The masterminds behind Inferno Engineering, Haven Electronics, Scram-Tech Industries, and Phantom Manufaturers have completed work on several new lines of craft. Aging craft in the Galactic Inferno shall be rotated out of service as these new marvels are accepted.

One of the main advancements is the switch from pulse and/or other short burst lasers and Turbolasers to full fledged beam cannons. Beam-cannons fire a continuous stream of energy, and generate a ton of heat, but advancements in cooling have allowed for their placement on ships from Dreadnoughts to fighters.

Most statistics are completly classified, but Sanctuary News Network (tm) has gathered the few items and pictures available to the public, and assembled it into a single convienient place.

Scram-Tech F/I-4 "Snub" Fighter/Interceptor

Atmospheric/space version shown. There is a version made for purely space flight (F/I -4S), that lacks the red tail fins. However, the S is not scheduled for widespread production.

weapons:
2 continuous beam cannons (unknown power rating)
4 box launchers, each capable of holding 4 rockets, 2 heavy torpedos, or a single heavy mine or bomb.

The craft is known to be shielded, and is a single seater. There are reports that the craft is 1X hyperdrive capable, although these remain unconfirmed by official sources.

This ship can support FAST (Fuel and Sensor tactical) packs on the wings. They add in more energy and sensor ability to this already powerful craft.

Scram-Tech B-12 "Spade" Bomber

4 continuous beam cannons
1 box launcher, holding 8 rockets. Official sources confirm that this box can only support rockets, and is always kept full under normal conditions
2 multiporpose box launcers, one each left and right. Each supports 8 rockets, 4 torpeedos, 2 mines/bombs, a single ultraheavy rocket

There are rumors that if the launchers are removed completly, the craft can support a single guided nova bomb via explosive bolts. This craft is also shielded, and is a tandem ship. It is also believed to be 1X capable.

Phantom G-7 "Phoenix" Gunship

weapons:
2 beam turrets (dorsally and ventrally mounted)
4 foreward facing rocket launchers (dual tubes left and right)
6 boxes ventrally, three each left and right. Supporting 16 rockets, 8 torpeedos, or 4 bombs/mines per pair of boxes. The boxes are paired left and right to joint magazines. This ship can support a pair of Nova bombs if it is stripped down and reconfigured.

This ship is 1X hyper capable, has a crew of 6, and is believed to have a decent endurance. Very little to nothing is known about this ship otherwise.


These ships are not believed to be available for widespread export, but official sources did mention the possibility of limited sale to close allies on a case-by-case basis.

Inferno Engineering FG-129 "Hornet" Frigate

We have the most available information on this ship. It is also 1X hyperdrive capable. It can support two nova bombs strapped to the outriggers, but it rarely carries them. This ship is currently being rotated into service, unlike the others, which are still having their production facilities constructed.

Notes:
Rockets: basic anti-fighter weaponry
Torpeedos: slower but far more powerful. Used against larger targets like Frigates.
Nova Bombs: Technological marvels, these terrible weapons cause a cascading fusion reaction. They are so named because they cause targets to look like a star supernova-ing. The bombs have adjustable power levels to control destruction. Very few are used due to their size and price, but they are very efficient at their job: anihilation. This is a capital-ship scale weapon, and as such, it is very difficult for strike craft to carry even one.

ooc: Does anyone see any problems with these or the tech? I'm kinda new at this, even though I've been Rping a while. Yes there are some holes in the stats, this is intentional.

ooc: yeah, I did base them off the general idea of a plane design. They're small scale craft, so everything but the frigate will definatly have to fight in an atmosphere, and the frigate probably will.

I did all the models in Doga
