The new ICCM, called the Scimitar, is a sub-launched missile based off the SCM-105 ICCM.

ICM-110 Scimitar
Dimensions: 15.2m length x 2.6m diameter x 8.6m wingspan (without booster)
Weight: 34,500kg without booster
Range: >7500km (hi-hi-lo profile), >4000km (hi-lo-lo profile)
Altitude: >75,000ft
Speed: >Mach 3.0
Payload: >4000kg (HE, FAE, chemical, nuclear, or 120x BAT)
Guidance: Inertial with GPS and dual-LADAR/radar TERCOM; IR and EO at terminal
Countermeasures: Radar warning receiver and rear-positioned missile warning system, computerized flare and chaff dispenser, bay for one launched decoy
Construction: Light composites and alloys, some application of ceramics in certain areas; RAM coating applied throughout missile; semi-switchblade wings
Propulsion: Solid fuel rocket booster (attached onto aft of missile), two hybrid PDE-turbofan engines with thrust-vectoring
Platforms: Converted SSBN (shallow depth launch)

Despite the fact that the launch platform will be an SSBN, strategic payloads will rarely, if ever, be carried. By keeping the SBM-2B SLBMs in service, a differentiation in each missile's role will hopefully keep enemies from pushing the Big Red Button when a Scimitar is launched.
