It was time.
Years have past as the Japanese let the Greenmanbry imperialists sit on Asian soil. How they wanted to take the Indo-China peninsula from them. Times have been changing, and the Japanese Empire had reached a strength in which they have already doubled in size with-in the past month. It was time to add onto that growth.
Joint Naval/Air Force base, Myanmar
The Chinese/Japanese Joint Naval/Air Force base was bustling with activity. Both Chinese and Japanese troops were boarding there designated aircraft for air drops and bombing runs, the 27th Infantry Division was being prepare to be dropped behind the enemy lines. Armor would arrive from Sumatra via Assault Fleet, and that would also introduce more troops. Hundreds of thousands of troops were being prepared for this series of Expansion. Soon the Greenmanbrian Asian lands would be absorbed into the Japanese Empire.
The newly aquired territories of Malaysia and Brunei were close by, but since the Norwegians were busy with establishing themselves there, they would do nothing against the Chineese or Japaneese. They probably wouldn't have anyway, as the Greenmanbryans weren't allies of neither Norway nor the old Cottish Empire. Instead, they did another thing.
Message to joint Sino-Japaneese task force
If any of your vessels are damaged, we will allow for them to seek safe haven in Brunei and Malaysia and allow them to repair and resupply the ships. All we ask is that they enter with weapons systems offline and friendly intentions.

OOC: EXCUSE ME!
Now that I have your attention, please note that Zhonghua is merely standing back and allowing Japan to invade Greenmanbry; our troops are not actually doing any fighting. This is mainly because the Emperor is insane, so he won't order Chinese troops to help our allies, and the Zhonghuan government is scheming to get rid of the Emperor, so they need as many troops as possible free to help in removing the nutty old sod.

In light of the recent activity in the Pacific on the part of the Japanese, the Empire of Layarteb is forced to close the Panama Canal to all belligerent nations involved in wars or acts of aggression in the Pacific. Any nation wishing to move military ships into the Pacific will not be granted passage through the Canal.

Myanmar-Greenmanbryan Border
Over a Million troops have been prepared in the past months to take over the Greenmanbryan Asian Colonies. Only 350,000 would be used to take the colonies as the rest lay in reserve and in the defense of Myanmar. Already a fleet from Indonesia was launched, just passing through Norwegian waters they have made it into Greenmanbryan waters. Fully engaged, signs pointed to a counter assault by Greenmabryan troops on Myanmar.
Captain Watanabe and his squad were one of the first squads to be inserted into Thailand by Helicopter, just outside of Bangkok. His squad, consisting of 3 others, met up with two other squads and were already on their way to make way for Japanese armor. Bombing raids were taking place all over the nation, long ranged artillery from the border was landing throughout the rice patties of Thailand. A full out war was underway.
The outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand
Captain Watanabe was speaking with the other two Captains, Saito and Takahasi. They were clerifying their orders, making sure no one else was confused. Immediatly afterwards the three squads splat up, all taking designated paths to help clear and secure three of the main roads leading into Bangkok from the West. Watanabe and his squad were the first to be engaged.
"MEDIC!!" screamed Corporal Tanaka as he crouched near the flailing Private Nakamura. He was shot in the neck and obviously wouldn't make, but the Corporal's instincts told him otherwise.
"God dammit!" he yelled aloud. He remained firing twards the Greenmanbryan MG Nest, which was maned by Greenmanbryans and Thailandish soldiers. He turned over and picked up Nakamura over his back, and ran back for cover. Two shots in Tanaka's back, yet he remained moving.
"Ta..n..aka.." came the hollow whisper from Nakamura as he was finally slipping into death. The bullet wound was to the side, hitting an artery and not exactly the esaphagous or breathing passage. Nakamaru placed his hands over it, but truthfully the Private was as good as dead. Thats when the pain finally caught up with him, the two bullets had entered at two distinct locations. One above his hip, and one on his left mid-back. He found himself being imobile, and thus faced him self twards the enemy lines and stared down the scope of his rifle trying to pick off the enemy one by one through it's small magnification meant for close quarters combat.
"Where is Tanaka and Nakamura?" shouted Private Ito.
"Shit...just keep fighting, otherwise were ALL dead!" replied Captain Watanabe. Just two against an entire defense, then they realized the popping noises from behind and multiple riflemen falling. The two men charged forwards, shooting in short bursts and taking out multiple men. Private Ito recieved a shot to the thigh, and fell on one knee but continued to fire through the immense pain. He was a medic, and thus had what was needed to quell the pain.
"Cover me!" he shouted to the Captain, who fell on knee to take better aim. Private Ito applied the needle into his thigh, right into the aorta and injected the adrenaline into him. Then another needle, injecting the morphene into him. He thrusted himself up, and started firing in bursts again. The Captain sprung to his feet and followed in. They continued walking down, bullets wizzing past them as they took out multiple targets. Then came the low screach of a jet, which strafed the path and dropped a bomb ontop of a small bunker.
"Yes!" whispered the Captain. The cavalry was on it's way, 27th infantry division and all. The Greenmanbryans and those who resisted them would learn a new meaning of fighting, the 27th would have their fun.
The outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand...around the same time Captain Watanabe's squad began their assault.
Captain Takahase and his men were proned at the edge of a small rice paddie, taking fire but giving out some of their bullets there selves. The squad was the same size as Watanabe, 4 men in total. Takahase began to think over what to do, then shouted.
"Sergeant Kobayashi and Corporal Yamada, take the left flank. Private Sugiyama on me. Break!" The men did as their Captain commanded, and the two experienced soldiers prepared to sprint. Private Sugiyama looked into his Captain blankly, eye to eye, and began to speak.
"Ca...Captain...are you sure you want me to go with you?This..this is just my first combat. I'm not ready, atleast..I think." The Captain just stared at the Private, and smiled.
"Everything'll be fine, now..on me." he replied, and then he turned his head twards the Sergeant and Corporal. "GO GO GO!!!" and all 4 of them were off. The Sergeant carried a Machinegun, so began firing the moment he got to his feet as the Corporal fired his standard issue rifle. The Private and the Captain went sprinting twards another position to fire from. The Private had an attached grenade launcher, and the Captain had the new age rifle. They reached the small hill, or lump in the ground, and got onto their bellies.
"I can't see the Corporal or Sergeant!" the Private frantically yelled to the Captain.
"Don't worry, they'll be fine. Here, you see that bunker?" the Captain asked the Private, which he recieved a nod.
"Good, launch a grenade into it." the Captain told Private Sugiyama, who frantically readied his gun.
"Relax, just take it easy. Okay?" the Captain tried to assure him. The Private crawled up the 'lump' in the ground just a little bit and took precise aim, and launched the grenade. An explosion occured, and multiple screams came out of the bunker. The Captain gave the Private a smile, and motioned to get up. They were both up and began sprinting twards the bunker. Their they could see the other two. The Sergeant had his bipod deployed, and the Corporal sempt to be grabbing his own arm for a second. Then a bleak pause, and a puff came off of his chest, sending him onto the ground. Who knew if he was alive now, he had his kevlar on and most likely was okay. But wasn't too happy.
"The Corporal, he's hit!" the Private said.
"Relax Sugiyama, if he wasn't wearing kevlar then he wouldn't have flown straight on his ass. If he slumped down slowly, then that'd be bad." the Captain assured the Private again, and started going forward in a crouched position. The Private followed suit, and they approached the edge of the bunker. The sergeant was reloading, so the Captain leaned over and began firing. There were a few soldiers rushing forwards, but they were all hit by the Captain's burst fire. An A-10 came soaring from the sky, and unleashed several bombs further down the road. The Captain started firing again, taking out another soldier. The Sergeant continued firing full blast down the road, and suddenly there was the sound of a helicopter. Then two helicopters, then multiple helicopters.
Yes, they were attack helicopters. A rocket was fired from the ground, and the group of atleast 5 broke away and the rocket twirled aimlessly into the ground. Then one fired it's rockets twards a building, bringing it crashing into the ground. Multiple tanks appeared down the road, in which the sergeant quickly rolled with his gun behind cover. The 5 attack hellicopters started firing all of their rockets into the group of 8 tanks, destroying them all. Then came the sound of tanks again, but from the west. Finally, the Japanese armored had broke through and were at the capital.
Same place, same time as the assault...
Captain Saito and his squad faced little resistance. They had delayed their assault, being the ones who called in aerial support. 3 A-10 Thunderbolts strafed twards the city, firing there cannons at the enemy lines and dropping multiple bombs. The Greenmanbryan Air Force sempt to be occupied by the other aerial assaults and the ensuing air battle over the coasts, where Marines were to assault.
Captain Saito and his men walked calmly twards the blazing town entrance, but a surviving Greenmanbryan soldier picked up his rifle and fired it.
"Get that Son of a Bitch! The Captains hit!" screamed out Sergeant Ochi. The Greenmanbryan soldier was fired upon, two machinegunners in the squad had taken care of him. The Sergeant, whom was the squad medic too, worked frantically on the shot sergeant. But it was futile, it was directly through the jaw, resting somewhere now in an elevated staces in the brain. He took out his pancho and covered the Captain's head. The squad sat there, preparing defenses.
By the time they were finished, a truck fool of troops came rolling past. They all boore the 27th Patch on their shoulders, and eyed the Sergeant for a moment. The Sergeant just stared them down, not entirely liking the 27th as most of the regular troops did not. He sighed, and a helicopter landed nearby. The squad boarded the aircraft, carrying their dead Captain on a stretcher. The flew westwards a couple of miles, supposedly meeting up with the other two squads.
Japanase Forwards Assault Base
Two of the squads were nestled in. Captain Watanabe and Captain Takahasi, but where was Saito's squad? Their helicopter had been shot down, the entire thing had been heard throughout the command tent as they were speaking with the pilot and co-pilot of the helicopter.
"OH SHIT!!!WHERE ARE THEY SHOOTING FROM? FUCK, LIEUTENANT KAI IS DEAD. SH..." end transmission. Captain Watanabe offered for his squad to be dropped at the crash site but it was dismissed. Another squad had been sent, a 27th Division squad. They had reported back, only one survivor. But he was unconcious. He was a Sergeant, the exact Sergeant who had tried and save Captain Saito's life. With the only survivor retrieved, the helicopter electronics were destroyed.
A man walked into the tent where the two squads sat, and began speaking.
"Your efforts in Bangkok shall not go unrewarded. You have been requested to come back to Tokyo as soon as possible. The Emperor wishes to award you all personally. This is a great honor, I would pack up now if I were you. Congratulations, we all hope you hurry back soon. We'll need men like you to ensure the takeover of Greenmanbryan Indo-China. You are all dis-missed, debriefing to come prior to your meeting with the Emperor." The man finished, and walked out. He wasn't dressed in military suit, but in a fine and ellegant dress. He must have been sent here by the Emperor him self to keep an eye over the operations. Just another lackie supposedly, but oh well. The men packed up, and were greeted outside by a helicopter.
Tokyo, Japan
On live TV throughout Japan there were images of the takeover Thailand and Cambodia. Troops were shown smiling, eating dinner and conversing. Next was Laos, and the three squads would be used again there to aid in taking multiple bridges over the massive rivers. But first, their debriefing. They were asked multiple questions, in which they were supposedly to answer no to.
"Were you involved with secret operations in the takeover of Bangkok?"
"May you tell us how you operate Japanese war equipment."
They were all basic questions, ensuring the soldiers wouldn't squeal information to unexpected spies and loudmouthed civilians. They were released, and were quickly changed into there military dressings. They were then walked out into a large room, onto a stage infact. The Emperor greeted them, shaking their hands and congratulating them. They had all recieved medals of bravery and the Sergeant, still unconcious, had apparently recieved the medal of honor.
They were told that the Sergeant of Saito's squad was being tended to by Japan's best medical staff, and that their fallen comrades would be commemerated. The dead Captain and Private had recieved the "Emperor's Medal of Honor" and medals for bravery and medals representing their deaths for the Empire. A ball was held, and funerals planned. The three squads would report for duty as of the next day.
The next day, airforce/naval base located outside of Tokyo.
The squads had been briefed again. They were to form a platoon and take the biggest bridge of them all crossing the river into the capital of Laos. They were congratulated for the night before, and were told this mission was of utmost importantcy. They were filed up in the Cargo jet, and were sent on their way into Cambodia. They would march on from there and aid in establishing a forward base, and would be taken by helicopter to the bridge.
The Aftermath
The three squads had been succesful in their objective, losing no-one. They had mainly been involved with pinpointing exact artillery coordinates that would not alter the shape of the bridge, and were incharge of keeping Greenmanbryan troops from destroying the bridge. Armor moved forwards, obliterating everything in their paths. Multiple bombers had flown over head, bombing the city entirely.
Now it was time for the most important step of them all, keeping the new land secured. The rest of the troops that were left as reserves would be used to keep the lands secured. They would be incharge of recruiting new policemen, soldiers, and organization of a workforce to keep the lands from falling into poverty.
In all, a total number of 3,421 infantry had fallen and another 2,930 were wounded. This blitzkrieg styled assault had worked, but time would only tell how the securing and maintaining of the lands would be like.

OOC - My definition of Asia is...Chinese/Japanese/Korean look-alikes as well as Whities who are encroached in the big islands down south :-P
Anyways, I have no interests west of Myanmar.
Infact, I'll help send humanitarian aid to distract terrorists and rebel fighters if ya want lol.
