FIGHTER SHIPS

While the Imperial Fleet of Thrashia does indeed use the Tie Fighter in all its forms, it also employs the aide of two other fighter classes created by Thrashian designers. And with the advance in clone technology, the best Thrashian pilot, who was classified as "ass hot" was taken and clone over and over, but with better physical attributes.

The FPDF takes care of most space traffic around the planet Thrashia, which relieves the regular military fleet for their own jobs. But when a fleet is in dry dock its members are often partnered for a time with the FPDF.The Arrow-class fighter is the FPDF's only fighter, as well as having the Tetreault-Class Patrol Craft to back it up. The commander of the FPDF is Star Marshal Bagii, ex-Thrashian Fleet captain.

Building Installations
=============================

Klata Installation
-This installation exists on Thrashia's only moon. The entire 300 km in radius ball is a converted ship factory, capable of constructing several hundred fighters, and dozens of capital ships at the same time within a short span of time. Powered by a large protected neo-nuclear reactor, there is one "main" factory area where the Emperor's own flagship class, the Sovereign, can be put on full production.

Danaila Shipyards
-A series of free floating factories in orbit, the Shipyards were once the only way of producing space ships for Thrashia. But since the completion of the Klata installation the Shipyards have been devoted to creating the Emperor's Crusader Space Stations.

Tyborg
-Tyborg is the name of Thrashia's biggest and largest hidden clone "factory." Tyborg is capable of pumping out one regiment of clone troops in one week, fully equipped and trained for combat.

Mias Installation
-Within orbit of the second planet of the Mais system are three moons. Two are 400 kilometers in radius, the third being 200 in radius. After the success of the Klata Installation, a mirror image project was undertaken by the Trade Guild to do the same to each of the three moons. After completion the output of ship building has tripled. With the advance of machinery all building is done by computer controlled machines with only a small staff of human overlords, as well as one regiment of clone troops for guards.

=================================
Fleet Training Facilities
=================================

Fleet Academy
-Located in Thrashia's capitol the Academy is over 20 square miles in size. It is the training ground for all of Thrashia's Fleet personnel. Since all ground fighting is done by clones, all man power that was once devoted to both Fleet and Ground, is now devoted entirely to Fleet, allowing for the size and capabilities of Thrashia's Fleet to grow.

The purpose of this document is to have a public record of Thrashian Space Programs. I Vincent Braum, scribe to Emperor Shadaum, have been charged will keeping this document updated and in proper order.

Suggestion: add up all the crews of all your warships, then compare with the number you listed for combat personnel to see why all the flag officers in the background are laughing. Please note that all embarked ship personnel are combat personnel, and we will be sending along an army field manual concerning logistics for your personal edification.

Happy hunting,

I already did that Scolopendra, and those numbers are old infomation since most of those fleets above were orginally a lot larger, I scaled them down even further when I made this new revitilized version. I know very well that an embarked ship's crew are all combat designated. I am however refering (in labeling them non-combat) as the men designated to supply and logistics, setting up supply lines for the Fleet and such. I made this very broad on purpose, as I have little time to go into miniscule detail on the orginization of my fleets.

Most of my rps only use small amounts of my first fleet, and others are just out exploring space, or protecting trade routes under eddicts of the GE.

But thanks for the advice anyway, and no needs for a army field manual; I already own one.

OOC: Its just a fact book, and I was just bumping to see if anyone else would comment, since the last time I had a fleet, it was in the 3-thousands count, and thought I might scale it down (been 6 months since I've touched on the subject of my fleet) and I am planning on introducing new ship models into it.

People using star destroyers and the such, taking on the concept of someone else's design is really annoying to me, but I wouldn't fight with a person about it.

Well...ahaha, every known FT tech is derived from Star Wars and Star Trek...so...you would be annoyed with everyone. And ole George encourages people to take what he made to heart and use it! If he just clamped it all up, he wouldn't have made the movies! Bah! Wheres your sci-fi pride? SW and ST made the Sci-Fi world! So...don't be annoyed with that, cuz everyone on this site uses (in FT) one spaceship or schematics that was made by someone else.

Being inspired by something is hardly the same as copying it.

Being inspired by something is hardly the same as copying it.

Did I say it was copying? I was merely saying that SW, ST, and FG all helped to inspire todays sci-fi, so that its hard to say its annoying if 'some people' copy others work, when its conjectable to say that all works after the said models above were based upon them.

Woah! Not the ships from ST for sure. I still have a book where the designers of the Enterprise remember having pictures and lists of FG ship traits, with a big "What we don't want." written above it all.

Note, I say "ships" and nothing more. I can't really comment on the story or the like. Why I remember that of all things is still in the air atm...

lol, I know what you mean. It was a blow back for me, I had to research Flash Gordon, since I had forgotten all about him.
