For what Purpose? (Closed, Attn. Kaiser Marten and Friends)
Leaves scattered across the vivid highway, as the trees only rotted to death as the winter scorch had frosted the tips with an icy wind. The mountains deft with snow, the winding concrete road twisting into it’s heathen center, warmth emanating from the stone hard earth the only source of heat within this god-forsaken land, the sands down below still scorching in blazes. Jenrak was in a poor state these days, never so horrendous in climate, so odd and yet unstable. Daily, blasts of snow and rain littered and engulfed the mountaintops, past the dwindling tree-lines as the forests crept slowly closer to the ground. But the sand perched at the bottom drained the roots of all water and killed the plants, only the lichens strong enough to live in this harsh climate. It was here, in this twisting desert of both sand and snow, that a small group of cars drizzled their way through the winding highway, only to stop at a dead end in the rock face. Inside the group, was a long black limousine, and within it, a various assortment of people sat dazed.
One of them, a remorseful looking woman, with long striking blonde hair and a perceptive stare, only glanced out tired at the scenery, the billowing still heard outside. Sitting next to her, a tall, handsome and black haired man, dark etches carved into his flesh of a face, tapped his fingers softly and slowly in patience, his eyes held upon a blinking man who smelled like pure gasoline. Only a small clicking of gears were heard beneath his cloak, and they waited, as the sliding glass went down. From it, a long, black haired man with a sharp and cold whisper of a voice, sat beside a woman with long blonde hair as well, a silver lacing of a crown thatched upon her pretty head. “Thaathall” The man only said, in his cold demeaning voice, as the tall, whirring man only clicked his fingers like a machine, and the rock face made way as it opened into a long, twisting tunnel.
“Close the gates when we enter, Nahk.” Arcarum said, his eyes still on the tunnel that laid before them, his Queen still sitting gracefully and still.
“Of course, Arcarum.” The tall and winding man spoke coldly, his voice an echoing, metallic drone, as if he spoke through a carefully lined metal can. “We will arrive in a matter of minutes.”
“Good. I do not wish to be waiting long for it, so hurry it up.” Arcarum said, as the handsome man, Saerus, chuckled softly in the odd silence.
“Another move? An offensive? What reason would this bring?” Saerus asked Arcarum, who did not move, nor had not said anything.
When they finally reached the hallow of the wide gaping maw, the buzzing and the hive of activity around them aroused up into a large pulsing throb. People scattered around working, metal walls keeping them warm in the icy frost, with radiators galore. Generals, and Patriarchs, Captains and all of the manner of forces worked away, as the mobilization began. Stepping out onto the hard catwalk platform, Nahk had entered into the fray, looking at the screens. “Are the messages sent?” He asked the operators, as they shook their heads.
“Alright, send them now.”

InterProvincial News of Jenrak
Recently today, Military bases have been active, and soldiers in the army ranging from ages 16 to 40 have been assigned a training course on scale offensives. Tanks and artillery have been mobilized, and regularly aircraft found skimming the skies, returning to floating and preparing carriers at sea. What could be only a simple mobilization could be possibly more. More later tonight, so stay tuned.
OOC: For Me personally, this is just a 'fun' thread, not actually counting for anything. So anybody actually interacting with me in other threads, don't worry about what happens in this one.

A capitol Police trooper was stood looking out across the Shores of the Kraven Coastline, from the Coastal defenses he could see far across the Ice sheet, Silent and Empty, the winds howled like some ferocious beast, but this did not bother him... He took a step along the Wall, the snow underfoot crunching softly, he did not pay attention to this either, because this soldier was near enough a machine, he did not feel human emotions, he did not feel pain, he rarely tired, or slept, didn't need to eat, felt no pity or remorse, showed no mercy towards enemies and completed orders without question....
This was a Capitol Police trooper, these were the Soliders and Police of the Corporation, Psychologicaly devestating for those who face this Inhuman killing machines, staring at you through the red glow of the Troopers Optical mags, eyes that showed no emotion, no hint that this thing was at all human...
In his hands was a GPMG, the standard load out of all Capitol Police troopers, the 50 round belt hung limpy down from the Chamber as he took another slow purposefull step....
Wisps of condensation formed from the Scrubbers in his Backpack connected by a series of Pipes to the gas mask he wore at all times, he took another step, when the Roar of Vtol Super transports went overhead, these were Massive Vtols, designed to carry 8 of the Assault Craft that were packed with more Capitol Police troopers, the Vtols flew in formation, climbing to their ceiling height.. 10 Twinturbofan Ramjet engines powering the massive craft through the air....
Once of the target zone, the Assault craft would disconect, dropping through the atmosphere, while the Twinturbofan Ramjets controlled the decent, the Assault craft would steadily level out, and fly to the Drop zone.
Once the Craft is over the drop zone, the assault craft would begin the attack, using its 110mm ETC EM rifled cannon to initiate the attack, then dropping the troops off, while at the same time covering their advance, the Assault craft would then maintain a close support role with the troops, ensuring the attack would go unfaltered.

A man wearing a dull blue uniform and a yellow bandana around his neck spoke to another man in a similar uniform. Four stood with the plain soldier in similar uniforms.
"I want you to go and take that town just down this path."
He pointed in the direction of the path.
"There will be others behind you, but it would be better if we did not need them. Get going."
The four plain soldiers walked down the path and stopped as they reached a marked tree. Three of them were elves and one was human. In their hands were Spencer rifles, except for the leader(the one speaking with the one with the yellow bandana, also an elf), who carried an M79 grenade launcher. The men with spencers had on their belts narrow cylindrical tubes, which were crude chargers for the Spencer.
"Well.."
The leader was the only one to speak. The marked trees demarcated a relatively open border and heavily defined militia warfare. The elves were the ones to come up with this sort of idea.
They all walked across the border into KM territory, down the path of no return toward the small border town. They secretly hoped there was no garrison, that they might just have to greet the CO as he moved in. Maybe..
Siege Engines glittered the desert, aircraft speckling the sky like dots, and the horizon of water only covering it's frosty white capped tips, the armies of the united provinces of Jenrak placed together in a tandem. They would be fighting an enemy on their own turf, on their own conditions, and intelligence is much needed on this escapade. But then, they would also have allies; nations and bodies of political power who seek to gain favour and strength as well in this invasion, this imminent occupation.
With gears roaring and engines clicking into sync, the marching of the soldiers in the transports railed from every train station and airport they could see, the port bow city of Ouridna spotted with soldiers and men, crewmen and warriors. From the low leveled, quick minded recruits, to the highly trained, cunning Sirens, all of the matter of the army boarded into Jenrak's prized navy.
It would be a battle of their terms, and their terms stated it clearly, no chemical weponry. Although depriving Jenrak of it's specialty, it's lethal quality, it is quite still a claim to have a venerable navy, and a powerful infantry force to counter ground defenses. They would make sure that the foe would never be powerful enough to fight back, to take them down; that it would become a split province of Jenrakian leige. The final piece, the last consortium of the twisted puzzle, arose unto the podium, as the Shining Robed, White haired Arcarum moved his eyes in thought and wonder, his men following his movements.
"I do not feel like justifying this with a heartwarming speech." He chuckled into the microphone, as his men chuckled with him. "Too much, and yet too little of this, for war is now in our blood. Almost all of you," he scanned his finger across the moving army, as they watched him, "had fought an enemy from foreign lands. Whether it be crushing naval territories or abolishing enemy artillery, you are all veterans of war. You have made Jenrak and it's father proud." There was a loud roar of approval, and a few gunshots of excitement.
"This time, the face of our foe is the Kaiser Martens, whom had been on our list for quite some time, but never hath we paid attention to their whim. Now, as time dictates, their doom is near, as we will defeat them! Go now, my brothers, up in arms! Destroy the enemy, and plunder their riches!"

The village there was very small, very quiet, noone within that green southern-Germany area was thinking that any problem may come their way, it had never happened before, and so needless to say there was no garrison present, merely a few policemen and a few veterans from other wars. It was just a sunny day like many other ones, childrens played and everyone minded their own business, the place was like going back to the 1900s excepting for the occational bit of technology here and there.
A small child of a little group pointed to them from afar and said, "Soldaten!", apparently they thought that they were one of their own, and some of the children began to run their way.
A mother overheard it and thought that it was weird, his son who was in the Reichswehr was ment to return the next month, not now, and she walked out of the house to go find them. She'd be rather surprised to find out that they were not what they thought they were...

Far away, outside of the Reich's territory.
Martens was in a little establishment that he had called "Münchener Biergarten", and he woke up, yawning...as usual, he took his time, and when he was half dressed he opened up his Laptop to receive the daily report from his colaborators.
"Mein Kaiser, it appears that the President of Jenrak has given a speech declaring war onto us. Accept the transfer, it is there."
And it was, and Martens sighed, moving some hair out of his face and sipping from a cup. He sighed once it finished. "Aa. I see. Hmm. Allright, I'll hop into my plane in a couple of hours and head back.....verdammt. Please do notify General Rheingau, we do not wish to be on a low guard, but lets not seem completely eager to fight." He sighed, his little holidays interrupted. Anyways...he just packed, then took some time to have lunch and say goodbyes there. He walked to his personal Hangar then, with Hans, his bodyguard, and hopped onto his Enhanced, black customized Silberpfeil plane, and the Bodyguard on a less souped-up variant of the same plane. Soon, they took off, and began to fly back to the Reich. It'd just be some hours. He thought that surely like last invasion they'd surrender within the first 2kms of land and then surrender, on 2004 at Normandy.

The Super Carriers were now in free flight mode, their Ramjet engines hummed gently in the upper atmosphere, occasionaly the craft was buffeted by turbulance, but in general the trip would have been quite pleasant for a normal soldier or someone who felt human emotions...
The Capitol Police sat on their benches, GPMG's between their legs, looking at each other, their red glowing eyes were unfeeling, unforgiving, they gave no indication to life behind the glow of those lenses, each one was sat exactly like the next, the head was up and back, and the posture of these soldiers was perfect, you could have measured each one for degrees of accuracy and each one would have been almost perfect...
The Capitol Police pilots were the same, they sat out of the Giant cockpit of this behemoth of a transport craft, the crew of 12, sat in their own seats, each one monitoring some component of the craft, stress monitors, coupling link monitors, engine output readings, radar, everything...
The two pilots adjusted the crafts height every so often, the two pilots were watching ahead as though looking for something, or waiting for something but not caring what or who it was....
another bit of turbulance rocked the craft, it shuddered, metal components creaked slightly, but the craft continued, its massive Ramjet engines were powering it along nicely....
Soon it would be over Martens land, and the Craft would deploy its Assault vtols and begin the attack...

"Herr General, unidentified object is approaching our waters."
"Onto the main screen, please."
Then the Kraven Corporation vehicle appeared, and General Sassmanshausen raised an eyebrow. "Well well, that is definately not from around here. It is from Jenrak isn't it?"
"It isn't any Jenrakian ship that we have seen before, it must be either new or somebody else's."
"Allright. Notify the closest Carrier to standby and send some Valkyries, as standard procedure, so that they will identify themselves."
"Jawohl" Then the operator typed rather quickly onto a keyboard, the message being carried all along the Reich until it reached out for the sea, towards the carrier "Zürich" which was within the area. The message was after all within seconds delivered and soon 4 Valkyrie Type Battle Jets took off and headed to intercept the incoming object. They did not yet arm their weapons, because they didn't want to provoke, yet, they were ready. While all this happened, in the control room of the Carrier, a communication was sent towards the Corporation's vehicle.
"Achtung! This is Carrier Zürich to Unidentified Flying Object. You have no premission to travel through Silberunion Airspace, please identify yourself, and A - Turn around and depart or B - Allow our 4 Valkyrie jets to escort you to our location, so that your entrance to our Region will be legalised and your ship inspected. Any failure to do as we say will result in the destruction of your vehicle or vehicles. Heil Martens."
And then the message would repeat, in different languages, several times, as the jets went closer and closer, and as Martens was almost now back in the Reich...

The Vtol didn't respond with a vocal transmission, Instead it activated its side sponson defensive cannons, They locked onto the offending aircraft and opened fire, heavy machine guns launching bullets in the direction of the craft, the twin machine guns muzzle flare lighting up the side of the craft in the cool night of the air...
The Craft activated ECMS and prepared to take evasive actions, If the Vtol was attacked it would immeadiatly drop the Assault craft which would drop towards the earth with a velocity that the pursuing craft would not be able to match...

The pilots blinked twice as they saw the cannons showing up, and soon beginning to fire, with the press of a button turning on their own offensive systems. "ACHTUNG, ACHTUNG! Squadron, Attack! Carrier, we're under fire, Alert, deploy more ships! Ships Number 2 and 4, focus your fire onto the structures that appear to be carried by the main vehicle!"
As he said that they had all locked them on with their missiles, the squadron leader didn't have time to fire though as he had to evade the incoming fire, two moved slightly to the sides and then aimed a small barrage of missiles as it had been ordered (Ships 2 and 4) even though that they would be exposed to fire, but certainly the missiles would do their work, so they expected at least. The remaining ship received a few bullet hits, deestabilizing slightly but managing to send a barrage of their own bullets and one missile towards the general direction of where fire was coming from, before joining the Squadron Leader in the evasive maneuvers.
At the Carrier. "What the heck, someone actually dares attack us? Prepare two more squadrons and alert the fleet, we don't know the scale of the enemy operation, send those men backup and get ready for any eventualities, now please."
Within moments the whole Reichswehr would be informed of what was going on, the army would soon be on alert, and all the submarines and ships were the first ones to know. Just in case this may be high scale, no place should be left unguarded.
"Carrier, this is Recon Flight 23-B, two Silberpfeils ready to assist, we're moving dead ahead towards the vehicle and ready to intercept in short time."
"Affirmativ, move forth, für Deutschland."
The Kaiser by then was walking to his personal control center, as he was informed while on the move about the situation. "Calm down Herr Strösser, it's just one goddamn transport vehicle, jeez, you're acting like we were in goddamn Normandy. Now now, I'll get to my control room and handle it, ja?"
He stretched, and yawned, the doors opening for him as he then went to sit down onto the main chair, which was sort of like a throne from where he could control the whole forces of the Reich. "Let's see."

OOC: The Super carrier, is designed to carry assault craft over hostile territory, so is heavily armoured, lightly armed but relies on its ECMS, which Means Electronic counter measures, basicly allowing it to avoid relativly all missile attacks, but its armoured enough to withstand the attacks that make it through, dont worry it can be taken down, but in the event that it is criticly hit, it will deploy the Assault craft. its slow, and very heavy probably dwarfing the craft that you've sent up.

The carrier banked hard as the craft launched their missiles, the twin assault cannons continued to track their targets, opening up with a second salvo...
a missile streaked towards the craft, as the ECMS were deployed, chaff errupted out of a port in the craft, the missile roared towards it exploding in a shower of sparks and flames....
Another missile impacted into the dorsal spine, the craft shuddered and groaned as the missile damaged the structure...
Warning lights flashed across the control pannels, as the Capitol Police Pilots cooly activated the drop sequence...
The Couplings began to disengage one by one, until the assault craft suddenly plumeted towards the earth, a barrage of missiles streaked towards the craft as they dropped, one was hit a few feet from the craft, exploding in a ball of fire, twisted metal and flames gouted from the craft...
The 3 remaining craft dropped through the sky, accelerating too quickly for persuing craft to follow...
at 500 feet, the engines activated, pulling the craft out of the dive suddenly, the quad double turbo ramjet engines roared with power as the crafts were sent towards the drop zone...
The Super Carrier broke up, snapping at the spine, both parts plumeting towards the ground... instantly Martens fighters broke off and banked round, only to see a dark blight on the horizon... multiple super carriers...
In the Kaisers control room, radar operators were alerted by multiple singals appearing all accross the board.... this appeared to be a full scale invasion...

The one who scored the final hit grinned. "Woohoo, one down!"
The ship number two interrupted. "I'll head back to the carrier, this beauty has been scratched."
The leader now, "Allright, you go, we'll chase those vehicles..."
Then, as the damaged ship turned around to depart, the others saw this huge thing onto the radar, and felt cold sweat down their backs. "What the heck. Let's get out of here, we can't do anything against them all. Head back to the Carrier for defense!"
Incoming transmission - "Achtung Flight Leader, enemy is incoming, we're sending backup, meet at our position but do not land, we'll need anything available."
"Yessir! Ya heard him!" Then the three ships returned to formation and went towards where it was directed, closer to the carrier.
The intercepting recon ship had received no special orders, and as soon as he saw the two dropping structures, he boosted his engines and headed down and towards them, hoping to pick them out of the sky.
The Kaiser leaned forwards, switching to a sattelite view of the incoming enemies, and raising an eyebrow. "Hmm. Well, that cannot be good. Continue to alert everyone. Let all our bases know, standard procedure. Tell the ships and craft which are on the zone to retreat closer to the coast. Get me a communication with Verghast, and summon our eastern Luftwaffe. Regroup at the Frankland, we must overwhelm them. Alert all Panzerdivisions, and send some more towards the projected area of their landing. Prepare my SS Leibstandarte and my Panzer. Hmm."
"Jawohl Mein Kaiser."
"ACHTUNG ACHTUNG, Code Red, enemy airfleet incoming, it seems to be an all out attack! Missiles armed! Deploy all Fighters!"
Soon the many different ships in the proximity in the sea had armed their weaponry, and all the carriers in a broader area had deployed their craft, as they waited for the Mainland Reinforcements.
A few carriers and other ships were directly on the way of the invasion, and would not escape it's path, so they braced for impact.
"Prepare the Wasserfall Rockets, ready the FLAK, enemy inbound! Alert, Alert!"
"Deploy Squadrons 1,3,4,5 and 8! Schnell!" This scene would repeat in many parts of the Empire as quickly Kaiser gathered his Forces, all systems now on full alert, every movement of the enemy watched by the sattelites, and huge mechanized panzerdivisions getting ready for the struggle.
A small base detected the firstly sent landing aircraft, and FLAK opened fire against them as the time as a Frega Missile Launcher (Sort of like Rapier AA) was calculating to begin its firing. Meanwhile, the media all over the continent stopped as this attack was announced, advising those who resided at the Frankland to take cover, then again noone seemed to scared about it, it was not the first time someone had tried something like this. "Yeah, let them come if they want....." was the most common comment.

The Assault craft continued to scream towards their target zones, dropping lower and lower to avoid radar systems and AA missiles... even so, one craft was chasing the Vtols, a foolish endeavour, it would take him a few moments to get in range of the craft after the velocity at which they decended...
Even so, the craft prepared to counter attack the incomming enemy fighter...
its twin underslung assault cannons armed, and were ready to attack if needed, but the enemy fighter, currently with the height advantage was out of the assault cannons arc of fire..
Suddenly, as before the control pannels of the Assault Craft lit up, warning the pilots of incomming missiles...
AA systems...
the Capitol Police pilots flicked several switches and activated their Thermal masking, near enough cloaking them from Heat seeking missiles, one missile streaked into the side of a Vtol, an explosion shook the craft and forced it to veer slightly...
Lights appeared across the console, indicating loss of oil pressure, quickly the automated systems compenstated and the lights died down...
Another missile streaked towards the formation, chaff was deployed in a bloom of sparks, the missile swung round and collided with the chaff, exploding in a ball of fire...
The Vtols were now approaching the drop zone, A Civilian Town... its name was unknown to the Corporation, but rather designated, Human Resource Pool 853... this was the first target of conquest... The Town would be secured, made defendable then the attack would continue from there, however this would happen all over The Kaisers lands, Multiple towns and cities would fall to the might of the Sinister Capitol Police, not caring whether they killed Soldier or Civilian....
Thud... Thud...
Came the roar of Anti Air Cannons, Plumes of black soot errupted in the air, above and around the vtols, each craft shuddered as the flak guns went to work...
A pannel was blown off by a flak shell, followed by a trail of black smoke, comming from within...
The craft began to glide gently to one side, the Capitol Police pilots struggled to control the craft, but remained calm and cool as though there was nothing wrong...
there was a crash, the sound of tearing metal, the very ground thundered as the Vtol impacted into the ground, kicking up dust and debry, soon skidding to a halt, the quad ramjet engines whining down to a stop..
There was dull thud, the blast doors were blown open by explosive bolts, and the Capitol Police troopers stormed forth, their weapons ready and their optical mags scanning the area for possible targets...
The other Vtols touched down in the Intended target, Human Resource Pool 853....
The Doors slid open, not needing the explosive bolts, and Immeadiatly the Capitol Police troopers advanced from the Troop bay, The Turret, a 110mm Smooth bore cannon, rotated tracking for targets, as the Capitol Police began to secure the area....
As for the Armarda of air ships, they were under fire from the fleet below, several were criticaly hit, deploying the 4 Assault craft and letting them loose, watching them plummet to the ground, before activating their engines and speeding off towards the target zones... other Super Carriers were obliterated by missile strikes, some were injured but managed to limp on towards the drop zone... some were deploying ECMS, avoiding the missile strikes...
Vtol Fighters, Supporting the formation, dropped out of the sky like angry hornets, tearing towards the fleet below, deploying their Missile racks, and targeting the vessels... Streaks of missiles flew towards the Command Bridges of the vessels, the Capitol Police pilots targeting the bridges with sensor arrays and their Enhanced optical mags...

Masses of computer equipment adorned the central command station of the Republik. Junior officers relayed orders and communications from Verghastan military units the world over through high-orbit satellites.
"Herr Oberst!" called one young officer, "Herr Oberst, urgent transmission recieved via the Odinsauge network! Significant hostile forces are attacking the Fatherland, and we are requested to provide air support for it's defence!"
Oberst Dieter Stahlmann, a twenty-year veteran of the Republik's wars, reacted instantly with near-instinctual speed. "Forward that communication to the Führer, priority one! Request all available interceptors to assist against the attack."
"Transmitting, sir." said the officer.
"Good. Now carry out the order."
"Sir?"
"Get those damn planes off the ground, now! I'm not waiting for authorisation!"
OOC: Quick response post, soz for crappy dialogue. I'll do the mobilisation thing tomorrow, but right now I'm sending about seven hundred 'Silberpfeil' Eurofighter-ripoffs with air-to-air/air-to-ground missile mixes.
The Barkozian militia to be involved with this raid was the Popular National Army, the weakest of the 'big five'. The PNA, like the other militias basically exists as a large agricultural company. Militiamen farm four months out of the year and serve the other eight. In return for their service they get a small plot of land and the ability to sell their product. Most sell to the militia leadership due to the fair prices and ease of transportation. The problem for all of these militias was twofold. First, they were all weak during the summer, the months that were most conducive to farming and also campaigning. Second, to get more men, they had to buy or take more arable land to offer this deal. Some solutions including collectivisation have taken hold but most consider this 'nonsense'.
The PNA's chain of command began at its main headquarters in Arkara(Debrecen). From there command came down to the combat commands, A-N. These combat commands were semi-permanent HQs situated on the border with KM and the other militias. It was at this level that the PNA was most cohesive. At this level each HQ could communicate with each other securely and near instantaneously. The only problem with this is that there were countless units below these combat commands that did not share this cohesiveness. It was at these low levels, from battalion on down that were completely insufficient in command and control.
The prevailing doctrine with the PNA(and most of the other power groups with militaries) was one of force dispersal to combat superior firepower. It was argued that concentration would cause unnecessary casualties due to artillery and airstrikes and that guerilla warfare was easier that way. Perhaps in a strictly combat sense this would work, but from the realities of command and control, this created a mess of units doing their own things and cohesion was nil. In war games individual platoons often got separated and they found that it took almost a week to find the exact position of all HQs down to the company level. One officer remarked, "We might have done better standing in battle lines like the old days. At least we would get lost as a unit.". This, combined with the human factors of poor command and leadership would end up with a feeble mob of men with guns.
The strength of the PNA was in its veterans and mercenaries. Veterans took the winters off and mercenaries were all-year fighters. Not only that but they were better equipped, better led, and better trained than the other parts of the army. This is not to say that they were particularly superior to other armed forces, but that they were a formidable force that formed a core of the army. These units were prized because they were reliable and they instilled reliability in units they were in contact with. There were not many companies of mercenaries or veterans alone, but they were placed in platoons with poor militiamen to help morale. Mercenaries were prized officers and acted as advisors to train men.
AFVs for the PNA and militias in general were not uncommon, but they did not see a lot of action because they could not go far from their parent HQs and supply dumps. The logistical elements for tanks were far more valuable than the tanks themselves, because in order to traverse the distances that they would be needed they needed to be transported(one of the main things about tanks is that they aren't mechanically reliable in general and should be transported whenever possible to avoid operational losses). The primary AFV of the PNA was the 'dragoon', a thinly armored truck with a heavy machine gun facing forward atop the cab. Used to carry supplies as well as troops, these armored trucks were very valuable and were not thrown away in combat operations often. Faster recon vehicles, while available, were mostly used to assist in command and control to establish contact with units out of communication with their HQs. If they weren't looking for stragglers, they were ferrying wounded and supplies around.
In invading KM, the PNA had a monumental task. KM had an army much larger, more cohesive, better trained, and much better equipped. KM had airpower where the PNA had none, KM had far superior armored units than the PNA(militias mostly used M48s and M60s as their primary tank). The attack was made in the traditional dispersal with armored units supporting units attacking along major roads. Artillery and air assets stayed in the Barkozian side of the border and did not heavily support these attacks. There were five combat commands involved, A-E, A being the westernmost, while E being the easternmost. Note that the attack north was not all along the border. On either side were militias neutral to KM.
There was some initial success at the border. The dispersal did rule out the opportunity of breakthrough but was making a steady advance against little resistance. The attack did not have problems until they entered KM in detail, when the company HQs came up and their initial assets went out of play. After the first border towns, units began moving off their timetables and objectives, attacking towns in the wrong direction and finding themselves in contact with units they never expect. Worse, the front line is not well kept, as much due to lack of men as doctrine. PNA armored assets were mishandled, and KM men found time to blow bridges and even when they were pushed off, engineers were unavailable or slow to come and the bridges were destroyed anyway. The PNA still had a chance though, if only KM were as paralyzed by surprise as they(the PNA) were by poor command and control.

"What, those Barkozians are attacking as well? How dare those inferior warmongers try anything against us. They can't even sort out their own inner conflicts and want to pick a fight with us? See that General Glasser deals with that. We're not to waste too many tanks there, their armors are outdated, let it be an infantry thing, and send our most outdated armor gear. I will myself handle the western situation." This all happened in the central control room of his Bunker, where everyone was busy with many computers, big screens, and officers going here from there to help, and of course, two big Kaiser Martens War Flags at the sides of Martens himself.
"Mein Kaiser, reinforcements have arrived from Verghast, our own aircraft are ready to move forth, we're awaiting confirmation."
"Go ahead."
"Jawohl. The enemy has landed at some 100 kilometres from Paris, the Parisienne Panzerdivision "Frankland" is intercepting, several more are on their way, your Leibstandarte are ready to deploy where and when you want."
"Go ahead, yes, we must try to contain them so they will not scatter or advance. Try to surround the place to hold them there until another division arrives, and have all other divisions be ready for any trouble if they landed in another city elsewhere."
"Right away."
Then upon receiving the green light, all the Silberpfeils, which were some more than what Verghast had sent, in perfect formation, headed at full speed towards the vtols, beginning their deadly all-out assault with their firearms. When missiles were used, their thermal detection was switched off and some were hooked to the Odinsauge sattelite network. This ment that the newest missiles could track the enemy anyways, while the oldest ones were just "shot" anyways to hit something in the chaos. Far behind, bombers escorted by heavy, defensive helicopters approached, soon to try to pick off ground targets, staying away from the fight for now.
Below, the local policemen and guards did what they could to fend off the invaders, managing to regroup and to hold on a bit before they'd be eliminated, only a very limited amount of also local tanks and antitanks moving out to try to destroy the enemy troops. Some of the men actually used random cars as barricades or to bash into the enemy, but the manpower was lacking, and this resistance would not last very long at all. Everyone by law though, had a firearm, so many civilians did dare fight, many sniping from their windows, not wanting to be exposed, of course, they didn't have a sniper's aim, but it was much better than if anyone tried to invade, let's say, helpless Poland...
And 50 KMs away was the Panzerdivision approaching to where the craft were landing, in a clean formation not to leave any flank uncovered: Artillery and AA in the centre, Tanks in the outer areas, antitanks in the central part and Infantry in within.
The tanks were Panther IIIC, which were an upgraded version of the Panther III which used to be the main battle tank at Kaiser Martens (Btw, they're not the Panthers from WW2, just the names were copied, like many names). These tanks featured a very good resistance without sacrificing firepower or speed, their cannon was rather big, yet not oversized as it was seen in other tanks such as the heavy Walkyrie class, it was also very fast, because the Kaiser hated slow vehicles unless that it was justified, and so it was the only multirole tank, it could work both as a heavy tank, as a tank destroyer, as a main battle tank, or as support, it was extremely versatile, and well protected, its disadvantage was that it did not have an Odinsauge Sattelite Uplink like the newer tanks and that it did not support Nitro. But, it was a favorite. The other tanks in this division were a number of Valiant Tanks which were upgraded Leopard II tanks, imported by Geisenfried, which were slower but had more firepower, and could go through water much more easily.
The antitanks were support Hess Types, armored and self proppeled, they had plenty of space so they also carried some infantry, and had a pair of machineguns mounted onto their sides in case that they had to fight infantry, which was not the idea. The antitanks had great guns and speed, and were very very cheap to build...yet, they were not many, they were just for support.
The infantry was regular, and was pretty much like Verghastinsel's, nothing much to add really.
The artillery were SIG V10, self propelled and very armored, also very fast, one of the best artilleries to be found in the Reich, they had uplinks to sattelites for proper aiming. The AAs were some scattered FLAKpanzers from older outdated chasis, but since the FLAK was high calibre they could be used against infantry or tanks as a last resource, yet for now they focused on protecting the artillery.
So, as you can see, the Armies of the Reich focus essentially on Armor, and use relatively little infantry. Soon, this group would reach the place where the fighting is taking place, to try to wipe the invasion out, and later, other divisions would jump in the fight.
Now over to Barkozy.
Martens had sent the less armored part of the Reichswehr over there, with some air force support from older models, mostly bombers since the enemy didn't have any fighters to defend with, but some were there just in case, since one could never know...
Just a year and a half ago, Martens had taken Italy. The inferior tanks which remained would be used in this operation, they had two adaptations. Some transformed into a DBW Stug7, by receiving a new turret and a great main gun, then again, this didn't make it fast, by Kaiser's standards, but they were good, considering that previously they were useless, and most kept their main gun but were upgraded with two machineguns more, so that they would be used against infantry, or against older tanks, like those Barkozy had.
Whichever the case was, General Glasser had a lot of infantry available, they had to outnumber the enemy so to nullify the power of their anarchical tactics. He split his troops in many smaller independent groups, but designed to be somewhat bigger than those the enemy had, even if not as many groups. Each of the mentioned groups consisted of mostly well trained infantry, mixed with some newer ones, but there was much more cohesion than in Barkozy, and every group was supported by a number of tanks of each kind and several Recon Light Tanks, such as Luchs, all groups were interconnected in a communications network and a larger group was with General Glasser, with Valkyrie and Leopard II panzers. The Valkyrie IIs were heavy tanks, they were not fast at all, but their double cannons and their armor were both as effective as demoralizing against enemies. Then again, they were out of production, replaced by Kaiser and Leopard III tanks, which were not present so far in each of the battles. The Artillery used was common (but good), instead of mobilized, and there were a few medium FLAKs here and there.
The groups began to operate, instantly tending again bridges through where they had destroyed them earlier and using satellital technology started to head for the enemy, to the groups that either seemed closer or seemed more dangerous. Many soldiers of the Reichswehr were sent to the closest untaken towns, for defensive purposes, with some Nebelwerfer artillery, which were lethal against soft targets. The people of these towns were alerted and they fetched their weapons in the eventuality of a Barkozian attack.
It was on.
A dot of ships and a slew of metal drifted across the horizon of the golden sea, small ball-like globules of metal glistening on the latches as the battleships twisted and tested their turrets. Massive armoured boats, linked together in parts, rallied in the front, forming a metal wall that blocked out the supply ships from view. Transports, as far as the eye can see, edged closer and closer towards the enemy, the navy prepared to go to war.
It would be only yet a few more hours, before the Jenrakian navy would finally reach the borders of the Kaiser.

The Capitol Police advanced upon the town, their heavy jack boots impacting into the soil, local police and militia men fired at the advancing troops using small arms and other assorted weapons, the Capitol Police returned fire, using their GPMG's to lace the walls with lead, bullets ricohed left and right, and occasionaly the explosion of 110mm cannons from the supporting VTOLs could be heard, collapsing some buildings or taking out parked cars...
A capitol Police trooper was raked by a salvo of bullets, his armour glinted as sparks from the bullets scattered off, leaving nothing more than scratched armour and a standing Trooper, who brought his weapon to bear and returned fire..
the fighting intensified when the Local guards opened up with what AT weaponry they had, choosing their targets carefully they opened fire, taking a trooper off his feet and killing him out right, the force of the explosion cracking his chest...
other rockets screamed into the advancing formations taking out more troopers, it looked like the advance might waver, until there was a defending thunderous roar of an explosion, as several buildings were completly leveled in one blast, the XSA II siege tank, the multi vector unit was a seige tank, designed to level a bunker with a single shell from its 280mm ETC cannon... this machine of war was slow, cumbersome and often open to attack, but would easily tip the balance of a battle in the favour of the Corporation...
The Capitol Police forces advanced one again, making a fresh push, advancing with suicidal disregard for their own lives, just inhumanly following orders of the Command Relay, these Soldiers were conditioned, physicaly and mentaly, devoiding them of all emotions and increasing their strength, stamina and endurance as well as pain suppression using a series of pschological drugs and biological enhancing drugs, these were by no means the perfect soldier, they were just meat shields, designed to be thrown at the enemy, using their relentless attack, their apperance and their weapons as a means to break the enemies moral before finaly crushing them under a jack booted heel...
A group of capitol police had advanced into the Outer Town suburbs, engaging the Defenders of this location, Assault cannon weilding support troopers lay down a barrage of fire from these weapons of terror...
while another squad of troopers forced their way into a house, using flame throwers to forcefully remove the occupants if any....
Several of the Civilians, still hiding in houses were dragged out into the streets.... they were forced to line up with their hands on their heads and await processing... so far the advance had gone well... but it wouldn't be long before the Kaiser had sent reinforcments to attempt to curb the assault....
But with the XSA II nearby, it would be able to lay down a barrage at the incomming units long before their weapons were in range to return fire, the ETC cannon had a range of well over 60kms and using its Thermal, night vision and other spectrum optical targeting battlesystems, would be easily able to locate the advancing coloum, however.... The XSA II was not designed to fight moving targets, and would only be able to get maybe 3 or 4 shells fired off at the advancing coloum before the turret could no longer track advancing coloum...
the Corporation was fighting a blitzkreig...
From the flagship of the Naval Ship Zealotry
Repeating, over and over again, aboard the ringed and metal catwalk, stood Gold Patriarch Thrask, his eyes scanning the glass of the command tower for any odd movements. In a swift flick of his fingers, he ordered the supply ships to move at the back of the fleet, as he clicked on the communications and spoke to his replying captains and Generals.
"Deploy the leapers, and prepare the Muramahks." He commanded, without a single reply.
From the edge of the waters in the Kaiser's control, the small floating globules of metal fell from their locked place on the battleships, and, guided by the people inside the Zealotry. Their small, tiny forms wound up into large, sputtering cameras, glancing overwhere, as they sped in drones, like a massive beehive, skimming the surface of the waters for any foe for them to seek. Like a massive batch of locusts, but only they were slightly submerged in the waters, a shiny, metal delicate layer looking for a prey to feast upon. Drills at the back of the camera'like drone's body, it spun violently, and still kept on searching.
While the drones continued their search for prey and metal food, guided by the men inside it's halls, the Muramahks bean their bombing run preparations. Suiting up for gear, they entered into massively long and large aircraft, delicate but swift, carrying massive payloads as they felt the first dawn of the light break upon it's sheet surface.
While in the command bridge, Thrask did only one thing;
All aiding forces in this scale invasion, please do not fire upon the drones. While they are human controlled, it may be unwise as my men may see any attacks upon their drones as a relatively offensive attack, and may retaliate.

OOC - Sorry for the delay, my ISP got all disfunctional for a few days and when I had it back I had to wait one day more, because I didn't have time to even turn the computer on. Anyways, here I go.

Well, that was pretty much about it for the civilian resistance. Many were still resilient and fought to death, and a number of them tried and shot at whichever gaps in the armor they would find. It was chaotic, when the flames and the XSA tank began, those who were not helping the fight just ran for their lives, and everything became impossible to control, the few security forces which remained continued to fight like there was no tomorrow, and in the end, for them, there was indeed no more days to live, as the bullets kept impacting. The minimal garrison of panzers in the city showed up, trying a suicidal run towards the XSA, these were some (only slightly) outdated Panthers and one Leopard II, 5 tanks in total, they just attempted to ram through whichever infantry while shooting their machineguns and attempted to fire their main cannons at the tank which had demolished the city, they remained in a close formation and attacked it from a flank, and as this happened, they screamed. "FÜR DEUTSCHLAND!" and this encouraged the last troops which were remaining to fight a bit longer, perhaps like 2 minutes only though, since they were already on a 10-1 proportion after some time.
The General of the Parisienne Panzerdivision was informed of this new cannon, and had to make a decision. He could continue with the unflankable formation and risk getting a few shots, or he could send his faster units forwards to try to destroy it and gain the upper hand. Also he was informed of several more Frankland units approaching through the north and more strongly from the south, wanting to encapsule the enemy, but the General was the key to halt them enough to make this work.
In the end, he decided to split up his Panzerdivision in two groups, one just like the other one, so that if the XSA fired it'd have to pick and then the casualties would be less. This was carried out very quickly because of training and computer systems, while they were still out of their reach, and then continued forth pushing the pedal to the metal. They did loose some minutes while at this, but if that "bastard" opened fire it'd be worth it.
By now, an enormous amount of airships were going over towards Jenrak to try to stop them, and they did pass through this battlefield, a few bombers making a few runs to just throw some bombs in before heading back to their bases, staying away from the fighters and not risking. But the fighters of the Reich continued onwards, just wanting to destroy anything that was on the air and not on their side, it was probably the largest fighter plane deployment since WWII, and it'd be the real first true and massive use of the new Silberpfeils.
The Kriegsmarine was assembled by now, in two fleets, the southern, weakest Italo-German fleet and the Main Fleet on the north close to the Ardennes and Verghast, with just every ship that one could muster in there, including the gigantic Flagship "Polarstern" which made everything else look like fleas. They all began to advance in cohesion towards the Jenrakian Forces, but would not arrive just yet, and they called for Verghastani Naval Support too.
Soon, the Kravenian troops saw the incoming Panzerdivision, they hadn't shot towards them with the artillery yet, to wait to get as close as possible before shooting and then giving away their position. Once that it happened, the self propelled armored beautiful SIG V10 artillery, started to shoot shells on unison towards the general area of the XSA, guided by the satellites, and the other weaponry wasn't yet within range. The tanks thought they'd make short work of the infantry.
"Are all the drones finished?" Thrask had asked his men, as they still clicked away on their work, watching the screen flare and flicker. With a swift nod, and a small murmur, he was give nto knowledge that they would proceed with things as planned.
"I want all ballistics aimed at the beaches once we come into range, deploy all raptor fighters at the single sight of an enemy aircraft, and sweep the chaos with the whole flank of transport hovercrafts. Can you do that?" He asked them, waiting for a response.
"What about enemy artillery? What if they shold fire from the shoreline? And terrain?" The captain asked, but Thrask merely shook his head.
"Artillery will be taken care of by my own forces, and terrain will not logner be a problem once we hewn enough firepower into the beaches. Just keep firing until the pathway is clear." He said, sitting down. "I'll deploy myself into the battle in a few hours."
As the fleet pressed on, the armoured ships locked together, forming a surfaced water wall, short and small, but hardy and strong nonetheless, from the back of it's helm, the cannons at it's curvature, lay insde the sleek and silver round of the initial art of war. The declaration missile, a most dazzling and burning weapon, that could pierce the naked eyes of anyone who looked at it, so bright and glorious it's whithered flame. From the command bridge of the enormous flagship Zealotry, the flaming missile shot, and in it's brilliance, lit up the battlefield for horrors to come.

At the Odinsauge Control Center, "ACHTUNG! Missile has been fired, Intercept? J/N" - "Ja" Then ordered the General in control of the place.
The Jenrakian rocket was being watched by the network of sattelites above the Reich, then when the order was given, the supercomputers did their job to then shoot an interceptor missile, which would within only seconds be fired from somewhere within the Reich not far, to collide before it'd cause any damage. This was the Odinsauge system, and then it worked flawlessly, but do not be fooled, it has many limitations, which only Martens and the General know. (I'm trying to say, I'm not modding, it's not a block-it-all system)
The Drones were also detected, but Martens himself nor his advisors knew exactly what to do about them, nor knew what they could cause, besides, the Odinsauge system couldn't track all of them, not at all, but it did provide a general idea as to where most were. Something had to give, he couldn't just send his fleet blindly onto those machines, so a few of the submarines which were within the enemy's area, sprang up to the surface, some of those when emerging ending up just in the middle of where the drones were. As soon as this happened, very quickly, the submarines already had sent a barrage of torpedoes towards the fleet. There were that many, that it'd surely hit something. Hopefully, they'd get a taste of that those "drones, droids, or whatever" as the Kaiser called them, would be able to do, so to think of a plan as the rest of the fleet was approaching, unarmed ships were in the outmost area just to be cannon fodder at first, but not that many, it'd be too much of a waste.
Bad news arrived. "VAS? Verghastinsel is DARING pull out of this war?! Freaking Traitors wouldn't even be an independent nation if it wasn't because of my doing, now they betray when times are hard for me, verräder. They'll see. I'll halt this invasion first, then they'll regret it. Hm. They were like brothers to me...get me Elvi, if I don't get some support...Hm."
"Jawohl, Mein Kaiser."
(I was going to mobilize my fighters which are on air towards Jenrak's forces, but I'lll wait for Kraven's post for that.)

OOC:Time for me to jump in. Ill be using my 'The Latest Earth' possessions(most notably Libya) as well as where I have plotted my nation in RL(that is, its somewhere in the Pacific) if thats all right with you.
IC:The Red Tideans had gotten the messagem, they just had to take time in mobilizing the troops, Libya had already had all the troops needed after the initial plans for the invasion had been drawn up. A entire Corps of soldiers, several SU-47 Airwings(and a single H/K-2 Airwing), and a Carrer Battlegroup(and its aircraft) had been deployed to Red Tidean Libya under the guise of 'Massive Wargames'. But that was a lie. In reality they were preparing to cross the Mediteranean and land in Sicily.
150 H/K-1 VTOL Ground Attack Aircraft took off first. Carrying 6 High-speed Anti Radiation Missile(HARM) Pods, each with two missiles. Their mission was to destroy the enemies radar network in southern Italy and Sicily. They would close to within 80 miles of their targets, then lock on to the very radiation emitted from the RADAR Stations and fire a missile before attempting to lock onto another target. Escorting them were 20 H/K-2 VTOL Carrier Fighter and up to 180 SU-47s. The Carrier Battlegroup and the transports it were escorting moved out and began to steam towards Sicily.

He said, through a flat screen, then two rather massive, yet quick doors with the seal of the Kaiser opened up, letting her in the busy control room, the core of the Reich, and he was by his Standard at the very centre, the place was well lit and it was purely artificial, digital, technological. The main screen was currently detailing the going-ons in all three battles, and beyond, many more forces being mobilized and readied. Notoriously, all and every city all across the Reich now was being flooded by Panzerfausts, and then ammunition for the guns they already because of law did own. The Volksturm was a reality again, yet this time the core of the Reichswehr woudln't leave the people there to fend off for their own, this was just getting started. Martens turned around in his throne like comfy chair and smiled a bit grimly, standing up to greet her.
"Hello there, dear." His head bowed lightly. Martens hadn't been kidding when he said that the Valkyries were on his side.

It was merely a flaming blaze, a glistening fire of destruction, the torpedoes from the Kaiser forces smashing into the thick waves of drones, completely unaware, the ships rocking in their wake. “What was that?” Thrask only asked his captains, who watched and shook their heads in a distinct attitude, as if it was not meant to be, and that it had ruined everything. “What is going on?” He asked once more, his voice firm and strong, an aura of power emanating from his soul and pride.
“One of the main bodies of the drillers have been destroyed, and the chain reaction is devastating, General.” The captain said, his focus completely on the dazzling red blinking monitor on the perch of his eyes. With a click set of clicks more into the computer, and another, green laced but much more clearer radar flickered up immediately, showing a large black hole in the crimson wave. His fingers circling the ends, the General Thrask only gave out a short sigh of contempt. “The black blotch is the destroyed area of the drones, and the shrapnel from the destruction are extremely dangerous to cross. We can’t pull in the transports if they’re being prowled by enemy submarines. What do you suggest?” The captain asked, worried, sweat pouring down the frolics of his face.
“Keep the advance going, send out the second divisions, and deploy the drills. Launch commencement code six, eight, nine.” Thrask replied, as the captains immediately followed his orders, their fingers ramming hard unto the keyboards, the screens flickering crazily. From the metal hull, the bottom of the large and looming Zealotry, the cannons still steaming of the smoke from the bombardment, the gauss-like rifles a bliss with smoke and ash, a small compartment in the ship opened up, and tiny, similar metal globules fell into the water, spinning around violently. The children within the Zealotry’s heart controlled them from the safe hearth of the warm steel belly of the massive battleship. With remotes, sleek and silver, they had, looking at a television screen, moving carefully as if it were some manic, sadistic game they played, they whizzed around from the views in their cameras, and the driller drones, dropped into the waters, did what the controllers told them to do. But there was on difference.
This time, it was not reconnaissance, not a locust wave of water scouts, but a destructive path of tiny drilling machines, as they would latch onto the hulls of ships, drill out holes until they sunk, and move on. Small, without armour, swift and cheap, they formed the core of Jenrakian pre-emptive strikes in it’s waters. Now, they were going on the offensive, and the drillers will be playing the game of the hunt. Lines are unprotected, so it’s simply easy to find them on the radar, yet they traveled either alone or in overwhelming packs, it was inevitable that they would clear a path for the soldiers to reach the bombed beaches, the missiles let loose and the cannons still flying unto the soon rocky outcrops. Blazing fireworks of death smashed into the water, causing tiny whitecaps as the rocking ships still floating with a simple bliss.
“Deploy the raptors, the lurkers, and the mirrors.” Thrask ordered, the captains replying to his every move. “Place the lurkers in the east and west flanks, and deploy the mirror ships to combat the submarines. I want all raptors in the air once the alarm rings, and prepare to take down enemy bombers immediately.” He pressed on, the people nodding to his every request.
From the metal hull once more, the capital ships dispersed small numbers of relatively tiny and agile submarines, each carrying only about one person, each armed with a lethal drill bit that could cut through stone. It was the General’s plan to use these to have the people inside these miniature submarines to drill enemy submarines, enter and destroy the enemy’s sub through explosive, and then leave to find another prey. They’re small size allows them to evade quickly, and they’re numbers allow a greater chance for survival. Every life counted, but only enough to fight.
While that happened, the mirror ships, the cannons still high, bobbed bombs far off, like mortars they seemed to be. What was surprising was the amount of ammo they intended to have, for if their sleek frame and quick speed were not enough; they would fight the land.

"Ah, there you are, hello Elvi." Martens smiled brightly to her. "No need to pull more strings, I can fend em off now that I've got this good support...hey, meh cup." - Insert little whine here.
Then he saw some activity onto the main screen and the focus shifted onto one of the two secondary but big screens to show the submarines and their doings.
"Wow, look. It worked!" He grinned, happily.
"I thought that those little machineries would be our end. When I had sent those subs I just thought it'd be a suicidal thing to determine the drones' capacity for attack. Hmm. It is safe then. Herr König, line me to the Kriegsmarine main concentrations, and have all the subs continue their attack onto those drones, to buy us time." "Jawohl. You're connected in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, Los"
"This is a brief message of your Kaiser to let you all know of two main happenings. One, we've been offered the help of Tocrowkia, who will aid us in the fight against the treacherous, invading Jenrakian and Kravenian scum. And secondly, we have detected the weakness of one of the main weapons of the Jenrakian navy, the drones. The huge navy is approaching. This will be probably the largest naval battle since WW2, and it will be our second chance to use the Flagship Polarstern. I soon will be aiding the fight on land myself, and soon Germany shall be victorious. We are the Chosen ones of Odin, we are the Warriors of the North, We are Germans, and we'll never stop until our enemies are crushed! VORAN!"
The message ended, and soon everyone became fully active and brimming with emotions throughout the massive fleet. The March of Glory and several other National Lieder began to sound
"Hmm, wow. I don't know how, but I always pull out speeches out of thin air. Send the plans for the attack to the Admiral at the Polarstern. I'll be directing from here though, but just in case." "Done, Mein Kaiser."
"Now we just have to wait for their next move."
At the submarines. "Holy shit, I don't know what the heck that was but we're pwning it." "Kapitan, there are more of those drill things coming this way, do we fire?" "Affirmativ. Try to hit them so that their own shrapnels will have em change their course. Wow, I didn't think this would actually halfways work.."
"Herr Kapitan, they're too many! What shall we do, one torpedo will never do."
"Ach, give em all we've got! Retreat while firing, too!" "Ja!"
The Submarines were clearly overwhelmed then, and remained onto the surface. They wouldn't go down without a fight though. The Kaiser's latest directives were clear and straightforward, the only way of halting the enemy was with the use of massive firepower. Missiles and torpedoes readied, and then fired in unison against the incoming drills, trying to frantically just use all the ammunition before they'd be overrun and defeated. They used the High Explosive torpedoes first, which were the step just below a Nuclear or Hydrogen bomb, which were weapons that the Reich had but wouldn't use unless the situation was completely desperate, which it wasn't. Heroically the subs would try and cause more random drone and non drone casualties, before being sunk...and that, would be their end.
Right when this happened, from the coast, more fire came. It appeared that most of the French Coasts had been armored pretty much like back in the days of Normandy. Martens had put quite a lot of budget for several years onto these things, thankfully now they'd be of some use. The Longer ranged cannons and the missiles (Always non nuclear) began to fire madly at the fleet from afar as they did bombard as well. Two "Ringwerferbunker"s were within the area, which were essentially bunkers with pretty big Railguns which shot ring-shaped charges towards the enemy. To fire them, power had to be cut from many of the cities of the vicinity. (I'm not post modern tech, so I can't have small, efficient, or many railguns, just a few here and there) Their sound was deafening, they were the biggest Railguns in the Reich after the main weapon of the Polarstern Flagship. With satellite aim, they'd try to answer the fleet's fire.
It was a matter of time before the Kriegsmarine would collide against the enemy fleet now.
Past the Coastal defences, the Forces of the Reich were hidden somewhere...

“Enemy forces are retreating, enemy submarines backing off.” The captain said, sweat pouring down his chiselled, weathered face. “Shall we pull back all forces?” He asked again, his fingers held closely to the buttons 3, 4 and 9. However, Thrask only had shook his head comply and denial. He picked up his sword, his shining Red blade, pluck of gold and silver tarnish, gleaming in the twisting glade, the sunlight from the large window bouncing off it’s permeating surface.
“Keep the pursuit for the drones. Send all of the smaller occupiers onto the beaches, and fire – “ But a heavy shockwave tilted the ship slightly, Thrask holding hard onto the railing. “Looks like they’ve retaliated against our bombardment on the mainland. Well, bring up the suicides, and get ready to deploy the marauders. I want them dead soon enough, understand?” He had his hand on his captain’s shoulder, like a very fatherly figure, behind the weeping long beard and the glimpsing blue eyes. “I want them to be ready for this attack.” He drank up the last of the ice cold wine stippling in his fingers, and he placed it firmly down on the cold metal table, the ice inside still there, smooth and frosty.
He walked on, and the soldiers passed by him quickly, their worries and their misguidance gone, only with a distinct goal in their attitude, and they were prepared to fight. Already, in the steel woven transports, the Sirens kept their weapons under check, watching, waiting for the chance to overwhelm and outwit their foe with everlasting shrapnel and lead. But Thrask, unlike them, did not head towards the beaches for blood and glory, but he head to the inside of the rehabilitation sanctum of his massive ship. Capital Battleships were already drifting in the waters, firing relentlessly against cliffs, attempting to take down the enemy defences that pummelled against their fleet. Already, four armoured ships have fallen, and tens of tinier mirror ships destroyed. The drilling drones were still on their pursuit, their hunt for the submerged foe, the children inside the hearth of the Zealotry tracking them down, as if it were a nasty game.
But it in the rehabilitation center, in it’s silver walls and the cushioned floor, that thousands of criminals, fighting and arguing amongst themselves, watched as Thrask emerged onto the podium, in his hand a machine gun. With a clear he spoke, but it showed the compassion behind it’s icy tone; a compassion that the criminals did not seem to notice. “You are, as decreed by the law, the scum of the world. Murderers, Rapists, Thieves, Sadists, and everything in between. That is what you all are, and I am under Jenrakian accord to kill you all.” He said, pointing his gun to the crowd, as they braced themselves, watching closely. “But I’m not here to kill you. I’m here to place you in the way of fire, to have the chance of living a free life. Here is the deal. You – “
“Shut up!” A man said, before he was unloaded with lead, the people around him backing off from the steaming corpse.
Thrask continued as if nothing had happened, “ – are to fight the enemy defences in planes, and you will, most likely die. But if you men break through, and you destroy the walls and allow a path for our true soldiers, you will be given the most rewarding prize in your miserable life: freedom.” He said, with an evil sneer. “Or, I could simply kill you all with my gun, and you will never have the chance no longer to be out of prison. Understand?” He yelled in a ferocity, a dangerous and deadly cry of anger.
Slowly, the criminals stemmed off into the metal open hatch, and there they began to become suited up, and entered the aircraft, ready fight for their freedom. They were not for fighting for the Jenrakian imperialism, they were fighting for personal sanctuary. In droves, they rose, and in droves, missiles armed, they flew towards the coastal defences, where the great enemy laid.
The PNA had gotten far without serious resistance. Troops, though scattered, took much territory. In fact, this was so effective that it provoked a KM response in kind with their own larger fire brigades to deal with separated units of the PNA. The KM counterattack was vicious. Many units fled and deserted upon being attacked by overwhelming force. Some held fast and were annihilated when they could not stand up to the firepower of these KM task forces. Most fell back south, toward the Barkozian border.
The caveat here was that as the KM drove the PNA south toward their HQs, the PNA recieved actual support from their parent HQs. Commands were quick to go through and the KM troops met tough resistance as the 155 and 105mm artillery that the PNA had was able to bring its fire to bear on the enemy troops. There was still massive casualties on the PNA side because they could not match the firepower in armor and had to rely on their artillery and mines to help them. It did not take long, however, for the PNA command staff to send their armor in strength to support the defense of these pockets but reinforcements in infantry were held at the border in fear of bombing or armored attack.
Barkozian armored doctrine was similar to their infantry doctrine. Tanks were there to help the infantry, because tanks alone were ineffective and a waste of money. Most companies got either one or two tanks or one or two armored trucks. Because of this, the KM tanks did not have too much problem, though the M60s and M48s were effective against the captured Italian vehicles, though useless against the heavy tanks.
Problematic for the KM, presumably, were beleagured units that took towns and cities, held fast, and survived the counterattack. Most of these units were good units, mercenaries mostly, and guarded their supply dumps and HQs if that was defensible. Most of the smaller units were captured when KM forces bothered to sweep them up, but the two bigger pockets were held by mercenaries and did not waver. The KM troops went around them in true Blitzkrieg style but came upon tough regular units near their support units and infrastructure. Ironically, for all the dispersal that the Barkozian generals had wanted, they had pulled back into concentrations to hold off breakthroughs. The front line seemed more like a bunch of strong points than an actual line.
Also, the first plane the PNA launched against KM slipped out of Barkozian territory under the radar.

"I'd love to do that dear, now though is not the right time."
Martens sighed calmly as the news regarding the Barkozian attack were better than what he expected they would be. All the groups of Tanks and Infantry continued forwards, with relatively few losses. Notoriously one group was almost completely eliminated though when it became deorganized due to a mine field, combined with artillery and a brief enemy attack. Well, Martens knew that the Italians weren't as properly trained, but it was still good. When the Barkozian troops had grouped up to resist, when the good artillery of theirs began to fire, they pulled back and all regrouped just past their reach, gathering all the previously delayed troops. While this happened, several Messerschmitt and Stuka-8 bombers backed up with some oldish (But still good) Focke Wulf Jets headed to their fortifications, to weaken them with some bombs here and there while buying time for the next attack. A few of the groups tried to liberate one of those towns mentioned, but were repelled by the experienced mercenaries. "RUGGED DEFENSE!" for those who've played Panzer General. To solve this, troops from the Eastern Reich (Poland, Slovakia, and such) were sent, mainly infantry but with a very large number of 155 and 210mm Artillery, plus Wurfrahmens (Rocket Artillery), always with the support of some armored units here and there, and a good number of Luchs Recon Armored Vehicles (Elite Light Tanks), because Martens wanted this solved as quickly as possible before the situation caused his army ahead to become stuck.
Noone noticed the lone PNA plane slipping just by...
Now, to the west.
The Kriegsmarine approached. In a perfect, careful square formation, strongest ships in the centre and weakest in the exterior, it seemed as if a huge mountain-island of metal was moving forth, ontop of it was the war flag of Kaiser Martens mounted onto the Polarstern. And surprisingly, they weren't moving that slow, for ships of their size the biggest ones were fast. They weren't within firing range yet, but now they could be clearly distinguishable in any radar or system detection: Through their flank the greatest ship gathering in the history of the Fourth Reich was moving in, and moving in fast, and soon the main weapons would begin firing and the missiles would be in the air. During all this, the remaining submarines continued to fight, but one by one they were overrun by these drills. Before going down though, they detonated all of their weaponry, destroying many enemies more, and leaving the path to the beach all "Shrapnelled" - Now the enemy would have to take an alternative way if they did wish to invade, or much more easily use planes, as they did.
The Coastal defences continued to fire as quickly and as accurately as they could, then again they were only sitting ducks there, and soon began to suffer from the enemy attack, their firepower being much greater. Many guns were destroyed now, but most physical barriers (natural and walls) remained partially, or their wreckages still got in the way, soon though, the place would be pretty "invadeable" - The only purpose of the fortifications was to buy time.
An also huge amount of the most modern planes of the reich - Silberpfeils and Valkyrjas awaited some sort of aerial attack onto the coastal defences or onto the land past them, and continued to scout the area, just waiting for the enemy to try something first, not wanting to risk anymore as they had done earlier to get fired upon by AA and a multitude of other fighters.
There were clearly more Panzerdivisions ready everywhere, but their location was uncertain as they always kept moving, and were also waiting to see what would happen with the Kravenian situation, whether if they should skip him by or surround him. If they had to end up surrounding him to contain him, this would give the Jenrakian forces a very nice gap of unprotected land, but nothing was certain for now.
The radar flared up, as a large red group of metal waved onto the screen, Thrask wondering on what it may be. Looking around at the massive movement, he did not change his expression, but merely nodded his head. “Keep pressing on the aircraft, make sure they break the way open for the invading forces. Deploy all depth charges to the frontal wall, get rid of the debris in the water, and flank the beaches and the last of their defences with the amphibious transports. Get all of the armoured walls to cover o expose the side flanks, and foru seconds before they come into reach, let loose the fire on anti armoured shells. We already lost enough drones against their submarines, we need to focus the brunt of our attack on the coastline, and keep the enemy fleet preoccupied. Make sure all the capital ships are messaged with this detail.”

The Admiral at the Polarstern wondered if this was some sort of trap, it was so strange that even though that the huge fleet was visible now onto their radars (Or so they though) they didn't seem to do anything about it. Even better, they were starting to try and flank the beaches!
It was time to seize this chance. They continued to approach, heading to them diagonally, to the backside/flank. They'd go forth and hit the centre of the slightly scattering formation, wanting to deorganize them and damage the most important ships first, they wanted to cause chaos. Hopefully they wouldn't know what hit them until it was too late.
Within some minutes more, through a very elaborate process, the fire of every weapon within this fleet was synchronised. It'd only work for the first wave though, since it is a very difficult task. "ACHTUNG: Prepare to fire in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, FEUER. All units forward, destroy them, Für Deutschland!"
Then a flash was seen in the horizon as all the ships fired at once towards the enemy, while also approaching full speed onto them (The faster ships slowing down some to keep cohesion with the slower ones. A multitude of missiles was soon in the air, as well as many many shells which would arrive sooner and also just a few large calibre railgun shots, torpedoes too, Supercavitating torpedoes, and a technology imitated by the Kaiser from a previous enemy which consisted in a torpedo-missile which skimmed by the surface at the speed of a jet plane. The idea was to use the initial wave to disrupt them, then all ships would just keep going forth and firing, but not longer in a synchronised manner.
It was too late to save the coasts though or the submarines, the defences did not withstand the attack for much longer, and before the wave of fire already mentioned, the last guns fell, and it was all clear, ready for the enemy to step in. Though, when the fire at the sea begun, a huge concentration of aircraft which had been waiting - Basically every ship that Martens could muster, whether it were Fighters, Bombers, Helicopters, anything - Headed forth to intercept the enemy carriers, bomb the ones which had deployed, and specialized Gugnir Bombs would be soon fired by Messerschmitt bombers onto the fleet, the idea was to pierce them with those bombs, then again no bomber was dumb enough to actually go to where the Fighters could not back them up, which were the majority and which also were focusing currently onto the incoming airborne forces. The ground though, was deserted, apparently Martens wanted to give them a safe spot to land or he didn't want his Panzerdivisions fired upon by the ships, so these laid just past the aircraft still concealed, after having overrun The Kraven Corporation's attack rather brutally, though with a good amount of losses. (He said that he quit the war.)
The Kaiser himself now had left the control room and was entering the "Kaiserwagen" which was a tank built just for him, which resembled a Leopard III but was much better, and of course bared his Personal Flag on top. He'd lead his SS Leibstandarte "Kaiser Martens" and join the fight at land with his own Panzerdivision, which was every soldier's dream, it had the best technology, it had even mysterious prototypes at times, they were the best soldiers in the Reich. Now, though, Martens wondered if he'd deploy to the east, or to the west. Some people called him crazy, how could he risk himself as to be in the center of the battle himself? But his answer was, that he wouldn't ask his Soldiers to do something he could not, and that he also was a Defender of the Vaterland, that it was his duty to lead his men in battle. He wasn't dumb, he knew that not only the Panzerdivision was the best, it'd also help his men morally and many times scare the enemy just from himself being there.
"Enemy fire coming from the back side, four legions lost, eight lurkers destroyed. What do we do?" The captain asked, wondering on what Thrask would do. "We are firing back immediately four seconds before they got into range, Lord. But what about their retaliatory strike?"
Thrask only wondered carefully, on what to do. "Deploy the Rain tactic on the enemy fleet. Keep firing arbalests until we have the coast, then divert all defenses to the enemy fleet. Use the traction and reduce the gass levels to push forwards, and get the Sirens to gain the foothold on the remains of the cliff. How many suicides do we have left?" Thrask asked his men.
"Enough to take the defenses. Shall we keep going?" The other captain asked him.
"Keep going. Launch targeters and armoured ships to take fire for the main barragers. I want that coastline, gentlemen, nothing else. When we have the coastline, we can race across the countryside to raid their bases. But first, we have to deal with their navy! Deploy them all!" Thrask commanded, and his captains followed suite.
From the missile ships, the cruisers and the battleships, the smaller pods began to load, and they fired the arbalests, in great hordes of fury. They did not do enough damage to pierce a ship alone, but like the tenacious drones earlier sent out, the sheer number of missiles alone should be enough to distract the enemy, while the main assaulters kept firing on the coastline, eliminating what should be the last resistance from their defenses.
Still, in the air, the marauders kept their vigil assault, reckless and powerful, firing again and again against enemy defenses, hoping to clear a clean path for the Sirens to reach. The depth-charges had done their jobs, and now only the convicts were left to do theirs.
Shrapnel no longer in the waters, the transports arrived quickly enough to assault the final flanks of the shoreline, machine gun fired from it's top blazing as the lead spun through the washy air, the seafoam thick and arid. While on the Zealotry, the turbines turned off, and the carriers launched out, small ships lit on fire dashing crazily towards the enemy fleet. In large numbers they were, random and yet, still co-ordinated, for the grip of Thrask kept the fleet in control. To stop the enemy, that was all that they needed right now.
"When the shorelines are taken, I will proceed to join." Thrask told his captains.

The Admiral thought that it was weird them not striking back, as the ships advanced forth, just blasting away at the enemy mercilessly, for a moment it seemed like an incredibly easy victory. Until the arbalests showed up. "I don't know what those are, but I'm not letting them come closer. Ready all Flak and other AA defences, try and fire at them. Fire a heavy explosive missile towards the drone concentration, Now"
The missile soon was off, as the AA would begin firing straight away as soon as the drones got in reach. The idea was for the missile to explode close to the arbalest drones, the great explosion should destroy a good share of it. The Admiral had his hand onto the red button to detonate this missile, watching it carefully, just in case it may get destroyed before getting a chance to actually explode. It was just an attempt, it could go well, or it could fail. If it did fail, only a limited number of those arbalests would be actually halted, and that wouldn't be good.
The fastest light cruisers and destroyers separated from the main formation, using their superior speed to try and pursue the enemy, to use their shorter ranged weaponry to cause more damage. After all, they weren't directly firing back. They wouldn't get *TOO* close though, fearing those drones. Maybe, they'd distract some fire from the arbalests? The Admiral wasn't sure on this move though, but anyways the shells and torpedoes kept going, proving to be very lethal.
Though, the coastline couldn't be saved, while this happened, the last man defending it died, and it all laid in shambles, ready for Thrask to just step forth onto the beach and beyond, with apparently no resistance. Martens did not want to fight the beach, he'd rather allow him to set his army up onto the unprotected spot than face naval artillery. The position just wasn't defensible, so he won the beaches.
The last thing which happened though, was the impressive swarm of previously described Fighters and Fighter Helicopters moving forth to try to destroy the marauders and anything which was on the air. Martens had bet all his cards onto that air battle, sending almost every ship he had to stop the enemy aircraft. If they'd get them to be halted, or busy enough, bombers would try to destroy the carriers which were to penetrate the coast, but for now they remained in a safe distance, with defensive helicopters.
Now, Martens was nowhere to be seen. He was on his way to the spot where he'd deploy.
A final burst of power, and a heavy thickset of lead into the man's body, the Siren looked around coldly as the last of the known enemy resistance on the coasts and the cliffs were killed, the enemy defenses in shambles, destroyed and eliminated. The next phase had begun. No matter how experienced or technologically adept Thrask was, the enemy fleet was clearly at a massive advantage, fighting on their own turf, with superior numbers and a supporting economic strength. Something that Jenrak, while it's corporate hand stretching so far into the world, cannot reach far enough to effect the course of battle. So, in the stead, only tactical supremacy would gain them victory. Things, had gone as planned, and they would make sure it would go as planned.
Immediately, the Main Siren force geared up instantly, taking the equipment from the transports they brought, readying their lancers. Rocket turrets mounted on it's backs, long sleek armour and javelin poles, dipped in Jenrakian gunpowder, the lancers were ready, and prepared to begin the raid. It would be a guerilla warfare, fought in groups co-ordinated by the split captains of the infantry divisions. Taking up it's helm, the first group, led by Achrikthaus, would raid the southern section, the eastern movements will be dominated by Enthrophis, Caladian taking up the north-western end, Zarathaul beginning the hunt of the western forces, and Thrask, should he survive to gain his foothold on Kaiser's land, will launch his onslaught of fury upon the western borders.
While on the coastline, and in the remains of the cliff, the remaining forces, the ones whom did not enter the hunt and raids on the empire, began to deploy the final defense against the enmy navy; the long ranged anti-armored shells, powerful and heavy, linked up by siphoning the fuel from the transports. With the last deployment, the arbalests were thinning out, the ambient enemy's attacks taking out large nubmers one at a time.
But when the final artillery defense was made, the machien guns deployed to defend it's backs, the cannons roared, and the shells flew, as the drones swarmed, and the remaining convicts still dogfighted against enemy aircraft.

The naval battle progressed, soon the Kaiser Martens Kriegsmarine seeming to overwhelm the enemy ships. There were losses here and there of course, with the huge amount of ships that Martens had sent, it was prone that a good number would end up sank or damaged, especially in such a thick formation, but they just continued forth, firing in spite of all, torpedoes and missiles trying to get rid of the drones specifically, being handled by hand by skilled operators, then again the Admiral was willing to take the losses that were caused if the enemy was eliminated. After all, some ships were rather old, it was time for a renovation of the Kriegsmarine Arsenal, as soon as this war would be over, if it wasn't too long. The enemy felt then two surprise attacks being issued. The first were one-man submarines, which had hid just below the fastest destroyers which had gone forth, these got up close and used their drill torpedoes onto some of the larger ships. Some were sunk, as they had no defense, and at times they would become stuck after causing a hole, being pretty much a kamikaze tactic, and once even one of the subs hit the propellers of the own ship which was helping it hide, since this was a rather complex issue, but this should just give a further edge for the KM Forces.
The second surprise attack was a relatively small horde of Motorcycles with Sidecars, armed with a few small missiles, a Machinegun and at times the sidecars carrying a few Panzerfausts. They weren't such a big deal, but since they were fast, they just would try to hit the Sirens while they were setting up, and then run out. Thing was, these bikes were almost devoid of armor, their only chance was to use their speed and their luck. The enemy troops had no way to know this, but they were pretty much surrounded, it's just that Martens didn't want to fight in the beach. The Kaiser absolutely hated Guerilla tactics and how difficult they were to get rid of, so he'd try and stop them at all costs from getting to do such things, he had suspects that it may just happen, but... not certain just yet.
Above, the fighters continued to battle against the convicts, having a pretty hard time, because these people were much more commited because of their life, their freedom, they were frantic and fierce in battle, and it shocked the fighters who were sent, because they were not so experienced. Yet, with good leadership from the veterans around, and with the approaching of the defense helicopters to use their missiles from afar, Martens expected to just change the tide of the air battle. However this implied that the Bombers were left almost unguarded, so they began to retreat to a safer position just in case another wave of fighters may just come out of the blue.
This battle was now dramatically being reported and broadcasted all across the Reich as the people of nearby towns had been armed and warned, giving things a very epic, glorious favor, and also the different songs coming from the loudspeakers of the Kriegsmarine only helped to build up the soldiers' patriotism and morale as it all continued. Funny how something like a carnage could be "made up" to look so good. Just as the Kaiser was a good fighter, he was also skilled with the teathricality in his battles, using it as another tool to win.
It never seemed to end; the fresh supply of criminal blood, the lead that sprayed throughout the cloudy air. They were fierce, they were strong, but they were disorganized. Jenrak’s aircraft were losing now, as the enemy began to launch more organized forces. There was only one option left, if the sky was to be theirs. The Kaiser outnumbered them in almost every aspect, so the tactics had to be won by Thrask, now that the Kraven no longer stood at their side. Few of the capital ships have already been sunken, odd submarines seemed to be the assaulting them mysteriously. Instantly, the brunt of the fire from the Warships unleashed finally upon the enemy navy, all their missiles, their lead, their artillery fire diverted now to the enemy navy, the Sirens more than capable of getting rid of the surprise attacks on the Cliffside beaches, for they were, after all, the Sirens. They were the best invaders Jenrak could offer.
Grenades and rockets flew in every direction, as the artillery still pounded from the edge of the cliff remains towards the ocean, aimed at the enemy’s ships, the Sirens firing skillfully against an ambush, expecting the attack. It was always something similar, for they had faced this all too often against organized rebels on Jenrak’s soil. To do this same task merely against slightly more better supported foes would not be of a great burden, no? Nevertheless, the Sirens still fought, and with every kill they gain, they would yell, in their distinct tongue, Illithrias Erruminaax! All of Jenrak’s elite fighters still fought overseas elsewhere, the dreaded Fists of Stone battling across glaciers and the Sword bearing creeping in the darkness.
But there was only the Sirens here, the recruits, the Murnmaks and the Ershuns. They were charged with Thrask’s ambition, and they were to lead the lancers to the raiding of the Kaiser’s land. The surprise attack initially was slowly anticipated, but they still quickly overwhelmed the Sirens, until quick machine gun fire replies began their attack. It was apparent there was little, if no armor, and they would put that to their advantage.
Southern of the Kaiser’s Land
Upon their wake, the massive slew of enemy lancers upped over the hill, as they simultaneously from similarily other places in the land, swooped down upon their foes; civilians. With a bloodthirsty appeal for the gods, they would fire, and then quickly leave. The trick was to have the least amount of casualties, so the lancers only traveled in groups of two.

The navy continued to fire like there was no tomorrow, remaining with their close formation as it was now a matter (Apparently) of who would shoot more quickly, finally being answered directly by the navy's cannons. Still, because of the earlier success, even if they had some trouble now, they'd win, and they wouldn't allow any ships to escape. The gigantic Polarstern moved forth then, aiming for whichever ship of the enemy fleet was the largest then, and prepared it's main weapon. This weapon was a large caliber Railgun type of weapon, which was new technology. Because of how big it was, it required an obscene amount of energy to actually work, and even then, it could be used VERY Sparingly, otherwise the whole ship could just burn out. "ACHTUNG! Perpare to fire the Eisbrecher Kannone!" The ship then halted, and most of it's energy was diverted towards the weapon and it's control. The enemy didn't know what was happening, but would be able to tell that something was happening, because for some 15 seconds, this ship stopped firing completely, and looked as if it had suffered a power cut. After those seconds, without warning, a humm would be heard, and within the next 5 seconds, the great ring of metal would be propelled right away towards their main ship. The Polarstern could only use this weapon safely once per battle, but given the nature of a great railgun weapon, it WOULD sink or destroy whatever it hit.
After that, it would return to the normal firing mode. The downside was, that the Polarstern, was such BIG a freaking ship that well, basically nobody would miss such a target, still, taking it down seemed almost impossible. The size of it often played a psychological advantage, seeming to often scare the enemy, but judging from how the Sirens behaved, Martens didn't think that even the Eisbrecher Cannon would actually scare anyone now. Certainly not Thrask.
The battle afterwards would continue normally, on the sea.
Above, the Defenders of the Reich cheered as they were starting to achieve victory, a few more fighters then arriving as well as with the Bombers, starting to drop some bombs here and there onto the enemy on the beachhead, now that the air portion of the attack didn't seem a threat anymore.
Aside from the motorcycle raid, and the occational bomb falling here and there as even the bombers tried to get rid of the remaining fighters, which were even more deorganized now and even fewer, there were no more attacks on the Sirens on the beachheads. The Motorcycles managed to cause some losses here and there, but their armor was almost unexistant, only the pilot had a layer of frontal armor, and that was it. After sending two quick waves of Panzerfausts, they all turned around and left, suffering approximately 50% of losses, though they weren't many anyways, so the number was not intimidating as it'd be loosing 50% of a Panzerdivision.
The enemy Forces that had landed more southwards, at first weren't detected, but they were VERY close to one of the Panzerdivisions which was getting ready to strike the beach areas. They were undetected for now, by chance, but this wouldn't last.
Still engulfed in fire, flames licking their coffins of pain, the airplanes began to drop like a great showers of meteorites into the plummeting sea, the water emitting the steam from the fire. As they began to die off, the criminal scum began to take more desperate measures, fighting until the very death of their attacks, launching everything they had against the enemy aircraft. “Lord, we are all out of ammunition.” The soldier replied, watching as the flames still drooped down outside. Picking up his telephone, he sent a message to the next commander, a shrewd but calculating man named Anthropithus, whom controlled the large divisions of aircraft that were to assault enemy ships. “Launch all of your aircraft, and stop them. I want the air battle won.” Thrask commanded, to the complete agreement of his men.
Just as the Polarstern stopped firing, beginning to use it’s fabled weapons, he noticed something wrong. “It’s pulling something out of it’s sleeve. Defend all capital and communication ships. Launch the armoured wall.” He said, as the thick, armoured began to encircle around his fleet, a large steel plate floating between the enemy fleet and theirs. Should something happen, it would cripple the wall, but it would allow still a few more minutes for them to retaliated.
“Deploy all artillery guns, and launch the ravagers. Tell the commanders and the legions that I no longer care about prisoners or capturing technology. I want them all destroyed.” He said, as the orders hemmed out into the other regions, decoys launched from under the ship’s helm, striking down the waves as they glided underwater. Amongst them, the remains of the drilling machines and the drones were dispatched, still controlled by their shrewd and odd masters, sadistic children whom had no qualm.
