New Anti-Terrorism Policy

Dubai Minor

Uninhabited area of Dubai Minor

The hot red sun of Dubai burned the sands a dark red, temptered by the whipping wind. A single deus and a half rolled over the distance. Ahmid Lorence tapped the fuel gauge hard, and watched the needle jump, and settle on the half mark.

"All right, this is the place...just enough fuel to get back," he looked to the soldier on the passenger side.

"Good! Zammat is starting to smell horrible. Let's get this over with."

The truck creeped to a stop, and the two men jumped from the cab, and made their way to the rear of the truck. Pulling open the canvas flap, they reeled in the stench of rotting flesh. They heard wheeping in the front.

"All right," Ahmid said firmly. "Come on out, Kero..."

A sorrowful voice called back, "Please, no! Don't do this to me! I'm righteous!"

"Damnit..." Ahmid crawled into the back, coughing from the stench, trying to force the wretched smell of Zammat's corpse out of his lungs. Grabbing Kero, he forced the blindfolded and shackled fellow out of the truck.

"By order of the Supreme King of Dubai Minor," the soldier said as he looked down upon the writhing man. "You are hereby ordered to a death befitting your life. For your terrorist actions and conspiracy to dethrown the Supreme King, you are to die."

But that wasn't all. Ahmid and the soldier grabbed Zammat's pants with gloved hands, as the clothes were somewhat damp from the bodily fluids of decay, and pulled him from the truck, the corpse collapsed stiffly next to Kero. Kero's ankle was then shackled to Zammat's, with thick iron chain and cuffs.

They pulled the blindfol off the man, and Kero screamed in terror and tried to crawl away, but in his weakened state he was too exhuasted to go even a few feet. Ahmid dropped a canteen and a package of meat as he climbed back into the cab, cranked it, and the two slowly made their way back to base. Ahmid looked back, and saw the silhouette of Kero crawling the short, but grueling distance to the water and meat...painfully hauling Zammat behind him.

Ahmid smiled wryly, at the prospect of the convicted Terrorist, a devout Muslim, finding only pork and saltwater.

Abu Dabi,
In front of the King's Palace

The "Supreme King," Mushir Abbas stood tall behind a lavishly0made podium, brandishing the Abbas Family Seal. Hundreds crowded on the estate lawn, cheering, some booing, all wrapped in the heat of the moment. Press flashed their cameras, snapping pictures of the King, before allw ent quiet...as the King prepared to speak.

"Allah bless us all," he said. "This day, I come to you all to announce a new National, and Foreign Policy. It is a step to ensure the safety of Dubai Minor, and her people, blessed by Allah himself. A step against the tyranny of extreme terrorism, of any manner, of any creed. Yesterday two Terrorists, Kero Moahmoud, and Zammat Ramallah were sentenced and pu tto death under our new doctorine of zero tollerance against the blight of so-called fundimentalist terrorism that makes a bad name for us, as Muslims and Arabs, and for all of the Middle East!"

He took a moment to gaze out upon the crowd, and more flashes of cameras ensued. "Once our Military has grown to full strength, we will offer ourselves to the noble cause of protecting innocent, Muslim, Christian, or Faithless, from the horrible and evil practice that is Terrorism, where ever it may bring to bare that sin."

That was all that was said. Some wondered what this would entail for Dubai, as there was hardly any teeth in the Military to truly keep up with such a policy. Theories crossed the mouths of citizens, as to the untold fate of the two terrorists, responsible for the bombing of a Government building. Yet none of them were as horrible in tale, as it was in fact.

OOC: Mind you, this sin't against any particular Islamic group, and I'm deffinately not anti-Islam. I just want to get this nation kicked up in the International Stage, since I got my 'puter back to working. Once I get a Military built up, a more active approach to terrorism will be made...criticism/comments welcome...alliances also, teehee.

OOC: a tad harsh but hey, so what... like the plan.

OOC: Thanks, glad you like the plan, haha. But Yeah, he's kind of a sadist when it comes to outlaws. Thinkin' about denying Outlaws citizenship and therefore, if someone kills them, it wouldn't be considered murder.

...or is it me who's the sadist?

The Government of Kahanistan applauds this decisive step by the Muslim nations of cracking down on terrorism. However, we must criticize the method as unnecessarily cruel.

OOC: What tech level do you RP? I'm PMT/FT and just got drummed out of one because I'm used to RP'ing PMT and not MT. Just so that doesn't happen here.

OOC: Aye, 2010, near-about the completion of the last Palm Island in the RL Dubai. So I'd say MT - but I have no problem RPing with PMT.

IC: Official Release to the Government of Kahanistan

We assure you that these villains are indeed, Terrorists, Criminals int he worst form. As such, they deserve no lesser treatment. However, we do realize that many outside of our Country may see our methods as cruel. Yet we refuse to suffer the heresy that is Terrorism, and we would kindly ask that all Nations, who support the destabalization of Terrorist Organizations, to stand by our choice.

I belive that terrorists should be stopped, but in a completely different way. I think that only the terrorists leaders should be killed or tortured. If you cut of the head the body shall die. All of the followers should be punished by being suspended of certain civil rights for a period of time and if they are a higher command they shall be brought before trial of the UN. That is how i belive terrorism should be dealt with.

Message from Militia Enforced State, Force Commander James Ackvick: "We applaud your movements to prevent terrorism. As we follow the philosophy of 'equal treatment of the pain done to others', we feel that the punishment is just. However, I must say a word of warning, and that is to ensure that you are punishing terrorists, and not attempting an enthnic cleansing. If you are committing the latter under the banner of anti-terrorism, then we will become involved."

OOC: That's actually a pretty good measure, Superious...but ICly, I'm against it. My Country isn't in the UN. And about the restriction of certain civil liberties...well, there aren't many, according to my Nation's homepage...but I have a plan to do just that. May post about that soon.

IC: We are not bound by the guidelines or rulings of the UN, and refuse to have our sovereign rulings superceded by outside measures. We do, on the other hand, listen to reason, and we too ahve thought of taking out the leaders. The two Terrorists that were put to death under the new rulings, acted alone, without the support of larger organizations. Therefore, they were the only ones we could reasonably try under the new Law.

To other Nations, particularly, the Militia Enforced State, we assure you, and all others, that this Policy will not be used for mass killings. Likewise, rulings carried out will not be guaged by Race, religion, or any other creed...instead, by guilt. Rulings gainst supposed Terrorists will be carried ou on a case by case basis. Organizations will be dealth with swiftly, and justly, but with precision.

We are not a barbaric People...despite our severe methods.
