OOC: Alright. The last one was a failure, so I'm doing something else. This time it will be set not in the Milky Way galaxy, or in any of those other galaxies that some people inhabit. This is a new galaxy. Remember that.
The IC Story: The Probes have set up shop in this galaxy shop for some time, though it's been quite small. However, it's about to recieve its first contact with...well, we'll see who signs-up.

IC: "How badly have the programs degraded?" queried the mid-level program.
"Quite badly superior" replied the diagnostic program.
"When can we expect it to be repaired?"
"Not soon enough. We will have problems in sector Gamma-76549."
"What sort of problems."
"For one sir, the population ahs already fallen."
"This is too slow. I shall recommend a full-scale programing repair."
On Gamma-765492, it was quiet. An unnatural quiet, as the buildings, of a societ around the Industrial Revolution, had a fresh "ghost" look. It was eerie, but even more so when a sound was heard. It was nat natural, and neither was its source, a probe, left behind to learn of anything of interest. There was little, and it had already learned those things. To relieve the boredom, it shot a small rodent creature nearby.

Telkaryuo looked upon the data, interested. There had been increased emissions from nearby sectors-unexplored sectors. What they contained was unknown, and the Rarteck was more concerned with strenghtening its rule over its current erritories than exploration. However, the unusual nature, combined with the crushing of the Politysk Revolt, would allow expeditions. And so, Telkaryou informed his commanders. After a short discussion involving the logistics, the okay was given.
