This is just a thought I had and this is in no way the exact way its going to work - so if you have any suggestions, feel free to tell me. The basic idea of the RP (as the name states) is that everyone is a knight, like in the time of King Arthur. I am going to RP the King (King Alfred of the house of Stuart) as well as a knight (Sir Bane Spire). Everyone else will RP a knight but can choose from the following:
-knight of the king's court
Basically someone like Sir Lancelot or a knight of the round table. Someone who is in the king's court and is loyal to him.
-wandering knight
Someone who is a knight but has no allegance or good/evil affiliation. Maybe this person lives in the woods or guard a bridge.
-knight traveling to the king's court
Someone who became a knight at a different court and has come to the king's court to join the king's "round table".
-person striving to be a knight
A regular person who is not yet a knight. He is looking to be knighted by the king and will need to do great deeds first.
-evil knight.
Self-explanitory. A knight with evil intentions - maybe he despises the king's courts and knight, and has vowed to kill has many as he can.
The king will be alerting the knights of adventures and the such that need to be accomplished, but knights can also hear of them other ways including knowing of them in advance. The king will be bestowing rewards and honor upon those who accomplish the tasks and perform great deeds - however this also means that if a knight is cowardly and the king finds out about it, they will be shamed.
Do not be afraid to backstab and be dishonest and disloyal, however if the king finds out about it, the knight in quesiton will most likely be punished depending on what they did - including revoking their knighthood.
Notes:
a) Although I am not disallowing woman characters (because it would be rather inaccurate), I would suggest that you be a very good RPer and give the character a very interesting history as to why she became/becoming a knight.
b) The king will be hosting events like jousting tournaments at times during the story so it is not all going to be venturing and the like.
c) Knights can meet up and work together if they would like, but this too was rare.
d) This is in no way historical and the characters are not going to be King Arthur and the like.
e) Knights cannot use magic...
-As of right now, I am not going to be allowing any wizards or magic characters (all though this may change), because I am trying to keep it a Knight RP.
f) Do not attempt to kill the king - he is god in this RP. I will be RPing him as a NPC.

He is currently a high ranking member of the King's court, but nowhere near where his father was.

However, unidentified group of dark knights raided, robbed and burned the castle soon after he he ad left. His passion is to find who were these, and to seek revenge. Has fought with gallantry and honour against the enemies of his king.
Equipment: Fine bastard-type (one-and-a-half-hand) sword.
Other: Well made armour, steel shield with family herald.

Skill: Amazing ability at close quarters combat, pretty decent with a bow, average at mounted jousting style combat.
Knighthood: Wandering Knight
History (optional): Born in Bergen, Sven completed his education and travelled to Drun, where he became a Berserker for a few years. He was eventually Knighted by the Queen of Callisdrun. He married a female sailor named Tzigane Sorvik, thus joining her clan, and with her had a daughter. Sven has been involved in many campaigns for Iron Throne (Callisdrunian royalty). He does not like to talk about his reasons for being here and not in his home country.

Many underestimate the speed with which these weapons can be wielded. He is also known to sometimes use a small parrying sword in his other hand.

Other:Something of a 'Gentleman Knight,' Enigma has forsaken the heavy armor of other knights for speed. His rapier is a lightning quick and effective piercing weapon in his hands, but it cannot stand up to blows from large broadswords, nor can it always manage to pierce heavy armor. Enigma is an expert at distance killing with his Longbow, and prefers to fight without being seen.

After that he moved to the court of the Kingdom of Navarra, where he was put in battle against Aragon, where the army of Navarra faced a severe defeat. Fearing punishment for the battle he fled north to France and spent the rest of the year earning a living as a jouster and living off the money of the Count of Barcelona.

History (optional): Though many of the Tocrowkian tribes have been united, many also remain rogues, and constantly threaten Tocrowkia's established cities. The need to protect the cities borders, especially those of Pharamas's was great, and so the Ranger's were formed. They were highly skilled bowsman and women, exellent at stealth and camoflauge. Cassandra Ziegmar was a Tocrowkian Ranger, but after hearing of the knights in Europe, something seemed to awaken within her. She traveled to Europe on a cargo ship, for what purpose she didn't know...she just needed to.
Equipment (optional) Oak longbow + twnety longbows, long sword and sheath, light leather armor and a black cloak.
