Shortly after her murder of her husband and ascension to the throne of Mauiwowee in a palace coupe, Harriet Levine, known as the "Black Queen" commissioned famed Mauiwoweean artist, Micky Langelo, to paint a large, self efficating, portrait of her. Not wishing to anger someone as powerful as the Black Queen, who could make him dead without a blink of her eye, the artist did as instructed and the painting, once completed was declared a "national treasure" by the queen and hung in the grand gallery of the House of Royals (clearly a prod to make the upper house of the legislature remember who was in charge). Since the removal of the Black Queen from the throne and her imprisonment for life on charges of treason and murder, the painting has been a sore spot with the new king, Rox, and the legislature. After discussion with leaders in the House of Royals, it was decided to auction the painting off and use the proceeds of the auction to fund art programs in the elementary schools of Mauiwowee.

It is therefore, with great pleasure, the nation of Mauiwowee offers the original Micky Langelo painting of the infamous "Black Queen of Mauiwowee" for auction. The painting itself measures approximately 8' x 10' and weighs in at, including the frame, over 200 lbs. It is an oil painting on canvas and is encased in a climate controlled, UV resistant glass case. bids will be open for one week with the starting bid being $500,000.00. Remember, it is for a good cause.

Additional history and details on the Black Queen for those who are unaware of her importance in Mauiwowee's history or the significance of her adopted nomenclature as the "Black Queen" will be supplied to those who wish to know more. bidding shall be open for 1 week.

Raphael, upon hearing confermation of winning the bid was both extrodinarily pleased, and annoyed at the price the bidding had reached.
With a shrug, he prepared the money transfer. Sure it would very severly cut his funds, but where was the challenge in making massive amounts of money if you were just going to hoard it.
He was also heard debating with himself who or what the second painting should be of.


He then proceeded to ensure the money transfer was safely shipped to Mauiwowee.

King Rox looked at the print out in amazement, but it was true and confirmed that a wire transfer for the full bid price had been received from Theao. Arrangments to ship the painting had been made and Theao would receive it in about 4-5 days. A lithograph of the painting would remain in the palace for historical purposes, but other than that he hoped he'd never see the painting again.

He left his office and went to pay a visit on the Black Queen where she sat in her cell at the Tucker Max unit of the palace prison system. He wondered what her reaction would be towards the auction.

Raphael recieved the painting and contemplated where it should be hung. With a shrug, he stored it in the vault, between the portrait of Joan of Arc, and the Queen Victoria of England.

He decided to request that the second painting be of the Black Queen in a frilly pink dress.
