The reasons for leaving was due to the main fact the average topic post from other posters(not counting bumps) is substancially low, only went i decide to attack n00bs nations pay attention.

Then perhaps you should join a topic instead of create one. When you have more reknown, perhaps you can create one.

And...there's a reason for it.

New nations need time to figure out how to RP properly.

I remember when you attempted to take over my nation back when I first started. Haaa...good times....

Other than your n00b warmongering, it's a shame to see you go, man.

Exactly, I like to read FT rps now and then, and have entertained the idea of making an FT version of myself, but being FT and trying to do 90% of your RPs with MT nations is poor RP and looked down on by both FT and MT nations IMO.

To be fair, I don't think it's the simple act of trying to RP as a FT nation with MT countries that leads to what you're facing. I think it's more the issue that you seem to paint FT as sort of your "I can't be beaten" trump card and try to elbow your way into a RP and win solely by having superior technology.

What has been the common demoninator of RPs that are widely recognised as great RPs? Simple. They've all strived to tell a story. In a lot of cases, technology took a back seat to putting out a story with believable characters and a storyline that makes people want to follow your RPs. I'm not saying technology can't play a role, but it shouldn't be the story. The Inkana Civil War had unmistakable elements of technology, but it became a story about my army's lack of training and experience and about a military culture that made the army second class citizens whilst the Navy was put on a pedestal.

I'm not saying you should completely drop FT and I'm not saying the FT is worthless. Ten years ago, I was doing a free from RPG that was what would be considered FT in the NationStates world. My avoiding FT here isn't a function of my being unable to RP in that world. On the contrary, I earned GM responsibilities seven months after my first sim. But the people who choose to play MT do so for a reason. They don't want people to come in lording their FT superiority over them.

Well I have been trying to combine FT with MT without changing the face of my nation, Basically i adopted a concept of "noblemen armies" Which are those corporate owned soldiers, the Corporation armies consists of MT-PMT technology as Gyrobot lot prohibits any attempt to strongarm an army for a coup. Hope this help for future references

well what are you looking for in an RP......

Why not try some RPs where stats and tech aren't as important? The various "school of" RPs -- where an individual from your nation trains with individuals from others in everything from martial arts to magic -- might meet your aims better.

PMT owns all.
True. But MT is more challenging, and thus better.

<--- is a MT nation that is thinking of upgrading to PMT as soon as his damned RPing partners get back online!

Mine is a small blue plane called the FC-159 "Dagger" Small Strike fighter, of which there are well over 300 in my air force. These small planes may not be big enough to carry teh UBERN00KZ OF D00M!!!!111!11, but they are fast, maneuverable, well-armed, and deadly. (The aforesaid UBERN00KZ, etc. are better carried by the Skyblade-6 "Striker" Close Range/Attack Hybrid bombers.)

Why not try one of the RP's that deal with making alliances with other nations? I think that if you try to get allies first, then you would have more of a chance if another nation on the same tech level as you decides to attack.
