As dusk falls on Rolatia on the first of December 2026, a nation cheers. The Rolatians are partying, and they have several reasons. They are partying because of the Rolatian success in building a bigger empire. They are partying because they are all helped by the goivernment to succeed in life through education and social welfare. They are partying because the economy has finally boomed. Moist of all, they are partying for one main reason. The billionth Rolatian was born on the 30th of November. Their noble Prime Minister had told them in a speech, and had left the stage to cheers. Foreign leaders had been encouraged to celebrate their success with them
Dr Joseph Edwards was sitting in his office in quiet complentation. The country he had lead for over two years now since its independence was strong and happy, and the people were becoming richer. The military had liberated many places, and was working on more. He smiled as he thought of the future generations of Rolatians, happy and secure in their great country.
(OOC: The Educated Technological State of Rolatia is a massive, socially progressive nation, renowned for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 1 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
After nearly 6 months, I've reached the 1 billion mark. Special thanks go to Kriegzimmer (for making my military strong) and Czardas (for helping me out when I first reached the forum scene a few weeks ago)
