Mirkana

Today, the Armed Republic of Mirkana launched a commercial reconnaisance satellite into space. This marks the first true space launch for Mirkana.
What is more revolutionary is the method of launch. Rather than a rocket, a powerful magnetic cannon was used to propel a special pod containing the satellite into space.
The Space Cannon, as this device has been dubbed, has the advantage of being easy to rearm after a launch, and is not as easily detected as conventional rockets, since there is no heat flare. The satellite was not detected until 90 minutes after launch, when the press release statement was made and radar scans commenced.
The satellite, code named Space Eye I, took pictures of several locations of interest.
