M26A1 Infantry Combat Rifle
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v652/blaesa/PRA%20junk/M26A1.jpg

Length: 685mm
Mass: 4.7 kilograms
Mass (Loaded): 5.4 kilograms
Cartridge: 6.5x55mm Caseless
Magazine: 50 rounds
Barrel Length: 540mm
Muzzle Velocity: 910 m/s
Muzzle Energy: 3323 joules

Modes of Fire: Single, 3 round Burst, Full Auto
UGL Cartridge: 35x90mm
UGL Barrel Length: 310mm
Sight: Integrated SmartGun System

Cost: 1800 USD

Replacing the volatile M25 HVAR as the standard combat rifle of the Otagian Regular Army, the M26A1 combat rifle is a powerful and advanced weapon, well suited to the ORA's demanding requirements.

The action of the M26A1 is based largely on the Heckler and Koch G11, with the recoil of each shot rotating the chamber 90 degrees to load a new round before snapping back into place. In the case of a dud round, the operator merely cycles the action, which loads a new round and ejects the old through an emergency port in the bottom of the rifle. In addition, the M26A also borrows the G11's moving barrel, chamber and magazine, allowing extremely high rates of fire, with all three rounds leaving the gun before the assembly hits the operator's shoulder. Thus, recoil has no chance to effect the user's accuracy, greatly increasing the lethality of a decent marksman by letting the entire burst impact in the same location.

The M26A1 uses the latest version of PRA's SmartGun system, which feeds targetting information garnered from an integrated laser range finder to a set of glasses (also available in nightvision or IR goggles) worn by the user, via a short range wireless transmission (roughly two meters maximum effective range). The glasses then project a crosshairs, distance to target, and ammunition remaining onto the operator's field of view. The system runs off of a small lithium-ion battery cell, and engages only when pressure is applied to the trigger in order to conserve energy. The M26A1 also features GrenadeLink software, which predicts the flight path of rounds fired from the integral UGL, and displays the arc on the operator's field of view.

M26A2 Designated Marksman Rifle
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v652/blaesa/PRA%20junk/M26A2.jpg

Length: 788mm
Mass: 3.75 kilograms
Mass (Loaded): 4.4 kilograms
Cartridge: 6.5x55mm Caseless
Magazine: 50 rounds

Muzzle Energy: 3545 joules
Rate of Fire: 800 RPM (2200 RPM burst)
Modes of Fire: Single, 3 round Burst, Full Auto
Sight: Integrated SmartGun System, x4 optical scope
Other: Folding bipod

Cost: 1500 USD

The M26A2 is simply a modified version of the M26A1, intended for use as a designated marksman's weapon. The underbarrel grenade launcher is replaced by a bipod, while a powerful optical sight is added, as well as a longer barrel for increased accuracy.

M26 Security Rifle

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v652/blaesa/PRA%20junk/ares-hvar.jpg

Length: 611.25mm
Barrel Length: 543.75mm
Mass: 4.6 kilograms
Cartridge: 6.5x40mm caseless
Ammunition: 30 box magazine (optional extended magazines in 40 or 50 rounds)
Muzzle Velocity: 910 m/s
Muzzle Energy: 3105.375 joules
Rate of Fire: 800 RPM cyclic (2200 RPM burst fire)
Modes of Fire: Safe, Semi-Automatic, 3 Round Burst, Full Auto
Aiming: Iron sights, integral smartgun system
Cost: 1400 USD

After several well publicised incidents involving the M25 HVAR exploding when fired (which PRA maintains will never occur with a properly maintained rifle), the Otagian military requested several new rifle designs from PRA using a less volatile round than the M25, including a new rifle for corporate security forces. The M26 is that rifle.

Using a 6.5x40mm caseless cartridge, the M26 compensates for the lower killing power of the 6.5mm round with improved rate of fire, sending up to 2200 rounds down range per minute. Pale Rider Arms neglected to include the integral grenade launcher common to all its previous designs, citing decreased utility in it's intended use by security personnel. A recessed mounting rail does, however, allow for after-market launchers to be attached.

Sniper Rifles

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v652/blaesa/M220sniperrifle.png

Cartridge: 8mm x 60mm

Length: 890mm
Barrel Length: 810mm
Weight: 6.98 kg

Accuracy: 0.5 minutes of angle
Modes of Fire: Safe, Free
Safety: Frame Mounted
Other: Optional reducing ports, suppressor, bipod
Cost: $5500

The M220 was designed by Pale Rider Arms as a tactical sniping weapon, hand crafted for use in the field of battle, unlike many other so-called sniper rifles, which are merely modified versions of civilian weapons. The M220 includes an option for reducing ports, which reduce the velocity of the supersonic 8mm rounds to just under the speed of sound, meaning that the impact of the bullet will make more sound than firing it.

PRA M210 13mm Sniper Rifle

Length: 1472mm
Barrel length: 1168mm
Weight: 16 kg
Bore diameter: 13mm
Maximum effective range: 2200m

Magazine Capacity: 6 rounds, detachable box
Modes of fire: Safe, Fire
Sights: x1 to x15 Electronic w/ nightvision
Accuracy: 0.6 minutes of arc
Cost: $10,000

A comfortable middle ground between the finesse of the M220 and the sheer excess of the M250 Godslayer, the M210 provides excellent and reliable armor penetration from ranges in excess of 1500 meters, and reliably kill mansized targets at over 1 kilometer.

Fumetsu Na Heishi Battle Armor
The Fumetsu Na Heishi is Pale Rider Arms' latest battle armor design for the Otagian Regular Army (ORA). Replacing the aging NWS, the Fumetsu Na Heishi is lighter and more agile than the previous design, while sacrificing a minimal amount of protection.

The battlesuit offers level IV+ protection to all vital areas of the body, as well as portions of the arms and legs. Protection is provided by ceramic/tungsten disulfide plates backed by Dyneema weave. Areas that cannot be protected by plates (such as the groin, armpits, and the back of the knees) feature simple Dyneema protection. A simple plated kusazuri provides additional protection for the vulnerable groin and legs. A two-part gorget is fastened about the neck after the helmet is in place, providing level IV+ protection to that area.

Protection from environmental hazards is provided by an optional lightweight hooded jumpsuit, worn under the armor layers. In order to seal the suit, the wearer's gloves, boots, and helmet are fitted into ceramic seals. The first layer of this is composed of a fine silica-thread fabric, which provides a modicum of protection from temperatures in excess of 600 degrees Celsius. While prolonged exposure to heat sources will cause burns from heat transfer, the insulating properties of this cloth will protect the wearer for approximately ten minutes before failing. For protection against chemical or biological agents, the second layer is composed of airtight rubber, preventing any outside agent from reaching the wearer's body. Finally, the innermost layer is composed of a sweat wicking padding, providing a modicum of comfort to the occupant. Positive pressure is maintained at all times via the suit's air tank, giving the wearer time to apply a patch in case of a tear, as well as an audible indicator that his armors integrity has been breached.

The helmet of the Fumetsu Na Heishi features a built-in SmartGun receiver, and will automatically display the targetting information of any SmartGun equipped weapon in range (this includes weapons used by squad mates). In addition, the helmet features thermographic and light amplification optics, along with broadband radio comms. NBC protection is provided by a gas mask built into the helmet. The mask features a toggle that seals the suit entirely from the outside world, forcing it to rely on the suit's attached 5 pound air tank.

The suit weighs in at 18 kilograms, and is entirely unpowered. A powered version is reputedly in the works, and, if released, would be Pale Rider Arm's lightest powered battle armor to date. The Fumetsu Na Heishi battlesuit retails at 14,000 USD.

GL-6 and GL-2 Grenade Launchers

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v652/blaesa/PRA%20junk/GrenadeLaunchers.jpg

Need a big bang in a small package? Your underslung grenade launcher doesn't have the rate of fire you need? Get the GL-6! Featuring a six-round magazine and variable rate of fire, the GL-6 packs the fire power of a 30mm grenade into a pistol-sized package. With its bullpup configuration, accuracy rivals that of some UGLs.

Smartgun System

Consisting of a cell-phone sized computer, a laser rangefinder, a headset, and a wireless set, the Smartgun system allows users to vastly improve their aim and combat effectiveness. The laser rangefinder is mounted on the weapon, either underslung or attached to a standard accessory rail. The encrypted wireless system transmits data from the gun to a computer roughly the size of a cell phone (normally worn as a hip pack). Data from the computer is then transmitted to the headset, where data is displayed as a HUD. The wireless system is too low powered to broadcast beyond approximately two meters. The entire system is powered by several rechargable lithium ion batteries.

Data displayed includes range to the target, a red dot (color can be changed) indicating where the weapon is being aimed, ammunition left in the magazine (PRA Weapons only, due to their integral Smartgun jacks), and estimated flight path of grenade rounds.

The headset can be manufactured in a number of varieties, from mirror shades to night vision or thermographic goggles.

COST
600 USD for Mirrorshades
1200 USD for Night Vision or Thermographic Goggles

[OOC: While I find your Smartgun system very creative and an impressive combat aid, I am concerned about the cables. While I don't claim to be an expert on weapons design of any kind, I was wondering: how well would those cables hold up under strenuous combat conditions? Suppose a soldier is running for cover, gets a cable snagged on debris, and the cable is yanked out. Does he lose his Smartgun system because he was trying to save his life? I would think that a short-range wireless system would work better for the Smartgun system. Perhaps some more-secure equivalent of Bluetooth or somesuch standard.]

13mm isn't 5 inches. It's slightly larger than a 12.7mm round, which is .50, the same as the Desert Eagle. Thus quite usable.

[Sorry, I was looking at barrel length. However, I do take issue with the fact that your pistol has three round burst. Every automatic pistol in history has had a fairly small caliber but controlling the damn things in burst or full auto had terrible accuracy and control issues. Your pistol is going to be worse, it's going to be very heavy and the recoil in burst is going to be absolutely horrendous.

My favorite pistol is my father's 10mm Colt Delta Elite, there's enough recoil in that sucker that if anybody was to ever make a version with three round burst I'd promptly call them nuts and slowly back away. I value my wrists to much and take pride in the fact that I've never had a broken bone.]

[OOC: Based on the assumption that the Model 100 can be fitted with the new and improved wireless Smartgun system, might I be able to purchase unlimited production rights to both (the Smartgun components and the Model 100)? We'll compensate you handsomely. I'd like to use the Model 100 as the standard SMG for my military. I'd also like to inquire as to the possibility of acquiring production rights for the Thunderclap as well.

Finally, I was wondering two things about the Model 100. If we get production rights, do you mind if I modify a few units for use by covert operatives? This would entail a composite casing for the weapon, if possible, to avoid detection by metal detectors, and it would also perhaps add a silencer.]

Encrypted Transmission to PRA Small Arms Division Storefront

The Imperium is most interested in the various innovative weapons offered by PRA's new Small Arms Division. We have been most pleased with the quality of weapons purchased from PRA's Creative Weapons Division, and we expect no less from their new small arms.

Now, to business. The Imperium is currently in the process of standardizing the various components of its military, and we have decided that your Model 100 SMG would suit our requirements for the standard SMG of the Halberdgardian military. Therefore, we wish to purchase unlimited production rights to the Model 100 SMG, as well as the components for the wireless Smartgun system. Additionally, we require a standard anti-materiel weapon for our military, and thus we also wish to acquire unlimited production rights for the Thunderclap anti-materiel weapon.

Finally, we wish to inquire as to any limits regarding the production rights. We wish to make some modifications to the Model 100 for our covert operatives (namely, to create a new composite casing for selected units to fool metal detectors, as well as fitting the weapon with a silencer, if it is not already available), and we wish to know if the production rights agreement allows for this.

Our initial offer for production rights for both weapons, as well as the Smartgun system, is $250 million. Please let us know if we have bid too far to either extreme, and we will wire the correct sum. Thank you for your time.

It is us again, it is within our best interests to adopt the M26 along with the M32, therefore we have opened a bank account for you for the DPR of the M26 AR.

Name your price and you'll find the account full.

2,800,000,000 USD should cover it nicely. As soon as your money is received, a courier will be dispatched with the plans. As always, it's a pleasure doing business with you.

The money has been wired. It is from several dozen bank accounts, a way of keeping this transaction discreet.

We would like to purchase domestic production rights for your Godslayer anti-material weapon (I'm guessing it acts like a dumbfire rocket launcher? I intend to mount it on cargo trucks), the model 100 SMG for executive use (both military and non), and the PRA-120 Box Gun; along with production rights for associated ammuniton.

Name your price.

OOC: Think of the Godslayer like a cross between a dumbfire rocket and a small cannon. Pretty much a low velocity gun with rocket assisted shells. And sorry for the wait, there have been some slight *ahem* issues with me posting for the past couple of weeks.

Assuming you are still interested, your order would come to 18.2 billion USD.

What happened to the anti-vehicle thingers?

And would you be willing to take a custom order?

OOC: I'm currently working on fixing a few percieved errors in their stats, they should be back up reasonably soon. As for custom orders, I probably can, though it depends somewhat on what I'm designing.

OOC:

Hey there, Otagia. I hate to bug you here, but just in case my telegram didn't get through, I've got everything in place, and I just need to speak to you about one last detail before I begin killing you. Do you know when you might next be on MSN at all?

Well, I wanted to know if you could make an Air to Ground missile, and also an anti-vehicle weapon designed for the CA.
