TFR is a nation of about 470 million people, situated on an island of it's own, floating around however the currents take it. The nation is known as an 'Armed Republic,' with a chancellor as it's political leader. The current Chancellor is Kaito Saruwatari.
TFR has had a colorful history when it comes to war. TFR's first war was against the (now) Republic of Newvaria. TFR, with the help of her allies, took over Newvaria, and established a Republic. The second war was against the Federation of Joint Conglomerates, which is yet to be resolved. The third war was assisting Findan in its war against the Excessively Armed Republic of Automagfreek. That ended in a surrender, after a massacre of part of TFR's naval and air forces.
The economy is rebuilding itself, after cutting key parts of the budget and reducing taxes as necessary. Law and Order is it's primary funded sector, but Defense is starting to grow bigger by the day.
