Note, this tech is not for sale, I'd just like some reviews and suggestions for improvements. Please, be critical! Also, I know that this is not really MT, more like near PMT. Oh, and the wearers of this suit are genetically perfect super soldiers created in laboratories, not my average soldier.

The HT-11 (http://s7.invisionfree.com/Venom_Defense/index.php?showtopic=102) battle armour suit was considered too bulky for general use, restricting movement in confined areas. It was also too expensive to use in large numbers. The FLIT-3 (http://s7.invisionfree.com/Venom_Defense/index.php?showtopic=135) suit, although cheaper and lighter, had not the 'pwnageness' desired by many in the IN special forces.

Therefore the project was taken a step further, to produce the HT-12 battle armour suit. The HT-12 is tight fitting, light, and incredably resistant to bullet fire, shrapnel, EMP and fire damage. It uses stronger versions of the super-kevlar/ceramic mix found in the FLIT-3 armour suits and also a similar Black Steel computer system.

Computer Systems

The Black Steel computer recieves and transmits data from nearby Black Steel modules, giving it the ability to display on the HUD in the helmet the locations of nearby friendly units and enemy units that have been identified with satellites and other systems. Also, the HUD shows armour status, weapon ammunition (with compatible weapon) and has night vision, zoom and flashlight functions. A targetting system allows the wearer to more accurately fire at targets, utilising environment information.

The BS system uses a higly advanced form of AI to help co-ordinate movements of soldiers around the battlefield and to instruct them on where and when to perform different tasks. It can be overridden by a human working at a control terminal at the local base. The system also controls a basic optical camoflage system, using active pixel sensors and OLED to disguise the wearer to look like the surroundings.

Armour

The armour of the suit has been ballistically tested, the breast plate and helmet will withstand a 7.62mm bullet hit from anything over 15m. The armour has level III protection in the area's of the torso, head, upper arms and sections of the legs. The armour has interlocking plates that grant the wearer unrestricted movement. The armour is composite, but has a titanium-aluminium alloy with carbon fibres as a major part of it. A dilatant liquid (the more pressure you apply, the tougher it is) in small pockets helps aid protection.

The underlayer is fire resistant and is infused with anti-biotics and anti-venom/anti-poison chemicals. It is designed in such a way that when something such as a knife cuts into it, the antivenom chemicals destroy any venom on the knife as it passes through the material. In addition, special pockets of antivenom chemicals/antibiotics/steroids/painkillers are stored within the material, so when punctured they spill into the wound, cleaning it rapidly and dulling pain.

Other

A complex chemical and biological filter system allows the wearer of the suit to operate in extremely hazardous environments, such as areas contaminated with NBC weapons. The suit has a layer of PREMADEX to sheild against neutron and gamma radiation. As part of this system, several small canisters of stimulants can be released into the system when required, boosting the alertness and effectiveness of the soldier in battle. An in-built temperature regulating system controls the micro-environment inside the suit. An EMP protection system encloses the computer systems in faraday cages, preventing any charge from destroying the system.

The whole system is powered by two micro-powerpacks, lasting about 24 hours under full combat conditions, and around 36 hours under more relaxed conditions without using the OLED.

The HT-13 is a further development, based on technology taken from a captured SAVX Death Trooper. It utilises a microfusion battery in place of the powerpacks, which reduces the weight and provides space for more ammunition and improved targeting sensors (also taken from SAVX). The HT-13 looks identical to the HT-12.

Note: You can buy the HT-11 and FLIT-3 suits linked above (non RWC nations need the FLIT-3E version, same link).

Where are all the people who want to shout that this is not possible?
