The Holy Empire of Saint Fedski issues the following response:

Though we have only recently began a relationship with ViZion, we think of them as a friend. They have proven themselves to be sensible, logical and active in the international community. Like every relationship though, there are disagreements, but I, Chairman Gary Girardi, and my government believe our nations can work through these differences and become closer. We would like to offer ViZion an Embassy in the Holy Empire of Saint Fedski's capital Sarnia and within the heavily guarded "Embassy District". We have around the clock security provided for foreign diplomats and already protect Findan's embassy.

We would be more than willing to accept your offer of an embassy in your nation. We would also offer you an embassy if we were not on the eve of a massive war. Currently it would be far to dangerous for you to enter our country, let alone even make a trip here, as the enemy we face wishes to destroy anyone who is aligned with us, or affiliated with us.

The Ecclesiarchy considers ViZion a meddlesome and hypocritical nation with no proper convictions and sycophantic and fawning allies. We are not hostile to ViZion, however, and wish no trouble with either ViZion or her ingratiating allies.

Officially ViZion has been declared an "apostate" nation, which is one level below "heretical" and two below "demonic" but one level above "heathen" (on an ascending scale of classifications of nations unfriendly to Xirnium).

To: ViZion

Greetings from the Concordance of Czardas! In response to your query, we are saddened to say that we know next to nothing about your nation, except certain very general facts known by most of the international community that shed no light, positive or negative, upon your nation.

Therefore, in order to discover more, we will dispatch an operative of our National Intelligence Department to your nation. The operative will be a resident or citizen of ViZion. You will not know who our operative will be. It may be someone close to your leader, or even your national leader himself (this is not unheard of). And remember that our spies are not only people.

If you succeed in unmasking our operative, we will always remember you as one of the few nations that has ever managed to discover Czardaian intelligence forces. If you have not succeeded after four months, we will reveal to you the name of our operative, and store the information about your nation discovered during that time in our database. In addition, whether you succeed or fail, we may choose to plant another operative within your nation.

Consider this but a "game" played by two international powers. If you accept this, signal so and we will begin. If not, then consider relations between our nations unharmed. No matter what the outcome, we wish to remain friendly towards ViZion.

Have a pleasant day.

You seem to be under the impression that our operatives would enter the country from Czardas. They are already within ViZion; however, if you wish, we can withhold their orders or recall them.

With your permission, we may also send a diplomatic delegation to ViZion, in order to open diplomatic relations and open a Czardaian embassy. We are working on expanding our relations and influence within the international community and would not wish to lose a potential ally.

Re: Upcoming War

Mr. Delain how are you sir? In the not so distant future, The Holy Empire of Saint Fedski will be reinvading and reconquering a quasi-nation. In the latest rebellion, the Allied States of the Islands broke off along with five other states. We will only have a token force of reserves remaing along the border with the Kingdom of Thorns and Free Land of Plympton-Wyoming, both are relatively stable, but could deteriorate into chaos anytime. Should any nations decide to intervene on behalf of the quasi-nations, we would like to ask for your support in our time of need. Currently on our soil is a Rapid Deployment Force from Findan. They are there to help us maintain the status quo on the borders if anything should happen. We will need extra help though if a foreign power intervenes on the side of the breakaway states.

Sincerely,
Chairman Gary Girardi

Yes, at this time we do wish that you recall them. As we said, as long as we know who and where they are, such as a delegate, or even just a 'vacationer' from your nation to observe, that is fine.

We also must say that you would be risking them life if you sent them at this time, as we are entering into what appears to be a massive war with Guffingford and his allies. It will be at your own risk.

Greetings,
On the subject of ViZion, the Rolatian government has had involvement. There is no formal alliance or even an informal one between the two countries. However, there is an informal agreement not to attack each other's territories, and there is also open diplomatic relations, with relations opened shortly before the Rolatia-Liberia war. As such, we believe that we have quite good relations with ViZion but would not go as far as to call it strong links.

Chairman Gary Girardi, I am regretful to say things are not all and well. I must also regretfully tell you that we would not be able to aid you, as we are currently facing a large-scale attack and invasion upon our nation within the next few days by a number of large and powerful nations.

We are currently calling upon our allies to prepare for this war, and urge your nation to keep its eyes open for the possible strike against your nation, as they are looking to bring ViZion down, followed by that of our allies and friends.

Again, I regret to inform you of this.

Ah. We did not realize that ViZion was preparing for war. We agree that it would be safer for their own lives if they were to leave ViZion now, and will have them recalled.

If possible, we will wait until the conflict has resolved before sending out a diplomatic delegation, as we do not wish to be drawn into yet another war at this time. Our military forces are stretched to the limit against Scellia and its allies at any rate.

Let me explain ViZion's stance on the bioweapon situation. We feel that the nation of Raven Corp should be allowed to sell the bioweapon Ventum 4, and that nations should be allowed to purchase it. Thus, we would not allow them to launch their blockade. When they threatened nuclear war on us was when we became very serious, and reacted quickly, sending forces to their border should they try to launch a nuclear strike.

We also thank you for your sympathy in the Guffingford situation. We have given them no reason to declare war on us, aside from the fact that we have never been on good terms. They have no right.

It is, that two nations should have highly similar stats. Although, I have seen two nations:

- Both Father Knows Best States
- Both with Civil Rights "Some", Economy "Frightening", Political Freedoms "Outlawed"
- Both with 100% tax
- Both with Uranium Mining as major industry
- Both with Education and Defence among their priorities

And the amazing thing was that they had never interacted, were in completely different regions, and basically knew next to nothing about each other. ;)

You can only have:

14 CR levels • 15 ECO levels • 15 PF levels = 3150 combos right there.
Then there are 100 possible tax rates, which makes 315,000 combos.
15 major industries makes a total of 4,725,000 combos, and 10 gov't priorities, 47,250,000 total.

-I don't know. In fact, I always wonder why some nations seek to poll how others view them. One would think that indicators such as economic trade levels and political depth would be more reliable than some kind of...poll.
-Indeed. Isn't ViZion a member of the Coalition Forces Alliance? I seem to recall that one of their members actually threatened the FKC.
-Hmmm. Can't seem to recall that but I shall have Archives run a search.
