I used to rp on nationstates about a year to six months or so ago. I had a couple (ok no) successful rps, a couple rps that could have been good, but then I had to quit. Now I'm back, as a new nation, and I'm haveing some trouble thinking of an intro RP. This is partly because:
1. I don't know who is still here.
2. I have a specific plan for my nation which doesn't fit with any of my intro rps
and 3. I have no imagination.
If someone could help me get back on track, that would be sweet.
Just so you know, my old nations name was Ramissle.

Most people are still around, and in various states of activity, notable exceptions being Sanctaphrax and Credonia (at least I think it was Credonia who left...). I'm not exactly the most reliable source of information on this, because I'm not really that integrated in the NS community.
Unless you want to save it as a surprise, perhaps telling us what this plan is would help. Otherwise, various generic plots can be dug up, such as a secession from another country, an election (fair or rigged), a coup (military or political), or a revolution.

That would be smart to tell you the plan.
Basically, I want to have The Thames River control this part of Connecticut:

I want the basic layout of Connecticut to remain the same, like all the roads in the same places, all the populations the same, because I think the way it is now would be cool to rp. The only part that would be changed is this:

That would be one huge industrial/urban center, with basically everything changed.
Through the course of the nations history, I want to start a war with Rhode Island, New York, and probally Lybia. I wish I had more time to explain, but I have to go. I'll get more into it tonight.
EDIT:Oh, I forgot the most importiant thing. I don't want my rps to be generic starting ones at all. So I guess I'll just rack my brain for an idea for now. It'll probally have something to do with New London or New York

Well, if you want tension with New York. Perhaps a general colapse or weakening of the US Federal system, coupled with some building tension and dissagreements with the New york state causing that portion of Coneticuit to suceed from the union and become it's own nation.
It could work even better if you had the Federal backing New York, but unable to really do anything because of some form of weakening (Industrial colapse and/or decline would be a good idea).

Anyways, I think I have an idea for an rp, I just need to fine tune it a little bit. Mainly now though, I'm wondering who is still here. Is Drum Gods, Kyanges, or any of that alliance with ViZion here?

OOC: Wow, I actually remember seeing you around....usually I can't remember how to spell my own nation's name (which is my last name) so...yeah.
I'd do a good ol' mayor running for office in a city, being strictly against some made-up corruption in Conn. and then eventually get so much hate federally for becomming like a 51st state or something become your own nation.

Welcome back. I'm still here (obviously), as is Credonia. Check my Xeraphian Allies list. A lot of those nations are still alive, if not very active.
