may not. It’s your choice. A small staff of guards will be allowed, with no more then 100 allowed at any time and no explosive, full automatic, or non-man portable weapons allowed on the premises. No aggressive military vehicles will be allowed, however a helicopter landing pad will be as well as personal automobiles and any armored vehicles you might wish to have. But remember, no weapons mounted! No secret underground rooms will be allowed, though since we’re building the embassies, it would be very much impossible for you to build one of your own.
Law stuff, borrowing heavily from Vastiva (thanks!)
Embassies are extraterritorial. No member of the host nation may enter the grounds without permission of the Ambassador or representative.
Ambassadors have full diplomatic immunity. They may not be held or detained for any alleged crime; they may be restricted to embassy grounds or expelled from the host nation as “persona non grata” (the latter includes expulsion from the embassy itself).
This immunity covers the Ambassador, their direct family, and up to three staff members (and their direct families) selected by the Ambassador.
The remainder of the Embassy staff and personnel has limited immunity, meaning they can only be charged with felonies or greater. At the time of their detention, the Ambassador must be informed. The Ambassador may choose to have them detained in the Embassy. They must be released for trial by the host nation upon request. The Ambassador may petition for Pardon by the host nation. If this is not requested or is denied, the accused may select any member of the justicary for their defense, at the host nation’s expense.
All embassy personnel are considered representatives of their nation; their actions as such reflect upon their nation.
The Embassy may import 10 vehicles, which will also be considered extraterritorial. All vehicles must be accepted by the host nation, and may be searched by the host nation prior to their acceptance. The Ambassador may petition the host nation for additional vehicles.
Helicopters are allowed in addition to those vehicles, with same provisions applying, however, helicopters are not allowed under ANY circumstances to possess vehicle-mounted weaponry.
Security staff may consist of no more then 100 troops, with no weapons of explosive, fully automatic, or non-man portable nature.
No Chemical, Biological, or Nuclear weapons are allowed on the embassy grounds
In the case of conflict between the nations, the embassy staff will be allowed to leave unmolested, unhindered, and under guard from embassy grounds to their transport. Embassy grounds will be sealed by the host nation.
Embassy personnel may not carry weapons outside of Embassy grounds.
Diplomatic Pouch (size of a regulation briefcase) may not be searched or molested. It may be externally scanned to prove the nonexistance of radiological, biological, or chemical weapons or samples.
