Energies explode out in a maelstrom in interplanetary space.... A massive vortex tears space open.... hanging, waiting...
After several minutes, a single massive 3,200 meter ship slips from the vortex...

A "skin" grows over the TRSS Anubis... several millimeters thick... and a momentary energy buble becomes visibile around the vessel, as it's shield emitters come online...
"Should I begin preparing the marines?" asks the Anubis' XO, Commodore Brandeau...

I am Vice Admiral DuPuy, commanding officer of the TRSS Anubis. I have been directed by the Chief of Stellar Operations, on behalf of the people and government of several dominion Star-systems of the Consitutional Republic of Tekania, that we will not bow down to your 'ultimatum'.
We request that you immediately cease all attempts at hostilities between our civilizations.
The TRSS Anubis will remain on station for the next 2 days awaiting your official response....
