Northern European Theatre Events 1415

Britain continues it's war on the French to the south, the main French Chivalry meets the English army in Agincourt resulting in a large scale battle. Scotland is fighting England, as an ally of France. France is not a very concentrated kindom, there are several pretty strong vassals like Orleanais, Bourbonne, Auvergne. Ireland is an independent nation, expect for Dublin.

East European Theatre Events 1415

Poland-Lithuania is massive.

South European Theatre Events 1415

Mameluks control everything from Cyrenaica in North Africa to Aleppo, north from Holy Land.

West European Theatre Events 1415

France is still at war with England, the Chivalric army has been sent to fight the peasants who have already sacked many towns and cities, the Duke of Burgundy, who is almost as strong as king of France, is an ally (though cautious one) of England and Brittany an independent nation, is also an ally of England. Venice is in the heights of its power, holding the east coast of Adriatic sea (Dalmatia) as well as Crete and Ionia.

The Battle Of Agincourt

Reginald took out an arrow and looked out upon the battlefield, the French had turned up in force, the French Knights looked wholly fierce but as long as Reginald had the St Georges cross on his chest he would hate the French scum, he slowly loaded the arrow and aimed to the sky, a simple order given by one of the other men in regiment would be all he would need.

He waited as the deathly silence, that plagued the begining of every battle, fed upon the nerves of the men in the regiment, Reginald stood proud but still nervous, he waited for the signal, soon it would arrive, "FIRE!!!" He and the hundreds of men around him suddenly released their tensly held arrows, to what end was unknown but it was hoped that they would reach their target of an arrogant French nobleman.

Through the heavy rain rode this rather scary-looking figure, towards the Inn of Screaming Pig. He had heard from a friend, that the inn was not too expencive, but rather clean and big enough for even a nobleman. Well, Jaques trusted his friend. Therefore he hadn't stopped in any of the former inns and taverns he had travelled by.

His trusted companion, a warmblood charger, Too good for this..., was getting tired like the man on top of it. It carried him up the hillside, and Jaques could sense the unhappines of his mighty mount. That's why both looked with great relief when the promising lights of the house came in sight when they achieved the top of the small hill.

Lightning stroke a tree pretty near, trying to start a small fire. However, rain didn't like the idea, and pressed it down. This was good, as meanwhile the young knight was entering the inn. The smoke and smell hit him at the doorstep. His horse ahd been taken care by the young son of the owner, who now ran towards the newcomer.

"What would you like to have, sir?" he asked, bowing all the time.
"Some food could do good. And best wine you have, too."
"Coming immediately, sir!" the innowner replied, and ran, if the fast-as-possible-moving of this rather fat man could be described as running, to fulfill the order.

Jaques took a seat near the fireplace, and started looking around.

The room was crowded with interresting-looking, and heavily armed, people.

Armin Martis strode down the muddy road, the familiar weight on his shoulder gone as he lowered his pike so as not to present a target for the flashing lightning. His pack with its chainmail contents clinked against his other possessions, but he did not stop to readjust it. He saw the light of an inn ahead, and pressed on.

Armin was a Swiss pikeman. In high demand as mercenaries throughout Europe, he nonetheless had been searching harder to find an employer recently. Nonetheless, he had some gold stored away, and could afford a night at an inn, especially with the storm crashing around him.

Armin reached the inn and dashed inside. He took a table and leaned his pike against one wall, stretching out and ordered a glass of ale. He then began to survey the other comers.

with the storm raging all around them they two hodded figures walked into the small town looking for a place to rest. they had left their horses where they fell the day before after being attacked by a group of bandits. the taller of the pair pointed to a large building towards the center of town. " that'll be the inn. lets go get some rest we can find work in the morning." wordlessly his companion started for the building checking his sword as he went. with one last look around the other followed him.

the inn was full of boisterous people trying to avoid the strom, or just having a drink at the bar. all talk and laughter ceased when the door opened and the two hooded figures walked in and headed to the bar. they could feel the stares of the inn's patrons and they lowered their hoods revealing ordinary faces. " some whiskey for me and my partner." the taller one ordered " and keep em comin'. " " not till i see the color of ur money stranger" the barkeep said " call me Garet, Garet Jax and my friend here is Cain" Garet said placing a gold coin on the countertop. " and have a room readied for us as we'll be staying the night to wait out the storm" the pair took their drinks and headed to a table to drink in peace.
