It was the day of the final of the Confederate Soccer Cup, over 60000 people were pacted into the Staduim of Dreams in the Capital city of Confederation City and twice that number were packed into the bars in the streets surrounding it, when a small truck pulled up outside the Staduim adn the driver got out walked over hte street and caught a ride to the main railway station on the elevated railway, he had just gotten onto a cross country express to Oceania when inside the truck several lights flicked on and began counting down from fifteen minutes, for inside the trucks were 5 modified FFFi0k1 "Ghettoblaster" Low Yield Nuclear devices, that though noone knew it at the time had been stolen from a truck whos sedated drivers would not be found for eighteen more drivers, outside Oceania on the farside of the country, the bombs had had their impact triggers rewired to a central timer and would detonate simulationoulsly, as teh train with teh driver aboard puleld away from teh station, the bombs armed themselves, ten minutes later, jsut as the referee in the stadium blew the whistle to start the second half of the game, exploded releasing the same yield as 500 tonnes of TNT total.
The Staduim was wrecked as were the bars packed to capacity in the streets around it, 150000 people were killed, within hours the People front of Spizania declared that the old government was void and that there was now a communist government is effect, they immediately overan the city of Ascension, killing hte state governer and installing there own leader, whos name noone outside of the movements upper chelons knew, the civil war had begun.
