In Yarvadia, one of the Allied League members, something wonderful was happening. It was a matter of commerce, and hadn't even been put to a vote yet, but it would affect the course of Yarvadia greatly.
A 'silicon valley', or a place for developers, programmers, designers, and so on, were to meet. Software had been a major Yarvadian export, but, recently, Tofontas had been stealing away a large chunk of their income. Now, with a massive amount of taxpayer money being spent, Yarvadia would lure the programmers back.
Essentially, houses were being constructed. However, these were no ordinary houses. They had been outfitted with computers, in every room, electronic libraries of code, and automated ovens, automated doors, hell, even automated candlelight dinners!
Five thousand houses were being constructed, each enough to house an entire family, if in Cells, but these were, exclusively, for the computer people of the world. Four hundred of these were developing studios, perfect for developing software, with a peaceful enviroment, and access to all the infomation the world had to offer.
The Yarvadian Ministers for Information, Technology, and Commerce had put their heads together on this one, and decided that they needed people to put out taxable software, which, in the long run, would easily give them more money then they had outlayed.
