The press secretary stepped up to the podium covered with microphones of many different international news organizations. He cleared his throat before speaking to the room fulled to the brim with reporters.
"Thank you for coming on such a short notice. The King will be out in just a minute, when he gets out he will be reading a short speech and then he will awnser questions from the floor." The King stepped out from around the burgundy curtian in a plain black tuxedo, and ajusted his bowtie before beginning.
"Citizens of the world, I am King Horus, leader of the Kingdom of Vietnamexico. For the past month my people have experienced something that no one should ever have to know. The agony of genocide. For the past month, the minority Darian rebels have been killing off the Muurite majority in three of our southern provinces, Vindel, Gadalajara, and Belize. They have been murdering adults and children alike, and the security forces in the area were told by Security Minister Bill Sawyer to retreat from the provinces. The Darian rebels are hard to find and the Nubanta gangs roaming the provinces killing the Muurites, are hard to contain as they are small and easily mobile. Some nations have asked to carpet bomb the area and I refuse to allow that, for the Muurites will perish as well. I ask that you, the people of teh world will help my land in our time of need. I ask that you send me food, and help me protect the refugee camp in the province of Vindel, which is under constant attack. Please send us food and water, for if you were standing up here where I am, wouldn't you want help. I will know take some questions from the floor."
