Subjugator class Nuclear-Power Ballistic/Guided Missile Missile Submarine
Displacement: 85,000 tons (light), 98,000 tons (submerged)
Dimensions: 270M L x 26M W x 32M D (submerged)
Propulsion:
2 x Pebblebed reactors rated at 125Mw each
1 x Electrical Induction Propellor Assembly (with no shaft) in an Acoustically Dampened Housing
Speed: 32+ knots (top speed, submerged)
Crew: 120
Endurance: Limited to crew endurance only.
Radar:
APAR-SX Mod 1 Air/Surface (Medium Range Air/Surface Search/Targeting)
G04 Navigation
Command and Control:
Falltech GSWDC Control Bloc (Ship Control)
Strategic Launch Verification System
Host arrays for multilink combat systems (such as AEGIS)
EW/decoys:
Four Dual Reloadable Noisemaker Decoy Units
Falltech ‘Squidink’ LIDAR Disruption Decoy (releases a chemical detergent from the subs sides that alter the density of the surrounding water, misguiding LIDAR based systems. Affects both friendly and enemy LIDAR)
Falltech Mk44 Acoustic Intercept
Falltech Mk603 Intercept/Jamming Unit
Host arrays for ELINT equipment
LIDAR:
Nose Mounted Attack Active LIDAR Array
Towed LIDAR/SONAR Array
Aviation: None, though deck strengthened to accept landing helicopter whilst surfaced.
Armament:
6 x 650mm OR 4 x 1000mm Torpedo Tubes (40 Torpedoes/Sub-launched ASMs)
24 x SLBM Tubes OR 216 Mk.72S SVLS (same size as standard strategic VLS)
6 x 50mm Underwater Supercav Railguns (can only be deployed at shallow depths and low speed)
2 x 500kw Falltech ‘Deadeye’ Laser CIWS, surface use only.
Armour: Technically subs don’t carry armour. However, the structure of the submarine is a triple pressure hull made up of Titanium-Vanadium-Aluminium with crush zones and signficant hull bracing and honeycombing. The surface of the sub however, is the greatest innovation, taking the SS’s gel coating and storing it in a membranic, organic like covering that prevents the gel from dispersing. Layer is very effective at reducing both internal noise escape and dispersing incoming sonar, BUT is easily damaged.
Cost: $4 Billion EACH
