Dealing With The Damned
"Sir, if we do not do something about the revolt on Greorack, we will lose our main garrison in that sector" said the Minister of Internal Affairs "And then we'll lsoe the entire sector to them."
"And the last thing we need is to give the Greortal confidence that it can succeed. But we cannot spare the ships, as most are currently dealing with fools on planets whose governors are too stupid to keep order properly. Now get out, I have an important meeting with them. And I don't need to tell you what happened to my predecessor" replied the Valdun, obviously anxious.
"Yes sir" said the minister, suddenly hoarse and pale "I'll be on my way" as he quickly got up and hurried out the door, and nearly immediately a menacing figure glided through, and the air became cold, the heater, installed for this event and used always on the first occasion like this, having no effect, as always. What a stupid joke to play on the green thought Jelze as he tried his best to take his mind off the meeting. The figure gazed at him with a fiendish sight, his hands covered by his robes and spoke with a heartless corruption "You, like your predecessors, are far too tolerant of the Siskra and the others. We have urged your officw before to remedy this, but you still fail to comply."
"How can I? The Siskra make up 60% of the population. You only make up 30%. The rest are the others. And you've been told before, the Siskra are tolerant, so there's no way to do what you're asking us to the others and blame it on them."
"It is most displeased with your opinion. But hear this: We are no longer forced to the shadows. We will take whatt we want through force if you fail to comply" as the figure leaned closer to the Valdun, causing all the color to drain from Jelzen's face.
"Fine. You shall have your demands. The Parliament shall make it law in the morning. But if this backfires, damn you to the foulest depths of the underworld!"
"That" said the figure turning to leave "has already been taken care of. Though it is not what you would think it is."
