Tocrowkia reveals press laws

Tocrowkia's press laws have long been under scrutiny from their International community and various human rights organization, and have been asked to reveal the full extent of the law. And as the Ministry of Public Enlightenment, the Government branch in charge of media laws, is tired of thousands of letters piling in, they have decided to reveal them to the world:
1)All Media Organizations are required to register with the Imperial Government. If a pirate radio station or an illegal newspaper is made, a federal investigation is launched and the person(s) behind these illegal activities are arrested.
2)All stories for Newspaper articles/columns and News Station stories are required to be checked upon by Government officials. If the story is 'Good', it is allowed to be published. But if it promotes anti-government activities, liberal point of views, or critiques of the Reich, the story is deemed 'Bad' and it is not allowed to be published.
3)Media organizations are ordered to believe Government journalists before their own. The Government is always right. Their every word is true.
4)All independent/free lance journalists/photographers are ordered to register with the Ministry of Public Enlightenment so the Government can monitor their activities.
5)Every Radio Station/TV News Program/News Paper must promote the Government in some way or another.

Somebody bumped this WAY down.
These laws are offensive.

As a result of these laws, the Snake News Network (SNN), and all other major broadcasters with the nation of Snake Eaters are no longer reporting news from Tocrowkia. All journalists have been withdrawn from the region. Also, all major broadsheet newspapers (tabloids are banned in Snake Eaters) are no longer printing news regarding this nation. THis is because they openly object to the restriction of the freedom of the press.

To your nation, perhaps. But we know what's best for our people to know.

ooc: Don't bother declaring war on me, you won't get a response, seeing as how I'm generally strapped for time.
Official MP Government Response:
Wow.... so you're so insecure that you restrict the freedoms of the press. You all must not have much between your collective legs to be doing what you're doing. Well, except for your bitch of a leader. She's probably got a pair swinging down there. Anyway, what's there to your press laws except the desire to hold onto power and quash sources of dissent? It's stupid, classic totalitarian laziness. Oh well, it figures, pseudo Nazi poseurs are never too intelligent anyway. Thanks for showing us just what kind of ignorance you all capable of.
Have a fucked up day.

That's the way. Those idiots who call themselves "liberals" are such a pain in the ass, best way to deal with them is to just simply arrest/execute/brainwash them. However, if you still feel that your society aint ready for that as it seems to be in this case, then shutting their mouths is a good option. You have our full support and congrats.
Still, I personally prefer the final solution and suggest you do that too as soon as possible. My country, for instance, hasn't been suffering any riots, strikes or civil disobedience after the Operation Pure Nation in which some 50,000 traitors were executed and their kids taken into our military to be raised as decent citizens.
Sincerely,
Warhief Tamujid, The Minister of Everyting in
Armed Republic of Madnestan

"Of all the tyrannies in the world, that of Tocrowkia appears to be the least threatening. For a state with such restrictive laws concerning the press, it appears to be a gaffe of monumental proportions that would allow the very body concerned with regulating media to release a statement portraying Tocrowkia as an oppressive dictatorship to all the peoples of the world. Such a Government will undoubtably fall within the fullness of time - it is too incompetant to survive."

Official Statement, Incorporated Sarzonian Government
We find the media laws in Tocrowkia to be a laughable exercise by a pathetic government that lives in mortal fear that someone would actually tell the truth and expose their lies and hypocrisy. Step aside and let people who actually have a clue run your country.

Statement from the Premier
Federative Central Government
Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
This appears to be simply another nation wishing to hide something. If a nation has to restrict its policies to such a degree, that its very people live in such an oppressive society, that there freedoms are tightened, then it is only a matter of time before revolutionary armies and subversion takes its course, destroying the repressive capital.
The Soviet Union will keep its collective eye on Tocrowkia in case of certain policies that could advance into an expansionist foreign policy. If this occurs, the Political Bureau will inact the Worldwide Mir Initiative within the domestic and foreign policies of the CCCP. As many members of the international community knows, this will allow immediate military action and pre-emptive strikes to cause the re-establishment of a non-exploitive administration. However, we do not believe this will be necessary at the time.
Sincerely,
Vladimir Ivanovich Troskin, Ph.D.
Premier of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
