SeaQuest

Deep in the core of the Pegasus Galaxy, a massive structure orbits a dead planet. This Utopia class shipyard (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y131/Kvess/Schematics/drydock_utopia.jpg) is where the new flagship of the Holy Empire Of SeaQuest's navy is being built.
"Commander," says the chief engineer in charge of the new ship's construction, "She is ready for launch."
The two men look out through the window at the massive star-shaped ship as the last hull plate was put into place.
The Engineer says, "She will be launching with only a skeleton crew. The reasigned personnel haven't all arrived yet."
"Understood," replied the commander, he turns to a man setting at a control board, "Launch the bottle."
"Aye, sir."
A port in one of the arms around the massive black-on-black ship opens. Out shoots a bottle of wine. It is aimed straight for the Naquadah armor of the hull. Once it hits, the I.S.S. Anubis (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b91/SeaQuest_Sim/Jaffa/anub.jpg), the first, and only planned, Anubis class super-capital command ship. At ten kilometers in diameter, she was twice the size of the planned production version. It had taken many years of diverting resources and putting other construction projects on hold while she was being built, but now that she was launching, those resources could be diverted back to the other yards so normal construction of standard ships could continue.
Meanwhile...
The bottle of wine struck the ship's hull and shattered. Everyone that had been watching with baited breath jumped up and cheered at this momentus occasion.
The claws of the yard that restrained the Anubis opened up and released the massive ship.
I.S.S. Anubis - Pel'tac (ie, Bridge)
Standing at the helm, the Jaffa charged with piloting the massive ship engaged the manuevering thrusters and eased the giant vessel out of dock. Once clear, he rotated the star-shaped ship so that it was floating backwards. At a distance of ten kilometers, he brought her to a full stop. The Empire had a new flagship.
