Flesh-eating bug discovered in ViZion

ViZionarian scientists have recently discovered a new bug, which has been scientifically named Tiloilic, or simply Poison Sticker to the common people.
These spider-like insects live in colonies of thousands, and at times millions. They are flesh eaters that also pack enough poison in them to kill a small rodent, roughly the size of the diameter of a AAA battery.
While these insects do build webs, and look similar to a spider, they are not related. ViZionarian scientists are now wishing to work cooperatively with other scientists around the world to find out more about the Tiloilic, and find out where else they live.
So far, they have been found in the tropical forests and mountainous regions of Italy.

We are not selling them. The scientists are currently wishing to work with other scientists to learn more about them, not make profit. In the future, maybe.
OOC: Why did I see that coming? lol
Verghastinsel

Verghastinsel is disgusted by this insect, and those who would protect it. It is vermin and a threat and should be treated as such. Herr Lusoff has decreed it illegal for these creatures to be brought into the Republik for any reason, and they are to be exterminated if ever encountered.
See what horrors lie outside the blessed boundaries of our beautiful Republik?

Hello, We the baord are writting you today because we need to address the insect problem in your nation. About three years ago we had an experiment dealing with such insects but after 8 trials we could not make a finalized, we realised what half creations that were made, These may have been the ones you have found... We would be more then happy to remove them for you.
Thank you for your time

So long as you do not send the 'Exterminator' to ViZion, that is fine.
As per Raven Corporations message, our scientists are still wanting to learn more about these insects, and do not want them killed.

11-10-2005, 05:05
Egypstanian scientists are more than welcome to help your scientists in learning more about these creates. We are also willing to provide a controlled Egypstanian desert environment to see how these insects do in such an environment. We will also be looking to find out if we can find such creatures here in Egypstan.
I think it is aparent that some nation would use this "bug" as a weapon against their enemys, perhaps you would be more trusting to a nation with no army and no need to defend themselves? Our scientists would love to investigate this new creature for possible medicinal uses to cure new diseases at virtualy no expense to the peoples. I am certain a compromise could be made to gain an exclusive look at this new insect.

Raven, thank you for the information. Our scientists will likely find use out of it.
Egypstan, we wish to thank your scientists for offering their aid in this. We look forward to meeting with them soon!
Side, yes, which is part of why our scientists dont want to sell it, as well as why ViZion is not in the UN.
OOC: I also thought about having it used someway in military campaigns... lol luckily I'm not in the UN... never have been, never will be.

His Grand High Selka would like us to gather some of these creatures for study. Unfortunately the nation is on a strict lockdown and letting any foreigners into the nation is strictly prohibited. With your permission we shall be sending an emissary from the Science Commitee to gather specimens. Is this satisfactory?
~Secretary of Science
well if your not interested in using them for war and want to research and develope them then Side would be happy to offer any support, although our economy cannot support a large scale operation. Our scientific intellectual finesse may of some use.

Unfortunately due to recent civil war, His Grand High Selka has only given us a short leash, we have sent a team to your country and we are hoping to find useful information with which we may share with your nation, once the rightful rulers of Orteil Mauvais are in power of course.

You do not need to worry about the cost. ViZion can cover this. We just ask for your scientific help.
Thank you.
OOC: Also, welcome to NS! Glad to see you're not starting a war with your first few posts like so many try doing. Ask me, or any other vet RPer here, for any help as we're always trying to help everyone out and improve the RPing here! :)

We are curious regarding this new discovery. We wish to send a team of biologists to help in the research of this species. However, due to its potentially hostile nature and unknown capabilities, we ask that no specimens of this creature, living or deceased enter our lands. Only when we know more about it will we entertain the idea of letting research specimens into Aztlán.

OOC: If you want to put this off for a while considering the war with Guff, then I’ll hold off. However, I’m going to assume this is still on going.
IC:
A sleek gray figure descended from the blue cloudy sky. The small jet moved quickly towards the ViZionary runway. On board, three scientists read through papers, worked on laptop computers and chattered amongst themselves, speaking of the political tensions, war, and then, almost without warning, their subject of the investigation. These were unusual times, and there was always plenty to talk about.
The pilot transmitted the following message:
“Flight control, this is Gamma, Gamma 2, ANL Charter Flight 21, requesting permission to land.”
Although the plane would come across both military and civilian radar as being friendly, the unsettling thought of death by friendly fire was in the back of everyone’s mind. If an accident did occur, there would be no way of knowing what had happened until the ViZionary forces cleaned the debris, realizing the plane they had just shot down bear the flag of their allies.
Suddenly, reality set back in, and the passengers and crew concentrated on the task at hand…
OOC: Yay! My IC writing is up to par again!

AZL Charter Flight 21, this is ViZion Air Control. You are cleared for landing."
Two black, bullet-proofed Escalade ESV's, the window's tinted to 5% black, a fully customized interior, and 24" black rims (OOC: Hey, I like Caddy's, what can I say?), pulled up to the end of the runway, ready to welcome to Aztec scientists. However, it would not be the ViZionarian scientists who would be welcoming them into ViZion. Infact, it would hardly be a welcoming at all.

Under normal curcumstances, we would be more than willing to work with you. However, due to the looming war we are currently involved in with Guffingford and her allies, we cannot permit any other people from entering ViZion. This is for your safety, and the safety of our own people.
Upon the end of our war, however, we are more than willing to welcome your research team into ViZion to work with us!
