In a letter to Chancellor Ngu Phuok Dinh, Sel Appa's UN Delegate Robert Johnson said:
"I feel my job is no longer necessary as the United Nations is ineffective and has passed ridiculous, unnecessary resolutions. In addition, I have not voted on several as protest and I hereby resign from my position as delegate effective immedately. I suggest Sel Appa withdrawfrom the UN as soon as possible and stop supporting a pointless and helpess organization."

Johnson's spokesman could not be reached for comment. Also, the Chancellor said he was not sure if he would send a new delegate or withdraw from the UN as recommended.
